My stay at E-Man Hotel during my Suzhou trip was beyond expectations! The hotel's location is superb, right within the Pingjiang Road ancient street. Step outside and you're greeted by canals and small bridges. After a full day of exploring, eating, and playing, you don't have to walk far to rest; you can pop back to your room anytime. They upgraded my room to a river view, and opening the window revealed the canal right there. Watching tourists leisurely stroll by downstairs, the江南 (Jiangnan) atmosphere was perfectly captured and utterly delightful. The room had double-glazed windows, so even though it's on a lively ancient street, closing them instantly brought quiet, allowing for a peaceful and restful sleep. The room's cleanliness was excellent, making for a very comfortable sleep. The hotel also has a laundry room, which is convenient for longer trips. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the best places to eat, drink, and explore around Pingjiang Road. They patiently recommended authentic local eateries and sightseeing routes. It's a quiet retreat amidst the hustle and bustle, convenient and comfortable. This accommodation choice was truly worth it.

We had a lovely two-night stay at Wenlv Gusu Yard Hotel Donghuali and were very satisfied overall. The hotel has great facilities, a wonderful location, and extremely kind staff. We were also generously upgraded, which made the stay even nicer. The location is excellent - right in the middle of Suzhou old town, on the main pedestrian street, close to key shops, restaurants, and tea places. Since cars cannot enter this part of the old town, the nearest drop-off point is about a 3-minute walk away. Despite being so central, the room was very quiet because the windows faced the side/back areas and the courtyard walls helped create a calm atmosphere. Communication before arrival was very clear. We received a helpful message with all the details on how to get there, including the best DiDi drop-off point, check-in information, stay details, and Wi-Fi instructions. Our room was clean, modern, and very cozy, with a thoughtful mix of traditional character and contemporary comfort. While the room was on the smaller side compared with a standard chain hotel, it never felt cramped. The layout was well designed, the natural light made the space feel open, and the overall atmosphere was warm, calm, and intimate - very much in line with the feeling of a boutique stay in a restored old-town building. The room had windows on each side, allowing for good natural light and airflow, as well as blackout curtains. The bed was very comfortable - on the softer side, which we appreciated, but still supportive. The bathroom came with all necessary amenities and products, and, importantly, did not have any stale water smell, which can sometimes be an issue in hotels in China. The bathroom does not have a traditional door, but there is a non-see-through privacy curtain with magnets on the sides, which worked well and was not a problem for us. The room was also very practical: it included complimentary drinks, including soft drinks, tea, and water, a small refrigerator, and international electricity sockets, which was very convenient for foreign travellers. One especially lovely detail was the climbing jasmine just outside the window - when there was a breeze, the scent came into the room, which was beautiful. The hotel also has two small balconies with seating, offering lovely views over the Suzhou skyline and Gusu rooftops - a nice spot for morning coffee or doing some work. The stairs are quite narrow and there is no elevator, but the staff kindly helped us with our suitcases. The pond and terrace area outside was also lovely, although because of some construction work we could not fully enjoy it during our stay. This was not a problem for us. Breakfast was served as a breakfast box with nine small dishes. The staff also kindly made us coffee and provided milk upon request. There was yogurt as well, which was appreciated. Most of all, the staff were extremely kind, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. They helped with luggage, accommodated our breakfast requests, and made us feel very welcome. Overall, this is a lovely boutique hotel for families, friend groups, or solo travellers who enjoy peace and calmness, while still wanting a modern yet traditional stay right in the centre of Suzhou old town. We would happily recommend it!

The room had so much character, you could tell the owner put a lot of thought into every detail. The service was also incredibly attentive; the owner tried their best to accommodate all our requests. Highly recommend! And since it wasn't peak season, the room rate was quite reasonable too.

The hotel was undergoing renovations during my stay, so the lobby and restaurant were temporarily relocated, which was a bit inconvenient. However, the hotel's service was excellent. The butler proactively contacted me to confirm my room preferences, and everything was perfectly set up when I entered the room. Although the restaurant was moved to a smaller area with fewer buffet options, they offered a la carte service. Dishes like eggs Benedict and scrambled eggs were beautifully plated and presented, which was fantastic!

We booked a private family room, and the housekeeper, Ms. Zhou, checked us in and took us to the guest room. The room has a large bed and a small bed. The bathing pool is in the yard. If you need to soak in the hot spring, just tell Ms. Zhou and she will happily come over and help fill the hot spring water. She is a very nice person. I really like her. No. I had to go to the public hot springs to soak with others, it was very comfortable. I also went to Nanshan Bamboo Sea. The air was very good. I had a very good accommodation experience this time. I will go there often in the future!

