Hotel Dengan Bar di Western Area, Sierra Leone

The hotel manager Ahmed was very helpful and tried to resolve most of my concerns. The apartment are not to standard at all. Thanks to Ahmed and the hotel staff that helped moved me from the apartment building to the main hotel. The food is good.

Praise it. On the top of the mountain, the view is very good and overlooks the entire city. The house is also clean and the staff is very welcoming and beyond imagination. Recommended hotel.

The  staff were very professional, friendly and hospitable from the cleaners, restaurant staff, security personnel and reception staff. The food was excellent and the breakfast sumptuous.

I spent the weekend at the Hotel and checked out 5 hours. When I arrived at my destination I noticed I had forgotten 2000 new leones under my mattress. I called the Hotel and was informed by the Reception staff that the housekeeping staff had cleaned the room and found nothing. I was staying at room 127 and I believe the housekeeping staff found my money. I believe whichever staff was assigned to clean the room should be investigated. Intact, I had to call the receptionist 3 times before they could answer my calls as they kept dropping the calls. They are aware and I would take action if the Hotel fails to take action. I have been staying at this Hotel for about 5 years and believe the staff are putting the Reputation of Radisson Blu at stake.

The location of the hotel is good, very close to the center of Freetown, the rooms are hygienic and clean, and the hosts are nice. It is a good choice to come to Freetown. Breakfast is simple, delicious and comfortable.

Secondly, I was upgraded to a larger room with a kitchen, washer, and dryer inside the room at no cost because the hotel was crowded. (That has nothing to do with the review.) The room was very clean and up to my standards. I was there every single day, basking in the sun. The pool boy was there every single day cleaning the pool. The whole menu was western food (burgers, pizza, etc.). When you are in Sierra Leone, you might want some of the local staple food. Have some local dishes on the menu as well for those of us who are curious about the local cuisines.”

Small clean well run simple hotel with light and water , nice pool area good value food and drink.
