其实讲到泰国餐，不用飞去泰国，在马来西亚也很容易找到不错的选择👍 尤其是 KL 和 Penang，这两个地方可以说是泰国餐的“重灾区”🤣，选择多到你会纠结要吃哪一间。虽然跟在泰国街头吃的那种感觉还是有点不一样，但有些餐厅的味道真的做得蛮接近，酸辣香料该有的都有🔥

I first heard about Maya Hotel through TikTok, and I’m so glad I decided to give it a try! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the beautiful atmosphere and the overall experience.
The hotel is in a great location, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were also friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
I stayed here with my daughter, and we both had a wonderful time. The hotel has a relaxing and elegant feel, while still being convenient for exploring Kuala Lumpur. Sometimes you see recommendations on TikTok and wonder if the place is really worth it — in this case, it definitely was!

A beautiful hotel but a mediocre experience. Maybe the hotel could consider changing the ceiling light bulbs in the room to brighter ones and there are not enough of them. The TV was malfunction but I did not make any report because I only stayed for one night. However, shouldn't the responsible party check the TV first before ”opening” the room to guests? The air conditioner also took a very, very long time to cool even though it was set to the lowest temperature from the moment I got into the room. The shower water on the other hand, I had to wait a long time to get hot even though it was turned to the left (for hot water). However, the breakfast buffet was delicious and varied. Our stay at The Face Suites Kuala Lumpur was truly one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the friendly staff. The suite was spacious, clean, and perfect for our family, with breathtaking views of the city that we enjoyed every day.
My son especially loved the infinity pool, and it was such a joy creating special family memories together. After a full day of exploring Kuala Lumpur, coming back to a comfortable and peaceful room made all the difference.

Everything about it was fantastic. Greag location in Bukit Bintang but still away from the hustle and bustle of the Pavilion area. Near convenient places like Sungei Wang which have good money Changers and cheap shopping. Alot of solid vegetarian options nearby like Blue Boy and Kusa. Grab comes quickly when booked. You can access Pavilion from the neighboring hotel via a skybridge. There's another skybridge that takes you towards the Petronas Towers. The hotel is very clean, and the staff are professional. I highly recommend it. My only minor concern is the lack of sofas in the lobby, making it difficult to relax a bit while waiting for check-in or after check-out. From arrival till our departure was awesome, upon arrival, we given a 1 bedroom suite on the top 30th floor as we had requested for quite corner room, the Malay gentleman and the lady at reception were so warm.and welcoming with pleasant smiles, it just made our arrival brighter after a tired journey , we were surprised with a birthday cake since it was my partner's bday which was very thoughtful of them.
Everything was good and awesome till the day we departed . We were greeted again with the Malay gentleman for our pleasant journey back , ”apologies that I didn't get his name”
The only small opinion I would like to share is , it will be great if they upgrade the TVs in the rooms so we can log into our netflix and other networks for leasiure.
Other than this , it was a wonderful 4 nights stay at ParkRoyal residences.

When it comes to dining, there is absolutely no need to worry at all, even if you’re not a particularly picky eater. The area surrounding hotel is teeming with a diverse array of food stores, local eateries and cozy restaurants, offering an extensive selection of delicious cuisines to suit all tastes, you’ll find plenty of wonderful dining options just a short walk away.
Overall my stay at Pacific Express Hotel Central Market was perfect.(except the water heater is not function well, water flow hot for a while then cold again rm8521), other than that the room is spacious, with small refrigerator, nothing to compare with such nice room and reasonable price.
The unrivaled location, convenient dining choices combine to create a truly wonderful living experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kuala Lumpur, and I will definitely choose to stay here again.

It takes about an hour to get from the airport to the hotel, so make sure to factor that into your airport check-in plans. For domestic flights within Malaysia, allow at least an hour to get to the airport, and it's best to have your boarding pass ready beforehand. If you're flying internationally, you should really set aside 2-3 hours. The South and North hotels are very close, so don't panic if you accidentally get the wrong one on your GPS. The hotel's service is excellent; if you fly to another destination and then return, they'll store your luggage for free, which helps save on baggage fees.
The cleanliness in the rooms could be improved. For example, there were small spots on the bedsheets, and the phone and its cord clearly hadn't been wiped down. In the first room, the sink was broken, but after moving to a different room, everything was fine. It's good value for money and perfectly acceptable for guests who aren't super picky. The breakfast was decent, and there was a discount for booking it with your stay; adding it on the next day costs an extra 10 RM. There aren't many breakfast options nearby, so I think it's worth getting the hotel breakfast if you're too lazy to taxi out to find food. The hotel is close to various attractions, and taxis are readily available and can drop you off right at the front desk.
The one recurring annoyance for me was the elevator. The elevator logic is flawed, and I often had to wait a very long time. I suggest they review and fix the elevator system. Sometimes, it wouldn't even stop on my floor even if it was on its way (a 'convenient' stop). The elevators don't seem to be linked, which really detracts from the experience. Location: Excellent—just across the road from Kampung Baru food area, very convenient for foodies.
Check-in: Allowed early check-in at 1:30 PM despite 3 PM standard time due to room availability. Much appreciated.
Staff: Special mention to the staff member resembling celebrity singer Hafiz—excellent service, kept everything smooth and entertaining. Kudos.

