Taohuadong

Taohua Cave is located in Taohua Village, Daxiang District, Shaoyang City. It is a large karst landform phenomenon in Shaoyang City. The scenery inside the cave is peculiar, with underground undercurrents. In the past, there were many peach trees in front of the cave. In spring, the peach blossoms were in full bloom. The petals fell into the water, passed through the Yin River in the cave, and then flowed out from the stream behind the mountain, so it was called "Peach Cave Flowing Fragrance". Outside the Peach Blossom Cave, there are huge boulders standing, with thin rhizomes, slightly like mushroom-shaped smoke clouds. Song Jingding Jiazi Shaozhou County Shou Mi Deng engraved the three characters "Ancient Yungen" on it, hence the name "Yungen Stone". Mi Deng also wrote the ancient seals "Dongyang Wonderland" and "Peach Cave Liuxiang" and carved two foreheads at the entrance of the cave. Today's Taohua Cave has been transformed, extending the depth of the cave, hardening the road, and adding lighting. Outside the cave, the giant stone called "Yungen Stone" by the ancients is still there. Today, people have worshipped it as "Gao Shi Bodhisattva".
