my son and I stayed one night here on our way back from Yangshuo and it was a great experience , i would highly recommend staying here - the hotel is in a great location at the entrance to a busy shopping street with night market stalls , opposite the entrance to the ancient city and a 10 minute walk to the moon and sun towers - all worth a look - the hotel itself is modern , very clean and quiet with spacious rooms, a relaxing lobby area and a rooftop bar and restaurant with great views over the city and to the mountains - Patrick the manager speaks excellent English and was super helpful with local knowledge and recommendations - we would definitely stay here again if in Gulin

Beautiful & Peaceful 🌿🏯 We spent two wonderful nights here. 😊 What we loved: · They gave us a free room upgrade – a spacious room with a very large king bed. 🛏️ · Separate dining area, a traditional tea ceremony corner, and a walk-in wardrobe (perfect for suitcases and clothes). · Spacious bathroom with a freestanding bathtub, two sinks, and a shower. 🛁🚿 · Minibar with a fridge, kettle, and everything needed. Also a large balcony with a lounge chair and a drying rack. ☕🌿 · The hotel is located in a beautiful area – far enough from the center to enjoy peace and quiet and amazing views. Great for photo sessions (they even offer traditional costumes and a photographer). 📸🏞️ · We went to a concert and didn’t have time for dinner. We asked the hotel via WeChat to order some dishes for us, and they kindly agreed. After the concert, dinner was waiting for us in the room. 🍜🙏 · Later that night, the electricity went off in our room. We asked the reception for help, and they fixed it very quickly. ⚡🔧 Suggestion for improvement: · It would be helpful to install electric heated towel racks in the rooms – especially since it rains often here. That way guests can dry any type of clothing safely. 🧺✨ Overall, a truly peaceful and beautiful stay. Highly recommended for relaxation and even a photoshoot! 🌸

They have full package from free 30 minutes photoshoot, personal butler service, free shuttle to and from West Street to the hotel, free breakfast, Chinese dessert at night for two and they even provided us a free gift upon check-out! It has a complete amenities for free, such as the mini bar!! No regret booking this hotel for our anniversary, because the hotel surprised us with a cute room decorations, room upgrade with a private pool and even gave us a free cake for celebration!! I could say that this is the best hotel to stay in Yangshuo and will definetely recommend this place to all our friends and family

Penginapan yang sangat selesa, dengan aroma, muzik tidur, Xiao Du, layanan yang pantas. Meja depan mempunyai 'peti harta karun' yang sangat comel dengan pelbagai barang keperluan untuk pelancong seperti tisu basah, kit jahitan, uncang teh yang boleh diambil bila-bila masa. Terdapat juga teh petang dan makan malam ikan bir, dan harganya sangat berpatutan. Lokasinya juga betul-betul di sebelah Two Rivers and Four Lakes, sesuai untuk bersiar-siar. Sangat jarang ditemui! Wajib beri ulasan baik!

It was incredible one of our favourite spots in China. The room had the best view we have ever had and was very well located close to the west street where it was all happening but also far enough away that it had the peace and quite it was incredible. We rented the bikes and road for multiple days through the youngshou county areas and had some life changing views we have never seen anything like it it was incredible. The staff was perfect and was always there to help and support and went the extra mile to help us. Special thank to 免贵姓李 who was the best host we could have asked for! We will for sure be back as it was one of our favourite spots after 6 months of travel through Asia

If you are traveling to Guilin. You must stay in this Hotel. Just wonderful. Staff is so nice and helping. They give you free fishing gear for fishing in Li River. They give you free sound therapy that make sure you fall a sleep in 5min. They give your 3 free professional photo click with their professional photographer and will give you professional edited photos for your memory. They have plenty of native costume to select from for this photography. View is best. People are perfect. Perfect breakfast. Best Hotel. Go for it.

The hotel exceeded our expectations and we recommend it wholeheartedly! The location is exceptionally easy to find and everything from dining to entertainment was perfect. The staff at the hotel provided exceptional service. Room was super clean and we even were able to check in right after we got off the ferry from Guilin. The receptionist was particularly courteous and patient. The cleaning lady I encountered in the elevator was also very polite. The breakfast was tasty and the dining environment was pleasant. The hotel is close to the river and there are lots of things around like scooter rentals, coffee shops, spas, and a convenient store. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip!

Gulong Stay Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) I recently stayed near Gulong Canyon and had a wonderful experience overall. The area is surrounded by lush green mountains and rivers, so the views are absolutely stunning, especially in the early morning with mist in the valley. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and had a rustic charm that fit the natural setting. The main attraction — the glass bridge and skywalk — was breathtaking (and a little scary if you’re afraid of heights). Staff were friendly and helpful, though English was limited, so having a translation app helped. Local food was fresh and tasty, especially the river fish dishes. One tip: bring comfortable walking shoes and be prepared for some steep climbs. It’s best to visit on weekdays to avoid heavy crowds. Would I come back? Definitely — especially to enjoy more hiking trails and maybe try the zipline next time.

This was the best hotel of our entire trip to China. The staff were wonderful—they helped us with all sorts of issues—and we had the best room with a beautiful view from the window. The breakfasts were delicious, and the staff were always attentive. I can’t wait to come back here again and again. 💗

We had an absolutely wonderful stay and couldn’t be happier with our experience. The service throughout the hotel was truly excellent, but we would especially like to highlight Tony, the butler. His kindness, attentiveness, and genuine care made our stay feel incredibly special. He anticipated every need with such warmth and professionalism – it’s rare to experience this level of service. We also loved the café. The coffee was absolutely delicious and quickly became one of our favorite little rituals during the stay. It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. The rooms are simply beautiful – elegant, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. Everything felt comfortable, calm, and very well maintained. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we would happily return anytime. Thank you for such a memorable stay!
