Room: This is a budget hotel, so the rooms are a bit small, but there are plenty of creative use of space here and the room still has a desk and chair. If you've ever been to a Super 8 Motel in the USA, this place feels like a noticeable upgrade. The mattress was comfortable but the pillows caused some neck pain, would prefer firmer pillow options. There isn't a coffee machine in the room (forcing you to buy it from downstairs) but of course, Super 8 is a budget brand. Towels and soaps are included. Noise was quiet, our room faced the backside of the building. Wifi: I didn't run a test, but expect around 15-20mbps (maybe more) Zoom calls and streaming Netflix were totally fine. Service: Melanie (front desk person with glasses) was amazing, and provided a level of service I expect at an Iberostar resort or a Hilton hotel, honestly. Her English was fluent and was willing to use Google Translate to bridge some language barriers with some of the friendly Ukrainian guests. She had a kind attitude and was a delight to interact with if you had questions. For management, please promote her to a supervisor or management role. If all the other employees were like her, my review would be 5 stars. The cleaning staff were friendly enough, but knocked on our door at 8:50AM on a sunday morning to ask us whether we wanted cleaning or not which was a bit early for my taste as I was asleep. Please note, the front desk people in the night shift are not as fluent in English, so be prepared for some Google Translate and hand gestures. There was one particular gentleman (with short brown hair) that gave me and my partner some weird vibes. Asked very in-depth questions about our relationship instead of answering some questions we had about the hotel. Nothing happened, but just a very uncomfortable feeling. Location: This was very central to Chemintz Zentrum, also about 15 minutes to the Chemnitz Hbf by foot. Lots of food options around, honestly a very good location. Food: Breakfast wasn't too bad actualy for 12 euros. Automatic Expresso/Coffee machine, selection of juices, bread rolls + assortment of spreads, scrambled eggs, bacon/sausage, waffle/pancakes, and some cold meats. While there are cheaper options at some bakeries, this breakfast is worth it. NOTE: Because of construction, the parking garage is VERY tricky to get into. Basically, go in the bus/tram lane towards Biendo Hotel opposite of Stadthallen Park (if you're not from Germany, this is sketchy but it's legit). After 250m, you'll then see Vapianos on the left, turn into that area, there's a small road that hugs the building opposite of Vapianos. Then turn left into the Eins Energie building. Parking garage is on the right.

This building was an amazing historic old Towne villa from 1888. It has high ceilings, chandeliers, parquet wood floors and a ballroom. The lobby hosts a pool table and a snake tank! There were welcoming bakery breads and water in the lobby. The restaurant and bar are off the lobby in a nice location. The room was huge as was the tv. The room did lack cleanliness. It wasn't horribly disturbing but it was enough to make me wipe down the handles on doors and windows so that I felt like it was clean. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable. The large windows opened to a fresh breeze nightly. Parking underground should have a couple more signs to direct where to park but it was included in price. Overall, a good place to stay for a weekend. Dieses Gebäude war eine erstaunliche historische Altstadtvilla aus dem Jahr 1888. Es hat hohe Decken, Kronleuchter, Parkettböden und einen Ballsaal. Die Lobby beherbergt einen Billardtisch und ein Schlangenbecken! In der Lobby gab es einladendes Bäckereibrot und Wasser. Das Restaurant und die Bar befinden sich neben der Lobby in schöner Lage. Das Zimmer war riesig, genauso wie der Fernseher. Dem Zimmer fehlte es an Sauberkeit. Es war nicht schrecklich störend, aber es reichte aus, um mich dazu zu bringen, die Griffe an Türen und Fenstern abzuwischen, sodass ich das Gefühl hatte, es sei sauber. Die Matratze und die Kissen waren sehr bequem. Die großen Fenster öffneten sich jeden Abend für eine frische Brise. Das Parken in der Tiefgarage sollte ein paar weitere Schilder haben, um zu sagen, wo man parken kann, aber es war im Preis inbegriffen. Insgesamt eine gute Unterkunft für ein Wochenende.

Wir waren zum Luisenfest dort und haben es toll gefunden . Alles Sauber im Zimmer und sehr hygienisch. Natürlich ist es ein Haus aus dem Jahre 1884 was dazu führt das nicht alles perfekt ( kaputt) renoviert sein kann und soll. Das Macht aber den besonderen Charme aus. Tolle Leute arbeiten dort ! Frühstück ist alles da was macht braucht ohne übertriebene unnötige Sachen und kostet nur 8,50 Euro . Man kann drinnen oder draußen frühstücken was ich besonders liebe. W LAN war Soso aber da waren auch viele Leute eingeloggt . Vom Balkon aus konnte ich das Fest voll überblicken.

