We had a short getaway at St Giles to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The hotel surprised us with a slice of cake and some simple room decorations. Nice gestures, Thank you. There was a simple but refreshing welcome drinks too! Their staffs are well-trained and service- oriented. Good job, keep it up! 💯

This is the 3rd time we are staying there. This time was a studio. It’s like a big hotel room. The water pressure was good. It also have in house Netflix. The remote control for the tv was out of order. After contacting Fuju customer service. One of their staff came quite quickly to change a new remote control for us. This will not be the last time to be here.

Lack of USB/type C charging in the room Suggest the power socket upgrade to one with build in type C and USB charging This will improvement the facility and I may stay again for my next visit to Malaysia , thanks

Great location! Few minutes walk to malls and eateries including bakery. Service staff were great as well. Hotel is secured as entrance door is magnetic locked during night times and can be unlocked with your room keys. Carpark lots is via lift and staff uncle is nice to guide the cars into the lift and also floor level. There are gym and business Center, however it lacked breakfast possibly due to lack of space and plenty of options near hotel. Overall, price is really worthwhile and the value is great! This hotel will be my top consideration whenever I am staying over in JB.

Hassle-free, fuss-free check-in. Love the huge premium suite room. The toilet is the same size as my bedroom in a HDB flat. My 2nd time booking a suite room and my 3rd stay here. Previously stayed in a superior room. Only thing though, tv wasnt working in room 1201. Previous suite i stayed in, room 1424, had a smart tv. Would be good if all rooms had a smart tv. Also, love the complimentary coke, sprite, 100plus n minute maid in the minibar. Would be good if there evening cocktails included. 1 thing though, there were alot of ants on both tables. But despite that, i will still rate my stay as pretty good for a hotel this old. I’m already planning my next stay here.

I chose Opero Hotel Southkey for my recent trip to Johor Bahru, and I was very satisfied with the overall experience. It's a hotel with excellent value for money. 📍 The location is incredibly convenient: The hotel is right next to Mid Valley Southkey Mall, just a few minutes' walk downstairs. Eating, shopping, and buying things are completely hassle-free, making it perfect for short trips or weekend getaways. 🛏️ Room Experience: The room was clean, with a simple and modern design. The bed was very comfortable, and the soundproofing was good, so it was quiet at night. The bathroom had stable water pressure and plenty of hot water. The overall maintenance was excellent; it didn't feel like an old hotel at all. 🍽️ Full Marks for Lifestyle Convenience: * The mall offers a huge variety (restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, massage, beauty products – you name it). * It's super convenient for late-night snacks, coffee, or buying daily necessities. * No need to take a special taxi to the city center; you can still have a great time. 🚗 Transportation & Getting Around: * From Singapore, you can take a Grab directly after clearing CIQ. * The hotel has parking spaces, so it's convenient if you're driving. * Taking a taxi to the city center, KSL, or City Square is also a short ride. 💬 Service Experience: The front desk staff were friendly, and both check-in and check-out were smooth. Responses to questions were quick, which was reassuring. ✨ In summary: If you're looking for a clean, quiet, super convenient hotel near a mall in Johor Bahru, you really can't go wrong with Opero Hotel Southkey. The breakfast was delicious too. It's suitable for couples, friends, or short weekend stays. I'd definitely stay here again on my next visit to JB 👍

The environment here is beautiful, it's just a shame the swimming pool upstairs is a bit damaged. If that could be fixed, it would be absolutely perfect. The security is also very professional, with security guards patrolling 24 hours a day.

The location is great, very close to the train station, but traffic can be really bad. When trying to book a Grab back to the hotel, many drivers either wouldn't accept the ride or canceled it. Some who did accept would complain or make passive-aggressive comments in the car, even dropping us off by the roadside. Aside from that, everything else was good. The hotel's service and facilities are excellent, and the rooms are large and bright. They even have a microwave, fridge, and an electronic scale. Breakfast was decent (it would be even better if they didn't fry eggs indoors, as it makes your clothes and hair smell of cooking oil).

We stayed for one night only, and the staff who attended to us during check-in were courteous and welcoming. The breakfast spread was simple but sufficient and enjoyable. However, it was slightly odd that not all the ceiling lights in the restaurant were turned on during the morning when we were there. The hotel’s location was convenient, just a short walk from Komtar, City Square, and JB Central. After breakfast, we were able to enjoy a leisurely stroll along Jalan Wong Ah Fook with ease.

location is prefect on top of paradigm mall, only carpark is a bit confused on the 6th floor which entrance at the 2nd gate, need to ask security exact location, hotel is very new and spacious, all staff are kind and polite, facilities only swimming pool and breakfast, buffet on Sat only, yet the mall has all everything archery, movies, roller, virtual game, roller skate, pet shop, KKV, food of all kinds.
