This place is perfectly situated within the Wulanhada volcano park. It is 2 mins walk away from the 北游客中心. You can take the tour bus to get to the accoms if you are not driving.
The hotel design is unique and looks beautiful at night. Front desk staffs were very friendly and helpful! They have a restaurant that serves breakfast and dinner. If you are lucky, you can see the fireworks while having dinner and sheep outside your door in the morning ❤️

Excellent Stay at a Beautiful New Hotel
I spent a night at this hotel and had an awesome experience! Everything was perfect—from the modern, stylish decor to the overall cleanliness and comfort. The hotel is brand new and you can really feel the quality and attention to detail.
Front desk girl was an amazing host—friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make the stay special.
Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The only issue we had was that the air-conditioning didn't work. We asked the hotel to fix it, but they just told us to wait an hour. Unfortunately, they didn't fix anything and the room was 27 degrees all night. We complained again at 4am and all they did was bring us a fan.

I had a wonderful stay at Wanda Vista Hotel Hohhot. The hotel feels very luxurious from the moment you enter, with a beautiful lobby and elegant design. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-decorated, with comfortable beds and modern amenities.
The staff were polite and helpful, making the overall experience smooth and pleasant. I especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which had a good variety of food.
The hotel is also conveniently located, making it easy to get around the city. Overall, it offers great value for a luxury stay, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Hohhot.

Отличный, уютный отель. Есть лифт. Номер был чистый, светлый, в номере есть все необходимое - чайник, фен, полотенца, автоматическое открываение штор, телевизор. Большая ванная комната. Вода в номере и если не хватает в любое время можно взять на ресепшене. Заселили быстро. Местоположение очень удобное, в проулке между рынком ванцуань (вход с 4улицы) и магазином игрушки Яша.

Great service and attitude - front desk helped to arrange for transportation to and from volcano, and transport back to town at a reasonable price. Response was prompt and attentive.

在那一塊兒算蠻大的民宿，老闆人很好，我忘記帶充電器了，就把他自己的借我用，好感動。
有穿蒙古族服飾的體驗活動，穿起來在民宿蒙古包附近拍拍照，蠻好的。
房間設施齊全，洗澡的噴頭出水小，跟老闆反應了下，10分鐘後直接給換了個新的噴頭，出水槓槓的。
早餐也不錯，還有羊雜湯喝，YYDS！
就是從南遊客中心到民宿有一段路，特別不好走，車子容易託底，大家開車一定要當心。

GGuest UserThis tent was a wonderful surprise!! (It's incredibly cost-effective! As long as you follow the butler's instructions and close the door behind you, you'll basically be free of bugs. And those who say there are bugs here, you might as well not come to the desert; you're better off staying home.)
Firstly, we went during the off-season, and there were only four of us in two rooms at the entire campsite. We could do whatever we wanted! The sand is right outside, the pool for photos, and the food street are all very close. In the evening, you can even have a tent, BBQ, or hot pot – it's incredibly comprehensive! You could call it the ”desert version of Aranya”!
The reception center and the butler were exceptionally attentive and provided excellent service! A big plus!
We were initially worried about carrying a lot of luggage because other reviews mentioned walking a long way, but a Jeep from the reception center picked us up. We later learned that most hotel guests can call a Jeep, which was very convenient. The driver even helped us with our luggage!
The playground equipment was also great; we didn't bring swimwear but could still play without getting wet.
Overall, highly recommended! I'll bring my family here again next time!

Our time at Xilamuren Grassland Tourism Resort will forever be etched in my heart. From the moment we arrived, the owner welcomed us like family, going above and beyond to recommend attractions, arrange tickets, and even personally drive us to the sites. Where else do you find service like that—done with a constant smile and thoughtful touches like free bottled water to keep us refreshed?
Staying in a traditional yurt on the open grassland is an experience beyond words. There is something grounding, peaceful, and almost spiritual about waking up to endless green horizons instead of concrete grey, hearing the soft rustle of the prairie wind, and watching the morning light sweep across the landscape.
This isn’t just accommodation...it’s an authentic encounter with the beauty of Inner Mongolia. Anyone visiting the region simply must experience this once in a lifetime.