Major issue: Strong sewage smell in bathroom—disturbing and needs immediate attention
Toiletries: Initially not refilled—no lotion, body wash in my room; no shower gel or conditioner in dad's room. Staff replaced with hand-packed amenities. Appreciated the gesture.
Food & Dining:
Breakfast buffet: RM37.10—excellent value; surprisingly good nasi goreng (first time I enjoyed it)
In-room dining: Nasi Goreng Tamu was good, but sambal prawn was too sweet
Hotel breakfast preferred over outside options—area dominated by nasi padang, which isn't to our taste

Had a really enjoyable stay here! Everything was well prepared from the moment we arrived. Check-in was quick and hassle-free, the reception staff were friendly, and the room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The water pressure was great, and having free parking was definitely a bonus.
The biggest plus is the location. There’s a covered walkway connecting to the mall, and it’s only a short walk to Zepp Kuala Lumpur, which made it super convenient for attending a concert without worrying about traffic or parking.

I had a wonderful time at Stripes Hotel. The staff were very helpful ! when I arrived without cash for a taxi, the reception desk attendant kindly assisted me, which I really appreciated.

We stayed here for 5 nights with our children. The room itself was comfortable, and the beds, furniture, and washing machine were all in very good condition. The washing machine worked perfectly, which was especially helpful for a family with kids.
However, there were some issues that affected our stay. We found many cockroaches, lizards, and other insects in the room, which was very disappointing. The room was also not cleaned regularly, and we often had to wait a long time before housekeeping came.
The kitchen was functional, but the cooking area was quite small, and the cooking pots and pans provided were too small for preparing family meals.
Overall, the room has good facilities and comfortable furniture, but the cleanliness, pest control, and housekeeping service need significant improvement. If these issues are addressed, it could be a much better place for families.DariSEK 338

I booked the forest room cozy and suitable for 1 night. If you could improve to clean the windows even though have the flora outside the scenery will bo pretty. Booked the crashpad for 2 nights. It was a decent stay. Room was small but enough for a solo traveller but it definitely needed maintenance, especially the wooden platform & aircond. The aircond is noisy & the filter needs cleaning notification keep popping up. You need to ask for the dental kit or kettle at the counter if you need one & there was no tissues in the room. The room was very spacious, likely an apartment converted into a hotel. Not only was there a large bed, but also a separate walk-in closet and a kitchen.
The window offered a partial sea view, and the bathroom was huge with a separate wet and dry area.

My stay here was very satisfying. The hotel's location is excellent, close to all the attractions in the Old Town, making dining and shopping very convenient. I stayed in the Heritage Wing, which has historical artifacts on display in the common areas, perfect for a quick browse if you're interested. The staff were friendly and responsive, providing daily newspapers and updating the mini-bar. I chose this hotel after checking its design and guest reviews on Ctrip. First off, its location is super convenient for visiting many of Penang's attractions and trying local food. However, I didn't give the environment 5 stars because, unfortunately, during my entire 4-day, 3-night stay, there was street construction happening around the hotel. This made things a bit inconvenient and really affected the hotel's overall appearance! But the hotel's service definitely deserves praise. The housekeeping staff who cleaned our room daily was very diligent. A few times, we returned to the hotel while he was cleaning, and he politely stepped aside, waiting nearby until we left again! Also, a big shout-out to the F&B Manager, Eva Hoe. She provided exceptional service during both our breakfast experiences, enthusiastically recommending freshly prepared items that weren't on the buffet. She's also very pretty and speaks fluent Chinese, which is a definite 5-star point! I had an excellent stay at G Hotel Gurney in the Executive Suite. The suite was spacious, modern, and beautifully maintained, with a comfortable bed and a great view. It was the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring Penang.
The hotel’s location is fantastic, right next to Gurney Plaza and within walking distance of many popular eateries. The staff were professional, friendly, and always willing to assist, making the entire stay even more enjoyable.
The Executive Lounge was a great addition, offering a quiet and comfortable space to unwind with complimentary refreshments. Breakfast was also excellent, with a wide selection of local and international dishes.

