The high temperatures persisted, so we came to Changbai Mountain to escape the heat and stayed at the Yunshuilanting Hotel. Upon check-in, Manager Dong, knowing we were two seniors over 70, provided us with the warmest service imaginable. She patiently explained the surrounding area, important considerations, and evening activities, and even brought us local seasonal blueberries. It felt like home, with the warmth of children around us. Despite it being peak tourist season and the hotel being fully booked, the cleanliness and dining were still top-notch. Of all the places we've stayed in Changbai Mountain over the past few days, this was by far the best experience. Manager Dong is an excellent leader, managing an outstanding service team.

The room was incredibly spacious, which I really appreciated! Especially when the afternoon sun streamed in upon arrival, it felt wonderful. The small bed's mattress was a bit firm but perfectly fine for sleeping. The hot springs were very crowded, so soaking in the room's bathtub was a good alternative. The staff were all very welcoming. The breakfast selection wasn't super extensive, but it depends on your taste; you'll definitely get enough to eat. The only issue was the weak air conditioning in the breakfast area, though the room's AC was excellent. The coffee in the lobby was quite good, worth trying. Parking was convenient, with plenty of space right out front.

This was my first time visiting Changbai Mountain, and choosing a hot spring hotel was absolutely the right decision! The hotel is conveniently located right at the North Mountain Gate (the old gate), just a 3-minute walk away. This gate is mainly open to hotel guests, so it's not crowded. Tickets need to be reserved 7 days in advance on the WeChat mini-program. The hotel front desk provides a paper voucher, and after entering the park at your reserved time, you take a shuttle directly to the transfer center. For the return journey, you depart from the new North Gate, and the hotel offers a shuttle service, making the overall travel experience very convenient! You can access the hot spring area directly from the hotel lobby and enjoy unlimited entry during your stay. Soaking in the hot springs after a hike is incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating. The Garden Restaurant on the first floor offers a buffet breakfast with a wide variety of dishes. Dinner is a mini-hotpot, and the set menus are great value for money. Enjoying a warm hotpot after a day of hiking is especially comforting! The hotel's back garden features a petting zoo area. The alpacas are adorably round, and the sika deer are very friendly and super cute! The stay included two complimentary activities: off-road vehicle and cable car sightseeing (at Heping Ski Resort) and adventure溯溪 (at Julong Volcanic Pumice Forest Cold Spring). Both experiences were excellent. You need to book these a day in advance. The hotel issues paper vouchers and arranges transportation. The scenery along the way is beautiful, we had a fantastic time and took many great photos.

The Jinhua Hotel is well-equipped and offers excellent service. Special thanks to Coco (TuTu) at the executive lounge who called me in advance to explain the benefits before I even checked in. The resort has a wide variety of activities, and its location is superb. I thoroughly enjoyed the mountain retreat atmosphere and had a comfortable stay. The commercial street right next to the hotel is also very convenient. Coco (TuTu) was incredibly attentive and enthusiastic, handling everything with great care! Thumbs up!

My flight landed in Changbai Mountain at 11:15 PM, and I had tickets for the West Slope at 7:30 AM the next day. After much deliberation, I chose the Blue River Hotel, and it turned out to be an excellent decision. It saved me both travel time and distance, and I had a comfortable and safe stay. The hotel's location is truly unbeatable, right at the old West Slope entrance. This saved me the trip from Wanda or the town to the main entrance, and then to the old entrance. From the old entrance, you just take a shuttle bus into the West Slope scenic area, and it drops you right at the base of Tianchi Lake. The hotel lobby is incredibly spacious, parking is convenient, the rooms are well-equipped, and they even provide complimentary welcome fruit. Breakfast starts promptly at 7 AM, with a good variety of options. The taste was decent, and I even snuck out two steamed buns to eat on the mountain 😂. I highly recommend the peach juice; the peaches 🍑 from Changbai Mountain are incredibly appealing. The front desk staff were so polite I almost felt embarrassed 😅. When I checked in, they recognized my name from a distance. The next day, as I left, they reminded me to take my umbrella. And when I returned in the afternoon to collect my luggage after exploring, they gave me more fruit and water, and kept asking if there was anything they could have done better. In summary, while the facilities might be a bit older, their shortcomings don't overshadow the positives. I highly recommend this hotel 🏨 to anyone following a similar itinerary as mine.

