Hotel Romantic di Guangxi, China

The hotel staff were warm, polite and friendly. They were helpful in regards to recent closures locally because of the rain. The room itself was overlooking the East West Alley and was clean and spacious enough without feeling cramped. Breakfast was delicious. Would recommend and return next time! The location was convenient - right at the start of East West Alley and Zhengyang Pedestrian Street!

Couldn’t have chosen a better stay in Yangshuo! This hotel exceeded my expectations by far, and it’s well worth the price. I would like to start by mentioning the breakfast, with plenty of both Chinese and Western options, among which the Guilin rice noodles were the absolute highlight for me! I loved eating this local dish every morning—light yet filling, and so rich in flavor! Another highlight was, without a doubt, the large pool with stunning views. It was always super clean and never crowded—a must in this weather! Also, the whole outdoor area is perfect for taking lovely pictures. The room didn’t disappoint—big, bright, and luxurious, with a lovely view of the mountains (opening the curtains every morning was a show!) and a cozy bathtub. Finally, I would like to thank the hotel staff for being so helpful and kind throughout the stay, and for helping us book a taxi to our next destination. Honestly, there’s nothing bad I can say about this place, and I would totally recommend it. Can’t wait to be back!

It was a fantastic stay at this gem. Right in the heart of West Street , easy to get to anywhere. We arrived early and our room was not ready. Girls at the reception were super helpful and upgraded us to a beautiful two level room on the 7th floor. Modern , clean , roomy , VERY comfortable bed a nice bath with a nice view. Oh and nice thick towels 👍 Customer Service was 10/10 , I contacted them on Wechat after I booked with many questions and that was never a problem to them. They were also so very helpful to book tickets for us on our arrival for Hot air balloon and Ruyi Peak with a discount price. We wanted to travel around on a scooter, the lovely girl from the reception offered advices and options to hire a longer or shorter distance scooter. Not only that she personally took us to get one. We had a great deal for one to use for the whole day , return before mid night for 50Y . Overall it was a superb stay . If there is one thing they can improve on , maybe an easy instruction on how to use their projector . A very enjoyable stay and I highly recommend it to all . The service provided by the staffs at the reception is excellent. The best services I have ever encountered during my past 20 years travelling around many countries. For instance when I inform them that there is cigarette smell in the air conditioning, the staff immediately brought an air purifier to my room, that was around midnight. The next day the hotel staff arrange the technician to wash the air filter of the aircon.

Penginapan yang sangat selesa, dengan aroma, muzik tidur, Xiao Du, layanan yang pantas. Meja depan mempunyai 'peti harta karun' yang sangat comel dengan pelbagai barang keperluan untuk pelancong seperti tisu basah, kit jahitan, uncang teh yang boleh diambil bila-bila masa. Terdapat juga teh petang dan makan malam ikan bir, dan harganya sangat berpatutan. Lokasinya juga betul-betul di sebelah Two Rivers and Four Lakes, sesuai untuk bersiar-siar. Sangat jarang ditemui! Wajib beri ulasan baik!

The staff at LS operates like a finely tuned orchestra. Communication was seamless via WeChat and Lynn greeted me very warmly upon arrival. There was no language barrier whatsoever, as she and some of the staff speak English. The hotel offers fantastic complimentary perks, including afternoon tea, car transfers, and a photoshoot. I am so glad I didn't skip the shoot. It ended up being the highlight of my stay. Their onsite photographer is so talented. She knew exactly how to guide my poses and angles, she took the perfect shots and I will cherish my photos forever. Everyone talks about the views at LS, but I found their customer service to be remarkable. Even with a full house, their attentiveness made me feel like the only guest there. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Heshe Hotel stands as one of the finest resorts for accommodation in Guilin. Their hospitality, culinary offerings, ambiance, and staff are all exceptionally delightful and helpful. Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by amazing front desk attendant, Melody. She assisted us through out our stay and made sure we’re comfortable and well taken care of and our tour guide, Eric, who communicated fluently in English, significantly easing our experience as non-Chinese speakers. The owner was equally gracious, sharing their barbecue with us, creating a sense of homeliness. This hotel is located just 15 minutes from the main tourist attractions, with rooms that are very clean and offer breathtaking views. I am definitely coming back again.

One of the best stays I’ve had in a long time…amazing view with a hot tub in the room! The bed was also super comfortable and room was super clean, water pressure was amazing. The staff were also super helpful and went above and beyond to help me. Location is super convenient with Didi’s all around even in low season and everywhere is less than 30 mins away. You can also rent an electric scooter to drive around. The staff also appears to be capable of handling foreign staff as there were people from many different countries staying there. This is not a given in China. Also, they offer cheaper rates on some attractions like Impression and Romance shows.

Only stayed 1 night. Amazing room with a great view. Staff are very attentive & we’re happy to help with any questions we had. Good bar & restaurant. We had breakfast included with our stay & the selection was a mix of Western & Chinese Cuisine & was all very nice. We also took advantage of free offerings the hotel provided of Chinese Cultural photoshoot & foot massage. Good experiences. Nice walks on the hotels doorstep & a busy pedestrian street with food vendors & bars.

We loved the hotel. I booked a room with a 180 degree view but were given a free upgrade to a balcony room facing the Li River -- I would book this room again in a heart beat. It's not just a view, it's an experience. The hotel is situated on a quieter stretch of the Li River within walking distance to Zhenyang Walking Street and an extended walk / short Didi ride away from the main tourist areas, which was GREAT because it gets very noisy down the main stretch. We enjoyed the side of Guilin depicted in paintings, watching the river in the rain and clouds roll past the karst mountains. And obviously, the view of Fubo was striking and hard to miss. 🤭 It was rainy and cold while we were there but my son insisted on swimming when it wasn't pouring it down -- worth it. The view from the pool was cool. The room itself was well proportioned, had good tech -- automated toilets and curtains, free mini bar, housekeeping was good and we had zero cause for complaints of any sort. They delivered food deliveries up by robot and every single staff member was lovely, down to the breakfast noodle station cook who accommodated my requests for poached eggs on their delicious Guilin noodles. Breakfast was simple but good. A big shoutout to Roy who was the most lovely and gracious host. He helped us with most of everything and was just a lovely person to chat too. He speaks exceptional English and was kind enough to tolerate my rusty Chinese and switch between both languages. The hotel package came with a few activities -- a choice of a string decor or postcard and a photo taking service. We decided to do this for kicks and it fantastic! The photographer (originally from Guangzhou -- super nice guy) managed to capture beautiful, candid pictures in a shockingly short amount of time, even in the rain. The picture experience exceeded expectations and my child was so happy he was able to interact with the comorants and go home with professional pictures of that. We saw other comorants in Yangshou but he said the birds by SYSF looked far happier and well taken care of. The only negatives from our stay that I can think of and I'm nit picking here is that the balcony ceiling needs a paint job and the lifts are small and on the slower side, but bigger than most Parisian lifts 😅 I would normally not leave such a long review but this hotel was so lovely and worth sharing. Thank you for the perfect stay. I'd rate the overall experience higher than a lot of 5 star hotels we've stayed at for its heart and character.
