Hotel Romantic di Anhui, China

This trip, I stayed at the Baiyun Hotel with my child while visiting Huangshan. We took a shuttle bus from the South Gate into the scenic area, then transferred to the Yungu Cableway. After getting off the cableway, we enjoyed the scenery along the way and hiked for about an hour and a half to Bright Summit. Baiyun Hotel is just a short descent from Bright Summit. I honestly didn't have high expectations for the accommodation, knowing how difficult it is to transport supplies up the mountain, figuring it was just a place to sleep. However, Baiyun Hotel pleasantly surprised me! First, the check-in process at the front desk was quick, and they even assigned a dedicated service butler to lead us to our room. The butler helped confirm our dinner reservation, explained the room facilities, turned on the heating, and reminded us that the rack above could be used to dry clothes. Although the room wasn't large, it had many thoughtful and meticulous touches. In addition to the standard amenities in the bathroom, there was a foot-soaking tub (with three disposable liners), and the butler brought us two herbal foot-soaking packs. Laundry detergent was provided on the wall, and there were two umbrellas. The room also had two clean down jackets available for guests who wanted to go out early. The butler even brought some fruit and local snacks. Throughout our stay, from dinner and breakfast to weather forecasts and check-out, the butler provided attentive and meticulous care. In the evenings, the hotel offered folk performances, and at 5:30 AM, they organized groups in the lobby to take early risers to a sunrise viewing spot. While the hardware might be limited at Baiyun Hotel, situated at the peak of Huangshan, its service awareness and attention to detail could rival many five-star hotels. I highly recommend it to anyone planning to stay on Huangshan mountain.

This was a spontaneous trip, but the stay was incredibly satisfying. I don't travel much, but when I decided to go, I compared many hotels and read countless reviews before finally choosing Manbu Yunjing. Among four-star hotels, its price isn't the highest, but the experience was truly satisfying, almost touching. I used to think 'you get what you pay for,' but this hotel showed me something different. Every staff member works towards providing guests with an excellent experience. The lobby is beautifully decorated and atmospheric, with many unique handicrafts and trinkets, diverging from traditional hotel designs and offering a fresh feel. From the garage entrance, there are clear signs, and the elevators are filled with thoughtful reminders. The rooms are spacious, and the beds are a generous 2 meters. The amenity kit includes not only the usual items but also lotion and single-use laundry detergent, showing great attention to detail. I stayed on the fifth floor, where the laundry room is also located. While not huge, it's very tidy. For the price point, the breakfast is also excellent, offering everything you'd expect. Considering its location in Hefei, all of the hotel's amenities and services are well worth the price. I truly believe the owner has perfected both service and value-added experiences.

Rooms here are really popular! I hesitated because the prices were so high, and then the B-wing rooms were all gone, so I quickly booked a room in the A-wing. Turns out, the A-wing is more expensive for a reason! The breakfast area and even the B-wing itself are completely different the next day! The A-wing is in the same building as the front desk, and the rooms are fantastic. There were even four pairs of slippers inside! Saved me the trouble of having to go to the front desk to ask for slippers for the kids! When I checked in, I asked about adding breakfast, and they actually gave complimentary breakfast to my family, including the kids! Huge thanks to the front desk lady, Xiao Jiang! She even added me on WeChat and sent me the sunrise and sunset times (even though we ended up missing them). Though the room was a bit small, the layout was great, and it even had a window sill! It would be even better if there was a bay window cushion on it~ haha. The room also had two down jackets for guests to wear when going to see the sunrise – that's incredibly thoughtful! Compared to the B-wing where I stayed 7 years ago, I'd say, if you don't mind the extra 200, the A-wing is much better! Oh, and they also gave us a complimentary souvenir! Not sure if that's a special perk just for Chinese New Year.

This stay was so comfortable! The hotel is super conveniently located, a 7-minute walk from the snack street, and surrounded by supermarkets and restaurants. The room was clean and bright, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the noise-free nights were quiet, allowing for a wonderful night's sleep. Junjun's service was friendly and efficient, and the check-in was quick. He also offered tips for visiting the scenic spots. Every attention to detail was meticulous, with separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom, and no odor. It's an excellent value, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in this city!