GGuest UserOur group of road-tripping friends chose the Anda Inn, and it was a great choice. The courtyard is spacious, so parking was absolutely stress-free. The rooms were meticulously cleaned; there wasn't a speck of dust on furniture edges, and the bathroom counter was spotless, free of water stains. During the day, the owner drove us around the grasslands for free, and we got significant discounts on all sorts of activities. In the evening, there was a bonfire, with all ingredients sourced locally from the pastoral areas. At night, we could lie back in our room and gaze at the starry sky. The relaxation and recovery experience far exceeded our expectations.

Open the window to a magnificent view of the volcanoes, and fall asleep under the Milky Way at night. The guesthouse itself is very stylish, with a unique Mongolian milk slice coffee. The restaurant offers stir-fries and hotpot, and the adjacent hot spring center is just a stone's throw away. The facilities are all-encompassing, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. In the evening, we enjoyed a high-quality beef and lamb hotpot at the stunning restaurant, followed by an outdoor hot spring soak – pure bliss. The staff were warm and attentive, making the overall experience perfect! This was the most satisfying guesthouse of our trip.

The best part was the spaciousness of the room. They provided free disposable toilet seat covers, and the shampoo and shower gel were individually packaged. Definitely recommend it.

TTienneA comfortable stay in a great location, the yurts are located just a ten minute walk away from the ticket counter for the Dalinuoer Lake Scenic Area. It's a pretty small town, so it's also close to pretty much every restaurant. The boss is also very friendly, he answered all my questions and helped me with finding transportation.
The conditions of the yurt are actually quite good, there's a heating/air conditioning unit, which I used to keep cozy at night, and a full bathroom (shower, toilet, sink, hot water etc.). There's also a TV, a variety of charging cables, and free WiFi. The bed is massive, very comfortable and able to fit a family. Body wash, shampoo, hairdryer, toothbrush and toothpaste are provided.
For those who may be concerned about such things, it may be useful to note that the door locks from the inside using a deadbolt, and when you leave your yurt for the day you lock it from the outside with a padlock as there's no electronic lock or keycard. It didn't bother me and since the town is very small, I felt pretty safe.
As for cleanliness, for what it is (essentially a semi-permanent tent in the rural grasslands) it's very clean. There are vinyl floors and clean sheets, everything seems well maintained. Sometimes little critters like moths fly in, but this is glamping. Of course you shouldn't expect the same type of environment as a regular five star hotel.
Overall I had a wonderful experience here! Felt connected to nature while still enjoying my creature comforts.

GGuest UserWhen I booked the hotel, I saw the yurt and felt novel. I lived in later and found that it was actually the same as the promotional map. The yurt is very close to the airport and it is more convenient to go around. The furnishings inside are very new and you can take pictures, and there is heating inside. The boss family is very kind, this homestay and Hohhot have left a good impression on me, looking forward to seeing you next time.

The Aershan Guiye Homestay (阿尔山归野宿集民宿) is a beautiful little boutique hotel where nothing is missing: the rooms are gorgeous and spotlessly clean, and the team is incredibly friendly and helpful.
A real highlight is the delicious tea ceremony – the perfect way to end the evening while sharing stories. The hosts make it so easy to feel at home!
If you need help organizing your trip, you can fully rely on the hotel team – simply fantastic.
The Aershan Guiye Homestay (阿尔山归野宿集民宿) is located right by the riverside promenade and close to the city center. There’s nothing better than strolling back to the hotel after an iced hotpot, across the town square and along the river – highly recommended!
If you’re stopping in Aershan, you should definitely stay at the Aershan Guiye Homestay (阿尔山归野宿集民宿). We would come back anytime – and we already miss our wonderful hosts!

GGuest UserOur experience was truly memorable! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with horse wine and traditional music, which set the tone for the trip. The check-in process was seamless, and the staff were exceptionally friendly, offering us a variety of activities right away.
Shortly after arrival, we went horseback riding through the beautiful fields. Following that, we visited a nearby area with an array of activities like tea tasting, dressing up in traditional Mongolian clothing, archery, and viewing livestock. There was also an option to watch a horse riding show, but we decided to skip it as we were a bit tired.
The room was cozy, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Even though it was cold outside, the heating kept the space warm, making it a perfect retreat after a long day of activities. It added a charming touch to the overall experience.
In the evening, there was a large yurt on the premises where we enjoyed an authentic Mongolian dinner accompanied by a captivating live show. The night ended with fireworks, a bonfire, and more entertainment, making it a truly unforgettable experience.
I highly recommend this place if you want a well-organized and immersive experience. Even though we don’t speak Chinese, communication was never an issue, and we always felt welcomed. A big thank you to the team for taking such great care of us!
