Hotel Beach di Shandong, China

First of all, I’d like to thank the incredibly friendly staff who managed to arrange an apartment room for us on the 34th floor with a breathtaking view of the East China Sea, even though we checked in at 1 am. There was also a fruit basket in our room upon arrival, which I’d like to highlight as a very positive touch, as it makes you feel valued as a guest. Overall, our stay at the Haiyi International was wonderful; the apartment was spotlessly clean, and the facilities were exactly as described. What’s more, the location is very central on the beach promenade, so we were able to enjoy the light show from our apartment every evening or take a mere 10-minute walk to the beach. For a family of three adults, this apartment is absolutely lovely, especially as it had two bathrooms as well as a fully equipped kitchen. The only thing I would suggest improving is that the bedroom number two are separated from the living room by glass walls, and as these aren’t fully soundproof, you can hear people in the living room from the second bedroom. Another area for improvement is that, although there are curtains for the glass wall between the living room and bedroom number 2, there is a glass section next to the door to the room that cannot be covered by the curtain, which means the room is flooded with light coming through from the living room. We also noticed during our stay that the hot water runs very slowly, unfortunately – though this is more down to the building itself. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Haiyi International and would book this hotel again for our next visit to Qingdao, thanks to the friendly staff, the excellent location and the facilities.

Amazing service from all staff I interacted with. Abby was especially wonderful in checking up on my needs but also giving a little special something each day. Different fruit would be sent to my room and after mentioning I like a particular fruit more of that would arrive. Mia at check was very helpful and polite and I also receive a Bvlgari gift. The hotel was super well located for the major landmarks.

Beautiful ocean view and lovely room, I really enjoyed my few days of sunsets and mornings here! Not the cleanest room or newest building, but everything works and it's amazing for the price. The smart home voice feature for lights and curtains was so useful. Deposit required at check-in. The staff is very responsive and helpful, after notifying them about a broken screen in the room they already dispatched people to help fix it within minutes. I had zero issues with takeout being delivered to the room which made breakfast and meals easy. I came to Weihai for the snowy beach but the weather was disappointingly good lol. However it was a relaxing staycation because of this homestay and I'm so glad I decided to choose this place in the end!!

服務不夠主動，預訂時就備註要兩片小童圍欄，並且打電話告知。到了酒店入住時又和前台説了，到了房間很久也沒給送。打電話催促才給送，且就剩下一片，還是快斷掉的。被子很糟糕，竟然沒有封口，蓋的時候總是亂跑。房間又挨着馬路實在睡不好，提前一天退房。希望酒店可以更新下設施

This place is a beautiful view and really great service, you’ve got to check this place out 👍 The room is super clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The staff are all so friendly and take really good care of you. They’ve got everything you need, including free Wi-Fi. And the best part? The view from the room is amazing—so relaxing. I loved it so much! 🌿✨

We really liked this hotel. It was very clean and well maintained. Despite being in a busy area, the room was completely soundproof, which made it very comfortable and quiet. The view of the city was also very nice. The location is very convenient right next to the city bus station, which is perfect if you’re heading to places like Penglai or going to the airport. It’s also only about a 12-minute walk from the train station. A nice bonus was the coffee machine where you can make an Americano. I arrived around 10 a.m. and was pleasantly surprised that my room was already ready for check-in. They had even prepared the baby crib in advance, which was a great touch. Overall, 5 stars for everything there.

這個公寓酒店地處市中心，去哪兒都方便。雖然屬於民宿式，沒有前台，但是服務非常周到，從入住前的入住指導到入住期間的溝通，都很細緻貼心。打電話總是即時接聽，回答問題和處理請求都是非常及時，令人滿意，做到了有問必答，有求必應。以後來煙台還會住這裏，也推薦其他朋友這家民宿。

海景雙床房超出預期！房間乾淨整潔，雙床寬敞舒適，床品柔軟好睡。落地窗無敵海景，隨時能看大海日落，視野絕佳。設施齊全，隔音好，出門離沙灘很近，服務貼心，出行結伴住這裏太合適，值得回購！

Nice hotel by the seaside for a night. Service was fantastic. The boss is super kind and even gave me a free local drink on the way out. They also gave me a free upgrade. The style of the hotel is rustic and a bit campy—if you’re into that, it’s a great place. The room definitely looked a little older but there was a certain vintage charm to it. There’s a really cute cat outside too :) The WiFi is not the best which was a problem for me. The inside of the kettle was a tad dirty. Additionally, I stayed on the 1st floor and for some reason whenever anyone opened or closed a door I could feel it vibrate through my door.

We, 2 families who had been traveling across China, stayed at this hotel for 2 amazing nights. Very bright and light rooms with great planning! Rooms were very big, amazing. The view was absolutely stunning. It literally had views at one of the biggest lakes of the Shandong province. It was fairly cheap for China btw. We absolutely loved everything in this hotel! Highly recommend it!
