I booked here at the last minute because I couldn’t get a room in one of the more ‘high end’ hotels. Yes it’s old, yes it’s quite run down. It was clean though and the location was great. It also has a really beautiful pool. I spent the previous night in one of those high end motels and hated it - the bed at El Lago was so much more comfortable and the AC was freezing cold (which I wanted). Overall I’d say if you aren’t fussy on the looks it’s worth staying there.

New Years Eve 2021 in Gosford by default, not by choice. Travelling South and this was a one night only stay, not many places available on NYE but if did the job okay. Reception was very friendly and helpful, the bed very comfortable with the quietest aircon unit we’ve ever heard (or in this case not heard), delicious complimentary biscuits and a very high pressure shower were the positives about this place. The negatives, a mid 1980s technology touch phone which looked like it belonged in a museum, shower in the bath with a curtain and net curtains to truely make you feel like you’ve emerged from a time machine in 1985. But they counter this with a smart tv, the first one I’ve encountered in a motel. So a bit of both worlds to average out the good and bad. The room we had was no.29, we were warned it was unusual by the fact access was difficult to explain and no adjacent car parking available so if you can avoid this one!

When booking was told only one room left King Ocean view at $275 !!!! a night Advertising says stunning Ocean views True if u can see the ocean thru the massive trees right in front of the Balcony Certainly not clear Ocean view and as time goes on the view will be more restricted Don’t know who owns the land the motel or council If council then the motel should be asking for some pruning or indeed get rid of them If the motel own the land then change the advertising because it is not stunning views if u have to Bob down or up to see the wonderful view The Motel is old old old The room does not provide plates etc only some useless wooden knife fork The reason I was told Everything removed due to covid and now there is a rest But only open for dinner Wed to Sat so ??? Not even a tea towel in the room The fridge was one of those absolute mini jobs about 40cm x 40 cm very very small and fits virtually nothing Kitchenette very small. . Balcony extremely narrow two people can’t pass and u can sit but can’t stretch out Some carpet stains to The air con one of those old big in the floor Jobs very noisey but have to say it did cool well if u can stand the noise The pluses yes u can walk to the water The room was clean linen bed no problems all very good. This place should be avoided at all costs I called the property the day before to advise that we (4 people 2 rooms) had to go straight to work from the airport and we would check-in late. The girl was lovely and said ”no problem , we have 24 hour reception”. Upon arrival the manager told us late checkin will cost us $35 a room and that the girl who had answered my call was ”new”? Then i left my Kindle on the bed when we left the next morning(dumb thing to do). I rang about 6 hours later and told I'd be called back after he'd checked ....nothing untill the next day when I finally got through and told it's gone. Travelled with my elderly father, booked and received confirmation for deluxe twin room. I received a blank email from the motel 3 days prior to the booking, I replied informing them there was no message in their email and I confirmed my booking confirmation number but had no acknowledgement from them. On checkin I paid for the Deluxe Twin Room but given a 1x Queen bed room, went back to reception and manager told me there was a Twin room booking that had not yet arrived and could put us in that room however it was upstairs and I explained my father can not manage stairs and I noted ground floor room in booking. No apology or explanation as to why my twin room booking was overlooked/overbooked but he did offer a trundle bed for the queen room, which made it crowded in the room and bed not overly comfortable. As it was a one night stay it was ok but if we had stayed longer than I would have demanded to be moved to the correct room that I booked and paid for. Room was clean, tidy and renovated. No milk in fridge to have with coffee/tea. Could smell cigarette smoke from person standing outside our room. When booking a specific room type, you expect to get it, and because of this experience I’m not sure I would stay there again.

For the price, location and level of comfort my friends and I are happy to rate this motel a 5. We booked two twin rooms and we were offered upstairs or down stairs, close together. The manager was very obliging, friendly and helpful. We chose this motel for its proximity to the Wests Ashfield Leagues Club - only a 300m walk away so it was super convenient. It’s also close to shops and great value eating and night life. Parking was easy. Everything in the room worked fine and the beds were perfectly comfortable.

