Hotel Dengan Kolam di Bar, Montenegro

Very disappointed. Booked through a (the) biggest online booking app which gives it an 8.6/10, 'fabulous' review score. Where to start? We arrived by hire car and expected a parking space as the advert said parking available; it isn't unless you arrive very early or late. We parked on a street a quarter of a mile away and dragged our luggage. The aircon barely worked. The wardrobe fitted three hangers due to it being about nine inches deep, yet continued with comedy shelves up to the ceiling at what? 8ft high? Great views from enormous windows on two walls but the curtains didn't cover them and were so this they might as well not have been there. The room was bathed in searing bright sunlight from dawn. Add to that one curtain hanging half off. Advertised as free WiFi. Yes, there is free WiFi but only on the lower floors and lobby. We were on 3rd floor of seven (?) and couldn't pick up a signal. (Galaxy S21 Ultra and iPhone 11). Breakfast included but it's a very lame buffet with cold scrambled egg, cold sausages, a bit of fruit, muesli, cheese, bread etc. Fruit juices are really watered down cheap squash. No coffee available for half our stay because the coffee machine was broken. I asked at reception where we could get coffee, I was answered with a shrug and ”it's broken”. There's no safe in the room. There's no plug in the sink. There's no bottle opener nor corkscrew. Every so often there's a bubbling sound from the shower drain and a great puff of sewer stench comes through! On the plus side it was clean and spacious.... My recommendation though is to avoid it.

This is a fabulous looking hotel, situated on a rocky outcrop with incredible 270 degree views over the Adriatic. The rooms are nice and spacious and the outdoor setting is great. Unfortunately the running of the hotel doesn’t meet the same high standards as its appearance. During our two night stay it seemed to be very under-staffed, with no pool attendants and not enough wait staff. Our room wasn’t cleaned and we only learned afterwards that room cleaning is only every other day. The water was running in our room only some of the time. The gardens aren’t maintained and the pool is a little murky. With more effort this could be a truly 5 star resort. It’s still worth a visit though due to the amazing location and views.

Modny, 4 gwiazdkowy kurort w Czarnogórze. Dobre miejsce na romantyczny wypad we dwoje nad Adriatyk. Czysto, schludnie i spokojnie, pokoje codziennie sprzątane. Smaczne śniadania i obiado-kolacje w formie szwedzkiego stołu w hotelowej restauracji. Dwa baseny (wewnętrzny i zewnętrzny) i spa oraz prywatna, dość kamienista plaża. Baseny codziennie czyszczone. Leżaki w cenie. Bardzo miła i dość profesjonalna obsługa. Piękne widoki z pokoju hotelowego i tarasu restauracji na morze i port jachtowy. Czasem zbyt tłoczno w lokalnych restauracyjkach, zwłaszcza gdy zacumują w porcie wielkie wycieczkowce. Dużo atrakcji w mieście. Polecam zwłaszcza zwiedzanie Starego Baru oraz wyprawy stateczkiem do Budwy i Kotoru.

The incredible food, view and service! We were at the lounge zone on the 5th floor where restaurant with the best view is located. The look and atmosphere is great, food is even better. We were here 2 times with seafood menu. Starters from the fresh raw seafood, truffles and veggies. Risotto and pasta is better than in many places in Italian restaurants. Perfect balance of taste, consistency, and aroma. Best food in the area thanks to the chef Mladen. He lived long in Italy and got the best out of it. He is a great cool and a very nice person! Come and try!
