👉 极乐寺 (Kek Lok Si Temple)
槟城最代表性的佛教寺庙之一，也是很多第一次来槟城的人一定会打卡的地方🙏 整个寺庙范围很大，从山脚一路往上走，可以看到不同建筑风格的佛塔、观音像，还有很有特色的中式+泰式融合设计。最推荐的时间是傍晚到晚上，因为灯亮起来之后整个寺庙会变得很梦幻✨，尤其是大观音像附近，真的有一种很震撼的感觉。如果你喜欢拍照或想感受比较安静的氛围，这里很值得慢慢走一圈。
👉 槟城壁画街
来槟城一定要来的经典打卡点😂 George Town 的壁画街真的很有趣，它不是那种“看一眼就走”的景点，而是要慢慢走、慢慢找，每一幅墙画都藏在不同巷子里。有些壁画是互动式的，比如你可以骑脚踏车、坐椅子一起拍照，很适合拍 IG 照片📸 整个老城区也很有味道，有咖啡馆、小店、老建筑混在一起，边走边逛完全不会无聊。

如果你想看槟城全景，这里一定不能错过🌄 可以搭缆车上山，路程不会太久，但一上去整个感觉就不一样了，空气比较凉，也很舒服。山顶可以看到整片 George Town、海岸线，还有远处的桥和城市建筑，天气好的时候真的很壮观。建议傍晚来，因为可以一次看到白天景 + 日落 + 夜景，完全不浪费时间👍
👉 姓氏桥
姓氏桥是槟城很有历史感的地方，也是很多人第一次看到都会觉得很特别的景点🏠 这里是建在海上的木屋村，一整排房子延伸到海面上，走在木桥上会有种“走进老槟城”的感觉。里面还有一些小店、纪念品摊位，可以慢慢逛，也可以了解早期华人移民的生活方式。黄昏的时候光线很柔和，拍照会特别好看，很有怀旧电影感📷
👉 Batu Ferringhi 海滩
Batu Ferringhi Beach 是槟城最有名的海边度假区之一🌊 白天可以看到长长的海岸线，有人玩水上活动、骑马、或只是躺着晒太阳。晚上这里会变成夜市区，有很多小吃、纪念品、还有一些街头表演，很热闹但不会太吵。如果你喜欢轻松一点的行程，这里很适合安排一个下午+晚上慢慢 chill。
👉 槟城 Escape Theme Park
如果你是喜欢玩刺激、户外活动的人，这里会很适合你🎢 整个乐园是走“自然+冒险”路线，有滑水道、树上活动、攀爬、zipline 等等，比一般主题乐园更偏户外体验。最有名的是他们的超长滑水道，很多人来都是专门为了这个🤣 建议穿轻便衣服来，因为你真的会玩到全身湿+很累，但也很好玩。
👉 水上清真寺 (Floating Mosque)
Tanjung Bungah Floating Mosque 是一个很特别的景点，因为它建在海边，涨潮的时候看起来真的像漂浮在水面上一样🌊 清真寺本身设计很现代，也融合了中东风格建筑，白色外观在阳光下特别显眼。不只是宗教场所，也很适合拍照打卡，尤其是傍晚光线柔和的时候，很有宁静感。

🚗 槟城交通
在槟城其实交通算是不复杂，但有一点点要注意塞车问题😆 最常用、也是最推荐的方式就是 Grab 🚕 基本上你在市区、景点之间移动，用 Grab 都很方便，而且价格也不会太夸张。对于第一次来的人来说，真的最省心，不用自己找路或烦停车。
如果你是喜欢自由一点的玩法，也可以选择自驾 🚗 好处是想去哪就去哪，但要注意槟城市区（尤其 George Town 一带）停车位比较难找，有时候还要绕几圈才找到位置。
至于巴士 🚌，虽然有覆盖一些主要景点，但班次比较慢，而且不太适合赶行程的人，所以一般比较少游客会优先选择。

My stay at The Prestige Hotel in Penang was, overall, a fantastic experience.
The hotel's architecture is truly distinctive and beautiful, making it a great spot for photos. The rooftop pool area is also wonderful, especially at sunrise and sunset. Relaxing by the pool and enjoying the views at these times is incredibly pleasant.
The rooms are elegantly designed and exquisitely decorated. A great touch is that each room comes with a drinking water filter, providing access to safe drinking water at any time, which is very convenient and environmentally friendly.
Another thoughtful detail is that all the drinks in the mini-fridge are complimentary – you can enjoy them freely.

