For a pet-friendly hotel, this price point offers decent value. The front desk lady was very friendly and always smiling. However, the facilities are a bit hard to comment on. Especially in the bathroom, the toilet seat fell off when I lifted it, so I had to put it back on 🥲. The shower head looked like it had two parts, a large and a small one. The large one was broken, and water sprayed out from the edge of the shower plate, which was quite startling. The handheld shower head below could only be held, as it would slide down if I tried to attach it. I spent 10 out of 30 minutes of my shower battling with the shower head 🤣, it was ridiculous! Also, there's no full-length mirror or clothes rack, which was quite inconvenient, but at least there's a hairdryer.

They offer a free shuttle service to and from the airport. **Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport Shuttle:** After landing and getting my luggage, I called them, and they arrived in less than ten minutes – super quick pick-up! They were also perfectly on time for my departure in May. Really appreciated it. **Environment:** The environment is great, not noisy at all, primarily focusing on comfort. **Service:** The front desk lady was very enthusiastic and even helped me with my luggage 🧳.

First, the good points - Room & Location: The room and location are totally worth it. If you're a foreigner like me, it might be a little hard to get there. But once you arrive and see the view and the room, it's absolutely worth it. -Service: The male staff at the restaurant is very polite, quick, polite warm and thoughtful. · The driver and the auntie at the restaurant are very warm and friendly. Now, what needs improvement The front desk female staff came across as unprofessional. I booked a 45-minute singing bowl session starting at 12:15, and then booked a photographer for 13:00. But at 12:48, the front desk lady called me and even called the singing bowl teacher — while my session was still going on. I think this is basic knowledge for front desk staff: a singing bowl session requires a calm, quiet environment, and my session hadn't even ended yet — it wasn't time for the photographer. After my session ended and I could finally check my phone, But when I got to the front desk, The photographer already left because he was in a hurry. But he arrived at 12:45 — and then said he was in a hurry? The front desk staff's poor coordination not only ruined my need for a peaceful healing session, but also made the hotel's ”photographer service” gift completely useless. At first I thought I would come back to stay here again. But after this experience of inefficient coordination, I'll really have to reconsider whether I want to stay here next time.

Choosing the Manting Garden Hotel for my trip to Qufu this time was definitely a stroke of genius on my part. First off, the hotel truly lives up to its name – it's a beautiful garden with trees, flowers, water features, lotus ponds, and various clever designs everywhere you look; it’s a feast for the eyes. The room was spacious, and the facilities were excellent. I particularly loved the large private balcony; enjoying a meal and tea there all by myself was simply delightful! Secondly, the hotel's service was absolutely superb. The front desk staff were kind, attentive, and incredibly patient when answering questions. They helped carry our luggage during both check-in and check-out without any complaints, truly making us feel at home. Thirdly, the hotel boasts an excellent location, just a 3 to 5-minute walk from the 'Wanren Gongqiang' (Wall of Ten Thousand Ren) where the city gate opening ceremony takes place. The hotel's side entrance features beautiful brick walls and a red gate, where I even hired a photographer to shoot some period costume photos, haha, it was stunning! All in all, I feel this hotel will be my top choice when I bring my family to Qufu in the future. I genuinely and highly recommend it!

The room was very comfortable. The facilities were excellent, and everything was clean and tidy. The environment was elegant and relaxing. The service was friendly. I highly recommend staying here; it was a perfect experience, and I'll choose this hotel again if I have the chance.

The environment here is first-rate, and the greenery is truly exceptional. Both indoors and outdoors are surrounded by lush plant landscapes. There are many outdoor hot spring pools, and a beautiful swimming pool. Bringing my elderly parents here to relax was a wonderful experience, very satisfying. The restaurant's dishes and ingredients are also excellent.

If I could give this hotel more than five stars, I would. My parents stayed here while travelling alone through China, and I organised their journey from Germany. Since they do not speak Chinese, I was worried about them, but the wonderful staff gave me a feeling of safety from the very first moment. Their service was truly exceptional. They organised tickets, traditional clothing and styling for my mother, dinner, transportation, an early transfer to the railway station, and breakfast for the journey. When my father became ill, they immediately helped him get medicine and even paid for it themselves. What touched us most was the genuine kindness behind everything they did. They treated my parents like friends and family, not simply as hotel guests. When I offered them a tip to thank them, they refused and said that we were friends. I still feel emotional when I think about their beautiful hearts. The hotel itself is wonderful, clean, peaceful, and beautifully designed, but the people are what make this place unforgettable. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking such good care of my parents. We will never forget your kindness. My husband and I sincerely hope to visit Qufu one day and meet you ourselves. This hotel deserves every possible recommendation.
