We had an excellent stay at this hotel recently. This was only our second visit to Poznan but having read the reviews we were really looking forward to staying at the property. We stayed on the 3rd floor in what was like a suite. Very spacious indeed and comfortably furnished. There was a double bed and a double sofa bed, both were an excellent size. Have to say that the sofa bed was pretty uncomfortable and I think an adult may find it difficult to sleep on. The bathroom was big and finished to a good standard, clean and tidy. The breakfast at the hotel is very good. There’s decent section of food both hot and cold including meats, pancakes, cereals, yoghurts plus much more. Breakfast takes place in the bar area that is open some nights. At the point we were there is was open on Saturday, closed Sunday/Monday/Tuesday, open Wednesday. It’s a very nice looking area in the evening, well laid out with soft lighting but we didn’t get chance to spend any time in there due to our itinerary. The hotel is in an excellent location and a 10 minute stroll to the main square, very well placed. All in all I’d give it a 5 star rating - so why only 4 star? Well I was a bit annoyed with he person who seemed to be in charge of the reception area. When we checked in we noticed that as standard the hotel only offers one small flat pillow per person. That for me would mean a pretty uncomfortable stay so I nipped down to reception shortly after we’d checked in to request a couple more pillows. We were met with an abrupt “no, we don’t have any available and we won’t for at least another 2 nights”. This was said in front of other members of hotel staff and he seemed quite unprofessional based on my experience in other Polish hotels by comparison. At the least, for such a basic comfort request I’d have expected a “sorry no but we’ll try and get you some as soon as we can which may take a day or two” - for front of house customer service his attitude could do with being polished up a bit. I did send the hotel an email that evening re the request but they didn’t offer the courtesy of a response which was strange given I’d communicated on several occasions prior to my arrival and they’d always been prompt and polite in their response. Ironically, the following morning I asked the house keeping lady if there was any pillows available. “No problem” she replied and when we arrived back at our room later in the evening she’d provided us with more than enough pillows. She was really great and it was much appreciated. All that being said - Would I return, yes and I would recommend the hotel. It’s comfortable, with nice rooms, a great breakfast and an excellent location in a fantastic city.
Hotel Mercure Poznan Centrum

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights/6 days while on a business trip in Poznan, Poland. This is an aesthetically beautiful hotel. The hotel staff doesn’t speak much, perhaps because I am an English speaker, but they do smile back at you. The hotel looks and smells clean. The room is a good size. My room had 2 twin sized beds. I had never encountered twin sized beds in a hotel before; I typically have between full size to king size beds in my hotel room so this was different. The hotel offers a wonderful breakfast in the mornings, and there is a restaurant and cafe in the hotel also. If traveling from another country to Poland to stay at this hotel, be sure to confirm if you need to get a separate AC Adapter. This hotel does not offer loaner AC Adapters. I had to find a store that sold the type of adapter that I needed. There are no toiletries other than hand soap, body wash, and shampoo. There are no toothpaste or toothbrush, etc. available. There is no ironing board or iron in the room. There are also no washcloths available. Note that there is a safe and a refrigerator in the room. The refrigerator does not get very cold at all. I actually thought it was not working and called the receptionist to have it looked at. The maintenance person came to check it and informed that the refrigerator is intended to cool drinks only and is not intended to hold for example, leftover food, etc. for more than 24 hours. This was a huge disappointment as I had a take out container of food that I was trying to save for the next day. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was peaceful and although small, the bed was very comfortable. I also really enjoyed the variety of options for breakfast.

Mi sono fermato qui diverse volte in questi anni, l'hotel è facilmente accessibile con un parcheggio lineare difronte all'entrata , un ristorante sopra la media dei ristoranti di cui sono dotati gli Hotel di questa categoria, la colazione offre prodotti di buona qualità, il petsonale è preparato e normalmente gentile. Da non dimenticare il servizio Sauna che puoi riservare per 1 ora gratuitamente. L'Hotel è in una zona periferica ma per chi viaggia in auto e cerca soprattutto servizio e tranquillità questa è una buona soluzione. Tonino

Just love the Moxy chain of hotels - this one included. Stopped here as right next to Poznan airport and I'm a sucker for convenience. A one minute (not even) walk from the airport terminal although obviously quite some way out of town but Uber will take you there for little money. Friendly staff and comfortable accommodation in the typical Moxy slightly mad cap way - love it.