At first glance room ok, but after closer inspection It WAS NOT OK. The rooms/bathroom are old basic and filthy. Not just missing paint and curtains not fully hung and filthy, Dirty stains on them. Torn and dishevelled. The lounge smelt like dogs had slept on it. Underneath the lounge was disgusting, rubbish and food, it had not been moved to be cleaned. The AC units in both room didn't provide any heat at all AND it is freezing in Goulburn. Got extra blankets, doona's that didn't have covers that had blood stains and dirty marks, thin and old. Would not put them on the beds. Having a weekend away with my daughter and 2 her 2 children, was so disappointed that I couldn't give them a clean room, our advice is find another motel this one doesn't pass the mustard!!!!!

Incidentally we actually never pre booked this motel complex ( Winsd.Motel)room but another one with a different name across the road, i am second guessing owned by the same business owners . On arriving at the said motel we had booked at and paying both a room fee of $100, and then a further bond damages assurity of $50.,( without any prior disclosing of this), we were handed a key and an old broken tv remote with the back cover hanging of it, then told we were not staying at this complex but actually across the road to the winsdor motel, without being informed prior of this substitution. So bags back into the car and over the road we drove. On opening the rickety front door the overbearing smell of damp and bleach confronted us. On turning on the dim main light, vision in the room was not the best so on trying to turn on the fluro lights over the main bead, they were found to not work, as were the fluro light over the kettle /tea making area. In trying to wash my hands after a long drive, there was no hot water forthcoming from taps only cold. As we had paid a damages bond I was not going to cop any undue expenses from my bond fee so i rang the uninterested reception man at the other motel ( The Windsor motel had no reception open) to have these issues documented. There was stains and damp spots in irregular areas of the carpet, mould in the bathroom on the wall, ceiling, tiles, some of which were broken, and an old stained shower curtain, and several bugs on the ceiling in main part of the room. The cup was dirty when i went to make a cup of tea, crud in the bottom of it, so unable to make a tea. As there was no where to sit except on the stained bedspread over the double bed, my husband sat on it to make a phone call, putting the thin rock of a pillow behind his head., only to have a rather modest size cockroach insect scuttle out from between the pillow cover and crawl over him. Terrifyingly this was the clincher for us, I once again waited for the receptionist to answer the phone, demanded he come over to view for himself all the issues we had just witnessed. Eventually he came over, and the response from him astoundingly was Oh! So what do you want me to do about it!We were gobsmacked, & our response was simply that we could not stay in this room and wished not to stay in any of the other rooms either , we requested a refund of our monies so we could move on to another accomodation facility. This was refused, and we were told to come back tomorrow and speak to the manager, of which we said we couldn't as we would be well and truly on our way back home .Once again we tried to explain quite amicably that the room was filthy, smelt, infested with insects and mould, no hot water, lights not working and dirty cups, no hand towel or

Quiet room, 2 x QB's, suite was spacious with good quality beds, which were comfortable. We both slept well. Parking area was very hectic, fine when we booked in, but after going for a drive around the beach & the town, picking up dinner & back to the hotel, the car parks were all full. This was the only downside to our stay. Staff were very friendly on check-in & departure. If you were fit & able it was a short walk to eateries & the beach.

Recently renovated from the old Killara Motor Inn, this motel has some real advantages - clean rooms, a great location ~10 minutes' walk away from the Lindfield station, plenty of parking just off the Pacific Highway, and a terrific little restaurant serving up-market Japanese cuisine. Disadvantages of highway noise and external access to rooms (although well protected by a roof) are minor downsides, but you might ask for a room at the back with views south-west. There aren't many options if you are staying in the central north shore area - Chatswood and Macquarie are further away and much more expensive, and few local pubs offer accommodation.

