Hotel Dengan Bar di Shaanxi, China

Weekend train trek to BaoJi from Xi’an. It’s a very walkable city, and there are bikes all around. Crowne Plaza has a nice longe on the 40th Floor. It is next to a mall, and adjacent to the theater. The park nearby stretches to the historically designed walking bridge into Chencang Old Street (I suggest folk music bar next to Panda Aquarium/BaoJi Station display). Crowne has nice views and comfortable rooms. Staff is bilingual and everything is clean. Of the Crowne Plazas I have stayed in, this one is maintained well.

The hotel is very good and conveniently located near many attractions, making it easy to explore the area. The room was comfortable and the overall environment was pleasant. What made the stay even better was the excellent service from the staff. In particular, Jason provided outstanding support and service throughout my stay. He was very helpful, friendly, and always ready to assist whenever needed. His professionalism and warm attitude truly made a great impression. Overall, I had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Four Points Bell Tower Xian and highly recommend this hotel. It is very convenient - short walking distance to both the Drum Tower and Bell Tower. The room is spacious, clean, well decorated, and beddings and linens are of very high quality. What make it stands out is the service level from the staff, especially Mr. Samuel Wang of the front desk- he checked us in, made sure we are comfortable and reacted very quickly whenever there are any nitty gritty things that needs to be attended to. We will be back next time we are in Xian.

Walking distance to Mt Hua entrance. Comfortable stay. Like the water pressure in the shower. Nice view of the mountain too. Hotel also help to purchase tickets to Mt Hua.

Everything met my expectations for comfort and good service. The room was nicely furnished, very spacious, and felt peaceful and private. The hotel's location is convenient, and the whole atmosphere is pleasant and well-kept. I was especially impressed by the staff. The front desk team was very professional and took care of everything we needed. The housekeeping was also excellent—they kept the room spotlessly clean without ever being intrusive. The whole stay felt smooth and relaxed, which is exactly what you want. It’s the kind of consistent, quality experience that makes me definitely want to stay here again when I'm back in Xi'an.

We stayed at the Himalaya Hotel Xi'An only for 2 nights but would have happily stayed more. The staff were extremely helpful and polite from the moment that we arrived. The frontage is a bit quirky with a huge transformer type robot outside that continuously announced something but you couldn't hear it inside. Also the only access to the hotel was via a lift to the 5th floor through the ground floor entrance and although a bit stark was fine once we arrived at the reception. Our room was on the same floor as the reception and restaurant (5th) so was handy. We looked out onto the front which wasn't noisy at all. The room was clean and generally well equipped but it's worth noting that there wasn't a fridge or safe. The location was convenient being less than a 10 minute walk to the metro station and close to restaurants and food stalls. Make sure that you download Alipay before you arrive in China and all payments will be simple. The metro staff helped us with it as did shop assistants and even various security officials. WeChat is also useful. It was also next to the Bell tower. Xi'An Wall is easily travelled to by metro. We took local transport(metro then bus) to the Terracotta Army Museum which was interesting and fun but I'm sure that there are many tours. Just stop anyone and ask for help and they will accommodate you(translating apps help tremendously- Alipay has one too) Breakfast was a good selection too and thankfully mostly local(stay in your own country if you're going to complain). Again the staff were kind and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

The staff are kind, friendly and very helpful. I messed up my booking arrived at 2am and was still welcomed and got a room. The staff was also really helpful with finding locations like hair salons etc The place is beautiful - absolutely beautiful. The area is calm, has local restaurants and a lot of electronic stores. At the same time the location is very central and not far from the metro, bell tower and street food. The bed is really good. Lots of pillows, towels, smart toilet, nice body products and lots of plugs. There were also snacks and tea all day long and free luggage storage.

First time staying at a Hampton by Hilton chain but I have to admit that I am quite pleased. We got three deluxe Queen rooms. Things that I was very impressed with: 1) The available washer and dryer in the hotel which was free to use for all guests. 2) How accommodating and warm everyone was. From the check in staff, to the housekeepers, and even the security. Granted language was a barrier but they were always trying their best to make you feel at ease. 3) Robot delivering food to you when you order food delivery on *******. Impressive! 4) Stunning view of the Xi’an wall especially if you get the room with this view. Things that i think could improve, 1) the room’s toilet has a mild stench which could have been cleaned more thoroughly. It was really mild and something that could be overlooked during my stay. I do have to admit that I should have said something about it to the hotel but somehow never got the chance to do so. 2) the breakfast spread was okay, but somethings could be better. For example the pastry and cakes needs to be improved and it would be nice if there were a litte more variety each day. All said, it was still acceptable especially for the price we paid for the rooms.

A real gem in China! Friendly staff, who were very happy to help with tickets for attractions and shows, as well as provide everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hotel itself is well located for everything and for anything further afield, Xi'an's Didis are inexpensive and the drivers are generally super friendly and accommodating. Breakfast selections were fine, everything is cooked to order, which we all liked as usual hotel buffets tend to be less fresh and hot. The hotel was quirky and interesting, and my children really enjoyed their time at the cat cafe. All in all, a fantastic stay in a comfortable, well appointed and very reasonably priced hotel.
