Hotel Romantic di Osaka Prefecture, Japan

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a generally wonderful experience. Here is a breakdown of my stay: 📍 Unbeatable Location The biggest highlight is definitely the location. It is within easy walking distance to Dotonbori and Namba, making it perfect for foodies and shoppers. Being close to several subway stations meant I could reach almost any part of Osaka, including the Umeda district and Osaka Castle, quickly and conveniently. 🛎️ Service & Amenities Check-in/out: The process is automated and very efficient. However, when the machines had a minor hiccup, the staff were immediately available to help. The team is incredibly polite and professional. Convenience: I loved the vending machines (drinks and vacuum bags!) located right in the hotel. Toiletries: There is a ”grab-and-go” station on the first floor where you can pick up extra shampoo, gels, and toothbrushes as needed. ⚠️ Areas for Improvement While I enjoyed my stay, there were some minor issues with cleanliness: I noticed some dust buildup in the common area light fixtures. In the room, there was visible dust on the ventilation grilles and tables, even after the cleaning service. Verdict Despite the minor dust issues, the convenience, location, and friendly service make this a great choice for anyone visiting Osaka.

I stayed at Hotel Kansai for four nights. Overall, the room was pretty good — comfortable and clean. The bathroom is very small, but that’s fairly standard for Japan, so no real surprise there. The staff were great and very friendly, although check-in is self-service, so you don’t really need much help anyway. There were a few negatives that are worth mentioning. One small but disappointing issue was dust behind the TV. It’s wall-mounted and very visible when you walk past every day, so it didn’t feel like something that was just missed once — it stood out. In the new building, there is only one elevator and it’s very slow. That’s a minor issue, but the biggest problem by far is the Wi-Fi. It’s extremely unreliable. It connects, disconnects for several minutes, comes back briefly, then drops again. I tested this on three different devices (phone and laptop), and when it went down on one, it went down on all of them. When it works, the speed is actually very fast, which makes it even more frustrating. For anyone who needs to work online, this is a serious issue, and personally I wouldn’t stay here again unless the Wi-Fi is fixed. Another thing to note is the location. It’s not as close to the subway as some people might think. There are bridges, underpasses, and mall connections, and if you’re new to the area it can be a bit confusing. Noise is also something to be aware of. You can hear sounds from outside at night, like music or drums, and the walls seem quite thin — I could hear people snoring in nearby rooms. I didn’t sleep terribly, but I did wake up three or four times each night. Finally, the room setup is very basic. There’s no proper chair, just a small wooden stool, which isn’t ideal if you want to sit comfortably for any length of time. Overall, it’s a decent hotel and better than some places I’ve stayed, but not the best. I would consider staying again only if the Wi-Fi issues were properly addressed.

Sangat berpuas hati dengan kemudahan perkhidmatan hotel. Nisbah harga/prestasi sangat tinggi. Lain kali saya ke Osaka, saya akan menempah hotel ini. Mata air panas di hotel ini benar-benar kelas pertama, dengan pelbagai jenis akan sentiasa ada yang memuaskan hati anda. Selepas keluar untuk berseronok pada siang hari, berenang di mata air panas dapat menghilangkan keletihan. Bufet sarapan di hotel mempunyai pelbagai pilihan makanan, yang boleh memenuhi keperluan citarasa yang berbeza dan pengembara antarabangsa. Makanan pun sedap. Lokasinya mudah, berhampiran dengan Stesen Tenzhuji dan Stesen Zoo-Mae. Ia berdekatan dengan Menara Tsutenkaku dan Daisekai, jadi tidak sukar untuk mencari makanan yang lazat. Satu-satunya perkara yang menarik ialah masa daftar keluar lebih awal daripada jam 10, dan selepas daftar keluar, kami tidak dapat membantu menyimpan bagasi anda.