Spent last Saturday (20-04-24) afternoon at the Hume Hotel Yagoona on a daddy daughter date with my 6yr old daughter to give her mum and brother a break while we were travelling through Sydney. I'm so glad that we did as the Bar staff went above and beyond to make sure my daughter felt like the princess that she is and nothing was a drama or effort. Even after my wife and son joined us both kids received some chips and lollies and thought it was the ”Best day ever!”. I couldn't recommend the pub or quality of the bar staff enough. If you get a chance make sure you stop in for a drink.

I'll start with the very few cons about this motel and finish with the substantial pros: Cons: This motel looks a bit shabby on the outside, and the furnishings in my room were old particleboard and showed signs of swelling at the edges presumably from Sydney's high humidity. The TV wasn't a smart TV. There was no in-room safe that I could see. Pros: The charge for the room was very reasonable, especially for Australia Day weekend. The bed was comfortable, the sheets and towels clean and changed daily. The room was clean and the bathroom spotless. The included breakfast is (two servings of each if a couple has booked the room): A variety of Kellogg cereal packets (I'm sure you could probably request specific types if you want), milk, two slices of white bread, butter and jam. My room had a toaster, microwave, kettle, kitchen sink and dishes, glasses and cutlery. The air conditioning was excellent and modern. My room (ground floor at the back of the parking lot) was remarkably quiet given the motel's location on a main road. The motel also held my bags cheerfully in their office after we had checked out so we could tour around before our flight. There are a limited number of free parking spots for guests (not reserved). The motel is centrally located, five minute walk from shops including a Coles and Aldi, Pharmacy and Edgecliff Metro Station. It's a two minute walk to a bus stop towards Watson's Bay or to the CBD in the other direction. Bottom line: The staff here were very attentive, far beyond the looks of this motel. This is a good value option for people who want to stay along the Bondi line but would prefer not to be at Kings Cross. It was actually cheaper than private rooms in many hostels around town. They do cut corners to keep the price low (old furniture) but it's a good tradeoff. I would definitely stay again. Pro tip: Try to secure a room facing the back of the building to avoid traffic noise.

Not really impressed, pulled in to park and nobody answered when pressing button. Had to leave car and go and check in to gain access to parking. The. Had to get out of car in the rain to swipe pass card to access parking. I requested a room away from the road noise and was not impressed to find a “closet sized” room that backed onto a rail line. Also directly across from reception, so had to listen to all the conversations that went on there as well as contend with the trains. Also. Not impressed to struggle with luggage and open the door to a pitch black room and had to feel around, dropping things as I tried to find light switch. Basic tv, couldn’t even cast Netflix etc from my phone. Room was tiny, basic but clean. To be honest, I’d rather pay more to. It have to deal with the train and reception noise.

We stayed here because of the price (needed 2 rooms) and proximity to Qudos Bank Arena for a show. Obviously not a great location as Victoria Road is horribly busy and noisy but once in the room with the door closed, it was pretty good. Certainly better than one would expect given that road. Love a firm bed so we were super happy with the bed - could have done with an additional pillow though and left it too late to ask.. Rooms nice and clean, nice view out over the golf course, showers were HOT and good pressure. Aircon quiet and efficient. Comfortable night. Long way for a coffee in the morning, unless you want Maccas which we didn't. Overall, would stay again next time we go to Qudos.

I’ll start with the location. Just of the main road and close to shops etc. Reception: The lady was wonderful and helpful. The room: Was comfortable and had everything we need. Look at the price. It’s not new, a little outdated but well worth it. We just wanted a bed and hot shower overnight. Perfect. The linen was clean. Car park secure and outside the front door.

This is our second stay. Best motel. Quiet area and beautiful view to the golf course. Tranquil. Bistro at the Golf Club is great, food was fantastic✨✨ I would stay again no hesitation. Highly recommend.

So glad to greet the new day. We were put in a room that smelled like a cleaning supply closet. It was so overwhelming my husband put the chain on the door and wedged it open to get fresh air in the room all night. We still awoke with headaches and stuffy sinuses. The bed, while not old, still needs a mattress topper added as the feeling of springs underneath is less than comfy. Nevertheless, the room was very clean. For a facility that doesn't allow dogs in rooms, it was interesting to hear two different dogs barking in rooms down the interior hallway.

