A very smart clean hotel with an excellent pool and access to the sea, the rooms were large and well appointed with all the amenities you would expect.
The location is away from other restaurants and attractions but this is made clear in the description when booking, it wasn’t a problem for us as we had a car, they run a shuttle to the nearest railway station at Vico equense, if you have a car it’s easy to drive there and park in the underground parking in the center of town, from there getting the train to anywhere you want is easy and cheap.
Only two slight criticisms, 1 the shower wasn’t particularly hot or powerful and 2 they need to vary the restaurant menu at least a couple of times a week if only by a few dishes. Overall I would recommend this hotel

The hotel is incredibly grand, and we were very pleased with the staff’s courteousness; they were incredibly helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. Our room had lovely amenities, and our breakfast was, similarly, very nice. Overall, for the price, we recommend it, since everything was very orderly, and we enjoyed our time, as guests in the Palazzo Caracciolo.

Hotel correct. La chambre normale est un peu petite. La situation est très centrale à côté de restaurants disponibles. La personnel est très chaleureux et à l’écoute. Un charme un peu désuet pour ceux qui apprécient. Le problème est surtout la parking. Toute les places publiques sont payantes (1 euro l’heure) et presque toutes occupées même en hiver ou alors vous payez 20 euros la journée a l’hôtel. Le buffet du déjeuner est garni et bon. Les communs (salle à manger) non chauffés fin février, en tout cas c’était mon impression.

CChristutiWhat a wonderful experience!!! The room was just perfect. Extremely spacious room and the tub/jacuzzi was an excellent addition. Bathroom was a comfortable size. Kitchenette was also a wonderful surprise (I don’t remember reading about it when I booked). Mini fridge was perfect to keep water bottle and beverages cold. Very cleaned and beautifully presented. The view from the room was just great and the location couldn’t be more perfect. Walking distance from the port (great as I had planned on visiting Capri and Ischia) and many other sightseeing musts. Also many places to eat and stores around the block. The host was also extremely helpful, charming and attentive. She allowed us to keep our bags in the lobby and do check-in early as we were ready visit and sightsee many places as soon as we got there around noon. She was also of great help after we checked-out, as I accidentally left the car keys in the lobby, I was able to recover them. All in all we had a great experience and time and will definitely stay again. Highly recommended.

We were upgraded to their next door hotel.
Location is quite close (1 metro station to Garibaldi or Napoli Centrale) but the area is quite dirty and felt unsafe.
Hotel room was super clean and facilities were top notch and good value for money. We had breakfast included but we had to leave early morning so didn't take the breakfast.
The main complaint I had was: They kept us waiting telling us that room will be ready in 5 min but took more than 1 hour. Granted we arrived at 12 and we were ready to drop the bag in the storage but they kept on telling will be in 5-10 min. It took them like 75 min to get the room ready. When I confronted them, they were quite unapologetic about it and in fact they were telling that they are doing a favour...
Overall:
Good hotel, good facilities.
Staff was unhelpful and area was dirty.

His keen observation of guests’ needs and willingness to go the extra mile ensure that every visitor enjoys a memorable and seamless experience.
The hotel itself boasts impeccable amenities, everything feels modern, clean and designed for comfort. The nice views further enhance the overall ambiance and stay.
Location wise, it’s not so close to the station and could be a bit hassled to reach with luggage.

VVictoria AnneWe just had a wonderful 4 days at La Pergola. Nothing is too much trouble. Each day we received service with a smile. The location is a short distance from central Sorrento but the hotel offers a free shuttle service in the evening which was perfect for going for dinner etc. The rooms are clean. It has a fabulous roof terrace where they will bring drinks to you. Breakfast had a good selection of options. The swimming pool was nice. A short walk away you can go to the beach. All in all a great experience.

ZZack15We think that the hotel is not bad, but not great either. First thing to note is the hotel’s location is quite far (20min) from main terminal, BUT has a bus stop right in front. Secondly, hotel is already very old, and guests mainly are older gentlemen and ladies. Pool facilities which were advertised as 38C were mostly 30-36 at best. The hot tub hard carried our stay. Since the island is quite expensive in general now, a visit to this place do give it some thought.
