They have a very excellent service that match with their price. The only bad things is their room come with cigarettes smell as I think is because the old building issue. Anyway overall you can get a best experience. You can get greeting and send luggage service to your room when you start stepping in.

There is nothing to complain about this hotel. Service is excellent, room is big and clean. Bed is comfortable. Only thing is it is far away to many places and major shopping mall. Very good for a retreat

For some of the weekend, I took a train from Xi’an to Kaifeng. This weekend, a cold front came in. It didn’t matter because the Gulou night market had everything I needed to adjust. I found some hidden spots (like Bayu Morning Rikaye Alcohol, Lecker’s Leban German Restaurant, and Jieyou Grocery Little Bar) while exploring. The Millenium Park, Gulou Market, and Wansui Shan Wuxia City are very close. The hotel property is great for walking, and the room was really comfortable. Front desk was easy to communicate with despite the language barrier, and everything very efficient. There is a nice gym and pool, but I was out exploring. There is also a shuttle which can take you to a couple of spots nearby. This property is good for conventions or families, but I was fine as a solo traveler. Food good.

Nice and comfortable stay at Shangheyuan Homestay. Great location near Millennium City Park, with lots of food options nearby. Modern, clean room and a friendly host. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel seems to be a trendy hotel for the youngsters for its ”Instagramabilities”. Consider staying in this hotel if you are attending events at the Zhengzhou convention Centre. Else, it's within half an hour to everywhere in Zhengzhou. It is within walking distance on a good weather. The breakfast has a great selection of Chinese and some western foods. It also comes with a free tea session and cocktail session depending on the booking made. The room has good noise insulation. Behind the hotel, there's an open concept mall with a good choice of restaurants and coffee. Kudos to Miss Jane, who has been very helpful with everything to us, being tourists from Malaysia.

Overall pleasant stay! Checkin was breeze, and location of hotel is strategic. 西工小街is right across the hotel, which have a similar concept of kopitiam. Night street with booths selling small crafts and also games like those night markets. Soundproofing was not perfect. Could hear patrons talking along the corridor/opening and closing doors. And level 3 is a smoking level. Not sure why i was assigned the room at the level but we took it anyway without changing because it’s for just 2 nights. Hotel offer breakfast and hightea (2-5pm) which is sad for us because we’re always out to explore and missing it. Breakfast was simple but sufficient to have a hot soup meal to warm up your body before you start the day On checkout day, the hotel also gave us a souvenir each.

Room very spacious and clean. Hotel decor is of old style maybe because it was built quite a while ago. Tried the heated swimming pool which was really nice with the outside temperature around zero degrees C. The breakfast was acceptable and staff was really helpful. Only little imperfection was the Fan coil unit have squeaky noise when at medium and high speed. at low speed was quiet, so the engineering department should up their effort to make the stay more perfect.

The hotel is located in a convenient area, with easy access to transportation, restaurants, and daily necessities, which made getting around very easy. I also appreciated the overall atmosphere of the hotel—it felt calm and well organized. For the price, the value is excellent, and everything was handled properly during my stay. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future and would recommend it to travelers looking for a comfortable and reliable place to stay.
