Was welcomed by the very friendly Dark haired Desk Manager. She swiftly glanced at the colors of my outfit and assigned me a room that perfectly matches... I found out that later as it was a pleasant surprise, she guessed that I drink lots of tea, so she gave me a huge luxury tea kettle to take to my room, some people are emotional genuises! She figured I booked this hotel because of the name... So she explained to me the historic significance of Fium-Icino and it's incredible subtle multi-player Ed lesser relation to the famous Rubicon, which used to be called Fium-Icino until the rediscovery of the Rubicon.. It's like all the Great rivers know each other! She explained that the Rubicon became associated with Barracks populism and the Tiber became associated with Aristocratic democracy and later on Enjoying Catholicism. The Hotel itself sits on the mouth of Second tributary canal that fed the new port of old Rome, because the original Tiber last miles were full of it! If you must see the older river Port is a 15 minute walk south across until you reach the North banks across of Ostia. As that settled in my mind, she explained the Tiber significance Upstream Rome... Small boats used to go up the Tiber deep into Umbria. The thought of all that was amazing, due to the Hotel significance it will be renovated into an exclusive Luxury 5 star Hotel, will be all Stone like the Monolithic Limestone honed filled sink, but with stone cladding everywhere it will become prohibitively expensive luxury hotel, but for now it's still an excellent Transit hotel... A good 1 hour walk from the airport, especially at night, make a right and follow the river North Bank of the new Canal and you will reach the Hotel... You can't miss it.

The room is quite spacious, but there is little sound isolation, behind the wall was a family with children and they screamed all day. Location is beautiful! 100 meters from the beach, there is a cozy garden. Breakfast is very scarce. For lunch there was a cooked calmar. But in general for such small money is a decent hotel

The bed was very comfortable but the room was dark, musty and smelled damp. Difficult to open the shutters which are high and very dirty to touch. Couldn't leave window open to air room as on ground floor. First impression of room was looking at threads hanging down from the stairs to the bedroom- looked like cobwebs at first - could be easily remedied. No explair in bathroom- not good.

I stayed here the night before using the airport. It was clean and had everything I needed. The breakfast service was great, and the staff member was very kind. The taxi to the hotel cost about 40€ each way, but there was also a local bus. The hotel is easy to find because there's a McDonald's on the first floor. The sea stretches out right in front, and a morning walk there was wonderful. You can also get to central Rome in about an hour by train, so it might be a good option if you can't find an affordable hotel in the city center.

The receptionist is very polite and talented . She care about all the Clients and she is very prepared around the area . Not even at Westin excelsior you receive. Attentions and consideration as from the evening shift receptionist . Hope you treasure her as much as we are pleased with her services . Room is tidy all functions and there is a very good restaurant Calle i conti near by . Good experience

Excellent hotel, we were delighted. Convenient location and the hotel itself is very good.

We used this hotel as a ”long stopover” for 2 nights before flying from Fuimicino. Though the location is a bit isolated but close to the beach. I wish our room (an BATHROOM) had been a bit bigger, though it was clean and with an air con (the main thing in July). No groceries around. There`s a vending machine close to the reception in case you need water or smth. Private parking on site.

I stayed there for 1 night before getting on our cruise. The room was nice and clean, and the front desk staffs were very friendly and helpful. Even they did not have a storge room for our temporary luggage storage, they let us put them in the restaurant (which was closed after breakfast time) which was really helpful.

The room was clean and tidy, the service was warm and thoughtful, parking was available around the square next to the hotel, the terrace was spacious, the electric folding window, the breakfast was rich and nutritious, and there were McDonald's and steak shops around.
