Awesome stay at the best hotel in Mindo. Thanks to Marco and team for the superb service, always quick to respond to any enquiry on WhatsApp even before I arrive. He also arranged a driver to pick me to/from Quito, who came in a 4 door 4wd but despite limited English, was really nice and drives safely. Location is convenient as they can always call for a taxi which arrives in minutes and going to town is $3. Birdwatching-wise was good in the hotel, I saw 20 species in 2 days with 2 toucan species, bronze winged parrot and crested guan particularly memorable for me but hummingbirds are few. The room balcony is very productive but the upstairs main lounge has different variety of birds. I stayed in the luxury cabin which is on a more secluded and slightly higher area than the deluxe cabin. Generally very quiet except for odd moments where loud music can be heard for a couple of songs in day time and also for some reason at around 9pm the dogs bark for 5-10 mins. But overall, very relaxed and restful stay and definitely recommended to stay here. The saddest part was not staying longer.

The location is ideal—tucked in a peaceful part of La Mariscal, just a short walk from Plaza Foch and some of Quito’s best restaurants and shops. My room was quiet, stylish, and very comfortable, with a serene garden view that made me feel instantly relaxed. Breakfast each morning was fresh, generous, and thoughtfully prepared. The entire experience felt safe, polished, and perfectly cared for. If you’re looking for elegance, cleanliness, and world-class service, Hotel Villa Lafayette is simply the best choice in Ecuador. I would return in a heartbeat!

I stayed at ibis Hotel Quito for a three nights and really enjoyed my time there. The hotel is clean, modern, and in a super convenient location — close to restaurants, shops, and easy access to main attractions around the city. The staff were all really friendly and helpful, always ready to answer questions or give local tips. My room was comfortable and had everything I needed — comfy bed, good Wi-Fi, and hot shower (which I really appreciated after a long day out!). Breakfast was tasty with plenty of options, and the coffee was great too. The hotel also felt very safe, which made my stay even more relaxing. Overall, it was a great experience — simple, comfortable, and excellent value for money. I’d definitely stay here again next time I’m in Quito

The reason I booked this hotel was because of the superb reviews. I can confirm the accuracy of those reviews. This is a fabulous place to stay. The staff are great. The facilities are exceptional. The restaurant is wonderful and has such a variety of delicious food. The health pool has crystal clear water. My room was much larger than what I'm used to over the last five weeks of traveling. It is easy to get the concierge to book excursions. There are airline check-in machines in the foyer. This is easily the best hotel I have stayed in over the past five weeks and comes with my highest recommendation.

Love this hotel! Near the airport. Great food. Always friendly. If you’re overnighting in Quito this is the airport you want to stay at.

The facilities at this hotel are somewhat outdated, and the decor feels a bit old-fashioned. It would be great to see some modernization in these areas. That said, the view from the upper floors is fantastic and definitely a highlight of the stay. Additionally, the breakfast was quite good, with a decent variety and tasty options. Overall, the experience was pleasant, but upgrading the facilities and decor would significantly improve the stay.

The hotel gave me a much larger roon than last time and it was really fantastic with great views of the mountains. Breakfast is still a bit sad as not much hot food choices. Location is very convenient.

Good customer service. My single occupancy room wasn't huge, but it was big wrought and had a big windows that could open for fresh air. HOT WATER in the sinks and showers (thank heavens!). The wifi was slow, but it worked well enough. The front desk is 24/7. The location is also good with many shops, restaurants, grocery stores, public transport stops, ATMs, and more around. I'd stay here again.

Accommodation is OK, Quito is not developed as a whole, this hotel is still recommended, in the city, the room is more exquisite and clean, business trip is relatively high

Very good hotel, the service is very careful, learned that we are from China, specially wrote a welcome letter in Chinese, including Quito restaurants, specialty shops and other messages. In addition, don't worry about the hotel in the pedestrian area. The pedestrian area can pass the car at night. We land at 1 am and take a taxi directly to the hotel entrance. You can also call the pick-up and drop-off service through the hotel.
