The rooms are very compact, and have everything you need apart from a cooking area. There is a fridge though. There is storage under the bed and good air conditioning. You can also have access to a laundry room and parking around the corner for an extra charge. With a bar and restaurant downstairs and it's central location it's perfect for exploring the city. The staff are very friendly and supportive too.

It’s a nice 2km walk to the city center, and you could stroll around the park in the evening to check out the Auckland Botanical Garden. Just a heads-up, there’s no airport transfer, but you can easily grab an Uber.

The hotel is in a convenient location. The staff are professional. Rooms are a nice size with a kitchenette and washing machine and dryer. Gym is ok but basic with poor wifi connection. Could have an elliptical machine. Close to the Botanical garden and Hagley park.

We had a wonderful stay at Novotel Christchurch Airport.
The location is unbeatable — literally just a short walk from the airport terminal, making it incredibly convenient, especially for travellers with young children. We stayed for one night with our toddler as we had an early morning flight the next day, and it was the perfect choice. Being able to rest properly without worrying about airport transfers made our journey so much smoother.
The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped for our family. Everything was clean and thoughtfully laid out, giving us a relaxing stay before our flight.
The staff were warm, friendly, and welcoming throughout our stay. A special mention to the concierge team, who kindly gifted our toddler a cute little Kiwi bird plushie. It was such a thoughtful gesture and brought a huge smile to his face. Small touches like these really make a difference and leave a lasting impression.
Overall, we had a very comfortable and pleasant stay. Great service, fantastic location, and family-friendly hospitality. We would definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Christchurch.

I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Give Christchurch. The location is fantastic—just directly opposite the beautiful Christchurch Botanic Gardens, which is perfect for a relaxing walk.
Many of the main attractions are within walking distance, making it very convenient to explore the city without needing transport.
Overall, a comfortable and well-located hotel. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Christchurch.

Had a great stay here! The backpacker hostel was clean, comfortable, and had a really friendly atmosphere. Staff were helpful and the location was convenient for exploring the area. Met lots of awesome travelers during my stay. Would definitely recommend for budget travelers!

Flawless stay with spectacular views and outstanding service!
We had an absolutely wonderful family stay at Peppers Bluewater Resort. Everything about this property deserves a perfect 5/5.
The room itself was excellent, incredibly comfortable, and spotlessly clean. To top it all off, the views from the resort were simply spectacular and made our stay feel truly special. The amenities and location were also fantastic.
What really set this experience apart, though, was the exceptional staff. Everyone was incredibly welcoming, but we want to give a special thank you to the restaurant Sophia, and Kate at reception. They both went above and beyond to provide great help and made us feel so well looked after.
We highly recommend this resort to anyone traveling with family and would absolutely stay here again!

Fantastic stay at the hotel the room was spacious and comfortable. It's so closed to the city centre was great for me to meet with friends before coming to the hotel to crash for the evening. Pretty happy with the price, the comfort factors and staff are all very friendly.

房間：很乾凈，衞生間的多層毛巾架是加熱的，毛巾和小件的衣服放在上面第二天就幹了，很方便。
服務：前台有會中文的服務人員，所以對英文一般的遊客來説很方便～
注意：前台不是24小時的，如果太早或太晚到達、離開，提前通知酒店，酒店會告訴你如何自助入住取卡～英文不好的話，可以讓攜程幫忙聯繫～

GGuest UserMy friends and I had a great stay at The Bealey Quarter! The motel is situated in Christchurch City, allowing easy access to the tourist sites, whether you're travelling on foot, by car, or by public transport. There are plenty of buses and metro buses that frequently stop right near the accommodation as well!
The staff were very friendly. We had a late flight (that got delayed even later) and ended up having to check in after hours. They were very accommodating with this, and similarly, when we asked for new towels, we received them immediately. Similarly, they were kind enough to allow us to put our luggage in their reception office whilst we went to collect our rental car on the day that we checked out. My only issue is that I had to contact them a few times before I received the late check-in details.
The facilities were lovely. and very clean! The bathroom was private with a shower with good pressure and hot water. The bench and the toilet were a little high, which we were surprised by, but this wasn't a major issue at all! My only recommendation would be to add a ventilation fan to the bathroom, as although there is an open window above the sink, ventilation was still not ideal. The room came with a heater, a really good fan, and very comfy blankets and duvets. We were also provided with glasses and mugs, a selection of tea, coffee, and hot chocolate, a hair dryer, a bin, a little cupboard, desk, chair, and even a bench where our suitcases fit really well. The view of the courtyard was beautiful despite the somewhat miserable weather, and access to the courtyard via the back door meant we could use the hammocks in the nice grassy area :) The back door was a bit tough to open, and we had to actually get the staff to show us how to use it. My only other qualm is that there is no potable water in the rooms themselves. Instead, our keycard allows us to the Lodge (I believe the hostel area), where there's a kitchen and we can fill up.
Overall, we had a great experience here and I definitely recommend the Bealey Quarter to anyone coming to Christchurch. It was so affordable too :))

