Στα θετικά, πρόκειται για ξενοδοχείο με εξαιρετική θέα στη θάλασσα, η παραλία του Καρφά ακριβώς κάτω είναι εξαιρετική, είναι δίπλα στο χωριό και ακριβώς απ' έξω έχει στάση ΚΤΕΛ (αν και δεν τη χρησιμοποιήσαμε) - άρα, η θέση του γενικά είναι πολύ καλή. Το προσωπικό είναι πολύ ευγενικό, φιλικό, εξυπηρετικό. Επίσης είναι φιλικό σε ΑΜΕΑ με ικανοποιητικές υποδομές (μπάρες εισόδου και εύκολη σχετικά πρόσβαση σε όλους τους χώρους). Δυστυχώς, υπάρχουν πολλά αρνητικά: Το ξενοδοχείο φαίνεται, για κάποιο μη κατανοητό λόγο, υποστελεχωμένο και χωρίς Operation Manager. Ενώ το πρωινό είναι καλό, βρίσκεις πιάτα και μαχαιροπήρουνα με υπολείμματα φαγητού (!!!), το δωμάτιο καθαρίζεται όποτε να' ναι (έτυχε να γυρίσουμε 5 το απόγευμα κι ακόμα ήταν βρώμικο), η εξυπηρέτηση στο μπαρ της πισίνας καθυστερούσε υπερβολικά (μπορεί να περίμενες και μισή ώρα για να πάρουν την παραγγελία σου και μάλιστα με τραπέζια σχεδόν άδεια), ενώ δημιουργήθηκε κι ένα θεματάκι που μάλλον δείχνει αδέξιο χειρισμό (μας έκαναν παρατήρηση ότι παραπονέθηκε πελάτης επειδή είχαμε την τηλεόραση ανοιχτή στο 40% του ήχου...). Σοβαρό πρόβλημα υπάρχει και με το πάρκινγκ διότι είναι μικρό κι άβολο, ενώ πελάτες διαμαρτυρήθηκαν ότι είδαν ανθρώπους να παρκάρουν εκεί που δεν ήταν πελάτες. Θα το συνιστούσα μόνο για την καταπληκτική του θέση και την πολύ όμορφη παραλία που έχει κι αν έχετε αποφασίσει να μη μείνετε πολύ στο ξενοδοχείο.

In a town with generally lackluster accommodation options, this hotel delivers a truly top-flight experience. The location is perfect, especially for those arriving by sea, and it’s in a very cool corner of the town, surrounded by very hip, socially conscious eateries and shops. Rooms are elegant and comfortable. The whole operation is very professionally run. I can usually find something to complain about but not here. Breakfast had a range of really unusual local items, and everything I tasted was delicious. All breakfast preferences that I could imagine were well provided for, too. Highly recommended overall!

Stayed for 7 night in early September 2023 - first impression of the place was absolutely amazing. Visually, one of the more beautiful hotels I've seen. Before I delve into a deeper review, I'd like to give a special shout out to the entire hotel staff, from reception, to waiters, to housekeeping and even Vincent with his delicious coffee in the morning - without whom this hotel wouldn't be as special without. A very special thank you to Eva (we miss you!) and Matthew at the restaurant in the evenings, Dimitry at the bar and Costa at the reception - your kindness and smiles truly made our stay special. Personal tip - don't rely on the hotel's 'Guest Relations' rep for recommendations on where to go and where to eat - we had some very unpleasant experiences from some of her recommendations. Talk to Eva or Dimitry, or even the local cab drivers, for the best recommendations. The Rooms: We took a room with a swim-up. The room itself is gorgeous, and the direct access to the pool made it the best possible room. If you book this room, make sure to ask for Rooms that have sun throughout the whole day (like rooms 707 and 706) - we got 708 and only got direct sun from 14:00 until 18:00 (which falls 'lunchtime') - which was a bit disappointing considering we moved rooms due to this very issue with our first room (908). The Food: Breakfast buffet was nice, a lot of choices and fresh eggs/omelettes made to order. Though the fact that there wasn't fresh orange juice was a bit disappointing - it IS a 5 star hotel after all. Also why no toaster? That was very strange. Cereal choices were also very limited. Lunch and Dinner menus were excellent and delicious. However, two big drawbacks regarding both menus; Both menus were a bit expensive. If you're having drinks and a meal each, the bill can easily get to 60-70 euros (and when you eat lunch and dinner day after day, it adds up quite fast), and that's without anything 'fancy'. A second drawback was the lack of choices. We came to Casa Cook Samos due to our amazing experience at Casa Cook Rhodes - where you had a different menu for every day of the week! At Samos, you unfortunately have a very limited menu that doesn't change - so if you're going for longer than 3-4 days, things get old very very fast. And especially since there's only one decent restaurant (Unan) within walking distance from the hotel - otherwise you need to visit Pythagorio. Again - the food was top notch, their Risotto was one of the best I've had in my life - but such a shame it wasn't priced more fairly and had more options. My recommendation - for great food, go to Pythagorio or even Samos City and have some great local food for a fraction of the prices. Unan (not far from the hotel), Pergamonto and Onion Grill are a few of the great places we ate - all with excellent food and service. DO NOT go to Pnoe Restaurant - very low quality food. Beautiful property tucked away in a centrally located street walking distance to town and beaches. Great bakery for bread and coffee next door, and a close walk to many delicious restaurants and a variety of shops. The rooms are a nice size, with many accommodations (robes, slippers, outlet plugs, towels) and very clean. The breakfast food was expansive each morning, with many local options made fresh daily. Marie prepared the breakfast each morning, and took extra time to ensure she explained the local foods and that we tried all the freshest food options. She was also able to make us eggs to order each morning and provided fresh squeezed orange juice. Marie helped us with our laundry and told us about the best local restaurants. Overall, she was very careful to ensure we were having a wonderful time. She made us feel at home and we looked forward to her morning breakfasts each day! Highly recommend Archontiko Petras!