This resort is a bit old, and the facilities do show their age. However, you can tell it was built to a high standard, with spacious rooms, a separate wet and dry area, double sinks, and a large bathroom with an automatic toilet. The shower stall is an add-on next to the bathtub, and the water pressure is excellent, making for a very comfortable shower. It has all the amenities of a standard hotel, and since it focuses on families, all table corners are child-proofed. Kids' slippers, bathrobes, toothbrushes, and footstools are all provided. The courtyard has a carousel, go-karts, a playground, a mini-train, and even small animals – kids are sure to have a great time. The front desk called before, during, and after check-in to ask about our needs and our stay, promptly resolving any issues. For that, I'm happy to give five stars. Breakfast offered a good variety, though the pastries and baked goods were a bit subpar. There's also a late-night congee served at 8 PM. You can really see the effort put in by the hotel management.

From an architectural and design perspective, the InterContinental Nanjing (Zifeng Tower) is definitely worth a stay. We checked in on the 14th and checked out on the 16th, accompanying my parents to Nanjing, and overall, we were very satisfied. As the tallest building in Nanjing and Jiangsu, the Zifeng Tower was designed by American SOM, giving it a very international aesthetic. Although the building has some years on it, it still looks grand and timeless; its lines, proportions, the ventilation design of the glass curtain wall, and the elevators don't feel outdated at all. Instead, it has the vibe of a classic landmark. The hotel's interior continues this international design sensibility, offering breathtaking high-altitude views. The public spaces are simple and stylish, and the city views from the guest rooms are expansive. The facilities, service, and dining were all impressive. My parents enjoyed their stay, and I personally loved it too. I'll definitely choose this place again next time. Thank you!

Took my kids to Suzhou Tongli Lake Hotel for a weekend stay. Their logo is a hoopoe bird, and the experience exceeded our expectations! The room was new, spotless, and thoughtfully detailed, making our stay incredibly relaxing and comfortable. The family-friendly facilities were fantastic: outdoors, you can feed bunnies, and the kids' play area was clean and safe – my child didn't want to leave! The heated pool had crystal-clear water, perfect for both adults and kids to enjoy. The buffet offered fresh, diverse, and delicious food with plenty of choices. On Sunday morning, we did a travel photoshoot in the Suzhou-style garden right next to the hotel. With its white walls, dark-tiled roofs, winding corridors, and ornate windows, every step offered a picturesque scene. It's a wonderful family-friendly hotel with a serene environment and attentive service!

The ultimate one-stop destination for families with kids! No need to venture out, both adults and children had a blast! The hotel facilities are truly comprehensive, featuring its own children's water park. There's a shallow pool and small slides for younger kids, the water quality is clean, and the lifeguards are always on duty, which was very reassuring. My child played there happily all afternoon and didn't want to leave. After playing, we went straight to the hot spring area to relax. With dozens of different wellness pools and mild water temperatures, soaking there was incredibly soothing and perfectly relieved the fatigue from playing in the water. Besides the water park and hot springs, there's also an indoor play area, parent-child DIY crafts, and a children's restaurant – everything you need for eating, staying, and playing is available right within the hotel, truly offering a one-stop vacation experience. The room was clean and spacious, and they thoughtfully provided amenities like children's toothbrushes and small slippers. The staff were friendly, and check-in was efficient. We didn't have to worry about a thing regarding our itinerary. We'll definitely come back for our next family vacation with the kids.

Our stay at Jinling Hotel was truly exceptional, largely thanks to the meticulous and thoughtful service provided by our butler, Odette. We were celebrating our anniversary, and Odette specially arranged a commemorative cake on our room's table. The moment we opened the door and stepped in, we were enveloped by a wonderful sense of occasion – a truly delightful surprise. Throughout our stay, any requests we had were met with incredibly prompt responses. When I asked for a buckwheat pillow, Odette quickly arranged for it to be delivered. After trying it, I found it incredibly comfortable and even inquired about purchasing one. Our butler patiently provided all the necessary information and helped us acquire one right away. There was also a minor mishap where our takeout order was mistakenly sent back, but Odette actively intervened and successfully coordinated to have it redelivered to our room. The room service attendant, Jamie, was also prompt with deliveries, and DHL did an excellent job with cleaning. Whenever we had a need, our butler was always there to respond promptly. These thoughtful details truly reflect Jinling's philosophy of attentive and warm service. This established five-star hotel isn't just about impressive facilities; it's this kind of empathetic and discreet butler service that truly leaves a lasting impression. Our anniversary celebration was perfect, and we will definitely choose Jinling Hotel again on our next visit to Nanjing!
