Hotel Pet Friendly di Shanxi, China

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel, from the first moment until my check-out! They offered pick-up and drop-off at the train station, and I stayed in a very spacious room with beautiful decor! The family that runs the hotel is very kind and always very generous to me and my husband; we were impressed by how they treated us! We stayed 2 nights and it was very comfortable! I definitely recommend this place and would love to return someday; it's an excellent choice. May God continue to bless this wonderful and pleasant place.

Highly recommend this one !! The highlight of the trip was the staff. So kind! They picked us up from the train station and dropped us off the next day. It was amazing! They also stayed awake till late to give us take away breakfast for the next day. They are helpful with tips about the city and give you a map and infos. The hotel and the room are really nice. The only thing I’m slightly disappointed about is that by changing the reservation I lost my room upgrade and we were given a smaller one. But we didn’t ask for anything as they were really helpful with the other matters. Thank you!

Incredible service, employees were all extremely kind and considerate. The room was very clean and orderly, and laundry service was extremely useful. Even though we were out of the hotel, our clothes were not only brought back up to our room but also neatly folded and hung up in the dresser. Would absolutely recommend.

What a great place! Right in the center of everything, but in a separate alley which is more quiet. The place has a real local charm, great pictures coming out from there. The room is not fancy but has a great atmosphere in the traditional feeling to it. The staff is extra friendly and I recommended it very much.

This is without doubt the ideal place to stay in Pingyao Gucheng. It is located pretty much equidistant from the 4 gate towers - smack in the middle of the ancient town. It is right at the edge of the no-car zone (which is approximately the Southern half of the Gucheng), and this means that the hotel's car can drop you off right at the hotel's gate, and there is no need to roll your luggage down a street or transfer from car to electric cart. The Gucheng's main street is 5 minutes' walk away, easy access to all the restaurants, shops and main attractions. The hotel oozes old world charm, yet is up-to-date with modern amenities like heating in both room and bathroom, comfortable beds, key cards, etc. Hygiene and service were impeccable. The driver picked us up from and dropped us back at the high-speed train station on time, front desk staff checked on our needs all the time, helped with our bags (driver calling ahead before arriving), gave us daily fruit platters and water, etc. We had a fantastic time, and felt more taken care of than anywhere else on this month-long trip in China. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Very well appointed rooms especially the projector tv! Overall very comfortable room, spacious and well maintained and clean. Quiet, relaxing surrounding and the hotel property is very nicely decorated in period Chinese style. Te main PingYao street is just 30-40m away from the hotel entrance - convenient yet just far off enough to be quiet and serene. Service is outstanding starting with the free transfer to and from the train station to the hotel. Also they provide a concierge service, being able to book local tours and tickets for the local theatre (very well presented!). We even got a plate of fresh fruits when we came back from our tour to Mianshan. Finally as we left the hotel, we were given a box of their local specialty which is vinegar, flavoured with fruits and herbs! Definitely recommending this hotel!

A place that allowed us to rejuvenate and sleep well! It has a hot spring tub in the room. Bed is a king size bed. Toilet has a sewer smell though, so that is one minus point. Service is awesome. Service staffs were helping us to bring our luggage down and up the car. They also helped navigate our car into the old city. We appreciate the free snacks and arrival drinks. The disposable toothbrush is surprisingly usable. The location is near to food street; the staff will gladly direct you to it. Thanks for the staff — 丽莎，小赵，小良!

We are a German and Irish couple and just spent two wonderful days in Pingyao- and this boutique hotel was truly excellent. The service was five-star from start to finish, the room was perfect and equipped with everything we could possibly want, and every detail of the hotel and room was beautifully designed. The coffee and fresh fruit were amazing, and the whole concept was well thought out and comfortable. The station pickup and drop-off were also incredibly smooth, which made everything so easy. We can honestly say this is a place you have to stay at when in Pingyao!