I had an excellent stay at G Hotel Gurney in the Executive Suite. The suite was spacious, modern, and beautifully maintained, with a comfortable bed and a great view. It was the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring Penang.
The hotel’s location is fantastic, right next to Gurney Plaza and within walking distance of many popular eateries. The staff were professional, friendly, and always willing to assist, making the entire stay even more enjoyable.
The Executive Lounge was a great addition, offering a quiet and comfortable space to unwind with complimentary refreshments. Breakfast was also excellent, with a wide selection of local and international dishes.

This is one of the best places I have stayed in SE Asia! The shophouses are cute and spacious (we stayed in Indian Shophouse and our parents stayed in another king’s size bedroom), the aesthetics inside the room and especially in the lobby/ afternoon tea area/ breakfast cafe is incredible and nostalgic. Great services from the staff and so friendly that you feel you are being taken good care of. Also got the cutest cats too! Strictly speaking, it's just a villa converted into a hotel. Although it boasts over 100 years of history, century-old buildings are common throughout the city. The hotel's location is a bit out of the way. Compared to other hotels I've recently stayed at, like Dongjia and George Hotel, this one is flanked by residential buildings on both sides, and there are plans to build more behind it. It feels like it's being surrounded by tall buildings, which really takes away from the experience.
Furthermore, the windows aren't very soundproof, and it's really close to the road, making it quite noisy during the day. It truly bears no resemblance to a manor. There were also a lot of mosquitoes; we didn't even open the windows, yet somehow had four or five mosquitoes in the room overnight. The room decor is decent, but honestly, many hotels in China can achieve this level of design. Also, this hotel doesn't have a gym. During check-in, the manager (I couldn't tell if they were Indian or Malaysian) had a very strong accent, and I really struggled to understand every word they said. The bar also offered two complimentary drinks in the evening, but they were very simple and tasted mediocre. If you're going to offer free drinks, do it properly, or don't offer them at all.
The room's mini-bar was okay, and the complimentary snacks made the kids happy. The toiletries were Bvlgari. Breakfast was served in the hotel's ground-floor restaurant, which supposedly has been recognized by Michelin for two consecutive years. However, the breakfast was quite perfunctory. The apples and melon served were completely unsweetened and very stale; they clearly looked pre-cut, frozen for a long time, discolored, and had a terrible texture. When I ordered English breakfast tea, I wasn't asked if I wanted milk. The pepper in the pepper shaker wouldn't come out because the grains were too large. A salmon bagel was decent. Overall, the breakfast portions were average, and the taste was just so-so. After checking out, we immediately went to another restaurant to eat again.
All in all, this hotel's price was not cheap compared to other hotels on this trip, but the overall experience was just average. Of course, there were some positives, such as every staff member being very enthusiastic. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, which I really appreciate.DariPHP 14,502

Our group stayed for two nights and was generally satisfied.
**Ambiance:** Elegant and comfortable style. The bedding was cozy, and there were many restaurants nearby.

