Gorgeous views from desaru beach! The beach is fairly clean and I love how the blue green colours of the sea are so calming to the eyes. It is located exactly outside of Westin Hotel at Desaru making it convenient to drop by anytime during my stay at Westin.

Nice white sand beach, less than 1 hr drive from Johor Bahru. Accomodation choices not limited to Hotels or Apartments but also camping site. Many new campsite by private owner, or enjoy for a day trip.

Desaru offers nice sandy beach for kids to play with sand. It would be good to stay in hotels with private beach to avoid the crowd.
