"The first thing that caught my eye when I entered the room was the incredible view from the floor-to-ceiling windows. You can see the iconic Raffles City right across, and the scenery is truly calming. Chongqing is a city with lots of hills and slopes, so it can be quite tiring to walk around. That's where the large bathtub in the room came in handy – a hot soak was incredibly relaxing. The hotel was very clean, and all the disposable amenities were well-stocked. The service was also excellent. Overall, it's pretty good value for money, and I'd definitely choose to stay here again next time."

"I was looking for a hotel near the Olympic Sports Center for Nicholas Tse's concert during the十一 (National Day) holiday, and it was quite challenging to find one with family rooms. I was very lucky to get this one as a last-minute booking. The hotel service was excellent. They upgraded us to a room with breakfast, and one night, my family member got sick and threw up in the toilet, and they came to clean it up promptly. I highly recommend this hotel for concerts. You just go downstairs and cross the road to get to the venue. We could even hear soundchecks from our room! Dining downstairs was incredibly convenient with many options. There was a great BBQ restaurant that we ended up eating at twice."

"I've always trusted Kempinski, and this stay didn't disappoint. The room was spacious and grand, with several windows offering stunning river views, especially the Chongqing Grand Bridge over the Yangtze River at night, which was a real treat. The service was excellent; I'd like to particularly commend the gentleman at the front desk who handled my check-in. The swimming pool and executive lounge were also great. The lounge food, in particular, was exquisite and delicious, and it was quiet with few people, which is often not the case at other hotels. The location is superb, perfectly situated for both easy access and a peaceful environment. Highly recommend!"

"I stayed at the Hilton in Chongqing for three nights and was satisfied with everything. It's very close to the subway station (Lianglukou) and Didi (ride-hailing) is also super convenient. There are plenty of food options nearby, including a Luckin Coffee right outside. The staff were amazing! Housekeeping Auntie Chen (I hope I got the name right) was incredibly thoughtful; she brought amenities for my child and even provided a bathtub liner and bath salts. Vickie and Jason at the front desk provided excellent service and even complimentary breakfast for one day. The concierge staff proactively helped me with my luggage both at check-in and check-out. It truly felt like a home away from home, especially for a mom traveling alone with a child! I recommend bringing a swimsuit. We forgot ours, otherwise, I definitely would have relaxed in the heated pool. I really enjoy swimming in winter."

Special thanks to the housekeeping lady who took exceptional care of the room, spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, with excellent bed linen and a fantastic room and view. The front desk team was professional, warm, and highly efficient. Breakfast was excellent, with a special mention to the breakfast host and the gentleman at the omelette station, friendly, attentive, and genuinely service-minded. The location is perfect for visiting Chongqing’s main highlights. A hotel that truly delivers on JW Marriott standards. Highly recommended.
