Hotel Romantic di Guangxi, China

Out of all my travels in China, this was hands down the BEST hotel I’ve stayed at—and that’s saying a lot. From the moment we arrived, the level of warmth and genuine care from every single staff member stood out immediately. The front desk team was incredible—friendly, patient, and impressively multilingual, which made everything so much easier since my Chinese is limited. But what really made this place unforgettable were the people behind the scenes. The aunties who cleaned our rooms were honestly some of the kindest, most thoughtful people we encountered on our trip. They didn’t just do their job—they went above and beyond in ways that made us feel truly cared for. The kitchen staff were just as amazing. Every interaction felt warm and sincere. They even folded our laundry when we accidentally keft it in the dryer. And let’s talk about the breakfast—phenomenal. Not only was the quality outstanding, but the menu changed daily, which kept things exciting. If you’re debating whether to add breakfast to your stay… just do it. The overall vibe of the hotel is serene, peaceful, and elevated—it genuinely feels like a 5-star experience. And it always smells nice. Location-wise? 10/10. You’re within walking distance of many of Guilin’s main attractions, and right outside the entrance is a lively night market and shopping area. It’s the kind of convenience you don’t fully appreciate until you have it. I was booking for my family, which included three seniors, so my priorities for hotels were: location, cleanliness, safety, and accessibility. This hotel checked every single box—and then exceeded expectations in ways I didn’t even anticipate. If you’re considering where to stay in Guilin, pick this one 10/10. This is a genuine review written from someone who just stayed there and was traveling with her family from California :)

this hotel has a great view! Even the lobby is aesthetic and the staffs are super helpful and friendly.. they even help us to book the romantic show attraction tickets and even provide a private car for us to the venue without a nadditional charge. The room also very very clean and comfortable. Even though this hotel is not located nearby the west street area but it offer exclusivity and peaceful stay for you. Really had a great stay and worth every penny. Things to improve maybe the breakfast. Would be better if have more variety of dishes 😄

I had a truly unforgettable stay here! The staff is incredibly responsive and attentive. A huge shout out to our butler, Mayling Cindy, and our photographer, Xiao Zeng—you both were amazing! Also, it was so sweet of the team to keep me stocked up with drinkable water over the last two days; such a thoughtful gesture! 💧 The desserts were also a highlight, especially the one I had yesterday (absolutely delicious, though I feel bad for not being able to finish both! 😅). But honestly, the room and the view are just on another level—literally breathtaking and beyond words. It’s been so hard to ‘move on’ from this experience! Wishing the whole team nothing but health, happiness, and continued success. May you all be blessed with abundance! Thank you for making this trip so special. ✨

Memang seperti yang dikatakan oleh ulasan, nisbah harga-prestasi adalah sangat baik, pada asasnya keperluan harian adalah percuma, dan terdapat perkhidmatan dobi percuma. Walau bagaimanapun, barangan keperluan harian percuma, minuman dan buah-buahan di hotel tidak diisi semula pada waktunya, dan banyak yang kosong. Pembersihan perlu diperbaiki. Cecair ubat nyamuk kosong semasa saya mula-mula mendaftar masuk, dan lantai tidak dimop dan meja tidak dilap semasa saya meneruskan penginapan saya. Tidak banyak jenis sarapan pagi.

We really enjoyed our stay at Yuesu waterfront hotel. The room was so nice. The beds were comfortable, the shower was clean, and the air conditioning was very cooling during a hot day. The room was large and spacious. And the view was very beautiful. You cannot hear any sounds from the road, it was very quiet in the room. The best was the service. The people at the front desk were incredibly helpful. They helped us book a cruise on the Li River, a bamboo raft on the Yulong river, and drove us to the drop off for the Li River cruise without a fee. They also gave us as much water bottles as we liked during the hot weather. They even helped us organise a driver to take us to Longji rice Terrace and it was cheaper than taking Didi. We really recommend staying here, the service was amazing and the hotel room was beautiful!

The hotel staff were fantastic. When they noticed my son had a leg injury, they immediately offered us a wheelchair. We also enjoyed a free craft session, fishing activity, and a healing singing bowl class. The staff helped us book a boat trip and collect the tickets. Their support via WeChat, both before and during our stay, was excellent.

The hotel exceeded our expectations and we recommend it wholeheartedly! The location is exceptionally easy to find and everything from dining to entertainment was perfect. The staff at the hotel provided exceptional service. Room was super clean and we even were able to check in right after we got off the ferry from Guilin. The receptionist was particularly courteous and patient. The cleaning lady I encountered in the elevator was also very polite. The breakfast was tasty and the dining environment was pleasant. The hotel is close to the river and there are lots of things around like scooter rentals, coffee shops, spas, and a convenient store. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip!

Best location in Wuzhou. Very beautiful hotel with lots of marble. Nice dinner buffett. Also many good restaurants on the side street of the hotel. Good prices

It’s not only the uninterrupted views of the karst mountains that are the draw with this hotel. They have done everything to maximise these view from the placement of the bed, the double aspect windows and round bathtub, again with views. The robes and cute tea set. There is a lift but it only goes to the 6th floor, you will have a flight of stairs to climb if you are on the 8th but staff help with luggage. Nice relaxation areas of a garden, breakfast room and 2 pools. Basic shop and restaurant near by. Great shower. Ward of warning, the tatami style bad is low and really really quite firm. Reception staff were fantastic at arranging cars and excursions.

We extremely regret we only spent one night in the hotel. It’s perhaps the best stays in Yangshuo. We had an amazing time  .  And there technically nothing went wrong. Everything about the stay and the related aspects are amazingly beautiful. Firstly the view are mind blowing. Service is great. Tony who spoke English has been exceptionally helpful. Thank you Tony. Staff are really polite and helped us for every request. We were a family of 4 with two young children.  Right next to the hotel there are multiple scooters and fields where you can ride a scooter and it’s must and don’t miss the ride. Morning breakfast was good and staff helped to customize for us. You will feel bad while you leave the hotel. This is for sure.
