酒店早餐不錯,晚餐一般,不建議,沒有午餐,附近也沒有餐廳,建議在城裡吃完再回來。 關於shuttle bus。下到1層,E區,等shuttle bus,后附時間表。我沒等到,直接打車,10歐出頭,能接受。 附近不好打車,出門有272,上車刷信用卡,272到城裡後轉地鐵,能去很多地方。附近還有471和282,用谷歌地圖看好時間,交通還算方便,就是麻煩點。 倒兩次車能到家樂福等大超市,也能買了東西回酒店自己吃,美滋滋~

This hotel was just somewhere to put our heads down and use as a base for exploring Brussels. We had a room with three single beds, one of which folds up. It was clean, functional and had an ensuite bathroom and separate shower room. The hotel is right beside the main station, trains go to Brussels Central every 15 minute or so and take 20 minutes, kids up to 12 travel for free on the train, and the return tickets are €7.50 at the weekend, €13 during the week. There's a car park as part of the station which is €24 for 24 hours, all we needed. Yes, there were building works going on in the reception, but we had no intention of dining or hanging round a budget hotel when we could be in the Grand Place of Brussels in 25 minutes.

First time I've stayed in a Penta Hotel. Excellent & helpful communication with hotel prior to my stay. Like others I found checking in at the bar very strange and I found the guy at the bar doing this very curt (it was around 11 at night so maybe he had a hard day!). Decor on ground floor very modern, moody and dark - great they had a complimentary water cooler available. Rooms are very small but for one night it was fine - again modern decor and clean. My room could have done with a bit of maintenance however - curtain loose and paint(?) stain on carpet. The strangest thing about the room was how close the hairdryer was to the sink - couldn't really help splashing it when getting washed! Surely this can't be compliant with current safety regulations (see pic). All in all had a great sleep and would use Pentahotels again based on this short 1-night stay.

The hotel only provides 1 free bottle of water per night stay. This is unlike my experience at other hotels, which provide water upon requested. Hence, I have to rely on kettle to boil water. However, the kettle is very dirty, and white flaky stuff could be seen inside the kettle. After boiling water, a layer of oily stuff could be seen floating on the surface. After feedback, the hotel provided another kettle, but this time the water turned cloudy after boiling. I wanted to use the coffee machine to boil water but hesitated after seeing how dirty the filter was. This is totally unexpected of a 4-star hotel.

In my experience hotels such as the Holiday Inn Airport Brussels are few and far between. They were prompt, efficient, had answers to all our questions, and catered to our whims. The lobby/main floor caters to the comforts of their guests with a lounge area, bar area, restaurant area, and an outdoor area. The breakfast and dinner was superb (I had the salmon for dinner). Perhaps an improvement could be made to the three slight level differences in the room as it would be safer for those who are a bit wobbly on their feet.

Stayed for 3 nights as a base to explore Brussels and Belgium. Price is reasonable with free parking. Rooms are plain and minimal decoration and furniture, with a smallish wall-mounted TV (which had pretty good variety of programming). The bathroom was large in my room but this is not standard. The oddest thing was a mini-fridge inside a floor level cupboard which could NOT be plugged in because no outlet at the back for the electrical plug. I had to move the fridge closer to an outlet which forced it to be either in front of (and in the way of) the desk or wardrobe. Better than no fridge but very silly. Staff at front desk were super helpful and friendly. Bartender much less friendly whom only spoke French. Room door was not squarely hung properly as one could see a sliver of light inside the room above the door. Another negative was only one window that opened outward at the top (about 1 foot max). For a room that can get stuffy without air con. this is inadequate to make the room more comfortable. Apparently some superior rooms do have a/c. Front desk claimed that fans were placed in non-a/c rooms but not in my room. There was significant street noise at all hours even with my room on the side rather than street front, including garbage collection. Rooms with a/c can probably drown out most street noise. Front desk promised 24 hour service but no one was on duty at 4:45 when I departed. Just left without checking on account status. Certainly great for 1 or 2 nights. Any longer is not exactly recommended.

Location is great, service is very good too. The hotel, despite being quite new, already shows signs of wear and tear. One of the lifts was not working during my stay and I found the soap container in the bathroom on the floor (it had fallen off the wall). A bit of attention to detail and this place will be unbeatable for a quick stop in Brussels. I'd book it again.
Best Western Hotel Brussels South

I stayed at the Best Western Hotel Brussels South when returning from Austria on a coach trip. From the outside none of us were impressed, the building looks very austere, but on the inside it has been done up to a very high standard. The member of staff on during the evening was rather rude, but the morning staff were excellent. The room was clean but had some wear and tear showing. The TV had BBC1 and BBC2 listed as available channels but didn't work when I was there, but did have some random English language channels if you absolutely needed them. The room had plenty of charging points, with 1 USB charger under the TV. The bathroom seemed very new, but the shower head was at a fixed angle which meant a lot of spray went straight onto the bathroom floor. Even arriving latish at night the shower had very good water pressure and heated up quickly. The bed was comfortable, but was two singles pushed together so I did find I graviated to the dip between them. The pillows were fine, not the best but also not the worst. Breakfast here was a little choatic, but not as bad as in another Best Western I stayed in. This hotel had a number of coach trips in, and each was given their own time for breakfast - unfortunately some of the later coaches arrived at the first sitting, so the staff did have to rush around to ensure the food was kept fully stocked, but did so with a very friendly manner - especially considering the way some of the travellers spoke to them. Location wise this hotel is about 2 hours from the ferry at Dunkirk, there aren't really any amenities nearby, but there are two service stations close by if you wanted some food in the evening. I'd certainly consider staying at this hotel in the future, more likely on a weekday when there are no coach trips.