The pool offers a great variety of features, really making you want to jump in. However, some guests were smoking by the poolside, and they should be directed to the designated smoking areas more promptly. There weren't many hot spring pools, but they were adequate. The water pump in the ”Doctor Fish” pool was too strong, and there were very few fish. After five or six people sat down, it would take more than 3 minutes to see any fish. I suggest adjusting the pump's intensity. The various hotel-organized activities showed excellent planning, especially the beautiful fireworks display. Our butler was very professional and helpful when we needed assistance. They genuinely considered the customer's perspective rather than just mechanically processing requests, which deserves high praise! Perhaps due to the hotel being over ten years old, the facilities in my room showed some aging. I recommend regular, staggered checks of things like the sink drainage, shower water pressure, toilet flush, and electrical outlet looseness. The decor's classic, palatial style was quite appealing to my family, but the facilities shouldn't feel dilapidated. Even minor issues with key facilities can significantly impact the guest experience. The breakfast buffet was good, but there was only one coffee machine, often leading to queues. The coffee machine's water tank also needed more timely maintenance. The charging stations are a 20-minute walk from the lobby, and the superchargers incur an occupancy fee of 0.5 per minute after charging is complete. This is very inconvenient for guests with hybrid cars who need to charge. Having to walk over 30 minutes round trip for an hour of charging can easily deter guests from charging. I suggest introducing slow-charging stations. Finally, the service staff in the hot spring pools and changing rooms had a somewhat rigid attitude, which I hope will be improved.

The hotel is well located, about 30 min by taxi from Baishan Changbaishan airport, 10 min walk from the West slope departure center as well as many restaurants. It looks majestic from the outside and inside, although a bit old. You can enjoy inside and outside hot springs of different kinds and temperatures. There is a huge buffet with various choices for breakfast (Chinese dishes mainly, two kind of fruits and some Western options). The room was very spacious and comfortable. The carpet floor was not very clean and the room smelled like cigarette on the first day, although we asked for a non smoking room. After leaving the window open the whole day it was better and the smell did not come back.

I was a bit hesitant about booking this hotel after reading so many reviews and Redbook posts, but in the end, I decided to go for it because the hotel environment seemed good, and with a 1.5-year-old baby, we'd spend a lot of time at the hotel. When we first arrived, it was indeed a bit old, as other guests had mentioned, which was a slight disappointment. However, it wasn't as bad as some made it out to be, and of course, it can't compare to five-star hotels from major chain groups. What truly stood out was the incredibly warm service. Unlike the somewhat cold and formal guidance you sometimes get at other five-star hotels, the staff here were genuinely enthusiastic. They reminded me to schedule the private hot spring, provided hot tea every day, and were available to answer any travel questions via WeChat. The driver they arranged was also exceptionally helpful and enthusiastic – highly recommend! The breakfast selection was indeed small, but the taste was genuinely excellent. The Cantonese dim sum was even better than what I've had at some restaurants in Guangzhou! Plus, the restaurant is situated right above the river, offering fantastic views. The complimentary dinner was also delicious. Ordering additional items might be a bit pricey, but the food here was definitely the best we'd had during our stay in Erdaobaihe Town. I would absolutely recommend this place to friends next time.

Environment: Quiet and comfortable, very close to Huangsongpu parking lot. No matter what night you buy a ticket, you can go to Tianchi in advance, which is great. In the afternoon, we soaked in Julong Volcano Hot Spring, and in the evening we ate at Yunding Market. The shop also arranged breakfast in the morning. After breakfast, we went straight to see Tianchi. It is very suitable for family or friends to gather and play.

The room has good lighting, spacious and not depressing, meticulous hygiene, stable hot water supply, polite service staff, affordable price, whether it is a business trip, it is very suitable. There was an episode. When I left, I pulled the watch under the pillow. The staff I contacted was very responsible. After helping to find it, I contacted SF Express. Thank you to the hotel staff.
