OK for one night. The hotel is above the pub, which is also very busy in the afternoon. There is also live music there on Sundays until around 9 p.m. Everything is perfectly fine, unless you have room 10 next to the washing machine/dryer and sleep next to the ventilation. Even though drying and washing is not allowed after 9 p.m., it was very annoying. The hotel rooms face the back, so in the morning you also have the noise from the loading area of ​​the supermarket. On the positive side, the room was in a modern condition and the staff were all very nice. The beach is a ten-minute walk away.

We booked Marco Polo Motor Inn for 3 nights. The room was very clean and looked like it had been recently refurbished. Queen bed was very comfortable. There was also a 3 seater sofa. Towels were changed daily. TV channels worked fine. Aircon was cold without strange smells. There was a microwave, kettle, plates n bowls, cutlery,, cups n glasses. A mini fridge with freezer and even a cute single slice toaster! Coffee, tea bags n hot chocolate were provided. Parking was secure and ample. Will definitely be back if driving from Gold Coast to Sydney again. It is also walking distance to the train station. A great find! Signage was Marco Polo Motel though and we were slightly confused by it. Reception was great, friendly and helpful.

Hotel is walking distance to the beach, plaza, children park. But it’s very old and needs urgent renovation. The room was spacious, clean and beds were fine. The bathroom was clean but have very old fittings. Shower taps were very hard to turn on, knobs were falling off in doing so and took us a while to operate and when we managed to turn that in, it started making very loud noise. Bath tub is small. Some of the ceiling cornice were falling off from the bathroom. There wasn’t any microwave in the room, bar refrigerator is an old model frost ones, the hairdryer was an ancient one, making loud noise and the other side of the hairdryer was broken. It was a bit unsafe to use. No tissue box, bin was available either.

What a little gem. We had a friends catch up and stayed here. It's so close to everything. 1 block from the Palm beach ferry, 2 blocks from Ettalong shopping centre. The room was clean and tidy with the usual inclusions of microwave toaster jug, tea and coffee. The beds were very comfortable and the linen was good quality with several pillows so you can choose the one that's right for you. The bathroom is a bit old fashioned, however the shower had plenty of hot water.The accommodation is within the Galleria, a Greek / Italian inspired complex hosting lots of small shops, boutiques, restaurants, galleries, beautiful nick nacks and treasures, cafes and even a hat shop. The complex has it's own movie cinema. After booking in we went to bar Toto. Very fitting with the theme of a bygone era. Comfy old style lounge chairs, dimly lit, old movies on the big screen and great cocktails, however there are several other options if this isn't your scene. We chose to have breakfast at one of the cafe's within the complex. Very good crepes and coffee, then spent some time looking at the many and varied shops. Eric's hat shop is a must. He is so knowledgeable and friendly. He can explain the process of making hats and show you some of the tools used to make hats. It was so much fun trying on hats and taking photos. We grabbed lunch, pizzas and noodles which were both very good, and sat enjoying the live music in the centre of the complex. If you feel like a stroll, there's a concrete walking path along the waterfront from the ferry to Umina. Once you have parked your car, you really don't need to start it again until you are leaving. Enjoy.

This is a motel hotel. It is clean and has a double bed. However, the freezer door in the refrigerator is broken. It is not cleaned every day. The service attitude is good. There was a short circuit when cooking in the room. The management staff solved it immediately without criticism. The biggest advantage is that it is cheap and close to the town train station, but it is more than 90 kilometers away from Canberra, so travel efficiency is not high. Generally tourists to Canberra should rarely stay at this hotel. The reason why I stayed here was because I couldn't find a hotel with a suitable price in Canberra.

We messaged the hotel in advance about our late arrival, and they assured us it wouldn’t be a problem—just ring the bell at reception. When we arrived, there was no need to ring; we were met by a woman and an elderly man, presumably the owners. The hotel had already charged us before check-in, but for some reason, they insisted on seeing the same card again. They wanted to charge an extra $1 without explaining why. When the payment failed for some reason, the old man literally tossed the card back at us, muttering something in his thick, unintelligible Aussie accent. The woman tried to smooth things over, asked for a different card (which worked fine), and even asked if we wanted dinner. But the guy had already ruined the vibe; we immediately went into ”defensive mode” rather than ”vacation mode.” The room was nothing special—forgettable and plain. We disliked it more than we liked it. To make matters worse, it was the most expensive stay on our entire road trip from Cairns to Melbourne. Interestingly, the know.travel description for this place hinted at the ”unique” service style of the owners—now I see exactly what they were warning about. They’re clearly capitalizing on the lack of competition in the area. In the morning, we discovered a shared kitchen in pretty sad condition, which no one even bothered to mention when we checked in.

10 stars! Best accommodation in blue mountain! Even better, it’s close with the town! I would love to come back again and stay at this place. Totally amazing!

The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance of the Echo Lookout Point and offering beautiful views of the surrounding area. Unfortunately, due to rainy and cloudy weather during our stay, we were unable to fully enjoy the sunrise and sunset views. I arrived after the front desk had closed, but the hotel had thoughtfully arranged a smooth self-check-in process, which was very convenient. One issue occurred after dinner when we returned to our room and discovered that the bathroom door was locked and could not be opened. We used the assistance button near the hotel entrance to contact the night support operator. She was very helpful and kindly provided us with a spare room key so we could use another bathroom while the issue was being resolved. We continued trying different methods to unlock the bathroom door and eventually succeeded by using a sharp object in the keyhole mechanism. Thankfully , we managed to open it ourselves; otherwise, we would have had to walk across to the opposite room to use the bathroom in the cold weather. Despite this unexpected inconvenience, I appreciate the prompt assistance provided by the night support staff. The excellent location and responsive service made the stay a generally positive experience. UVUV

The people were lovely & helpful. The beds were comfortable & clean. The rest was ordinary to potentially dangerous. We were in room 1 with a disabled bathroom. The room looks old & in need of a refurb. Curtains were only half hooked up, broken. The yellow colour of the room was a bit ordinary. Bathroom needs an update or cracked tiles replaced. The power point in the bathroom had a black scorched mark like it had blown. The bedside lamp only worked if we wiggled the cord. I think the manager/owner family lives in the units above as we could hear what sounded like kids, running around till about 10pm.  Probably wouldn’t stay there again but like I said, beds were clean & comfortable.  Was going to mention all of the above when we checked out at 9am but the office was closed.