Very beautiful hotel, staff were mostly very friendly except for the guy during check out, not so helpful. Maybe too early 🤔😅 Self help amenities at the lobby ( cleansing oil, toner, facial lotion, etc) coffee n tea bags too. There's also a coffee and water machine at lobby, water dispenser, microwave and ice machine available on certain floor. Laundry machine too. Perfect location, 5 mins walk to shinsaibashi walking street, all link to Dotonbori. Lots of very yummy food, restaurants around, but only 1 stomach 😭😩 oh, there's a huge weighing machine at the lobby to check ur luggage weight before leaving for airport 👍🤣 Only thing I can't stand is the shower.. Will suddenly turn hot or cold 🚿😨😕😏🤪 Oh very lucky hot upgraded from standard to Queen size, just nice can put my luggage n open completely. Bed very comfy, pillow too soft though. 😊 Still nice stay. Family mart next door, 24hrs. Some food joints too.

Size is pretty good for the location. You still can open your luggage and store them under the bed. There’s a bus stop 200m from the hotel that has direct service to Kansai International Airport. 5mins walking to Dotonburi, Family Mart, Lawson and 7Eleven at your doorstep. Highly recommended

This is one of the nicest hotels I stayed in japan. Really big and spacious room with lot of amenities ( massage chair, free tv etc). After seeing room and amenities i was so scared that maybe hotel will ask us to pay some hidden fees.. hahaha but we checked out smoothly on our checked out day. Very near to itami airport, 10 minuets by walk, but very far from subway station, if you have heavy luggage then be prepare. And this hotel is suitable for family, couples and solo male travelers. It’s a love hotel solo female travelers might feel little strange. But i didn’t found any objectionable thing.

As a new boutique hotel it really did live up to the standards. Clean and location was central, tucked in a small alley where family mart was only 20 steps away. My only critique and question mark was, I asked if the concierge if they could help me book and check for a lunch reservation. What surprised me was they said since I have already checked out, they could only offer services for checking if there were seats but were not able to book for us? that surprised me a little bit, I wasn't sure if was some miscommunication or language barrier

About 10minutes walk from Juso station (Hankyu Line) Exit West gate, there are a lot of restaurants nearby Juso station. There are convenience stores near to Hotel. I was given twin bed room in 14 floor by the reception . The room is comfortable, and have good view from window.

This was the best stay we had throughout our 2 weeks trip to Japan! Initially I had the impression that the stay here will be very squeezy due the images shown during booking. Upon arriving at the lobby, we were early for the check in (supposedly 3pm) and staff informed they will allow early check in at 230pm instead of 3pm. The staff were all very attentive and had superb customer service. At around 220pm they suddenly allowed us to check in which the self check in process was so seamless, totally impressed firstly by allowing us to check in earlier, and the short process. Upon reaching our room, we were even more impressed! The room was spacious where i could open all 4 luggage at once. The view outside was cast upon the river. The feature by the door where we can place our winter jackets or clothes that could be reworn was so thoughtful. The only downside was the slightly smaller bathtub which we didn’t use. The table was slightly small for 2 pax as well. The hotel supports sustainability cleaning which allow us to choose the type or extent of room cleaning that we want which was great. Personally I totally loved the real time update of the laundry room of ALL the machines and time remained. It helped me reduced unnecessary trips to the laundry room to check on my laundry and when I want to do laundry, i’ll know whether there are available machine for use. Really appreciate this feature. Our only regret is not trying the breakfast. It looked so good and we would definitely come back for our next visit to Osaka and have their breakfast!

Berbanding hotel Jepun biasa, bilik ini sangat besar, katil pun besar. Susun aturnya sangat cantik dan berkarakter, memberikan suasana yang menyenangkan. Di kaunter depan ada seorang kakitangan yang boleh berbahasa Cina, sangat ramah. Pasar raya besar terletak di sebelah, dan jaraknya juga dekat dengan stesen kereta api bawah tanah serta kedai serbaneka.
