The biggest advantage of staying at this hotel for a business trip, especially with an early morning flight the next day, is the free airport shuttle service. It's only a five-minute ride to the airport. While the hotel lacks breakfast facilities and the decor is a bit dated, the cleanliness and service are perfectly fine. It's an excellent choice for a layover.

From check-in to check-out, the experience exceeded my expectations. 🌟 Location: Convenient transportation, a 5-minute walk from the subway station, with plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. It's quiet and not noisy at night. 🏨 Room: The design is simple and modern, the bedding is comfortable (the mattress is just right, not too soft or too hard), and the shower has strong water pressure with fast hot water. The details are well thought out – plenty of charging outlets, a mini-fridge, and effective blackout curtains. 🤵 Service: The front desk staff are enthusiastic and professional, proactively reminding us about the weather and tourist attractions. Housekeeping responds quickly; items we needed were delivered within minutes. 🍽️ Breakfast: A rich variety, with authentic local snacks and delicious freshly ground coffee. 💯 Value for Money: Absolutely excellent value for its price range! We even received a small souvenir upon check-out, which was a thoughtful touch. I will definitely choose this place again next time I visit this city. Very satisfied with this stay! The room was clean and tidy, the bed was especially comfortable, and I slept soundly all night. The staff were friendly and helpful, answering all our questions. The location is convenient, and it's a short taxi ride to all the attractions. The breakfast was simple but tasty. Recommended! I must commend the service at this hotel! Traveling with a child, the front desk specifically arranged a quiet room and provided children's slippers and toothbrushes. Let me write a serious review about this accommodation experience. I landed at 1 AM, and there was still a staff member there for the late-night airport pickup. Communication was very smooth. Thumbs up. It was already late when I checked in. A second staff member helped me with the check-in process and then assisted with carrying my luggage. This saved a lot of time and effort. Thumbs up. The next day, I wanted to extend my stay, but it seemed all the rooms were booked. I bothered the second staff member again to help coordinate, and eventually, I didn't have to switch rooms and could continue staying in my original room. Thumbs up. It happened to be graduation season for university students, so there were many young people staying who were up late at night. As a middle-aged person who has trouble sleeping, I once again bothered the front desk staff. Their response was very quick, and after a while, the surroundings became much quieter. I felt really bad about bothering the staff; as the saying goes, 'customers' requests keep the staff on their toes,' but their attitude was genuinely excellent. The apartment was also clean, and the disposable amenities made me feel more at ease. Thumbs up. Finally, the staff member asked if I needed an airport drop-off. From start to finish, the service was complete and thorough. Thumbs up. The beach opposite the apartment was less crowded, had a great atmosphere, and was perfect for photos.

The room is very comfortable and clean, and the hygiene is very positive every day. The service is very good, the front desk and the boss who drinks tea next to you will chat with you and provide information. The shuttle service to and from the island pier: very convenient, the master is very good. The picture and the house actually match. The boss and staff are very good, the people are very simple, there will be no sales. Many places will tell you how to go, the battery car will also tell you where to rent a car, the location of the homestay is very good, the traffic, and the photo check-in are very convenient, the whole journey is great.

I gave it a 4.5-star rating, just to keep them humble and prevent them from getting too proud if it were a perfect 5. 😉 The hotel lobby, though small, is cozy and welcoming. There was a lovely, round-faced lady at the front desk who was especially friendly. The bed in the room was very comfortable, and despite being close to the road, the windows offered good sound insulation. However, the soundproofing between rooms wasn't as great. 😅 The restaurant is on the sixth floor; while the breakfast selection isn't vast, it's sufficient. The rooftop view is also quite nice, making it a perfect spot for sunbathing and relaxing. All in all, I was quite satisfied with my stay!

The room was fantastic, so much so that we extended our stay for another day. The service was incredibly warm and welcoming, and they even have their own parking lot. The rooftop terrace offers a beautiful view, and if the evening temperature is just right, sitting on the sofa with a drink or tea is incredibly relaxing. What's more, you can order takeout or bring your own food and drinks to enjoy at the rooftop restaurant. For lunch, my partner and I went to 'Haidai First Restaurant' for seafood; the portions were huge, and we couldn't finish it all, so we just packed the leftovers to eat later that evening.

Gulangyu Island boasts over a thousand villas of various styles, and while 'The Wizard of Oz' might not be the most luxurious, the walls completely covered in climbing ivy give the entire building an ancient, mysterious, yet vibrant feel. A straight wooden staircase leads you to each tightly closed wooden door. Standing on the small balcony in the morning, I was instantly moved to tears by the bougainvillea blooming in abundance at the corner of the wall! This is definitely a building that lives up to its name, 'The Wizard of Oz! A Century-Old Secret Realm'! The room's amenities were impeccable, but the service was even more touching. The young man at the front desk was our guide, our greeter, our room tour host, and even helped us with our luggage when he had a spare moment. On the second day, he was even the one preparing our afternoon tea and coffee! He truly delivered on the promise of 24-hour service! Not only was he available on call, but he also provided personalized service based on our preferences. He's a rare gem! I loved it so much that I extended my stay by another night, and if I could, I'd want to live there forever! I'll be back, 'The Wizard of Oz'!!!

There's also a gym, swimming pool, and dry sauna on the first floor, which was a fantastic bonus. The hotel's facilities, breakfast, staff service, ambiance, and location are all exceptionally good. The butler service was very thoughtful and attentive. During the New Year's Day holiday, the hotel was mostly full of families with children, so it was quite noisy at night (the kind of noise that even good soundproofing couldn't block). As a light sleeper, I couldn't handle it, so the butler helped me move to the quieter Water Garden area, which I really liked. Because I couldn't sleep well, my chronic stomach issues flared up, and I couldn't eat anything, everything looked heavy and greasy. I just wanted something light. That evening, the butler thoughtfully arranged for some warm, soft-boiled plain congee and side dishes to be delivered to my room, which was truly a lifesaver.
