While centrally located on the island, it's incredibly convenient to reach both beaches. It's just a few minutes' walk from the jetty, and if you arrange it in advance, they'll provide a pick-up service. On the nearby beaches, you can have amazing close encounters with stingrays and nurse sharks. The guesthouse is spotlessly clean, and guests are asked to leave their shoes downstairs. The Wi-Fi signal in the rooms was also excellent. Our booking included full board (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). The food they served was delicious; while the variety wasn't huge, the portions were always generous. The service from front desk staff Shariq and restaurant attendant Susmita was truly exceptional. I wholeheartedly recommend Madi Grand Maldives. For excursions, book directly with Shariq; the small group sizes mean you'll have a much more fulfilling experience.

I had dreamt of staying at this hotel for a very long time; I had already noticed it thanks to its excellent reviews. The main goal was to see the shark feeding. Nowhere else in the Maldives will you find such a huge number of tamed sharks! It's an unforgettable spectacle. Before this, we stayed at another resort, so I have something to compare it with. Although this hotel isn't a resort, it can boldly compete. Everything here is thought out to the smallest detail, with great taste and a huge variety. Everything is so beautifully arranged and organized! The level of service and attention to detail are felt at every turn—from impeccable aesthetics to incredible care for guests. Almost every evening, the hotel hosts some kind of show, like local dances. I was especially touched by the personal touch: we were greeted with a drink and sent off with a luxurious seafood platter and pleasant gifts. It's immediately clear that the owner genuinely loves their creation and puts their heart into every little detail. It's precisely this energy and service that make a vacation truly special. I sincerely thank you for this incredible experience! I wholeheartedly recommend it ❤️

The hotel room was clean and tidy, and the staff provided meticulous and attentive service. The hotel's pier transfer arrangements were thoughtful and hassle-free. The food at the all-inclusive restaurant was outstanding, making for a great dining experience. The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic, recommending and arranging snorkeling trips to see sharks, turtles, and coral, as well as sunset fishing excursions. The hotel also thoughtfully provided small boats and paddleboards for water activities on the beach next to the restaurant. For sunset fishing, we used handlines, and the crew helped guide us and allowed us to experience the thrill of catching fish, which was an amazing feeling! After coming ashore, they even kindly processed the fish we selected for us to enjoy with dinner 😋. The entire trip with Fulidhoo was relaxed and enjoyable, and my stay at this hotel was particularly delightful!

We were picked up at the Velana airport after an overnight stay at the local island, with transfer fee of $40 USD per person to take the speedboat to Fulidhoo, where Kinan Retreat is at. After alighting from the jetty at Fulidhoo, it's a short 5 mins walk to the Retreat. Welcome drinks and hot hand towels were offered. We missed the morning excursion trip but decided to go for it the next day. The room provided can have an extra bed for $15 USD. Fulidhoo is a small local island but it's the favorite hangout for stingrays and nurse sharks. You will be able to spot these lovely creatures around the shore, especially near evening time when there are people who start feeding them. You will be able to get up close and even touch them, but with caution. We went on an evening fishing trip that cost $45 USD per person, inclusive of a BBQ dinner for the dishes that were caught. On the next day before leaving for our resort island stay, we took the excursion trip to see dolphins, snorkeling with nurse sharks at SharkPoint and went turtle spotting, all these for $40 USD per person. Underwater videos were captured and shared by WhatsApp. Great service by the counter lady Shahidah. I will recommend this Retreat to visitors, and you will not be disappointed with the time spent on the island.

Room: Very spacious. The master bathroom has a separate shower and a bathtub, which is very comfortable. The bed on the second floor faces the sea directly, offering an open view. The sofa bed on the first floor is also of good quality, perfect for kids. We didn't use the pool much, preferring to go directly into the sea to play. Island environment: Simple and beautiful, with lots of pretty fish. Dining: The main restaurant serves good food, and the menu changes daily. You can also pay extra to dine at a smaller, more refined restaurant with fewer people. Activities: The three-point snorkeling (sharks, dolphins, turtles) and sunset fishing were both excellent. The guides were very professional and took great care of every guest. You can borrow masks and fins to snorkel independently at the hotel, and there are many beautiful fish to see. Service: Very warm and attentive.

We moved from the beach villa to our overwater jacuzzi water villa with ease Upon reaching the room, we loved the view where you'll be able to see sunrise on the left side and the sunset on the right of it. Tried out the jacuzzi pool, swam around our overwater villa throughout the afternoon. We brought bread from the meals and fed the fishes that were always around the villa. During low tide, you could even stand in the water under the overwater villa with fishes swimming around you, all the time. Once in a while, you may see a solo nurse shark swim nearby. The pictures taken are so Instagram-able . Really enjoyed our stay at this resort. After meals, will play at the pool table, air hockey, play darts and table futsal. My son also paid a visit to the gym. There is an Ameera Spa just behind the main dining hall.

The island selection was very successful. In addition to the speedboat being a little far away (acceptable for more than an hour), there is also a seaplane option. The service response, accommodation hardware and snorkeling environment are all great. There are no mosquitoes on the island, and the water houses are even more comfortable and great. The sun set water house is closer to the trench and more suitable for snorkeling. The other water houses have more beautiful sea water colors, and the sand houses look very good. There is not much publicity, and even if the occupancy rate is relatively high, it is still very quiet. The island is not too big or too small, and it is not very tiring to walk and the sea water is beautiful. It is not hot for several days. Everything feels great. The breakfast can be changed more every day! I will come again in the future! The atmosphere of the water house is also good at night, not scary at all

We noticed an unpleasant odor in the reception area upon arrival. Additionally, there were items such as fish and boiled spaghetti left at the front desk, which gave an untidy impression. Overall, the reception area and guest house did not appear to meet expected standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

It was an amazing stay. Sotte was really nice and considerate, took us to to turtles and nurse sharks and arranged speedboat for pick up. It was absolutely wonderful experience, hotel room is comfy and spacious, food was nice as well. 10/10

По прибытии нас встретил сотрудник отеля и помог донести наши чемоданы до номера. В отеле нам дали приветственный напиток и холодные полотенца. В номере все показали и рассказали и проводили нас на пляж. В номере было чисто и у нас уборка была каждый день. Завтраки и ужины у нас были в формате шведского стола, но еда очень вкусная. На пляже плавали с маской и трубкой и видели много красивых рыбок, а на берегу крабиков. При выселении помогли организовать трансфер до следующего острова.
