Sufrí en mi habitación el ingreso de una persona ajena mientras estaba preparándome para dormir. Fue un momento de pánico. La persona que estaba a cargo en la noche en e lobby, cometió un error y le dió una tarjeta habilitada para mi pieza a otro pasajero que venía ingresando. Menos mal estaba en el baño y pude encerrarme cuando ví que alguien ingresó. Nadie se me acercó después del hecho a corroborar si yo estaba bien. estuve encerrada en el baño gritando pidiendo ayuda, nadie vino. Incluso cuando el pasajero que hizo ingreso habiéndose devuelto al lobby para contar lo que le ocurrió (sin yo saber nada aun porque estaba encerrada pensando que había un delincuente en mi pieza), la persona encargada solo llamo por citófono a la habitación y yo no pude responder ya que estaba encerrada con pánico en el baño, nadie fue a mi pieza a corroborar nada ni a decirme que fue un error. NADA. Fue espantoso, cero protocolo de seguridad.

My two-night stay at the Holiday Inn Express Iquique was comfortable and enjoyable. I requested a room facing the pool/courtyard area, and it was quiet, despite its position on the ground floor. Common areas and my room were clean overall, if not dated and in need of some renovating. The staff were friendly, and most of the reception folks spoke English at a proficient level. Breakfast was basic but sufficient. I would gladly return on a future Iquique trip!

Fui a celebrar la noche de Año Nuevo con alojamiento incluido. Hice el checking temprano y no había donde estacionar por lo que tuve que dejar mi vehículo en la calle. LLegué a la hora indica a cenar y demoraron 2 hrs. para comenzar a servir. Esperaban que se completara mi mesa, lo que no ocurrió. Más de media hr. entre cada atención aprox., terminando a las 23:55 hrs. con la entrega del postre, la champaña y cábalas. Finalmente, dejaron pasar a altas horas de la madrugada hasta mi habitación a una persona conocida que me fue a saludar, sin aviso previo de recepción ni haber dado el número de mi cuarto. Lo informé en el checkout.

With a waterfront location somewhat secluded from central Iquique, stays at this property are quiet and relaxing. The atmosphere inside is dated, but I observed cleanliness throughout the building. The staff at reception and the restaurant (open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (breakfast available free with certain room rates)) were professional and friendly, perhaps not the American-style outgoing type but still kind and helpful. I was able to pay a reasonable fee to upgrade to a room facing the water, which I was very content about; my king room was clean, spacious, and super quiet. Renovations would be the next step to making the rooms even better, though. I would return to the NH Costa if I’m in Iquique again! And for my very first experience in an NH hotel, my interest in the brand is piqued!

La mejor vista de Cavancha …habitaciones limpias…desayuno adecuado …pero lejos lo mejor es la atención del personal, la recepcionista Valentina es lo mejor …amable, con muy buena disposición …sin dudas ella hizo desde nuestra llegada que la experiencia fuera la mejor … como nuestro vuelo de regreso a casa era a media noche pudimos dejar las maletas en recepción y aprovechar el día en la playa … Valentina se preocupó de dejarnos juegos de mesa para que en la noche nuestra espera no fuera tan larga …sin dudas una maravillosa experiencia
