It was a very satisfying trip. My family of three checked in on October 8th, booking a two-bedroom, one-living room room at Taoxie Viewing Bamboo. Our housekeeper, Li Sipeng, contacted me a day in advance to confirm our arrival time and provided us with detailed and clear information about the hotel. When we arrived at the parking lot, Li was already waiting for us and upgraded us to Taoxie Viewing Mountain. The experience was incredibly comfortable. My son and I each had our own suite, offering stunning views and an outdoor hot tub and swimming pool. The hotel also provided many helpful perks. The front desk, restaurant staff, driver, and staff were all courteous and helpful. Li was incredibly thoughtful and considerate. Our photographer, April, was also a fantastic photographer, and I was thrilled to capture so many beautiful photos. The restaurant's cuisine was also delicious and suited our tastes. Overall, I had a wonderful impression of Bamboo Valley and will definitely return when I have time.

The service exceeded my expectations. The staff at Chang Le were incredibly welcoming, providing excellent service from the moment they drove me up the mountain in an electric cart, to the explanations along the way, and even the patient explanations of the facilities in the treehouse. The service was exceptionally attentive and meticulous. Both the hot springs at the summit and the private hot springs in my room had excellent water quality and were very comfortable. The environment was quiet, and the hiking around the mountain provided just the right amount of exercise for a relaxing vacation. A very satisfying trip.

I brought my elderly parents here for a hot spring getaway during Chinese New Year, and the hotel's service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. I was genuinely surprised by how seriously they took every request from my parents and fulfilled each one. The complimentary osmanthus cake was delicious! I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time.

Staying at the Four Seasons Suzhou was one of the most delightful getaways I've had recently. The hotel boasts an exclusive island on Jinji Lake, surrounded by water on three sides. Crossing a single bridge transports you away from the city's hustle and bustle, perfectly embodying the 'hidden gem in the city' charm of Jiangnan. It truly sets the benchmark for luxury hotels in Suzhou. The overall design seamlessly blends traditional Suzhou gardens with modern luxury. Every step through the corridors, pavilions over water, lattice windows with borrowed views, and bamboo paths offers a picturesque scene, perfect for stunning photos. The spacious and elegant lobby provides breathtaking lake views, exuding a serene and sophisticated atmosphere with an understated, refined quality at every turn. The guest rooms are large and comfortable, with thoughtful details evident throughout. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the lake and garden views, bringing them indoors. The bedding is soft and luxurious, ensuring an excellent night's sleep. The minibar offers a curated selection of drinks, the tea set is exquisite, and the bathroom features high-end brands. Smart amenities are convenient and intuitive, making adjustments to lighting and temperature effortless and ensuring ultimate comfort. The dining experience exceeded all expectations. Jin Jing Ge, a Michelin Guide-recognized restaurant, serves authentic and refined Su Bang and Huaiyang dishes, meticulously prepared to reflect the freshest seasonal ingredients and true Jiangnan flavors. The all-day dining restaurant offers a rich and varied breakfast, including freshly made Aozao noodles, exquisite pastries, and fresh fruits – a feast for both the eyes and the palate. As always, the service at Four Seasons was impeccable. From the doorman's proactive greeting and luggage assistance to the front desk's efficient check-in, and the butler's thoughtful reminders and swift responses to requests, the entire experience was gentle, attentive, and perfectly balanced. They never intrude but are always there when needed, truly making guests feel at home. The hotel's facilities are comprehensive, with a lakeside promenade, swimming pool, and dedicated kids' areas. Guests can also enjoy activities like sailing and cycling, making for a truly relaxing holiday. The location is excellent, close to attractions like Ligongdi, making travel convenient. This trip offered a perfect blend of Jiangnan's poetic charm and international luxury and comfort, a triple delight for the senses, taste buds, and mind. Whether for a romantic getaway, family vacation, or business trip, Four Seasons Suzhou delivers a flawless experience. It's definitely worth a second visit and comes highly recommended!

The hotel environment is great, and the facilities are good too. Our butler, Xiao Rui, is very attentive and provides excellent service; she's always responsive and helpful. Because I'm a bit lazy and missed breakfast, Xiao Rui even packed some breakfast and delivered it to my room – I'm very grateful! (Haha, I think for a relaxing vacation hotel, offering more flexibility with breakfast options would be better, catering to those who like to sleep in but still want breakfast). Overall, it's a good choice, and I'd consider staying here again sometime. Also, the service at the Thai hot pot restaurant was quite good.