The room was very spacious and appeared to be recently renovated. The location is convenient, and there is plenty of parking available.
However, I was quite disappointed with the cleanliness. I had specifically requested a clean room as I am sensitive to dust and easily develop allergies. Unfortunately, there were hairs underneath the pillow, stains on the towels, and even ants inside one of the cups provided. The floor was also noticeably dusty with hairs in several areas.
That said, the staff were friendly and responsive. When I requested a change of bedsheets and pillowcases, they attended to it very quickly and were helpful throughout. I hope the hotel can improve its housekeeping standards, as the room itself has great potential.DariPHP 2,689

Location is very convenient as it is in the old town of George Town, can walk to many restaurants and a big supermarket in MAGA.
But the equipment and design of guest room are so terrible: ventilation in bathroom is removed, just left an empty, outside ”shell”...you can't get any air flow in its bathroom. And there is a connecting door between our room and the neighboring one, which resulted in very poor insulation. A south asian family was so noisy and aloud at a late night (kids' screaming, slamming the connecting door, etc.), so l have to knock out their door to let me be quite.
Another minor point is the cleaner forgot to replenish toilet paper for a day and disposable slippers for a day.
Anyway, the staff of Sunway Hotel are nice and friendly, esp. the security staff, who are very polite and helpful at loading/unloading luggage from taxi.

This is my third trip to Kuala Lumpur, and my second stay at Traders. I chose it again based on the fantastic experience I had the first time, from the service to the location and the dining options. However, this time was a bit disappointing. The renovated bathroom had endless issues; the soap dish in the shower area became a stagnant water trap (and wasn't addressed during cleaning the next day). I even found an employee's business card in the bathtub, so I could only reassure myself that at least it gets cleaned daily. We stayed here as a couple, and from the moment we stepped into the grand hall, the design truly impressed us — elegant and stunning.

• Room door noise: The door made noticeable sounds when opening/closing. Even when neighbors used their doors, we could hear it clearly from inside our room.
• Teh Tarik 3-in-1: Unfortunately, the sachet provided seemed expired. After drinking half, I felt unwell and vomited. This should be checked regularly to avoid unpleasant experiences for guests.

Overall, it's pretty good and offers good value for money.
Transportation: You can take a taxi to the Old Town or walk for 20 minutes. The hotel's area is relatively quiet and tidy. As an aside, I struggled with the accommodation area for a long time before my trip. I'm fine with the OZO area, but if I were to go again, I personally would prefer the Gurney Bay area. The atmosphere and cleanliness are much better there. Many parts of the Old Town are too old and chaotic.
Cleanliness was satisfactory, even exceeding expectations. For service, I didn't encounter any Mandarin-speaking staff, but everyone was very friendly.
Facilities: The rooftop pool has an excellent view directly facing the sea. It was wonderful to relax there every day. The breakfast restaurant also has a good view, and while the variety isn't huge, it's sufficient. In-room facilities are standard for a business hotel. I actually found it very convenient to get water from the water dispenser on my floor.
There are two downsides: 1. The towels are very old and should be replaced; I used my own the entire time. 2. For some unknown reason, the Wi-Fi was extremely poor during my stay. My World Cup viewing corner's internet TV was almost unusable due to buffering. For tourists, poor internet is a significant issue.DariPHP 3,644

It's clear this hotel was once a grand establishment, but it's lost its former glory, as the renovation probably dates back to the 90s. The doormen at the entrance were a pleasant surprise; since there's quite a steep staircase leading into the hotel, someone to help is super helpful (they helped me carry my suitcase up and then down when I checked out). I had a room on the 17th floor with two single beds. If you're tall, your feet might hang off the beds; I'm 163 cm and even I felt they were a bit short. The room is cleaned daily – even though I didn't use the toiletries (shower gel, shampoo, lotion, toothbrushes), they conscientiously replenished them every time after cleaning. They provide two bottles of water per day, but I didn't see a water cooler. There's a hairdryer, fridge, safe, and wardrobe. The pool on the 8th floor seemed a bit small to me, but you can still swim. Towels are provided there, and next to it, there's even a small gym with a treadmill. The buffet-style cafe on the 1st floor doesn't have any meat, but there are fruits, lots of local pasta dishes, pastries, juices, coffee, and tea – you definitely won't go hungry if you order breakfast. The hotel's location is excellent. It's within walking distance to the Queen Victoria Memorial Clock Tower, City Hall, and the waterfront. You can also walk to the tourist area's mural streets and the Peranakan Museum.
The cleanliness and service are both above average. Although the breakfast offers a good variety, the taste is just okay, but it was still the most palatable among the three hotels I stayed at this trip. They offer congee and pickled vegetables.
The hotel provides large umbrellas for guests to borrow. However, it's really not necessary as rain in Penang usually comes in short bursts, so there's no need for such a big umbrella.
The room is old, and the bathroom leaks, as shown in the picture.
I wouldn't recommend booking breakfast at any hotel in Malaysia. Breakfast at local restaurants is much cheaper and tastier. The only thing you'll need to worry about in Penang is your appetite being too small!DariPHP 3,469

