Hotel Beach di Madeira, Portugal

This was a very decent and affordable hotel — nothing fancy or luxurious, but it covers the basics quite well. It’s clean, efficient, and does the job for travelers looking for a simple place to stay. One of the best surprises was that if you’re lucky enough to get a room with ocean views, it really adds a lot of value to the overall experience. That said, there were some clear drawbacks. The room itself felt extremely tight, especially for two people with a couple of suitcases. There was very limited space to move around, which made things feel a bit cramped and uncomfortable. The bathroom was also quite small, and while functional, it lacked the comfort you’d hope for in a multi-day stay. One highlight was the balcony. Though the interior space was tight, the room had a good-sized balcony where we enjoyed golden hour and sunset views — that part was genuinely lovely and added a sense of openness and relaxation we didn’t get inside the room. The most significant downside for me was the parking situation. The hotel only has three official parking spots, which are always full. Given the area is busy and surrounded by in-demand places like grocery stores, cafés, restaurants, and a laundromat, street parking is very limited and expensive. I had to park at a nearby garage, which cost 10 euros overnight. As for the rooftop, the amenities there weren’t particularly impressive — nothing that would stand out compared to more upscale hotels. But once again, the ocean and sunset views from the rooftop are stunning and give you a brief illusion of being at a five-star resort. All in all, this hotel offers good value for money, especially if you’re not planning to spend too much time in the room. It’s a solid base for exploring the area, as long as you’re okay with a few compromises in comfort and convenience.

Wonderful experience and the best hotel during our stay in Madeira. Perfect price and value proposition with a staff who are really customers oriented and friendly. Smaller hotel what is never overcrowded. Nice charming design elements. Very good breakfast with selection of local cheeses and meat. Real juice would be the only needed improvement and some pastel de Nata for the breakfast would add to the mandatory Portuguese experience. Otherwise 100% perfect stay. Excellent swimming pool with sea water. Yes. The rooms are somewhat dated but super clean and comfortable. I didn't came here to see golden chandeliers so l was super satistied! Excellent location and direct sea access. What more could one look for??

O Hotel fica mesmo perto da praia, o nosso quarto era muito simpático, com varanda e tudo. Aparentava estar tudo limpo e arrumado. Gostamos muito, recomendamos e vamos voltar.

Отличное расположение, хороший мой бассейн, рядом 2 типа бассейнов с морской водой и выход к океану, чуть подальше в 25 минутах пешком от отеля красивая пещера и длинный песчаный пляж. В отеле все были очень любезны, на день рождения мужа подарили бутылочку шампанского. У нас был панорамный вид из окна, он шикарен, комната 1003. Из недостатков я купила завтраки, но мой муж долго спит и поэтому завтракала только я, я просила персонал взять брекфаст бокс для мужа так как он уже оплачен, но это мне не разрешили сделать, в итоге все завтраки оплаченные мы потеряли, завтраки до 10:00 если ты рано не проснешься то не поешь, имейте это ввиду, в остальном все прекрасно , уборка каждый день

I had an exceptional stay at Hotel Torre Praia. The staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming. The food was delightful, offering a wide range of delicious options that I thoroughly enjoyed. The hotel was exactly as depicted in the photos, conveniently located right by the beach in a stunningly picturesque area. My room was spotless and was refreshed every day, adding to the overall comfort of my experience.

The hotel is old, but everything looks nice and shabby. A lot of stairs to the sea, but also there is elevator. Normal breakfast, a lot of pastry, but for my tasty could be more fresh vegetables, avocado and etc.. Nice, big rooms with cozy doors lile from movie lord of the ring.

O Porto Santo Hotel & Spa é uma escolha excelente para quem procura descanso e tranquilidade. Apesar de ser um hotel modesto, é extremamente confortável e acolhedor. Destaco especialmente a simpatia e disponibilidade do staff, que torna a experiência ainda mais agradável. E o bar de praia? Simplesmente espetacular — perfeito para aproveitar o pôr do sol com uma bebida na mão. Recomendo!

Everything was fantastic, hotel location, services and design of the hotel. I enjoyed the 2 nights there. Unfortunately the welcoming was not good for me as I waited for 3 hours and 20 minutes. Yes I came early before the check in time which is 2 Pm and I came at 11:50 and the front deck staff ( Eduard ) confirm to me that my room will be ready at 2 pm but till 3:10 pm only I got to my room after I esclate my issue to the front deck manager ( Peter ), the problem was not about the time I lost, but the attitude of front deck staff as he is looking to my face multiple times and he didn’t come to say sorry that your room not yet ready just to apologizing…

The suites are located on southern beach ***** of the island, accessible by 2 buses or a taxi from the ferry port. Staff was very friendly, although not always aware of things when we asked some questions, but they did endeavour to find out. The bathroom does not have an exhaust fan, and needs some work and the rooms could do with some fresh paint. But overall very nice and comfortable, clean large outdoor pool, plenty of send beds, and umbrellas and beds directly on the beach with lifeguard on duty. The breakfast was tasty too with plenty of options. Would stay again

Instalações não recentes, em todo o caso muito aceitáveis. O estado do tempo não ajudou, e daí que não pudemos fruir em pleno das infraestruturas ao dispor.