This is one of the best places I have stayed in SE Asia! The shophouses are cute and spacious (we stayed in Indian Shophouse and our parents stayed in another king’s size bedroom), the aesthetics inside the room and especially in the lobby/ afternoon tea area/ breakfast cafe is incredible and nostalgic. Strictly speaking, it's just a villa converted into a hotel. Although it boasts over 100 years of history, century-old buildings are common throughout the city. The hotel's location is a bit out of the way. Compared to other hotels I've recently stayed at, like Dongjia and George Hotel, this one is flanked by residential buildings on both sides, and there are plans to build more behind it. It feels like it's being surrounded by tall buildings, which really takes away from the experience.
Furthermore, the windows aren't very soundproof, and it's really close to the road, making it quite noisy during the day. It truly bears no resemblance to a manor. There were also a lot of mosquitoes; we didn't even open the windows, yet somehow had four or five mosquitoes in the room overnight. The room decor is decent, but honestly, many hotels in China can achieve this level of design. Also, this hotel doesn't have a gym. During check-in, the manager (I couldn't tell if they were Indian or Malaysian) had a very strong accent, and I really struggled to understand every word they said. The bar also offered two complimentary drinks in the evening, but they were very simple and tasted mediocre. If you're going to offer free drinks, do it properly, or don't offer them at all.
The room's mini-bar was okay, and the complimentary snacks made the kids happy. The toiletries were Bvlgari. Breakfast was served in the hotel's ground-floor restaurant, which supposedly has been recognized by Michelin for two consecutive years. However, the breakfast was quite perfunctory. The apples and melon served were completely unsweetened and very stale; they clearly looked pre-cut, frozen for a long time, discolored, and had a terrible texture. When I ordered English breakfast tea, I wasn't asked if I wanted milk. The pepper in the pepper shaker wouldn't come out because the grains were too large. A salmon bagel was decent. Overall, the breakfast portions were average, and the taste was just so-so. After checking out, we immediately went to another restaurant to eat again.
All in all, this hotel's price was not cheap compared to other hotels on this trip, but the overall experience was just average. Of course, there were some positives, such as every staff member being very enthusiastic. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, which I really appreciate.DariSEK 2,235

I deliberated for a long time before choosing this hotel, but I love old architecture too much, so I decided to stay. I even paid extra to upgrade to a room with a balcony. Now, let me list the serious downsides:
1. There was still a very strong paint smell.
2. The service speed, typical of Southeast Asia, was slow.
3. The pool was dirty with bugs and fallen leaves; I wouldn't dare get in.
4. One evening, the pump for the shower gel wouldn't push down or pull off, so I had to ask the front desk for help. They sent two Indian male security guards to try and fix it for me 😅.
5. On the last day, we returned to find the cleaning staff had left a rag in our room.
6. The hotel room description said it came with a coffee machine, but there wasn't one at all.

Lovely clean room with air conditioning and proper shower. They also provide you with some bottled water and there was a fridge which is very handy for keeping your drinks cold. In the bathroom, Hand gel, shower gel and shampoo all provided as well.
The hotel is very well situated in Georgetown and you can easily walk to all of the key attractions - such as the Clan Jetties and some of the famous mansions here, as well as going around and seeing the street art.
There’s also a lot of cafes and restaurants nearby which are nice - and the art shop and cafe Journal is just down the street, which is a great place to pop into while exploring the town.
I had the breakfast while staying here and it was very nice - each day they have a rice and noodle dish and you can ask for eggs or an omelette. There was also salad and fruit plus steamed buns and corn pudding - so lots of variety.
One issue to note was noise - the rooms are not the most sound proof, so I could occasionally hear people in the corridor or even one person snoring during the nighttime, which did make sleeping a bit harder.DariSEK 273

The best part about booking this room was definitely the location. We could walk to most of George Town's attractions, and there were plenty of food, drink, and entertainment options nearby. The room's view was the absolute highlight – floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows on a high floor. During the day, you could watch the clouds drift by, and at night, see the city lights twinkling, making for some amazing photos. As for cleanliness, I couldn't find a single fault. This hotel is an excellent introduction to Penang as it was for me on my first day in town exploring and getting to know the main city area. Close to downtown center the hotel provides an ideal location for explorers who want to be close to all the major sites Penang has to offer. In the immediate area is George Town with venues including the Clan Jetties, UNESCO heritage sites, Armenian Street and a vast array of street art all worth stopping to visit.
The hotel itself is clean and tidy with helpful and friendly staff who went out of their way to help accommodate me upon my early arrival (holding my luggage until check in time). The room was comfortable and for amenities there was an onsite laundry room that helped ensured traveler like me had the opportunity to refresh their baggage for the next adventures ahead.
As a heads up to future travelers: the hotel is located near some stunning mosques that although were great to visit, do have prayer sessions throughout the day and night which all hotel travelers can clearly hear in their rooms. I had a mixed but overall pleasant stay at Chulia Heritage. The room itself was clean and looked like it was newly renovated, though the amenities provided are very basic. One thing that could be improved in the bathroom is adding a shower door or curtain—currently, water gets everywhere and it doesn't separate the toilet and sink area well.
The biggest challenge was the reception area, which has no AC. Standing out there for more than 10 minutes in the hot, humid weather was really tough. I truly hope the owner considers installing a ceiling fan or even some proper portable cooling fans around the reception desk to make it comfortable for guests checking in and out.
