Hotel Romantic di Henan, China

Overall pleasant stay! Checkin was breeze, and location of hotel is strategic. 西工小街is right across the hotel, which have a similar concept of kopitiam. Night street with booths selling small crafts and also games like those night markets. Soundproofing was not perfect. Could hear patrons talking along the corridor/opening and closing doors. And level 3 is a smoking level. Not sure why i was assigned the room at the level but we took it anyway without changing because it’s for just 2 nights. Hotel offer breakfast and hightea (2-5pm) which is sad for us because we’re always out to explore and missing it. Breakfast was simple but sufficient to have a hot soup meal to warm up your body before you start the day On checkout day, the hotel also gave us a souvenir each.

This lovely hotel is as close as you can get to the Longmen Grottoes! Walk or take the hotel shuttle down the hill, and the river and grottoes are in front of you! Our room had great beds, 2 kinds of pillows (I love the buckwheat pillow, my friend prefers the regular pillow), cool air conditioning (it's hot in July), & excellent, powerful shower with high quality shampoo, etc. Although our Chinese language skills are poor, the staff were patient, helpful, & highly service-oriented, using apps to communicate with us. They explained the finer details of getting tickets to the grottoes & moving around the area. The extensive breakfast buffet was terrific, with a huge range of choices to satisfy all palates--I prefer Chinese breakfast foods, my friend prefers Western style breakfast. Both of us were full and happy, ready to climb all the stairs at the grottoes. It is necessary to mention the dinner restaurant at Dong Shang Hotel. It was excellent. Eggplant=100% fantastic! Cilantro salad=100% wow! I recommend their dinner restaurant even if you are not staying at their hotel.

If I could give 11/10, I would. I came on the day of the heaviest snow this year. Just when I thought everything went wrong, it turned out to be memorable. Flight delay, then airport delayed flight parking due to the snow. My booked Didi (another app) driver left. Was stuck in the ONLY didi driver’s shared car making its way from Zhengzhou to Luoyang — he drove from 11pm to 5.30 am going at 40 to 50 km/h because the roads were iced up and slippery (even his car had slid through and hit the barriers twice) . The owner added the driver’s contact and waited up all night until the early morning for me to check in and carry the luggage up. The price, the location and the very nice owner make this homestay an excellent one — better than a hotel. There isn’t any elevators but the owner helps out with the luggage. The room is large and comfortable. He had turned on the heating for me before I arrived to warm up the room. The breakfast is delicious. The homestay is near to Luoyi Ancient city (a few minutes walk) and Luoyi Ancient City metro. His hand-drawn map highlights all the good spots. His daughter is adorable too.

This is a very low density hotel. Suitable for those who want to enjoy the quietness and calmness of the environment. The service is top notch. Every room is assigned to a butler, who gets most of the job done, like room service, prepping the hotspring water, food order etc. The replies are prompt and helpful. The food provided was good. It's semi buffet style, which is sensible considering the hotel only caters for such low headcounts. Some food are ordered from the bar. The quality is not bad. There was only one problem. We chose the capsule room. Mainly because we wanted to enjoy the view from the hill. However, there was a construction right in front of us, which blocked the view. We could mainly see the construction signboard which was a little disappointing. The hotel also provided a parting gift on our checkout day. Overall it was a good experience.

Travelled with two young children and the room is lovely, the staff are very friendly. They even helped me with my luggages to the main road, unfortunately I can’t remember their name. Will love to compliment the ladies working at the counter. The only negative feedback was the hotel location is inconvenient to call a didi. It has to be along the main road. It will be better to ask the staff which location to be set.

The location is SUPERB! just opposite 清明上河园‘s main entrance. We could literally go for a walk in the park after dinner. Cannot find a better location. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They also have free laundry service.

Abit difficult to find the entrance. But it just just behind the subway station. Staffs are polite, helpful and friendly.

Staff is very nice and helpful. Good location. Room is clean and tidy. I like how they have plenty of disposable utilities. Note that the building is on second floor so you will need to carry the luggage up the stairs or can call the staff for assistance. Thin walls, you can hear other residents quite clearly regardless they in the corridor or in the room. Stores downstairs and tourists could be quite loud during day time.

酒店前台免費升級了套房，在房間可以邊欣賞窗外園區美景邊與叁倆好友品一杯香茗，庭院式酒店，景色怡人，服務規範主動温馨，早餐精緻。酒店離清明上河園景區步行6～7分鐘路程，非常方便，酒店對面便是開封老字號興盛德，一樓是特產，二樓吃飯要排號。到開封站（坐城際）5公里，不到20分鐘車程，城際到鄭州東站轉乘高鐵超方便。到開封高鐵站半小時車程，高鐵不多，可以坐城際到鄭州旅遊轉乘高鐵，站內轉乘，不要出站，非常方便。酒店距離開封府，大相國寺都不遠，可步行到達，是遊開封的不二選擇

服務：鄭重表揚並感謝鄭州銀基冰雪酒店的服務人員，特別感謝基德和艾莎公主。 4月19日我們一家三口入住愛斯基摩主題親子房。每個孩子入住新的地方都會特別興奮。我兒子由於過於興奮，淘氣玩衣櫃裏的衣裳架時，上面的夾子把左手小手指夾破出血了。我們立即給客房部打電話詢問有沒有創口貼，沒想到馬上送來了不僅僅是一包創口貼，還有消毒碘伏棉簽。在我們入住的第一天就感受到了温暖。[紅色心形R] 4月20日晚上快19:00，我們乘坐酒店小火車去動物王國看生命樹的煙花表演，上小火車一着急，把白天在園區買的老虎巴士泡泡機摔了，結果泡泡機的液體瓶和上半部機器分離了（如圖2綠色畫圈位置），更不巧的是碎了半截液體瓶的螺口卡在了機器裏面。我們想辦法擰半天都不行。大家知道孩子喜歡一樣東西，如果壞了肯定很傷心又着急想要回原來的樣子。我已經做好最壞的打算，明天在酒店商業街重新買個一樣的。看完煙花秀，我們又去動物王國的客服中心借鉗子也沒成功。回酒店路上就在思考怎麼能修好，有可能是泡泡液太黏粘住了，或者熱脹冷縮放冰箱裏冷藏一晚上再弄。回到酒店已經是晚上20:30，我們去酒店前台找到工作人員“基德”（圖3左側的帥小夥），想再借個順手的工具回房間繼續弄。沒想到當時“基德”就説讓我們回房間等，他幫我們修好了送上去。我當時非常吃驚，因為這已經超出他的工作職責了。快21:00，房間門鈴響了，我們看到工作人員“基德”和“艾莎公主”一起來了，帶着修好的泡泡機，竟然幫我們又灌了一瓶泡泡液，更驚喜的是説擔心沒電又送了4節電池。[抽泣R][抽泣R]天吶，我當時的心情，折騰了兩個小時都沒修好，真的是覺得超出預期的温暖和感動，衹會説“謝謝，真是太感謝了！” 我必須要在今天無論多晚也把我真實感受發出來。在此藉助公眾媒體平台，給兩個可愛的工作人員大大的點贊，是他們的熱情貼心讓我們感覺賓至如歸。短短3天的旅程，因為這件事讓我記憶深刻，是之前帶娃旅行從未感受到的。我下次有幸再入住銀基冰雪酒店，希望還能見到他們。在此，再次謝謝你倆。