My stay at InterContinental Hefei truly exceeded my expectations, and I just have to give it a glowing review! Full marks, highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ✅ The huge floor-to-ceiling windows offer direct views of Swan Lake. The lake view during the day is expansive, and the night view is dazzling, making for an incredible visual experience! ✅ The suite is spacious and comfortable, with a well-designed layout. The bedding is cozy, and the bathroom facilities are complete. The attention to detail and quality are top-notch, making it feel very much like home! The living room and bedroom are clearly separated, providing excellent privacy. It's perfect for enjoying the view, relaxing, or working. ✅ The service was efficient and warm. From check-in to room service, responses were prompt and the staff were friendly, making me feel truly valued. The food tasted great and was consistently high quality. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, balancing both taste and experience. Overall, my stay was comfortable, relaxing, and of high quality – absolutely impeccable. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hefei, and I will definitely stay here again next time!

Booked through Ctrip, and they really treat Ctrip guests well. The staff were super friendly, and our room even got upgraded! A special shout-out to Xiao Song at the Grand Hyatt's front desk – her service was incredibly fast. She responded to our requests within literally 10 seconds, which was amazing. Also, even though the Grand Hyatt opened in 2019, the hotel is really well-maintained. It was quite busy during the Chinese New Year, but there were five or six staff members at the entrance helping with luggage and assisting kids getting in and out, which was a really nice touch. The room was huge and spacious, and despite the hotel being a bit older, there were no strange odors. I'll definitely stay at the Grand Hyatt again next time I'm in Hefei.

I've stayed at this guesthouse twice now. The first time was with friends, and I liked it so much I brought my family back for a second stay. Compared to a standard hotel, the ambiance here is really unique, with a 'step-by-step, scene-by-scene' feel. I'd highly recommend bringing Hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing) for photos; they'll turn out beautifully. The hotel service is excellent. Any requests communicated via WeChat were responded to very quickly. I'd definitely recommend this guesthouse to anyone visiting Huangshan or Huizhou.

The lady at the front desk was so kind and offered very attentive service! The room was spotless, with a great wet/dry bathroom separation. The TV comes with a Tencent VIP membership, which is fantastic for watching current shows in super clear quality! The breakfast was quite rich and varied, with beef noodles and sweet fermented rice with red beans – so delicious! It's close to the light rail station, making travel convenient, and there's a lounge on the first floor. Plus, there's a convenience store nearby. All in all, a pleasant surprise!

This hotel on Huangshan (Yellow Mountain) is steeped in history and boasts a superb location right by the Guest-Greeting Pine. The service was also very good. Be aware that even from the cable car exit, there are quite a few stairs to climb to reach the hotel. The hotel restaurant is a bit small and the ambiance is just so-so, plus the dishes are quite pricey. However, that's generally to be expected at the top of a mountain. Overall, I had a great experience. The room was very new with modern and complete facilities, and the view from the floor-to-ceiling windows was excellent. I'd definitely recommend it.

Absolutely thrilled with our stay! When I booked, I mentioned it was for a lady's birthday and hoped for a good view, not really expecting much. But to my surprise, the hotel decorated the room, prepared a cake, and even gave us lots of little gifts! On top of that, we got a suite upgrade! My mom was over the moon, haha. There was a New Year's Eve performance in the evening, and I was so surprised to see the famous Face-Changing show (it's real, I can attest to that!). They also had a shadow puppet show. Do the staff here really wear so many hats these days? The voice acting was amazing! There was also a dumpling-making activity, but we were too tired to join, though we did smell the delicious dumplings! The facilities were top-notch; the water pressure was excellent, making for a very comfortable shower, and it was wonderfully warm at night for sleeping. Now, let's talk about our New Year's trip to Huangshan. On New Year's Eve, we took the Yungu cable car up the mountain, stopping to see a few sights along the way, and quickly checked into the hotel. The location was very convenient. There was light rain and heavy fog on the mountain. The next morning, we headed to Shixin Peak at 6 AM, hoping to catch the sunrise. The hotel-provided windproof cotton jackets kept us perfectly warm. Around 6:30 AM, the fog cleared a bit, and the most stunning sight was the ink-wash-like cloud sea around the 'Brush of a Dream' (Meng Bi Sheng Hua). People returning earlier had said the fog was too thick to see the sunrise, but we still went and it totally paid off! The layers of rime ice were fantastical and magical. Then we returned to the hotel for breakfast, with plenty of time! After checking out, we turned right from the hotel entrance, taking a different route to ascend Bright Summit, enjoying the scenery all the way, and then took the Yuping cable car down the mountain. Even though we didn't see the sunrise, we weren't disappointed at all. My mom was happy throughout the whole trip, and the rime ice was truly beautiful! P.S.: The hotel's architecture and decor were totally to my aesthetic taste, and there was even a book about Huangshan on the bedside table.
