Hotel Beach di Johor, Malaysia

Stayed 1night here for first time. The room was spacious with Seaview, although the building is old,the room is well-maintained and comes with complete toiletries. The swimming pool area is decent,and there's a small garden beside the pool where they planted different types of plant and even labelled them. The only downside is the crows around the main entrance,which can be a bit uncomfortable. Overall, location is good with a satisfying and comfortable staying.

Da location was good n convenient ,n da collection key counter office girl are friendly ,but da unit we stay cleaning was terrible ,alot of ants n da rubbish bin also never clear , even da towels ppl using still hanging inside the toilet 😂 ,n da toilet basin also never clean cos da ppl stay inside toilet colour their hair da paper n colour split unit da whole basin still there when we check in 😅😅

I only stayed for a few hours, no overnight stay, and left the same day. However, due to the check-in policy, I needed to book for two days. The apartment's decor matched the pictures, and the sea view was nice. But I didn't have time to go to the beach. The location was convenient. There were shopping malls and street shops nearby. There were restaurants opposite the sales center. The instructions for getting the keys were very detailed; I was able to get them by following the instructions.

We recently stayed for two nights at the Country Garden Seaview Suite by Nest Home. While the unit was clean and neat, there were several issues that affected our comfort: - The water heater was not working, which made showering inconvenient. - The sofa and cushions were wet upon arrival. Although a cleaner came and attempted to dry them with a hairdryer for about 10 minutes, the sofa remained soggy and had an unpleasant smell. - The room’s location facing a busy traffic junction made it difficult to rest. Noise from ambulances, car horns, and traffic persisted throughout the night, resulting in poor sleep quality. On a positive note, the room itself was tidy and well-maintained, which we appreciated. However, the combination of maintenance issues and noise disturbance significantly impacted the overall experience. We hope these concerns can be addressed to improve future guest stays.

I booked a standard king room for a 3 night stay. Upon arrival to the room, I noticed the floor was wet as though it had just been mopped. To my surprise, I was given 2 queen beds instead and used towels found in the cupboard.There was a stain on bedsheet. I had to place another bath mat to avoid the trip and fall due to the first mat suction being not strong enough. During the stay we were provided with a shower gel and no shampoo. The washing machine does not come with a dryer and you need to search for the detergent which was placed under the kitchen sink. A garment steamer and vacuum cleaner were provided in the room, very convenient .The utensils, pots and pans were displayed on the kitchen table top, it looked cluttered. I suggest that it should be placed in the cabinet provided when not in use. Overall the cleanliness is good. There's room for improvement. Thank you.

To be honest, it felt pretty average, but it was very cheap and close to the Woodlands checkpoint. However, locals told me this area isn't very safe, though there's a security guard downstairs, so outsiders can't get in. The 'hotel' is actually an apartment, and you have to pick up the keys yourself from a designated location – it's fully self-service. There's a durian stall nearby that's cheap and tasty. The hairdryer didn't work well; it couldn't plug into the socket. The hygiene was mediocre; the bedding felt damp and was very wrinkled, almost like it had been used by someone else, sprayed with water, smoothed out, and then given to the next guest. The overall cleanliness was really subpar.

I just love this hotel, even though it's a bit old. It really needs to keep up with other hotels out there. I have a few suggestions, not just for DTBSR but for all hotels to consider, especially beachfront ones. Guests will definitely be swimming and going to the beach, right? So, I suggest providing a clothing rack in the corridor. It would make it easy to dry clothes and prevent guests from hanging them over the railings, which can be an eyesore. Also, adding hooks for towels would be great. For TVs, other hotels are already using smart TVs where guests can watch Netflix. I hope you'll consider this. Otherwise, this hotel is just nice. Thank you.

First time staying at Sands and Sandals resort and I think we would definitely visit again one day! Had a surprise decoration, thank you to the hotel staff for the balloons and cake and the beautiful set-up. Check in and check out was a breeze too, probably as we were not affected by the peak period. Breakfast was good too! Our second morning was more crowded but there were more choices too and it wss delicious. Room was comfortable and everything is provided, like towels, bath essentials, dental essentials. The connection of the tv was also a bit iffy but we didn't mind. Parking was also easy for us and location felt safe. Near to tourist attractions like Adventure Waterpark and Woodfire too! Thank you for the great service!

The apartment was serviced by Lions Bay, the office is near to the apartment. Instructions given to collect key was easy to follow and clear, packing near the office not as easy due to many cars parked along the side walk. The view was awesome. Very home feel. Tv set came with Netflix, great entertainment for the kids!

Good value resorts , you get good spread of breakfast and access to connecting beach, mini bird spot , mini water park to spend a good day. Biggest kudos and truly grateful to water park teams that helped me find my lost glasses at water park after 30min or more of searching , Honest reviews on the minus points 1. Facilities and amenities are not the best condition and design are outdated , aircon in the master room did not function well it was not cold at all so we had to rely on aircon from living (which is super cold) - I didn’t bother to call front desk as it was late when I realized. 2. Second room key stopped functioning in the morning of day we checked out, and still not functioned even after we had activated it at front desk . We waited 20min for maintenance guy to come and open the door for us 3. Lift maintenance without notice On check out day, nearest lift was put in maintenance without notice on each floor. we waited 10min for lift , finally opted to walk down stairs from 3rd floor with all of our luggage , then only we noticed maintenance work on going. 4. Food at Rhu Seafood is …. Below average. Not sure why it gets pretty decent reviews on trip an Google. Tried seafood tomyum, spring onion fish fillet, butter chicken and kangkung belacan , only butter chicken is still decent good. Chrysanthemum tea and Thai milk tea are horrible too..
