The hotel is situated on a small strip of beach, and my room looked out at this beautiful view. The bed was comfortable, and the room was okay. The door locking mechanism took some getting used to. Staff are friendly, but it feels they do not have any idea about service. I waited 45 minutes to get signed in, although I was the only customer at that time. The man at reception kept running around and telling me to sit and wait. The food at the restaurant is very, very expensive, and there are much cheaper and better restaurants within walking distance. The hotel has huge potential, but staff need hospitality training urgently to realise this! The hotel was okay for an overnight, and near the airport.

We went to Preskil for our second half of our holidays and stayed 6D5N together with our relatives who stayed in other rooms at the same hotel. We took half board. While amenities and food options were both reasonable quality and varied - we didnt consistently get fruits for dinner. Additionally room service didn’t always refill our daily 2 bottles of water Room itself was generally good with enough power socket, usb sockets too, aircon and a fan. We balcony was facing the seaside - which made our stay pleasant. We could watch the sunrise and also enjoy a cool breeze in the evening

The place is excellent for a trip to / from the airport, it's clean and spacious and does more than what it says on the cover. We spent a night there on our last night there and it was very convenient.

Both double rooms had a lake view, but the standard was very different. The breakfast was good with French bread that appeared to be very fresh. It was nice to be able to sit outside and study the behavior of the small birds. They kept control of the tables before and during breakfast. In the first room the fan didn’t work. It was to slow. Therefore it became unacceptably hot especially, when I was trying to sleep. The shower had been turned off and the bathroom floor became very slippery when it had become wet. We found the town of Mahebourg nice, so we extended our stay by two days. The hotel offered us a new room with a much better standard when we stayed two more days. I appreciated that we now had a fridge and a shower that worked. It was nice with a pool but difficult to get up, when it had rained. After the rain the edge of the pool had become very slippery. I didn't want to slip and hurt myself. I swam in the sea the other days. The beach was very shallow. But watch out! There are a lot of sharp corals. I will give 4 points. (Three points for the first part of the stay and five for the last.)

Loved everything about our stay at the Holiday inn. It was ideal for our stay in between flights. On arrival we received a very warm welcome from Mr Ashwin who gave us an exemplary welcome and great customer service. He was attentive and efficient. The room was spotless clean and well equipped and comfortable. We are looking forward to our next visit. Keep up the good work Holiday Inn staff.

L'hôtel est propre et sympathique, son personnel est souriant et à l'écoute, il n'hésite pas à rendre service. Le petit déjeuner est copieux (oeuf, crêpe, fromage, beurre, confiture, 2 sortes de fruits), il est servi sur une agréable terrasse en rooftop

Nous avons été dans cet établissement, choisit sur Booking car en transit sur Maurice. Idéalement placé près de l’aéroport, le choc avec l’Afrique du Sud encore bien présenté chez nous a été énorme. Mais l’accueil des hôtes est top! D’une gentillesse et d’une volonté de servir exceptionnelles. Certes cela ne fait pas tout! C’est tres rustique et le confort est limité. Mais au demeurant cela nous a parfaitement convenu! Passez votre chemin si vous êtes un adepte des draps blancs frais et souples des grands hôtels. Mais pour une immersion chez l’habitant, c’est parfait!

We waren hier slechts 1 nacht en een halve dag. De eigenaar-familie zijn zeer vriendelijke en buitengewone behulpzame mensen, niet enkel onder woorden maar ook met praktische hulp. De kamers zijn niet wat we in Europa zouden verwachten, het bed is goed en een douche nemen kan perfect. De kamer waar wij verbleven was heel ruim. Het huis is gelegen bij het centrum van de stad, 10 minuten tot aan de Waterfront, de Cavendish-bridge en het historisch museum. De luchthaven is dichtbij. Mensen worden of afgehaald op de luchthaven (extra kost), of, gemakkelijk te bereiken met een huurauto. Opgelet, sommige gps vinden de straat niet, de vroege benaming was Rue de l'Hopital. Zeker aan te raden. Frans, Engels en enkele oosterse talen Wifi werkt goed, ontbijt en parking binnen de afsluiting, inbegrepen
