Great location in Phong Nha, minutes walk to where the bus drops you off. The only good thing other than the location and price was the help the staff provided with logistics. Diep was very helpful arranging transportation for us, even on her day off. We chose this hotel because it was listed as a 3 star hotel, not sure if that is accurate. The hostels in the town looked much nicer, listed as 2 stars, but we are a little bit older and not sure we would fit in with the younger patrons shown in the hostel pictures. Though we wouldn’t have used their large pool due to the rainy weather, it was only half full of water and not usable. The breakfast included in the room price was limited; might want to inquire ahead of time.

It's nicely near the train. So if you just like me have to stay for a day or two, it's really nice. It has an elevator as well what makes it with a lot of luggage comfortable. I was alone in the room normally its a room for four. You dont have curtains, so there is no privacy in the beds. I didn't care because i was the only one, but yeah, it depends on how much privacy is important for you. Really big lockers as well for your luggage.

It’s a great hotel, offers a lot more than expected. Most likely coming here you are picked up by tour buses or taxi in any case so location less important. Great coffee with a real barista. Hotel is almost new and everything is modern. Breakfast is more than OK.

We had a very quick stop in Dong Hoi and this hotel was amazing value for money for us. We checked in early in the morning and basically just needed a place to rest, shower and charge our phones, so this place exceeded our expectations. The room was big and clean, the AC was good and the bathroom was clean and good. 7 minutes drive from the train station. Great value for money!

Overwhelming service standards, absolutely value for money in terms of the luxurious experience you’ll receive. Enjoyed the bathtub, and absolutely loved the bath robe that they provided - so cute and comfortable! The staff also gave great advice on the nearby amenities (supermarket). Only complain that we have was that the aircon felt a little warm during our visit.

Fantastic Homestay! A room with everything you need, good self cooked food and a perfect service from pick up, organization of sleeper bus, supporting with activities and delivery to the bus pick up! Oleh kerana hotel asal dibatalkan tanpa sebab, hotel ini ditempah buat sementara waktu. Perkhidmatan kaunter penerimaan tetamu hotel bagus, biliknya bersih, tetapi beberapa kemudahannya rosak dan tidak diperbaiki, dan ada beberapa pupae serangga yang tergantung di dinding. Semasa saya meninggalkan rumah pada keesokan harinya, saya telah menutup kadnya, tolong bersihkan bilik, tetapi ketika saya kembali ke hotel pada jam 6 petang, saya mendapati bilik itu tidak dibersihkan. Penduduk lain di tingkat yang sama mesti membunyikan loceng pintu yang salah dari semasa ke semasa.

Perfect place to stay if you want to be right in Phong Nha town. Personally I prefer being further out in nature but since we stayed here one night to catch the bus to Hue, it was perfect. The pool is great. Staff are super friendly and did our laundry really quickly.

The Homestay was basic but clean. In the area you should not be expecting high-end accomodation along that stretch so I find Thao Nguyen good as it offers clean bathroom and room. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with big rooms.
