Fuliang

Fuliang County is located in the northeastern part of Jiangxi Province and is under the jurisdiction of Jingdezhen City. Its landscape abounds in mountains, hills, plains, and rivers. The local specialties are “one porcelain and two teas.” The world ceramics capital, Jingdezhen, has historically been under the jurisdiction of Fuliang County. Fuliang therefore became known as “the source of the world’s porcelain capital.” One of the main tourist attractions here is Yaoli Old Village, the birthplace of Jingdezhen porcelain. The area is surrounded by mountains, ancient lush forests, bridges over flowing streams, waterfalls, and bubbling springs. It is an ideal summer retreat. The county is also home to Lingyan Cave, known as “the first cave in China.” The interior of the cave is made up of protruding stones formed by the flow of water wearing away limestone. This stone forest landscape is a wonder to behold.