Great location for this hotel, a very short walk to the square. Extremely clean. Wonderful coffee machine downstairs with hot coffee and a good selection. Also tea and water available. The pillows and duvets on the bed eye extremely comfortable. A complimentary bottle of fizzy and still water in the bedroom. Large towels and am amazing shower with super nice smelling toiletries. Umbrellas in the foyer to use if raining outside.
Sheraton Poznan Hotel

Dzien dobry. pierwszy raz gościłam się w Sheratonie poznańskim. Zastanawiam się jak to jest możliwe żeby w hotelu 5 gwiazdkowym możn dać do dyzpozycji pokoj z piękniętą conajmiej do połowy klapą klozetową i znieotwierającym się efektywnie koszem na śmieci w łazience a to nie są wysokie koszta aby to naprawić i dopatrzyć zanim się zaproponuje klijentowi taki pokój w 5-cio gwiazdkowym hotelu. To niegodne 5 gwiazdek ale nawyzej 4 albo tylko 3. Poza tym wynajęlam łożko King size a mialam niestety pokoò z dwoma malymi łożkami. Ale byłam zbyt zmęczona zeby zjeść na recepcję i zamieniac w srodku nocy. Jeszcze jedno chcialabym dorzucić wzięto ode mnie około 48-50 € przed wejściem do pokoju mimo ze pokoj byl opłacony i po wyjeździe miało być zwrócone i przelane na npwo na konto. Chyba nie 2 kapsułki kawy expresso i 2 torebki herbaty ktore zużyłam kosztowały 50 euros ! Może wzieto mnie za odpowiedzialną za zepsucie deski klozetowej !? Pezecież nie będę robić zdjeć o północy przy wejściu do pokoju jako dowód ze to nie ja zrobiłam tylko że tak zastałam wchodząc do ppkoju. Poza tym zamowiłam budzenie i nikt nie zadzwonił jak było umówione. Osoba z recepcji ktrorą porosiłam o wytłumaczenie drogi na dworzec wczesnym rankiem zrobiła to nietaktownie biroąc mnie za *****kę ktora nic nie rozumie lecz po 4 godzinach snu,długiej podroży i całym tygodniu pracy może nie za pierwszym razem wszytko jest jasne.... Z tego co wymieniłam powyżej niestety nie czułam się gpszczona w hotelu pięciogwiazdkowym. Dużo jeżdżę po świecie i Sheraton poznaski w obsłudze i wyposażeniu odbiega od standartow innych hoteli 5gwiazdkowych na innych kontynetach. Przykro mi ale już nie będę gościła więcej w panstwa hotelu i nie zrobię dobrej reklamy. Pozdrawiam

Ich war nun zum dritte Mal hier. Es hat sich in den Jahren nichts geändert - und das meine ich positiv. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig und sauber und das Frühstück ist vielfältig und ausreichend. Durchlass bis zu den Zimmern nur mit passender Chipkarte. Pkw Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden. Gegen Abend gibt es genügend Möglichkeiten vor Ort zu speisen oder was zu trinken. 😃👍

Omg! So much great energy! Great team and amazing bar with great food! I was really surprised of that place! When I will back to Poznań I will choose this hotel again! I do not want stay in any Sheraton or Hampton - they are the same everywhere, but this one is absolutely wonderful! Please, take the rooms on the highest floor! The view - especially during the sunsets and sunrises are amazing!

One night stay in Poznań. Hotel in a quiet part of the city opposite the Zoo. Check in was efficient although no mention of WUDI (no detail in room) room was a good size, very clean. Nicely decorated both in room and rest of hotel. Windows that properly open for ventilation. I was next to the lift but wasn’t disturbed. Those that prefer a powerful shower may be disappointed. Also be aware there is construction in a neighbouring building which started quite early, other than that no noise. This was a good priced stay I’ve I’d I use again when back in the city.
Focus Hotel Poznań

I checked into the Hotel Focus in April 2020 at the start of the coronovirus emergency, and ended up staying there for nine months! It was absolutely great. The staff are truly fantastic (helpful, friendly and caring). The rooms are delightfully designed and well appointed, and this modern medium-size hotel is perfectly located. The tram line is at your doorstep, Posnania Shopping Mall is a 10-minute walk, and so is the Polytechnic. The city centre is 7 minutes by tram. The room I lived in was so beautiful that it looked out on a nice woodland park, so I slept to the sounds of nightingales singing in spring and early summer! The breakfast was delicious, and I especially liked the homemade cheese and the bread selection (baked daily on site). I have stayed in so many hotels all around the world, but none as clean as the Hotel Focus. The housekeeping staff are incredible. They keep the place literally spotless. This hotel really sets the standards in many ways. In a nutshell, this hotel (without any exaggeration) deserves seven or eight stars easily. You will have a very pleasant stay there. Thank you Marek (the manager), the reception staff, and everyone at the Hotel Focus. You really made my stay very enjoyable. I can't wait to stay with you again.