Such a relaxing stay at Penang and this hotel. Super awesome location. Very central. There’s a food street just around the corner across the street. Walking distance to major attractions. The housekeeping staff was super friendly! I left something really small when I checked out I came back and asked for it and the housekeeping staff went through the whole room (including garbage) to help me find it. Really appreciate that! I had a wonderful stay at Nio Hotel. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to assist whenever needed.

The coffee wasn’t for us, but luckily Penang has plenty of good cafés nearby. The room was decent and had everything we needed. The only thing that let it down was the bathroom. There was a bad smell for all four nights, even after housekeeping, and the yellow grout and toilet stains made it feel a bit neglected. The hotel's location is really convenient. Hongyuan offers plenty of dining options and live performances, which are quite good. Even though it's a food street, the hygiene is perfectly fine.
A few days ago, I even saw a spectacular fireworks show right from my room.
It's also very close to Zhangyuan, and nearby Hongmao Road used to be the first affluent street.

This hotel is an excellent introduction to Penang as it was for me on my first day in town exploring and getting to know the main city area. Close to downtown center the hotel provides an ideal location for explorers who want to be close to all the major sites Penang has to offer. In the immediate area is George Town with venues including the Clan Jetties, UNESCO heritage sites, Armenian Street and a vast array of street art all worth stopping to visit.
The hotel itself is clean and tidy with helpful and friendly staff who went out of their way to help accommodate me upon my early arrival (holding my luggage until check in time). The room was comfortable and for amenities there was an onsite laundry room that helped ensured traveler like me had the opportunity to refresh their baggage for the next adventures ahead.
As a heads up to future travelers: the hotel is located near some stunning mosques that although were great to visit, do have prayer sessions throughout the day and night which all hotel travelers can clearly hear in their rooms. Not recommended for light sleepers or anyone who minds the sound. Overall the hotel was a great place to start my Penang stay and exploration.DariPHP 1,891

This loft in the city center is relatively decent. It's perfectly located for all the attractions. The airport bus stop is just a 10-minute walk from the hotel. There are two large shopping malls nearby. A big thank you to the staff for letting us check in early. The bed linen was soft and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Shampoo and shower gel were provided for free. There's a water cooler (hot/cold) on the floor. The fridge worked great, and there was also a kettle and toaster in the room.
As for the downsides: The cleanliness of the room was so-so – dusty, with a somewhat worn-out renovation, and some noticeable dirt stains in places. The shower only had lukewarm water. There were no face towels. One of the bath towels had a stain. There were ants running around near the fridge, seemingly knowing where the food was, so make sure to put all your food straight into the fridge. I left a biscuit on the table and ants swarmed it. There are no double-glazed windows, and since our room faced the street, we could hear passing cars perfectly. It's tolerable for a night or two, but not for any longer.DariPHP 1,303

人会明显多很多，餐厅、景点都可能要排队，如果可以的话，平日来体验会更 chill 一点
✔ 记得留时间给美食
槟城不只是看景点而已，美食才是重点🍜，很多隐藏小店是要慢慢走才会发现的，所以行程不要排太满
