首先是服務人員的熱情周到，態度和藹可親！把注意事項告知，酒店乾淨衞生，自己動手還被套，洗澡的衞生間特別乾淨宿舍，每個客人都很自覺，儘量控制自己不打擾別人，真是贊！

Exceeded expections on all grounds! I am so happy with the hotel I wanted to spread the word. This hotel has great old world charm and more. I was a little worried about the condition of the hotel (more than 100 years old!) but everything was fine. I stayed at the Main Wing / basic room with park view. The bathroom was basic (business hotel like) but very clean, but the room / bedding and the view at our window was wonderful. Given the low price point, we were very happy with the room. Definitely recommend the Main Wing, and if you can, a room with higher price point. All staff, from shuttle bus / concierge / front desk / bar, are excellent. We really enjoyed the check in process - you can sit at the lounge admiring Einstein's piano while the front staff comes calling your name. Also try the tea lounge both during the day and night (turns to a bar). I would also like to extend special thanks to Korean speaking front manager Lee Su Jin who helped us in so many ways. She really made our stay comfortable. One thing to note about Nara city itself is that most venues close at 4pm and have unpredictable operating hours. You can't just walk around hoping to sit down at a cafe or restaurant. Highly recommend making reservations in advance of your trip and I'm sure Nara hotel concierge can help with this. I really enjoyed Nara Hotel and look really forward to returning.

We had a wonderful time. This hotel is not like the others. Starting with the check in, where an employee literally sat down with us and walked us through all the aspects of the stay. I really appreciated the time taken for that. The design of the room was special, too. Spacious and friendly. The chicken in the inner ward gave it all a very particular vibe. Staff was very attentive. The Japanese breakfast was prepared with much attention to details. The lounge, with the possibility to have drinks throughout the afternoon and evening gave the stay an overall very relaxed feeling, almost a feeling of being at home. If I come back to Nara, I would certainly choose Setre again.

Very nice hotel，but service is not OK. Maybe I should say”bad”. We booked 1 room with 3 beds for 3 people, due to the booking system could input only 2 names, we have 1 person’s name missing. The 2 ladies in the front desk of the hotel told that we need to pay extra JPN 3900 for the additional bed. Or, we could only have 2 beds for 3 people. I said no, because it’s included in the room charge, we paid already. The ladies have no will to help us to solve the problem, but very interested in charging more. Try to imagine, will 2 people book 3 beds room for 2 beds? why don’t people book a same type standard room to save some money? Please contact with your agent to fix your booking system. Finally a gentleman of the hotel helped to negotiate,and we could live here. The room is really nice and clean. But the service is the worst I’ve ever seen in Japan.

３泊しましたが朝食はとてもおいしいので、安かった（トリプルルームの２人使いで３泊２万円）こともあり普通なら最高評価でいいのでしょうが、いくつか問題点もあるので評価を少し下げました。 換気の風（止められない）がとても寒くて、夜エアコンを止めて寝ると寒かった（エアコンつけっぱなしではうるさい）。同じことはトイレ洗面所共通の風呂場にも言え、スライドドアを開けて温めたくても、自動的に締まる仕組み（開けっぱなしにすると警報器が鳴るとのこと）なので寒かった。風呂は大量にすぐ高温のお湯が出るので、その点は大変満足。また、部屋の清掃なしを選ぶ（タオル類は供給される）と、荷物を出しっぱなしにできて楽だった。

Lokasinya baik, tidak jauh dari stesen. Tingkap tidak terang dan lebih terang selepas menutup lampu pada waktu malam. Bilik tatami sangat kecil, dan tidak banyak ruang untuk membentangkan bagasi Katil adalah tilam di atas tatami, TV sangat kecil, tidak ada almari pakaian, dan pakaian digantung pada cangkuk di dinding. Tiada lif di hotel, jadi pilih dengan teliti jika anda tidak boleh mengalihkan bagasi anda. Apabila saya menempah hotel, saya tertarik dengan mandian peribadi dan urutan, tetapi saya tidak perasan bahawa bilik tetamu sebenarnya tidak mempunyai kemudahan bilik mandi, hanya tandas dan singki untuk menempah bilik mandi peribadi, anda boleh memilih 40 - minit mandi peribadi semasa mendaftar masuk, dan anda boleh menggunakan pancuran mandian dan berendam. Anda tidak perlu membuat tempahan terlebih dahulu untuk kolam renang, dan anda tidak boleh membuat tempahan terlebih dahulu. Jika anda melancong dengan kanak-kanak yang lebih besar, mandi bersama akan menyusahkan. Airnya sangat berair pada pukul 8 malam. Apa yang dipanggil urut sebenarnya adalah kerusi urut, yang sangat lama Satu peranti tidak boleh menggerakkan alat kawalan jauh kerana alat kawalan jauh mempunyai sentuhan yang sangat lemah tidak menggunakannya. I stayed at this hotel for two nights and loved it. The staff was very nice and check in/out was simple. The hotel had a lot of traditional aspects to it and I loved the room. The room was traditional and modern and had all the needed amenities. The hotel is right by the station and a short walk from Nara Park and the downtown area. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is exactly something what we expected to experience with a Japanese style room and hot spring. We chose Japanese style room which was spacious enough for 3 guests. Hotel fee already included Japanese dinner served inside room and breakfast (Japanese or American) served in their restaurant. Hot spring is available from 4pm-11pm, however, no morning session is available which a bit disappointed us. Hot spring area is not big, it is more enjoyable when there are only 2-3 guest in the pool. Hotel location is good, only about 6 mins walk from Kintetsu Nara station. The only bad thing was NO elevator or escalator from the station up to ground floor exit. All other main tourist attractions are within walkable distance.

On my inaugural visit to Nara City, I enjoyed staying at “Toyoko Inn Kintetsu Nara Ekimae.” The hotel’s proximity to the train and bus stations made transportation incredibly convenient. The staff’s smiles were ever-present, and their eagerness to assist guests was commendable. The cleanliness of the rooms, coupled with the presence of windows, allowed for a scenic view of the outside world and the sunlight to grace the room’s interior—a rarity among business hotels. The breakfast buffet offered a selection of Western foods and highlighted some local specialties. All of this came at a reasonable price, providing a quality, comfortable experience that left a lasting impression.

Room was small probably because of the extra sofa bed but it was very convenient and clean. Great location. Close to Nara park and the station. The restaurant is also very nice.
