Hotel Romantic di Guangxi, China

I came here with my friends during the summer holiday, specifically for their restaurant which is on the must-try list. While waiting for a table, we found out they also have guest rooms. Hotel guests get a 10% discount and priority seating, so after seeing the rooms, we decisively booked one. Honestly, both their restaurant and guest rooms are excellent. The summer prices were also very reasonable, and the staff were all very polite and enthusiastic. It was our first time in Yangshuo, and they even recommended some fun attractions. The hotel can also book tickets for various scenic spots, so it felt like we didn't really need to plan our route much as they had everything sorted for us. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I bring my family next time. It's very close to the riverside and West Street, both within walking distance. The main thing is, their restaurant is truly amazing! Don't miss it if you come to Yangshuo!

I have to give a big shout-out to the hotel's Front Office team! I stayed here for four nights, and the facilities and service were impeccable. Even though the hotel has been around for a while, everything is incredibly well-maintained. The duty manager, Tommy Tang, was very enthusiastic and helpful. There were children jumping around upstairs, which was affecting my rest. Manager Tang handled my issue very seriously and responsibly, and made sure to properly hand it over so that the next day's duty manager, Luo Hongping, could help me resolve the problem perfectly and communicate effectively. The hotel's indoor and outdoor swimming pools are also very large, with comfortable water temperatures and crystal-clear water. Zhang Weiwei from the recreation center provided excellent service. Shangri-La will definitely be my top choice again in the future.

The room was spacious and beautiful, and we had a dedicated, very responsible butler. They provided fruits, afternoon tea, and even car service for our outings, plus a travel photography session. Facilities: Very good, the mattress is super comfortable to sleep on, and the bathroom has a wet/dry separation, plus there's a bathtub! It's not a cheap tub either; you can tell they chose good quality. Most of the room facilities are great. Cleanliness: As soon as you enter the room, it feels very fresh, no strange odors, and the aromatherapy scent is lovely, giving a very comfortable feeling. Environment: The hotel is just a few dozen meters from West Street, and crucially, it's next to the pedestrian street, yet there's absolutely no noise from inside the hotel. West Street is in front, and the river is out the back, making evening strolls very pleasant. The guesthouse lobby also has a great design, perfect for photos. It's very quiet at night for sleeping, and you can even watch the sunrise and enjoy the scenery from the terrace. It's basically one of the tallest buildings on West Street. Overall, I'd give this guesthouse a top-tier rating.

Staying here felt like stepping into a traditional Chinese landscape painting, and the 270-degree panoramic view was absolutely breathtaking! The cantilevered hot spring was perfect for soaking away all my fatigue, the service was attentive, and it was a fantastic spot for photos. There's no need to think about anything here; just spending the whole day relaxing is the ultimate vacation. The hotel also offers a complimentary travel photoshoot, which turned out great, and the photographer was excellent. Highly recommend!

Our stay at Jiyun Shangyuan during our Yangshuo trip was a delightful surprise. The hotel is nestled in Jiwodu Village within the Ten-Mile Gallery, right by the Yulong River. Surrounded by mountains, it offers a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of West Street. The entire property is designed as an elegant new Chinese-style courtyard, incorporating charming Zhuang ethnic elements, creating a wonderful ambiance. The rooms are very spacious, featuring huge panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing you to enjoy views of the misty peaks right from your bed. The bedding and mattresses are of high quality, the bathroom facilities are fully equipped, and the cleanliness is impeccable. The hotel's infinity pool with mountain views and the second-floor observation terrace are perfect photo spots. The sunsets are absolutely breathtaking, and you can even enjoy a complimentary Zhuang ethnic costume photo experience.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The room was very spacious, clean, and hygienic. We booked a balcony room with a great river view. The washing machine and dryer were super convenient, making it perfect for families traveling with kids. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about local attractions, offering excellent recommendations. Plus, booking tickets through the hotel was even cheaper than buying them online. The Chinese restaurant on the first floor and the Western restaurant on the fourth floor were both delicious. I'll definitely book this hotel again next time I visit Yangshuo.

The floor-to-ceiling window in the room offered an absolutely stunning view. Opening the window revealed the green mountains and the Yulong River, making for incredible photos. I specifically chose this hotel for the window view and the swimming pool, and my child absolutely loved it upon arrival. **Environment:** A thousand square meters of lawn plus an infinity pool. The mountain-and-water themed blue pool was perfect for amazing pictures. **Activities:** Free-roaming deer, daily cormorant fishing performances, lacquer fan making, and petting zoo feeding. **Food & Stay:** With its own restaurant, we spent the whole day at the hotel and didn't bother eating out. The hotel food was also excellent, and they even offered free sweet soup in the evening. It was a welcome escape from the noise of crowded guesthouses. The hotel buildings were well-equipped, and the soft furnishings, with their wooden and Instagrammable style, were top-notch. There was no need to rush. We spent the whole day leisurely, relaxing on the lawn, playing in the pool, and feeding the deer. It felt like many hotels and cafes in Yangshuo have great aesthetics, and the scenery is beautiful, but the street aesthetics are truly dismal. This was my child's first travel photoshoot. Usually, they refuse to be photographed, but the Miao ethnic costumes for the photoshoot at the hotel were beautiful and relatively clean, so we were able to get some great shots right there. Thumbs up! The shoot was quick, which was great since it was hot, allowing us to quickly get our photos and head back to the hotel for coffee.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The view from the room was absolutely breathtaking and made the experience even more memorable. The room was spacious, comfortable, and exceptionally clean, with great attention to detail in maintaining hygiene and overall quality. The service was outstanding. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with a warm attitude. Every aspect of my stay, from check-in to daily service, was handled smoothly and efficiently. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations with its beautiful views, excellent service, and comfortable, well-maintained rooms. I truly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

This hotel offers exceptional service for its price point. Upon arrival, someone immediately assisted us with our luggage, and the lovely front desk staff escorted us to our room. The service was effortlessly attentive whenever we needed anything. I also have to commend the breakfast – the live kitchen cooked fresh dishes on the spot, with no shortcuts taken, and refills were prompt. We visited on a weekday, and they didn't compromise on food quality just because there were fewer guests. The rice noodles were delicious! Every breakfast item showcased local specialties while maintaining great flavor. They even had freshly grilled steaks, and the chefs were all smiles, which really brightened our day. It was very hot in Guilin in July, and my child spent an hour in the 5th-floor pool. They thoughtfully activated the wave machine for us! Even though the pool is small, it was perfectly adequate for kids to have fun, and they provided inner tubes and kickboards. The room itself was even better – we had a direct view of the Twin Pagodas. It rained that evening in Guilin, and the Twin Pagodas in the rain were absolutely stunning. I must praise the sofa on the balcony; it was incredibly comfortable! You could practically sleep on it – not those stiff, uncomfortable types of sofas, which shows real attention to detail. The room offered views of the Twin Pagodas, the lake, and the surrounding mountains in the distance; the scenery was breathtaking! This will definitely be our first choice next time we visit Guilin!
