Very suitable for business trips, good location and convenient to go anywhere. The room was clean and tidy.
The water is very clean, it is rare in Santo Domingo, and many hotels are not clean enough.
Sound insulation is good, relatively quiet, rare in Dominican, there are many hotels are very noisy.

1. Rook 316. Air conditioner not working. Remote screen broken and cannot see control panel. Couldn't change to another room as hotel was full. Had to sleep in room with fan only.
2. Fan didn't seem to work at first but staff managed to repair it. Working fan made loud noises.
3. No mirror in room.
4. One window faces inside of the house corridor the 2nd window is in toilet facing the outside.

1. Both staff at reception very friendly especially the night shift guy who helped to solve the air con and fan problem. Both are good in english.
2. TV has a few channels in English.
3. There is lift and room has the basic amenities.
4. Location is superb and a good local restaurant nearby.

My colleague and I extended our stay here twice, for a total of 6 nights. The location is very good, close to Serena, Bluemall, and ágora mall. The service staff is the most worthy of praise. One night I took the packed fried rice to the front desk to heat it up for me. A tall staff member helped me take it to the restaurant to heat it up, and also took the spoon and knife and fork. Every staff member served with a smile. The hotel room is very new and very quiet (although there is a road downstairs, it is very soundproof and quiet), the breakfast is delicious, the environment is beautiful, there is a brand new gym, and there is a rooftop swimming pool. Lying there and watching the beautiful sunset and stars is indeed an unforgettable memory. I will stay here when I come to Santo Domingo on business in the future. In addition, there is a Chinese restaurant 100 meters away, which is perfect.

I really loved my stay at this place! The service was 10/10, the food was 10/10, the cleanliness was 10/10, the room service was 10/10, they are very attentive to what the guest wants and they act quickly to their wishes…and it is super well located near restaurants, fast foods, malls and supermarkets…so you couldn't ask for more…100/100 recommended this hotel 💪

The hotel looks nice. But it's right next to the main local road, and the noise in the sea view room is so loud 24 hours a day that it's hard to sleep without earplugs. The front desk is not efficient and the processing time is very long. The waiter in the breakfast room had a very bad attitude. It is not convenient to eat and shop around. The distance is a bit far.

Brand new hotel with modern, confortable rooms and stylish decoration throughout. Lovely pool and rooftop area. Nice service. Free parking. Good breakfast. Excellent value. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay her again if back in Santo Domingo!

The breakfast was really good and delicious. The staff was very friendly just I wrote them in order to change the room but they didnt reply me so I advice they check the messages and reply timely. The bedroom with 1 queen bed was really nice. They didnt have many options for 2 twin beds altought it was clean. AC works very good. Is really well located in downtown area, there are several restaurants and bars just by walking distance.

The environment, location, service, and facilities are great. The garden has the feel of a tropical rainforest. The hotel itself has a long history. It is convenient for shopping and dining nearby. There were any political events on the day of check-in. The president was here. I will recommend it to my friends and I will do it again next time. Will choose this one.

GGuest UserI had stayed here before the pandemic about 3 times. The property is very clean, it is located in the older ”colonial” part of the city. Traffic in this area is a nightmare due to the narrow streets. SAFE area, police presence all over.
The GOOD: Clean, Safe, Staff Friendly, plenty of places nearby to eat. Breakfast supplied is ample and of decent quality, food for linch or dinner in the hotel restaurant is good though limited menu, space for seating is very limited inside the restaurant, water pressure in the shower is excellent the room safe is large. The BAD: Room Small like an IBIS, Bathroom smaller than an IBIS, A/C in my room was ”marginal” at best and previous stays here noticed this, Elevator very slow, the worst part this is not a business hotel. While the Internet provided is decent, there is NO work space available at all in the rooms. NO electrical outlets available all are hidden behind furniture or the bed and no desk type area. Had to charge my phone in the bathroom outlet and use computer on battery. Also had a room phone and minor toilet issue which I reported twice and nothing was done. DO NOT have the hotel arrange for the hotel taxi to drive you to the airport cost is $50.oo ! Make your own arrangements or get an UBER. CONCLUSION: While on vacation for a couple of days this is a Nice place to stay and see the colonial sights and enjoy the atmosphere. However, ”on business” this is not the place to stay. I will be returning on business for a longer stay in late January or early February, unfortunately I will have to stay elsewhere.

GGuest UserObjectively speaking, I don't recommend it. There is a casino downstairs, which is quite noisy. There is indeed no hot water for showering, and the facilities are relatively old. However, the swimming pool is very beautiful, and the burgers made by the restaurant in the swimming pool are also very delicious. If you bring children, I don't recommend staying here.

GGuest UserThe hotel's soundproofing is average. Living on the fifth floor, you can hear people talking loudly downstairs. The internet is poor, and what's uncomfortable is that the charging plug is not at the bedside! ! ! But the hotel's breakfast is great, with everything you need. I hope the room facilities can be improved, as they are a bit too old.

The deluxe bed booked this time, the front desk service is very warm, and the scenery outside the window is the most attractive to us. It is beautiful. KkaryisamermaidThe hotel is now called casa colonial, it is extremely well located! Nearby the conde street and beautiful alleys, there is a big church across the street and a cozy cafe. The hosts were very nice, they make your breakfast and customize it according to your preferences, they serve nice coffee with it or juice as well. The hotel inside is an old colonial house, it has rooftop areas, green areas and a pool, each part of it looks very romantic. The rooms are nice, some are small and others are bigger but you feel you’re in another time zone. Will definitely go back!

LLeopoldI have no complaints. My stay was well pleasurable. I would like to, however give special thanks to Wesley at the front desk, he was very courteous and accommodating, especially that he speaks English well, we were able to communicate with ease and also the cleaning staff who always have a warm and pleasant look on their faces. One in particular name Molin.
