Located in the small town of Paducah, in the heart of the United States, near the river on the Mississippi River, the hotel is overlooked by the Ohio River. The hotel is located in Kentucky, across the river from Illinois. The hotel is very clean and the town is quiet and suitable for rest. The only thing that is not very convenient is that there is no place to shop or eat near the hotel, and the food at the hotel is very simple.

The hotel is located above a path and very quiet. The hotel is in the kind of trendy style, almost no wood, the room is very compact, the heating and hot water are sufficient, and overall it feels very warm.
Breakfast is very good, freshly ground coffee tastes great, service is not bad.

The rooms are spacious, good heating/air conditioning, bed was comfortable. Some of the furniture needed replacing due to cosmetic reasons , the leather was peeled off the chair in the room. It wasn’t extremely quiet in the room, I could hear the tv from another room. But it was not extremely loud. I didn’t say anything about it. It’s nice….especially for the price. I will stay again if I’m in the area.

The location of the Galt House is unbeatable—right in the heart of downtown Louisville with breathtaking views of the Ohio River. It’s within walking distance to many attractions, making it perfect for both business and leisure travelers. The moment I stepped into the lobby, I was struck by the grand, modern decor that beautifully blends the hotel’s historic charm with contemporary elegance. The room I stayed in was spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room offered stunning river views that made waking up each morning a delight. The amenities were top-notch, from the plush bathrobes to the high-quality toiletries. I truly appreciated the attention to detail. Dining at the Swizzle Dinner & Drinks restaurant was an experience in itself! The rotating restaurant offers a unique and elevated dining experience with panoramic views of the city skyline. MMareaHarrisNICE LOCATION, NICE SPACIOUS ROOM, WE LOVED THE HAPPY HOUR AND APPETIZERS AND JUST A BEAUTIFUL PLACE TO STAY. VERY COMFORTABLE BED (PILLIOSW NOT SO MUCH) SHOWER GOT REALLY HOT WHICH WE REALLY APPROECIATED. ONLY ISSUE FOR US IS THAT WE DID HAVE A PET SMELL THAT WAS UNBEARABLE AT TIMES BUT THEY SAID THEY DONT BELIEVE OUR ROOM HAD A PET IN THERE BEFORE OUR STAY. I HAVE BAD ALLERGIES AND SNEEZED ALL NIGHT LONG

Keeping in mind the price the hotel was not bad. The rooms were pretty clean. The bed was really soft even though I prefer a Firm bed. The ladies that were running the front counter while I was. There were very friendly and helpful. I even forgot my toothbrush and they gave me a free one. The breakfast that's included is okay for the average person. However, I may type 2 diabetic and the only friendly diabetic food. They had what was water. All of the food was high in carbohydrates. So bad for diaboth days. The hot item was biscuits and gravy was really hoping for some eggs. Maybe some bacon but no. In my particular room, which was one nineteen, the bathroom door could stand to be replaced lots of paint piling on it, and the bottom of it. Looks like someone had kicked it or something the bottom piece was coming off. The shower dispenser, the shampoo side kept falling. The little tables broke landed on my toes. So I just left it down. If I was to ever return to Kentucky which nothing I have planned I would stay at this hotel. Agand just would remember to bring swimming trunks so I could use the pool. And just a little visual effects you. the fake bottles in the Pop machine or soda machines whichever you prefer couldn't stand replacing they look bad.

We were impressed with and enjoyed everything about this hotel. If we had to pick what stands out the most it would be the friendliness and service of all the staff we came in contact with from the front desk to the cleaning staff and the server at the buffet which was, by the way, amazingly good. We've stayed here before and have never been disappointed.

This hotel was in a perfect location for our families spring break trip while we visited the Mamath Caves, Lost River Cave and the National Corvette Measume. Plenty of restaurants around and easy on/off of the main hwy. Breakfast being included was a plus. My boyfriend enjoyed the biscuits and gravy and the kids loved the waffles. The pool and hot tub were loved by all and we went in them all of the three nights we were there. The rooms were average size and nothing special, could use a little fixing up here and there and maybe some hooks on back of bathroom door or a rack above toilet for a place to hang towels but it was a place to sleep and shower. One thing I can say is that the parking lot was not very large in the front of the hotel and most spots already taken as times we came and went so we had to park on the side lot which is on a slanted hill and it's a pain in the butt getting in and out. We would still stay again as the price for what you get was the best we found around.

Due to weather the Venue we were going to see was canceled. Due to Winter Storm We were unable we to make the trip as well but we always stay here when we go to the Silver Eagle Venues, great place and staff.
