Location of hotel is excellent next to Gancheng station where our nantou bus from Sun Moon Lake stopped . Room was spacious; toilet has dry & wet separation. Self laundry is available with NT$40 per wash and NT10 per 10min dryer time..Overall a value added hotel. Only disappointment was they asked guest to signed on an agreement to follow their instructions such as no throwing of toilet paper into toilet bowl, NT$200 for extra blanket etc.

Pros: Close to Taoyuan Airport, with a shuttle bus every 30 minutes that gets you to the airport in about 5 minutes. There's an indoor pool, steam sauna, and a well-equipped gym. The breakfast restaurant is spacious, and some rooms offer direct views of the airport, allowing you to watch planes take off and land. Cons: Absolutely no restaurants or convenience stores nearby. The shower area lacks a door, so water easily splashes out. The toilet isn't a bidet, and the room size is a bit small. You can hear some airplane noise from the room, and the breakfast taste is just average.

Strategic location near taiwan railway station and city centre. Room setup is good just furniture a bit outdated. Breakfast provided at level 2. Easy for shopping n food dinning as just next to shopping mall.

This hotel is located in Kenting's Little Bay, just across the road from Little Bay Beach, and the bus stop is also very close by. The hotel's breakfast spread is fantastic, and the seafood buffet for dinner offers great value for money. The best part is that the restaurant has a window overlooking the ocean (Picture 1), adding a wonderful ambiance to dinner. The hotel's garden is a lovely spot to relax (Picture 2). The swimming pool in the garden was under maintenance, so to compensate guests, the hotel organized some fun activities, like a night crab-hunting trip on the beach. We scared all the crabs away, and only a bunch of hermit crabs (Picture 3) stayed to play with us! ☺️

One of the most iconic hotel in Taiwan, especially the Grand Hotel - Taipei, elegant deco all the way from lobby to the room. The Grand Hotel didn't disappoint us, whether the facility, hospitality, entertainment, foods and scenic/view from hotel. Everything was excellent, hotel also have shuttle to nearby MRT station every 30 mins, both driver & staffs were very friendly and helpful. We also did the tour to west gate secret passage, the guide has lot of knowledge about the history and explained the background, history of how the Grand become today's The Grand hotel. We tried two of the restaurants on ground floor next to the lobby, they were both very nice & gave all flavors Taiwan has to offer. We would stay here again next time if we visit again & highly recommend for anyone to try at least once in your lifetime.

I had a pleasant stay at Norway Forest Hotel in Taichung. The location is excellent, just a short walk from Taichung Train Station, which makes traveling around the city very convenient. There are also many restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean with good water pressure. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The hotel also has a playground for children, which is great for families, as well as laundry and drying facilities, very convenient for longer stays. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money and I would recommend it to travelers visiting Taichung.

It's a fuss free hotel. Before coming I had some reservations but honestly it was clean and the bed was comfortable. The TV had good channels. The water pressure was strong, and water temperature setting was sensitive enough to let me get it to the exact temperature I liked. Aircon was also strong. I did not get disturbed by any noise (doors slamming or noisy guests). This hotel may be old but everything works as it should. The check in reception looks like something from a horror movie but don't get fooled by it. The gym is just two cycling machines next to the reception counter so don't expect that. For the price this is actually a fantastic hotel.

The room was clean and seemed newly renovated. They offer free public parking, which worked out great for my plans. Breakfast and coffee in the morning were good enough to start the day. The hotel’s also within walking distance of the night market. The only downside was that my room faced the road, so it was a bit noisy from traffic, and I could hear sounds from the next room.

My overall experience during the stay had its pros and cons. First, let's talk about the downsides. The hotel's elevators are a bit small, and there are only three of them. During peak check-in and check-out times, you really need a lot of patience, as you often have to wait for a while. The room has a split air conditioning unit, but its cooling performance was just average. For someone who gets hot easily, it might not feel cool enough at night, which slightly detracts from the comfort. However! The absolute highlight and most surprising aspect of this stay was definitely the hotel's hot spring ♨️. I happened to visit on a misty day, and soaking in the hot spring while being surrounded by fog created an incredible atmosphere – it was super relaxing and therapeutic. At that moment, I truly felt like I had made the right choice. Because of this amazing hot spring experience, the earlier minor drawbacks were greatly overshadowed. Overall, if your trip to Jiaoxi is primarily for hot springs and relaxation, this place is definitely worth considering. Chose this hotel for its proximity to Taoyuan International Airport, as we had to catch a 8:30am flight back home. The rooms are adequate, with the necessities eg towels, kettle, water, coffee and tea. WIFI are excellent, TV channels sufficient - we have no time to watch much TV anyhow :D Loved the water pressure of the shower. The negative points are: 1) No UBS ports by the bed; 2) there's only space for 1 luggage bag, so I had to use the desk for my other luggage bag. Hotel guests can easily walk to the nearby MRT Station to go to Taipei (quite a long ride) or a shopping mall 3 stations away, which we did. Additional plus point is the hotel packed our breakfast for us to take with us, since we had to leave the hotel before the restaurant opens.