From the moment we checked in, the staff helped with our luggage and offered hot towels and tea, which was a lovely touch after our journey. The front desk kindly upgraded us to a Yangcheng Yangxiu Private Hot Spring Suite, and arriving by boat was a really unique experience. The room was incredibly spacious, and the facilities were top-notch and complete. Our child loved swimming, and having an outdoor hot spring pool right there kept them very happy. I particularly enjoyed the tea room, where I could savor a cup of tea with my partner while watching our child play. We’ve stayed at Banyan Tree many times, and while the breakfast is consistently not very extensive, there's room for improvement there. [***** New Year Special | Complimentary dual tea, coffee & dessert on check-in day]: We ordered a hot cappuccino and an iced Americano, which were quite good. [Boat Check-in Experience]: This was my first time experiencing it, and it was quite novel.

How do I even begin to describe it? Nanjing Kayumanis is simply flawless, from the rooms to the service. You might wonder, 'How good can an old hotel be?' This is a luxury hotel built during an economic boom, exuding an air of lavish disregard for cost when it comes to comfort and privacy. The patina of time and age perfectly embodies that 'old money' aesthetic everyone craves now. Just look at the meticulously tiled, rounded corner niche in the shower for toiletries, or the almost ubiquitous sliding doors that connect every floor-to-ceiling window to an outdoor patio – then you'll understand what I mean. Although it shows signs of age, the staff diligently maintain it. The entire room, inside and out, every corner, smells only of incense, osmanthus, and camphor – absolutely no other odors. For an older hotel, this is incredibly rare and speaks volumes about their dedication. The staff's demeanor is also remarkably pleasant, from our butler Susan, to the ladies at breakfast, to the gentlemen managing the pool and hot springs. They are responsive, efficient, and genuinely warm, truly showcasing the straightforward charm of Nanjing locals. I've stayed in many luxury hotels, and Nanjing Kayumanis stands out as one of the best examples of a global hotel management company truly mastering localization. It's also the main reason I'd return to Nanjing for another vacation.

Recommended by a local Nanjing friend! We were pleasantly surprised when we drove there: easy parking, beautiful large bamboo groves, and spacious rooms perfect for families, complete with a kitchen and dining table for simple cooking. There's also plenty of space between the villas, offering great privacy. The air is fresh, perfect for a walk. The photos on the platform are accurate! Our butler, Louis, responded instantly to all our questions. When we had an early flight, the buggy we booked was waiting promptly at the door. The 'Simple Man' restaurant's double-pepper fish head and rice noodle black pork were delicious! It's a shame we encountered rainy weather this time, so we couldn't fully enjoy ourselves. We'll definitely stay here again if we have the chance to visit the Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai region in the future. Highly recommend!

Towards the end of my holiday, I chose the tallest hotel in Nanjing. The hotel provided a room on the 67th floor with a view of Xuanwu Lake and Zijin Mountain. The most striking feature inside was the large circular bathtub. Before this, I had already traveled to Shanghai during my third year of junior high school, dealing with work all the way, and was quite tired. For dinner and breakfast, I opted to dine at the hotel. Dinner was at the Summit restaurant on the 76th-77th floors, mainly featuring Huaiyang and fusion cuisine. It wasn't as salty as typical Nanjing dishes, and the cold dish with scampi was a highlight. The restaurant's main hall faces south towards Xinjiekou. Breakfast was at the coffee bar on the 45th floor, available from 9 AM to 7 PM. You could access the observation deck with your room card, which offered views to the north: Zijin Mountain, Jiming Temple, Xuanwu Lake, and the TV tower. The duck blood vermicelli soup and baked flatbread were very Nanjing in the breakfast spread, and the rest was typical InterContinental – very rich and varied. My only minor gripe was that the fruit station didn't have the cucumber sticks and juice often found at the Shanghai InterContinental; I had to get a bowl of cucumber slices from the salad bar. I visited the independently operated heated pool and gym after dinner, but it was quite crowded due to Chinese New Year, so it wasn't particularly enjoyable. I then explored the mall next door, which was pretty much as described by Nanjing local media. The only new development is that Sunrise Duty Free is setting up shop on the first floor and is currently under renovation. In a nutshell, my review of the hotel is: Majestic and awe-inspiring! Facilities: Everything you could need. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. Environment: A unique experience. Even with a strong gale outside at night, there was no howling sound once the ventilation windows were sealed. However, before 9 PM, you could hear outdoor loudspeakers from the nearby park or square, which was unavoidable – the entire city acts like a giant amplifier. Service: Warm and thoughtful, with appropriate boundaries, which I personally find more important.
