When checking in, the housekeeper Xiao Guo (Guo Chengxiang) arranged a petal turndown service in advance. Catering service: There are many varieties of Western and Chinese breakfast. The package booked by Ctrip gave two meals. I thought the catering would be perfunctory, but it turned out to be amazing! Seasonal bamboo shoots, river shrimp, yellow croaker, Liyang special black rice, etc. are super delicious and memorable. Details and highlights: The front desk, restaurant, and room service staff all serve with a smile. The one-room-per-family apartment is not only quiet, but also has good privacy. - You can call a shuttle bus for travel in the hotel. There are SPA, infinity pool, hot springs, viewing restaurants, mountain trails, hydrangea parks, firefly camps, etc. Liyang's hot springs are famous for being great. There are also various mountain private hot springs in the hotel. You can soak in hot springs while enjoying the beautiful scenery. The key point is that the hot springs are included in the hotel package for free. The public areas of the hotel retain the original ecology to the greatest extent. You can experience the holiday without leaving the mountain when you are on vacation in the mountains. Across the road from the hotel, there is also their own Shenma Farm, where guests staying in the hotel can go to the farm to play. My biggest impression of the farm is that it is very neat and clean, not only every area is neat, but also every animal is clean. In the cute pet park, there are groundhogs, rabbits, goats, alpacas, deer and other animals. You can buy carrots and interact with them closely.

After checking in, he swiftly and carefully handled our luggage, personally escorting us to our room. He thoroughly explained all the in-room facilities and gave us tips on nearby attractions. Since we'd added him on WeChat beforehand, he also arranged a lovely surprise setup in our room and gifted us a small cake. The late-night sweet soup was also a perfect touch. I genuinely appreciate the Banyan Tree's service and will definitely choose you again next time!

Lucky to have won a one-city, one-room experience! We drove from Shanghai to Suzhou right after school on Friday, which was about an hour and a half – perfect for a weekend getaway. The hotel staff were incredibly warm and attentive. Upon check-in, we received complimentary wine, a fruit platter, and chocolates and macarons that the kids loved. Since it happened to be cold and rainy, we didn't explore the surroundings and instead had more time to enjoy the hotel's dining options. The dinner at Jingjing Court and the breakfast the next morning were both excellent. We're looking forward to returning when the weather is warmer in spring to experience more outdoor activities.

The restaurant offers a variety of food options, especially local lake cuisine, which is delicious and well presented. Service: Every staff member is very polite, and makes people feel very considerate from check-in to check-out. A special car will be picked up with just one phone call, and considering that we are with our children, special arrangements for restaurant seats include baby chairs, boat rides, duck feeding and other activities. Hygiene: The baby walks barefoot in the room, which shows that the room is very clean and comfortable. The floor height is very high, the facilities are spotless, and the bedding is soft. Considering that there are mosquitoes in summer, mosquito repellent spray and electric mosquito coils are also prepared.

Anything you mention, even before arriving, your butler will have perfectly arranged. And things you haven't even thought of, the butler will have anticipated and taken care of for you. I deliberately ran my hand over various outdoor chairs, railings, and even the outdoor trash cans. Every single item had been carefully wiped clean, unlike some hotels where outdoor chairs are too dirty to sit on. Another detail was the glass; upon entering the hotel, I specifically checked all the interior and exterior glass and mirrors in the room. They were all immaculately clean, with no residual smudges or water streaks from cleaning. With only 21 villas, privacy is maximized, ensuring no disturbances and truly allowing you to escape the hustle and bustle. The villas boast expansive indoor and outdoor spaces, complete with both a swimming pool and a hot spring pool, perfect for swimming or soaking. Although the decor has some years on it, the ambiance is wonderfully created. The bathroom fixtures are all Hansgrohe, and the TVs are Sony – clearly, significant thought and expense went into its design. Unlike some hotels where adding a few hundred yuan for breakfast means queuing and jostling for a spot at a crowded buffet, the breakfast here offers a rich variety that caters to all tastes, and you can freely reorder if you haven't had enough. And unlike some hotels that demand a 1500 or 2000 yuan deposit upfront, Yangshuo Hua Ping didn't even mention a deposit; it's zero. It's also not like some hotels that constantly try to get you to spend more money; here, the feeling you get is that service comes first. Since we arrived in the evening and missed afternoon tea, they specially allowed us to extend our check-out the next day and had afternoon tea delivered to our room. Even the spout of the teapot was wrapped in cling film – a level of detail I've never seen executed so perfectly in China. Although it's not huge, each courtyard has a very private hot spring, the rooms are spacious enough, and the smart home features are comprehensive, making for a very comfortable stay. Breakfast mainly features Chinese Cantonese dim sum, with Western options as a supplement. The hot dishes are all freshly made to order, and the taste is excellent; I highly recommend the xiaolongbao and vegetarian pan-fried dumplings. The service across all areas is fantastic; both the front desk and other staff members are very warm and professional. Cons: I saw several reviews from guests who reported that despite giving their license plate numbers to their butler or the front desk, it wasn't entered into the system when they checked out, and they were charged for parking. Because of this, I specifically emphasized it repeatedly to both the butler and the front desk. When checking out, I mentioned it again, and they all confirmed it was entered. Yet, it still wasn't, and I was going to be charged over 300 for parking. Luckily, a staff member happened to pass by and, after some communication, I was able to leave for free. This is really unacceptable, and it's not an isolated incident. With so much feedback, it seems no attention has been paid to it! In summary, for a holiday relaxing in hot springs, it's an excellent choice. I suggest bringing pool disinfectant tablets (I calculated and used 17, for reference only). The Rong Zhuang Chinese restaurant next door is superb, and the nearby (just a few steps away) Michelin-listed intangible cultural heritage Suzhou-style noodles at Gusuqiao are also great. I recommend the intangible cultural heritage pork liver noodles – they are the best! You can also order takeout, and the front desk will deliver it to your room, which is excellent service.

We were pleasantly surprised when we drove there: easy parking, beautiful large bamboo groves, and spacious rooms perfect for families, complete with a kitchen and dining table for simple cooking. There's also plenty of space between the villas, offering great privacy. The air is fresh, perfect for a walk. The photos on the platform are accurate! Our butler, Louis, responded instantly to all our questions. When we had an early flight, the buggy we booked was waiting promptly at the door. The 'Simple Man' restaurant's double-pepper fish head and rice noodle black pork were delicious! It's a shame we encountered rainy weather this time, so we couldn't fully enjoy ourselves.
