My husband and I, with our two teenage children stayed at Life Hotel as a result of a long transit. It cost us 20euro from the airport to get to the hotel. We arrived and had a warm welcome from reception staff. Check in was seamless. The room was compact but sufficient for our needs. The bed was comfortable and the room was generally very clean. Please note that this is a room for a short stay. It’s not ideal for a long stay or for holiday purposes.

At the time of our visit this was a recent addition to the chain. The hotel is a level walk from the railway station and located next to a park. We stayed on a Sunday evening and there was some confusion about where to go for the evening meal. Reception said restaurant wass closed and there would be a buffet next to conference area. There wasn't and eventually a very good meal was served in the restaurant. Teething trouble springs to mind. This didn't mar an enjoyable overnight stay on our journey from Venice to Budapest. This hotel was a pleasant surprise. The outside is nothing special, but inside is spacious with a large spiral staircase and very large rooms. We had room 106 that was very large by Austria standards (even by US standards) and was decorated nicely with simple country-style decor. The room was very clean, not smoky and had a large, clean bathroom with nice touches. The TV in the room had CNN so we were able to catch up on some news. Staff was friendly and spoke English well. The location was not too close to the sights in Krems (15-20min walk), but the hotel is on a nice street with plenty of parking. Finally, the breakfast was by far the best we had in our 2 weeks in Austria. They had 2 long tables filled with meats, cheeses, breads, spreads, veggies, fruit, cereal, and they also had a variety of juices to choose from as well as coffee and tea. The breakfast room was also very sweetly decorated. The breakfast was above and beyond and I was extrememly impressed!

This hotel is only a 6 minute walk to the tram line which leaves you right in the centre. The self check in was easy and handy for us as we arrived late at night. The staff were very friendly. Clean room. Great shower!! Only complaint is the door of the bathroom which is also the door for the shower. Exceeded my expectations for a budget hotel!

It’s not near the airport, it’s 15 minutes away by car and has no transfer service, so it’s 29 euros per taxi trip, 58 in total. It’s in the middle of nowhere near a gas station and dinner options and breakfast are very expensive. On top of that the WiFi hasn’t worked so no option to work, not even check email. I don’t understand the good reviews, I’m really puzzled. The room is clean and the dinner and breakfast were good at least, hence the two stars. But if you add both taxi trips to the price, you might do better at an hotel next to the airport since it might end up being the same price.

Im Rahmen unserer Motorrad Reise haben wir eine Nacht in Melk verbracht. Wir hatten vorher angerufen und das Zimmer telefonisch reserviert. Bei der Ankunft wurden wir bereits vor dem Haus empfangen und an den Parkplatz gelotst. Ein sehr herzlicher Empfang, man hat sich gleich wohl gefühlt. Wir hatten 2 Einzelzimmer, die sind wie in fast allen Hotels klein und vom Platz etwas beengt. ( ist auch nachvollziehbar) Mit den Motorrad Klamotten nicht immer einfach 😂😂 Abends lief das EM Spiel Österreich gegen ….. auf dem Marktplatz. Ein tolles Event mitten in Melk. Beim Italiener ums Eck haben wir sehr gut gegessen. Das Angebot in der Nähe des Hostel ist wirklich groß. Wir haben sehr gut geschlafen und gefrühstückt. Sind wir in der Gegend werden wir auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Wirklich empfehlenswert

Nice business hotel in walking distance from the train station with direct trains to Vienna, Vienna Airport or Linz. Quiet and clean. However, Wifi is very weak. Quite annoying if you are dependent on a stable wifi supply.

Das Hotel sieht sehr gut aus. Es befindet sich in der Nähe vom SCS, doch um in die Stadt zu kommen benötigt man einwenig Geduld. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber gehalten und an Ausstattung fehlt nichts. Der Weg zum Wellnessbereich ist wie ein Labyrinth, doch hat man diesen erstmal überquert, so kann man sich auf was gefasst machen. Angenehm warmer Pool sowohl draußen, als auch drinnen, ein Dampfbadraum, eine Sauna und ein Kältebecken erwarten einen hier. Ein kleiner Fitnessraum ist ebenso zu finden.
