Hotel Pet Friendly di Penang, Malaysia

The air conditioning was cold. The room was beautiful. The view from the balcony was stunning. If you use the hot water for too long, it feels like it runs out. There's a stove so you can cook your own food. Large vehicles can only park on the side of the road.

Staff was very proactive with all communications via WhatsApp from pre-check in, daily welfare check on guest and post-check out for feedback! I had some difficulty with my luggage and even though it’s my own issue, the staff did his best and assisted me all the way through! Location of the accommodation is very much within walking distance of local food (dim sum & Bak kut teh) and international options like McDonalds, Starbucks, KFC, etc. A sizable mall is also across the road that has a nice supermarket, cafes, Mr DIY, Guardian, etc. View from 19th floor was amazing and I’m very satisfied with the room’s amenities and facilities like the microwave oven, kettle, ceiling fans, air condition, shower, beds, etc. would love to be back if I’m ever in Penang again!

Self check in. Instructions and key box code were sent by email. No issues. Room was basic but clean. Stairs to loft bed have no railing so your balance has to be okay. What I liked: it’s very near the beach (but be careful going down the steep steps with a rusting and questionable guardrail). And it’s also a minute’s walk from the nearby food place with many affordable options for dinner. Not far from the bus stop. Penang’s bus services are not bad. What I didn’t like: the positions of the room lighting are poor, including the bathroom where the opaque shower curtain blocks the bathroom light, and the loft where the bare bulb is right above your head and glows even when off. I unscrewed the bulb in order to stop that. Also, not many breakfast options nearby. Music from a nearby nightspot could be heard along with some firecracker type noises some nights, but these died down by about 10pm so not a problem for me. In all, I would rate this place a solid 4/5 and I wouldn’t mind staying here again.

Love the stay and staffs are all friendly! Room was so spacious! Will definitely come back for a stay. Just a small drawback which was the noise for my second morning, I complained about it and hotel mentioned was the mall beside and they can’t do anything plus it was a Sunday! Our friends who were staying in higher floor (30+) didn’t hear that, our floor located at 20 stg so maybe it depends on luck?

It's good. Much better than Ixora or Pearl View, and not that much more expensive too. The unit is spacious and very well equipped. I'm a big fan of the body wash, it's not the cheap ones. The luxury does shine through. Mine only less than ideal experience is with the cleanliness of the unit. Maybe it's a less-booked room type and the staff don't regularly re-clean a vacant room, there are some dusty areas within the unit. Outside the unit, there are lots of cobwebs too. I'd recommend a more consistent cleaning schedule, but it's not that much of a problem. My other gripe is my keycard suddenly stopped working when I returned to the unit on the second day. Took around 10 minutes to bring a replacement up to me, no explanation on why I was locked out too. Small issue but quite annoying at 11pm. Otherwise, I really recommend this hotel, especially the two bedroom executive or premier. Washing machine in the unit is incredibly convenient. I love the peach-scented towels. Didn't make use of the kitchen or living room, but I imagine it'd be nice to have for a bigger crowd.

Great service provided by their service crew during our short stay. The aircon were really nice and cold even at just 23 degrees celcius! They even have a 24/7 coffee station available upon request! A++ service. Water filters are available at each end of the corridor allowing easy access to water when required. Would return again if Penang crosses my travel plans in the future!

Excellent Location The hotel is very centrally located in George Town, making it easy to walk to popular attractions, food stalls, shopping malls (Komtar, 1st Avenue), and places like Hin Bus Depot. For food lovers, there are many local eateries, spas, and convenience stores nearby. 2. New & Attractive Design The property feels modern and fresh; many reviewers liked the mix of heritage facade with clean, contemporary interiors. Rooms are well decorated and generally clean. Beds, pillows, and linen get positive marks. 3. Amenities & Conveniences There’s a rooftop (or on-roof) pool (though small) and a gym. These provide nice options to unwind. Free‐flow water dispensers in hallways, complimentary coffee/tea and snacks in the lobby are much appreciated. The hotel is fairly clean, and staff are generally friendly & helpful.

A pleasant stay with family. The house was spacious with a huge open garden rooftop/balcony. Only some minor withdrawals are the water tap in one bathroom are not in good order, hard to close tight. Whereas the master bedroom toilet sink always have water leaks out from the pipe when we use to wash. Therefore causing the whole bathroom went wet with waste water. I need to use the other bathroom for brush or wash. Some more the floor was sticky and not mop, if you didn't wear a slipper your foot will be dirty. Other than that all good. Low density condo, good facilities, but we didn't managed to use. We only back for sleep.

Although the photos and reality were different, the window-less rooms were still adequate for comfortable staying. We stayed for 3 nights in a level 4 deluxe double room and level 3 double room, all ensuite with bathrooms. Due to the lack of exhaust fans and windows, the internal bathrooms can cause dampness and a smell but that was ok for us. A pet friendly Guesthouse (many of our neighbours had dogs but they were very quiet and well managed). Now managed by 3 service staffs who do everything. A retro but working games machine at the ground floor was a delight for my kids. Free laundry & dryer and a simple fitness corner are useful amenities. The highlight is actually the location of this guesthouse - within walking distance, there are numerous dim sum outlets, night time street foods, noodles shop, bakery and a sports bar just across the road. Will stay again, anytime, for my next visit.
