Christ Church

Qingzhou Christian Church is located in the ancient city of Qingzhou. It was built in 1910 and is also called the main church. The architectural style is Goethe. It is a relatively complete church in Shandong Province. It is worth a visit.

When I met this Christian church, it was quite unexpected. Because there are churches in the ancient city, and there are Christian churches and Catholic churches, which is really rare. From the appearance of the church, it is really the historical complex of Qingzhou Ancient City, which can also reflect that Qingzhou was very open and inclusive in the ancient times, leaving such a beautiful scenery.

Walk Qingzhou The old church in Qingzhou Ancient City has two old churches in Qingzhou Ancient City, one for Christianity and one for Catholicism. The latter is good for sale but has been built in recent years. The former is a combination of Chinese and Western and is shining in the interior, so the former is recommended. It was a coincidence that I was entering the Christian Church and was meeting a priest to receive friends, so I was fortunate to listen to the characteristics of this old building, and also shared a story of fighting with the Red Guards during the Cultural Revolution. Speaking of this, the Catholic Church was sadly urged. It was not only demolished, but also completely flattened and changed to a staff dormitory of a local cigarette factory. In a completely Chinese-style van, it is the introduction of doctrine and the history of Qingzhou Christianity. So the threads that were obtained before were tied together here. In short, the missionaries in Qingzhou opened schools (formerly Qilu University), hospitals (formerly Qilu Hospital), museums (formerly Qingzhou Museum). The latter founder, the famous Li Timothy (Timothy Richard, 1845-1919, founded Shanxi University Hall (formerly Shanxi University), and vigorously advocated Kaiminzhi and Western-style education, which profoundly affected China's modern history.

The Christian Church is located on Ouyuan Street, Qingzhou, also known as the "Worshiping Church". The layout is exquisite and elegant, and has a history of 100 years. It includes the cathedral, chapel, museum, priest's bedding, etc. The architectural style of the whole church is intermingled, which fully reflects the combination of Chinese and Western.
