Shengshui Temple is located in the Tazishan Scenic Area on the right bank of the Fujiang River in the west of Mianyang City. It has been famous for its dragon spring holy water since ancient times. It was originally named "Ganquan Temple", and its history can be traced back to the Tang Yonghui period, which has been more than 1300 years ago, and it can be called one of the ancient temples with a long history in northwestern Sichuan. Since the 1980s, the famous Mianyang monk Guoren and his senior disciple Changming have successively led a large number of believers to revive the Shengshui Ancient Temple with the strong support of the government's religious department.