GGuest UserI was a bit disappointed. I was expecting this to be a 5 star place, but there were a lot of things that were definitely not 5 stars. The robes were grey and didn't cover bigger people. One of them had pilling all over it, I didn't want to even wear it. The bathroom door squeaked loudly, so if one person got up to the toilet in the middle of the night, it woke the other person up. There were instructions on how to use the spa bath, but not on how to put the plug in. It didn't just plug in normally. We weren't able to use it on our first night which was very frustrating as it was one of our main attractions. I rang housekeeping the next day. Someone came and had a look and said that you had to turn a know on the side of the spa, how would anyone know that? The lock on the door to outside was broken and a small slide lock had been put on. Why not fix the main lock? I used the toilets to the side of the library and when I washed my hands, the tap was all loose and wobbled round. All these things are little but show that the lodge needs to have things fixed or updated. For $300 per night, you expect the best. The worse thing was on our last morning, we got to breakfast about 8:45, the restaurant closes at 9:30 am. There was continental and scrambled eggs and bacon. At about 9:00 am they stopped bringing out anymore bread to toast. No more croissants, eggs or bacon were brought out. There were about 6 tables with guests and everyone kept going up and checking, but they didn't refill. People were saying, they must have run out of food! But for some reason the waiter kept lifting the lids to the egg and bacon to see what was in there, but of course there was nothing as he hadn't refilled it and he was the only waiter!! I was really disappointed and wouldn't recommend it, unless you are getting a really good discount.

GGuest UserThis is a fantastic hotel. Due to flight issues, I checked in late at night, but the lobby was incredibly warm and comfortable, with a beautiful and pleasant atmosphere. The environment is truly outstanding. It faces a large park, offering lovely views, and the transportation is convenient as it's right in the city center and very close to the airport. The lobby fireplace was cozy, and the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming, treating guests like family. The room was very clean and tidy, hygienic, and comfortable. It was spacious, and the bedding was excellent – clean and very comfortable to use. The bathroom was great, and the room overall was very spacious, neat, bright, and grand. Everything felt relatively new. I would definitely stay here again next time. It offers great value for money.

Its convenience is exceptional; it's within walking distance of the airport terminal and right next to the International Antarctic Centre. The city center is about a 15-minute drive away, with smooth public transport connections, making it ideal for layovers and business trips. A 30-minute ride on the #3 bus, costing 6 New Zealand Dollars, will take you to downtown attractions like the Riverside Market commercial center, Christchurch Botanic Gardens, and Christchurch Art Gallery.
The hotel boasts excellent facilities, including 200 modern rooms equipped with floor-to-ceiling windows, soundproofing, smart TVs, and minibars. It features a scenic restaurant, a fitness center, multi-functional meeting rooms, 24-hour front desk service, and complimentary Wi-Fi. The environment is comfortable and elegant, making it convenient for both travel and accommodation.
Guests can also enjoy the convenience of a Woolworths supermarket and various dining options, including the International Antarctic Centre, all less than a 10-minute walk away.

AAxinwukongThe location is fantastic! It's convenient for getting everywhere. The cathedral is right downstairs, and it's not far from the lakeside market or the Cardboard Cathedral, all within walking distance. The sightseeing bus stop is also close by, and the Avon River gondola rides are nearby too. Taking a taxi to the Botanic Gardens, the University of Canterbury School of Fine Arts, and the art gallery isn't far either. Both New Brighton Pier and Sumner Beach are about 10 kilometers away by taxi, similar to the distance to the airport, and Uber fares are reasonable. Overall, I'm satisfied. Just a minor note, it seemed like the shampoo and other amenities weren't checked and might have run out without being noticed.

Xxiaohhh333A beautiful villa resort, very spacious and comfortable with stunning views from the balcony. There are also lovely hiking trails nearby. The only odd thing was that the duvet didn't have a cover. Lunch and dinner were excellent – not expensive but very high-quality. The service was great, and the room even had a washer and dryer.

GGuest UserI had a cosy and comfortable stay. The friendly staff at the reception offered a complimentary shuttle to the airport next morning, a service which I had not realized was available.
The staff truly went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Thoughtful gestures included offering a bottle of fresh milk, which was an unexpected but lovely touch, as well as assistance in carrying of luggage to both room and on board shuttle van.
All these small acts of kindness made me feel so welcomed, especially on my last night in New Zealand. :)

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is great, right across from Lake Tekapo with a supermarket and restaurants nearby. Our lake-view room had a balcony where we could see the lake, but it was already dark when we arrived so we couldn't fully appreciate it. There were no disposable slippers in the room, so I had to go barefoot 😅. Also, it seems that hotels in New Zealand don't use duvet covers; instead, the duvet is sandwiched between two sheets, which might be a bit uncomfortable for those with germophobia.
It was quite chilly in Tekapo in May evenings; even with a light down jacket, I was still shivering a bit, so we canceled our stargazing plans. However, I managed to capture some brilliant stars with my phone from the balcony, which was a nice consolation. The TLV restaurant and bar across from the hotel had pretty good food.
