Ferra Resort is a great option if you want to stay slightly away from the busy center of General Luna while still being close enough to everything. It’s about 7 minutes by scooter and located in a nice area near the beach, although I didn’t go into the sea during my stay. The hut was very spacious and comfortable, with a mosquito net over the bed and pleasant lighting in the bedroom, creating a cozy atmosphere. The bathroom was very large, with warm water, good-quality towels, and plenty of space. The resort features a brand new pool, which was a nice highlight, and pool towels are available. During the visit, a restaurant was still under construction, and the overall experience was slightly impacted by ongoing works and workers extending the property. The internet connection was good, and the overall atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Nearby resorts were a bit loud at times, which might have been due to the Christmas period. The staff were very friendly and attentive—I was able to ask for free coffee several times without any issues. A nice extra was the private water dispenser in the bathroom, available free of charge. Overall, a very pleasant stay, and I would definitely come again.

Title: A Home Away from Home at Dahun Villa I recently had the pleasure of staying at Dahun Villa, and it was an unforgettable experience. The villa boasts a serene atmosphere and a unique architecture that utilizes indigenous materials, allowing it to blend seamlessly with the beautiful surroundings of Siargao. What truly made our stay exceptional, however, were the gracious owners and their attentive staff. The German owner was able to connect with my fiancé on a personal level, while the local owner shared our passion for sports, such as freediving. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel right at home, and they even went above and beyond by introducing us to their friends who are business owners in Siargao. Dahun Villa's immaculate rooms and facilities were another highlight of our stay, providing the perfect space to unwind and recharge. Their adorable little ”Peter Parker” kiddo also brought a delightful energy to the place. Our experience at Dahun Villa not only inspired us to explore more of Siargao's beauty but also to consider setting up our own business to prolong our stay on this enchanting island. The connections we made with local business owners during our stay will be invaluable as we pursue this dream. If you're looking for a tranquil, welcoming retreat on Siargao, I highly recommend a stay at Dahun Villa.

There was no mirror in the room, and the chairs in the room were disproportionately low compared to the table, making it difficult for me to work It would be perfect if the stairs up were cleaned several times a day because all the dirt from it goes into the room But overall the vibe is good.

Pros: • hotel is new, they only opened last August • room was very spacious • beds, pillows, comforter were very comfortable • bathroom was very spacious with complimentary toothbrushes, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner • airconditioning was superb • room has a balcony (that we didn’t use) Cons • because it’s new, apparently their how shower has not been installed yet. But they provide hot water from the kitchen and will bring to the room in a pail 😂 • location is not ideal as it is a good 10-minute walk on a dirt road to get to the main tourism road • breakfast wasn’t impressive. The tapa and the tocino were tough. All in all, it’s still value for money. The entries crew were very friendly and accommodating. And I will still consider staying there next time.

Greeted with the warmest welcome by both foreign and local volunteers. They also have a cafe that serves good food and drinks. Loooved my short but sweet stay here. ❤️

Eddie's Beach bar , is a great location and a very good quiet chilled place. It has beach access at the bottom of the garden great for a morning swim. The rooms are large , with hot showers and a nice balcony patio area . I would highly recommend this place for exploring Siargo Island.
