The hotel is clean, quiet and very easy to access from the freeway. I'm not a fan of continental breakfast, but there was a lot of options for those who are. There are quite a few restaurants close by for breakfast, and I found one with no problems. Check in/out was quick and easy and staff were really friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Paradox has so far been the best hospitality and service experience we've had in years. Right from reception, room service to valet. They're friendly, extremely helpful, there are details that you'd never think of heated floors in the bathroom, filtered floral air in the washroom. Right in the middle of downtown, everything is within walking distance, the rooms are absolutely an oasis in the middle of a metropolis. Stay here!

When we checked into the Ramada by Wyndham Coquitlam, the front desk clerk did not tell us that we would have to go outside, through the parking lot to get to the indoor pool. She also did not tell us we would have to go to the front desk to get towels for the pool. We had to ask another guest how to find the pool, we went there, only to have to return to the front desk to get our towels. She should have asked if we were going to use the pool, tell us where it is, and give us the towels as we were registering. We found out from other guests instead. Once we got to the pool, we found that the hotel had rented out the pool to a learn to swim class of a half dozen screeching, screaming 'tweenagers' who splashed constantly. The pool itself had such a hot temperature, it was anything but refreshing and definitely not relaxing with all that noise echoing in the pool room. Our room was on the first floor and the hallway from the front desk of this 'non-smoking hotel' was extremely smokey. I am allergic to smoke and this made it very uncomfortable for me. My daughter suggested that the staff 'outside smoking area' is likely near the clean air intake for the air conditioning system. That needs to be changed! I would not recommend to people to stay at this hotel at all.

We stayed in this property for just one night before our Alaska cruise. The location is it's USP and we actually walked down to Canada Place to board our cruise. The rooms are spacious and bright and there is complimentary coffee available in the reception. Eateries are all around and the Pacific Mall is within walking distance. We had a very comfortable stay!

What I can say is the location was so perfect for us. The transportation just 2mins walk from the bus stop,10mins drive to downtown and malls is only 5mins walk from this hotel. But 2 things that makes me disappointed, first is on our first night in the middle of the night the air conditioner became to noisy the noise was so annoying at first we ignored it because we’re in the middle night and we’re sleeping, but the noise of the AC doesn’t stop and it became to loud so we need turn it off. Since its in the middle of the night we just ignore it and we go back to sleep since the temperature of our room is still cold. So in the morning we reported it in the front desk about the AC to check the AC of our room. But the front desk wasn’t sure if can be fix on that day so he suggest to give us a stand fan. Since we got no choice we agreed for his suggestion for the stand fan because we have to leave the hotel and go somewhere. We came back late night like 10pm. We saw the stand fan but we did now turn on yet, we try to turn on the AC if its fix and no more noise. Like 1-2hrs the AC is ok its normal, but when we’re about to go to bed and sleep the AC begun rattling and too noisy. So we need to turn it off the AC. So 2nd thing is the stand fan we got no choice so we turn it on the stand fan but sadly the fan takes 10-20mins to start the fan and when fan started is too noisy just like the AC. So in our 2nights when dont have a good sleep. 😂 But all in all the cleanliness of the room was excellent except the trouble of AC and Stand Fan 🤣🤣🤣

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Riverside Inn and it was an exceptional experience. Our stay started off really well. Front desk staff were very friendly and let us check in early. I went to have a shower before going to the concert we were in town for and found that the tub drain was plugged and the tub not draining. I had received a txt earlier ask how the room use and to text if we need anything. So I text that the tub was are draining. I did not get a response and left the room to go out. We thought we would come back the drain being unplugged but instead came back to nothing done. We went to the front desk to ask for a plunger to try and fix ourselves as it had been 7 hours and still no response. We tried to plug the drain but it did not help. When we returned the plunger the front desk person offered us another room but being in out pj’s and it after midnight we stayed in the room. They said maintenance would be back at 7am. We went to check out at 11, still no response to txt and no maintenance person to fix tub. The desk person apologized and offered us breakfast vouchers for the restaurant. We went to the restaurant but they would only give us bacon or sausage and eggs. Being vegan and vegetarian that was not going to work. The restaurant said they could not offer anything else. We went back to the front desk and the manager wouldn’t allow the front desk person to do anything else for unless we wanted McDonald’s. Looking forward to getting home tonight to shower.

This is such a fun hotel! It’s near some busy roads, a mall, and a bunch of restaurants and such, which I guess is nice, but it’s pretty noisy and you’re not going to get a great view from your room or anything. BUT! Where to start? The rooms are clean. My kids and I loved the comic book, stickers, yo-yo, and rotary phone in our room. The hot tub is a little small, but guess what? You can soak in it and keep an eye on your kiddos as they enjoy the indoor/outdoor pool and water slide! Inside the lobby, you can find myriad board games, ping pong, “bowling,” Wii, and even old school typewriters in which you can pluck out that novel you’ve been keeping in the back of your head. The lobby Coffee is better than any in-room coffee another hotel might offer. And speaking of the lobby, the staff here is 110%! I got what I thought was an automated text asking how my state was so far. I said “meh” because we had just checked in and I wasn’t impressed with the area. I got a response from a real person right away!She provided answers to my questions and concerns and even delivered earplugs and silverware and cups to my room later when I needed them! When I was teaching my kiddo how to use a typewriter, the front desk staff didn’t hover over us or anything, just let us do our thing. Last, the little restaurant (open for breakfast and lunch) has a killer breakfast menu and such friendly staff!

Extremely well set up. Everything organized and room was excellent. Helena clearly took greate pride in her work. It is always great when you show up at a location and everything is in place without any concerns. Will certainly stay here again.

The location was good, not core Downtown. Staff was pleasant. Easy check in and check out. Room was clean, with enough towels and toiletries. Fridge was empty, no complimentary water - I later realised this is a Vancouver thing. There is a restaurant by the lobby, where you'll get a 10% discount only if you show your key and you are eating in. The ambience was good, lovely staff especially YuHi. The food was amazing, never had mashed potatoes that much before 😂.