Tolles Hotel mit Parkplätzen vor der Tür. Alle Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend aber dabei nicht gestellt freundlich ☺️ Wir haben im Holiday Inn Dresden City South zwei Nächte verbracht und alles war sehr sauber und auch das berühmte Haar auf dem Bett oder in der Dusche war hier NICHT zu sehen. Obwohl wir nur für zwei Nächte geblieben sind haben wir immer ein frisch gemachtes Bett und frische Handtücher bekommen ohne das man sich irgendwie darum kümmern musste. Ich selbst bin wie mein Freund sagt sehr pingelig, aber für den gebuchten Preis von knapp 75€ die Übernachtung inklusive Frühstück waren wir vollkommen zufrieden. Gerade weil unser Zimmer auch ein kleines vollständig zu öffnendes Fenster hatte 🥰 Auch auf den Matratzen haben wir mehr als gut schlafen können, obwohl das Doppelbett aus zwei einzelnen Betten zusammengeschoben ist lag keiner nachts von uns beiden auf einmal in der Mitte zwischen beiden 😁 Einziges Manko, da wir vom Land kommen Nordseeküste sind wir frische Eier und hausgemachtes Rührei mit Kräutern gewohnt, dafür ziehen wir einen Punkt ab. Denn das industrielle Rührei macht leider das Frühstück ein wenig schlecht. Und seien wir mal ehrlich so viel mehr Aufwand ist es auch nich ein paar Eier in die Pfanne zu schlagen plus ein paar frische Kräuter ☺️ Toll wäre es wenn dies verbessert werden würde. Werden sehr wahrscheinlich nochmal wieder kommen ! ☺️

Das Frühstück ist super, aber mit 17 Euro pro erwachsener Person sehr treuer. Dafür konnten die Kinder kostenlos mit frühstücken. Die Rezeption ist erst ab 14:30 besetzt, das fanden wir für uns nicht optimal. Die Zimmer waren super und die Betten bequem. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral.

Das Arthotel grenzt direkt an Primark und man hat es nicht weit zum Brühl oder Bahnhof oder Markt. Es ist, wie der Name schon vermuten lässt, modern eingerichtet. Gut, dass sich dies auch in einem Blechspind statt Schrank äußert, gefällt nicht jedem. Unser Zimmer war nach Straße ausgerichtet und hatte eine riesige Glasfront. Das Bad war sehr sauber, hatte eine ebenerdige Dusche und schöne große Ablagen an denen sonst in Hotelbäder eher gespart wird. Der Empfang wahr freundlich und hat uns auch schon vor der Zeit ein Zimmer gegeben. Bedenken hatte ich wegen des Frühstücks - offensichtlich ein Dauerthema bei den Bewertungen. Entweder hat sich zwischenzeitlich etwas getan oder die Ansprüche sind unterschiedlich. Ich würde es als etwas über dem Durchschnitt klassifizieren. Für die Betreuung beim Frühstück sind zwei Servicekräfte zuständig. Ob das Geschirr zwischendurch abgeräumt und auch mal was weg gewischt wird, hängt davon ab, wer Dienst hat. Heute (11.04) war ein guter Tag…😀 Hervorzuheben ist, dass die Kaffeemaschinen den Gästen ganztags zur Verfügung stehen. Die Anreise mit Auto ist etwas schwierig. Empfehlenswert ist, aufgrund Entfernung und Preis, das Parkhaus an der Westseite des Bahnhofs.

We stayed here for a couple of nights en route to Berlin for the Euro 2024 final. We loved Leipzig. We had some of the best meals of our time in Germany there and it’s very pretty. The hotel was very convenient for the station (we travelled to all the games by train) and then a short walk on to the centre. There are plenty of bars and restaurants right around the hotel though. It was the first hotel I’ve ever stayed in where you have no key or card, just a number code. But it seemed to work ok. The rooms are adequate and clean with a good shower. Definitely worth staying here and very good value for what we paid.

Was stranded at the door step and was unable to get into. Ring up the given number and there's no one picking up. A kind soul, happen to be unit neighbour helps us out. Manage to contact them and realise that they DIDN'T email us the necessary documents and password inorder to gain access into the unit. Imagine what what if this happened on a late night. Very nervous and bad experience despite all the pros about this unit.

It’s a creative and colorful place with an exceptionally friendly staff! :) The location is great. Affordable places to eat and a Rewe are very close. The building is located in a quite backyard. You can sleep like a baby in the wild heart of the Neustadt and you can easily go to bars and dancing locations or have a drink at their own bar in the same building. Across the street you can dance at the „Ostpol“, Glühwein and beer gardens, designers and tons of art are just around the corner. I recommend leaving the tram at the „Bischofsweg“ station. There is also a Café at that corner where you can get gluten-free pancakes 😍