We stayed one night in Twin Room. It was a good size, clean, well maintained and appointed, with all the facilities for some basic self-catering. The bed was comfortable. It was very quiet. The motel was easy to locate and access and readily located. It was only a 5 to 10 minute walk to most areas of the shopping areas of Albury and restaurants, cafes and fast food outlets.

Everything is good except that the body wash, shampoo did not top up. In the end, all family just use water to rinse our body as the reception already closed

A no nonsense motel, clean and comfortable beds, part of a the hotel and bar, good food, pleasant staff. I think most of the rooms had a bath! Very close to the Lavington Centre and other outlets. Good for one or two nights

I stayed at the Albury Paddle steamer for the national Dragon boat championships. a lot of the teams stayed there and they were fully booked. despite them being busy the service staff did an amazing job, every night we came home the room was cleaned, restocked even the biscuits. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, the location is fantastic and very close to so many tourist attractions. I'd absolutely recommend this motel to anyone and will definitely stay there again.

What can you say about a room that cost your company not more than $100 for the night. Bed was very comfortable and the TV is huge. Only problem is that this place could do with some new furniture and a good deep clean. The window furniture is old and torn and falling apart and the room I had also included a lounge that you wouldn’t sit on, two single beds (no idea why) and a table with 2 chairs. Breakfast is cereal or toast with bread available from reception if required. Overall a reasonable stay for one night away from home on business.

The receptionist was under training, so had to be guided through the usual check-in procedures, which did not allow for a great deal of informal interaction. However, the welcome was pleasant. The room was large and well furnished, including table and chairs and a large, very comfortable bed. Finding the light switches was a bit of a mission. Had a separate kitchenette with a wonderful selection of complimentary beverages and plenty of kitchenware to enable one to create one’s own snack or meal. Great large bathroom which contained a shower with exceptional water pressure. Spoilt only by the lack of the provisioning of face cloths (which appears to be a common Australian trait in the hospitality industry).

The stay was close to the Commercial club and near the centre of Albury. I enjoyed the stay & will consider this as a place to enjoy when I next visit Albury.

It is called Gosford Inn motel but it is $16 by uner to Gosford. Please indicate this on the site. Unless you drive you can't go to shops, clubs or pubs. There is nothing there. Nice clean motel if you're after a bed and hot shower. The manager is helpful and friendly. The place is well setup. The cleaners do a good job and are easy to talk with. It was the wrong place for me. Please update your site to specify the location from shops etc

I arrived Saturday for a one night stay to attend a wedding. Checkin was seamless and I was able to use my NSW voucher which made the room only $55 for a Saturday Night! What?!? Such a bargain. The lady that checked me in (Elenore?) was very friendly and easy to talk to. My room was number 19, which is the second floor. The room was perfect, far better than other places I’ve stayed around the world. Bed was comfy and clean, bathroom was spotless and the kitchenette was great and not expected for the price (kettle, toaster, bar fridge (with water jug, little mills), microwave and tea / coffee. 2 plates, 2 bowls, cutlery, glasses and tea towel. I had some issues with road noise, but I’m a super light sleeper, I ended up sleeping with the AC on for abit of white noise. The bathroom has been half renovated - new shower and vanity. But old original floor tiles and shower taps. They still worked fine. But the shower door was abit on the narrow side, so if you are a little on the podgy side you may need to “suck it in” to get in the shower. The floor of the room was all tiles, which creates abit of noise when moving furniture but I never heard another guest and it was fully booked. The only thing I can think of that MIGHT be a major issue is if you have a large car, the parking spaces are narrow and short. I thankfully have a small car, but I’m also short so can’t see the end of the bonnet so it was abit tricky when I left. I hope I have some other events to attend on the central coast so I can stay again. It is the perfect location, a quick shoot over the back of Kariong Hill to get to Woy Woy. Down the hill to Gosford and Terrigal or back along the highway to the northern parts of the central coast. Thanks again :)

This is a great quirky stay. If it weren’t for the things I list below it would be 5 stars but can’t look past this place is overpriced because of its unique experience. Before going into the serious misgivings of this property, one must read this to understand they market the family rooms as having a “full” kitchen . THEY DO NOT HAVE A FULL KITCHEN…. There is no oven 1. It is one of the hottest parts of summer here and we couldn’t use the pool. The ladder was broken with very unsafe sharp plastic that could cause some serious harm. I advised the manager who at first didn’t want to even entertain my friendly smiling visit by not looking up from His computer and at first denying it was broken until I mentioned The hazard to people with the sharp plastic causing injury, only then did I get a raise of an eye and say he would get into it. Well left today and not address and pool Open to one and all to severely cut themselves 2. Spa is just a concrete box with water and some bubbles. There are no seats in spa and to enjoy it as a spa you would need to stand up in it 3. Newly renovated family rooms . Our shower door could barely open . Then the water ran all over the bathroom floor and not draining well as the drain had not been properly placed 4. Don’t shower at the same time as someone in an ajoining room as you loose ALL hot water 5. Quite a few cockroaches both big and German . I’m saying that cockroaches in many places but how about a proper Spray or provide insect killer 6. Bedroom ceiling fans would be very useful instead of having to keep Air con on to keep rooms cool during the night. Overall the experience was great. I completely understand people not liking those jobs but perhaps Peter as manager should seek another more appropriate job to his liking . Every interaction be it Email, phone and in person was met with disinterest and hostility . We would return but at a much better price point to reflect the above things mentioned . Note it is stair access only. There is a lift but only operated by staff and staff not always around The accommodation area is able to be accessed by all sorts visiting other areas of the complex so keep doors Locked and kept Safe The general access areas need a good clean Access to the beach is a short walk Accross the road The stair access to our room was incredibly unsafe at night with no lighting and loads of dusty handrails . This could again certainly lead to serious injury

Lovely stay at the Terrigal Pacific Coastal Retreat. Great front-of-house staff, very friendly and accommodating. The staff has good knowledge of the area The room was clean and spacious, we didn't use all the appliances but what we did use worked fine. The pool was a nice temperature and clean. Had a really enjoyable stay, and would high recommend this hotel as its location is also just a short walk into Terrigal for Breakfast/Lunch or Dinner.

I stayed here for 2 nights by myself while my husband was having major surgery at nearby North Gosford Private Hospital. Staff were very pleasant and helpful; my room was clean and comfortable. The bed was very soft and the pillows great! The toilet didn't flush that well though. It was great to have a microwave to heat up food. Small but handy shopping centre across the road. I enjoyed my breakfast on both mornings, one at a nearby cafe and one onsite. Enjoyable stay.

On arrival I was greeted by a young man, Connor who went above and beyond. The Ashwood Motel is associated with the Gosford RSL across the road and Connor stated that if I have Veterans Card I'm entitled a discounted room rate of 15% which he applied straight away, and then I was offered a complimentary membership to the club which would give me 10% food and beverages The rooms were great and I liked having a supply of crockery and cutlery, the bed was super comfy. The only small complaint I had was the guest laundry, which required tokens from the reception and they had no detergent available either. Also if you are coming from the East it's bit of a nightmare trying to get into the driveway.

Stayed here during a last minute business trip. Rooms are simply furnished but very clean and comfortable, all you'd need for a night or two. The microwave oven in the room was a nice touch although it wasn't needed this trip. Rear door access, heating and cooling were good, and the bed was clean and comfortable. Quiet too, despite being only a little back from the main road. Check in was friendly and easy. The car park could be a little tight if you have a large 4WD, but it just means taking a little extra care, nothing that would prevent anyone with a large car parking there. Would definitely stay again.

My family and I arrived in the hotel very late around 10pm, the hotel already prepared the room for us and we only spent few mins for check-in. Everything was smooth. The hotel clean is huge, clean and quiet. Highly recommended for road-trip.
