去泰国真的很容易“失控”😂 不是在吃，就是在去吃的路上，甚至有时候一天可以吃五六餐都不夸张🤣 早上想吃路边粿条，中午想来一碗Tom Yum，下午又被奶茶和芒果糯米饭吸引，晚上再冲夜市烧烤，完全没有在控制！😂 泰国的食物就是有一种魔力，明明你只是想“随便吃一点”，结果每一餐都变成认真在吃🔥所以这份清单就是我自己在泰国一路吃下来之后整理的👇

这个真的不用多说，泰国的灵魂之一🔥 一上桌那个酸辣香气直接冲出来，超开胃。我每次喝第一口都会有一种感觉：“对，这才是泰国的味道！”酸辣很够、香料味很重，而且还带一点海鲜甜味，超上头。🤤

其实讲到泰国餐，不用飞去泰国，在马来西亚也很容易找到不错的选择👍 尤其是 KL 和 Penang，这两个地方可以说是泰国餐的“重灾区”🤣，选择多到你会纠结要吃哪一间。虽然跟在泰国街头吃的那种感觉还是有点不一样，但有些餐厅的味道真的做得蛮接近，酸辣香料该有的都有🔥

Our third time staying at Parkroyal Collection KL. Thankful that Parkroyal gave us early check-in, as we were tired from our overnight flight. The hotel even gave us a room upgrade to Lifestyle Premier King Room :) Hotel room and facilities are of high quality, like our previous stays. Unfortunately, the housekeeping standard dropped a bit this time. The cleaning crew missed out on some details, which were fixed after a call to reception on the 3rd day of our stay. The pool was crowded in the evenings, probably due to public holiday in Malaysia. Free yoga class on weekend is much appreciated. Overall, it is still one of our favourite hotels in Bukit Bintang area.

Stayed here for one night and honestly had a great experience. The biggest advantage of this place is definitely the location — very close to Bukit Bintang, food places, convenience stores, and major shopping malls. Everything is within walking distance, which made the trip very convenient. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Since it is a serviced suite, the extra space and facilities made the stay feel more relaxing compared to a normal hotel room. The bed was comfortable, and the room was generally quiet, allowing us to rest well after a long day. The staff were polite and helpful during check-in and throughout the stay. The facilities, especially the swimming pool were clean and well maintained. Parking was also quite convenient.

Firstly the hotel is very misleading… it should states whether it has windows instead of just naming superior rooms, etc. When checked in only they ask to upgrade another RM 100 for rooms with windows. Secondly their parking is horrible. At check in they said that parking is RM 3.70 per entry, but after 12 AM they charge you RM 3.70 again. This isn’t per entry, this is per day!? And they keep blaming it on the building, saying they’ve shared parking with the building. However they can do setting to set parking at RM 3.70.. what kind of hotels do not provide parking space!? Btw.. in the end if you leave by morning, parking is RM 7.40. If you exit each time during the day and come back, you pay RM 3.70 per entry each time! Thirdly, for god knows what reason, exit is at B1, however they want you to turn one huge turn to B2 to get back to B1…. And what’s worse is that once you go up to slope, and you’re stuck, the guard ask you to reverse down the slope! What kind of brain design is this? And it isn’t there is no exit at B1.. they just block it for god knows why. Btw.. besides that.. sky bar has gorgeous view .. I woke up for the sunrise.. and have to give compliment to the housekeeping, they were fast, clean and just really make the room clean and comfy. They were very polite too that whenever you pass by, they’d greet you.

The room is clean & comfortable. The breakfast is amazing too. Love the stay. Would definitely come again for a short staycation. The only thing i did not like is they only provide valet parking, no normal hotel parking available. so they keep the key when we’re at the hotel which i particularly don’t like. I wish they provide normal hotel parking where i can park by myself & keep the car key. I don’t like others driving my car tho they’re good valet driver. But just for the info, the valet drivers are all very nice & it only costed rm17 for one night valet parking, it’s actually convenient. It’s cheap & easy for those who don’t mind others driving their car & keeping the car key. Overall hotel experience, 9/10. Minus 1 for the no normal hotel parking.

This is our 2nd time staying here at Furama Hotel Bukit Bintang ❤️ Our first stay was wonderful and our 2nd stay was even better 😘 Our Executive room with a beautiful city view was the perfect setup for a relaxing vacation. We want to give a special thank you to ”Sir Nomi at the front desk for his excellent assistance in upgrading us to this room. Exceptional service💯❤️ The location is perfect for us since Lalaport is right nearby , and there's connecting bridge from the hotel. Personally, i think Lalaport offers the best view of Merdeka 118, especially if you go up to the rooftop garden.The views there are highly Instagrammable 📸 👌 The food in the executive lounge was great, with many selections available and unlimited coffee. It was also less crowded during the breakfast buffet. The two staff members, Sir Rahman and Mam Selvi, were very helpful and prompt in assisting us during breakfast. Sir Tafo, who worked on the evening refreshments , was very friendly and pleasant with our special son. I really appreciate him being so patient and accommodating. I will definitely book the Executive Club again for our next visit in your hotel. It was a superb experience😍

Seamless Group Stay and Exceptional Service! I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn (North) Chow Kit for a business trip with a group of six. The experience was excellent from start to finish. The highlight was definitely the check-in process. Despite our group arriving separately under a single booking, the Front Desk handled everything seamlessly. A special shout-out to Ms. Nuraldila, who went above and beyond to ensure our check-in was stress-free. She was incredibly professional and reassured me that my colleagues arriving later would be well taken care of. The Room: I was staying on the 8th floor and absolutely loved the view. The room was surprisingly spacious, and the amenities were top-notch. Dining: The breakfast buffet offered a decent variety, but the service truly stood out. The stay was great overall. The room was very spacious and comfortable, and the equipment in the room was quite complete. The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, very close to both the Petronas Twin Towers and Pavilion Mall. It rained on our second day, but the hotel has a skybridge directly connected to the mall, so we didn't even need an umbrella! The breakfast and bars are also excellent, especially the rooftop bar. You get a direct view of the Twin Towers, and the visual effect is stunning. There's a handsome Malaysian waiter named Yugesh at the bar who recommended several super delicious cocktails to us, and they were all great value for money. On the day we left, I accidentally knocked over a shower gel bottle while rushing to check out. When we checked out, the two handsome guys at the front desk kept asking if we were hurt and said not to worry about the bottle. It really warmed my heart – the service at a five-star hotel truly is a cut above the rest! 👍👍

I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the area, and I absolutely love it! The convenience of having a parking space right next to the hotel for just RM12 per day is fantastic. The only minor downside was a slightly musty smell in the room, but it was manageable. The shower pressure could be a bit stronger, but everything else was quite convenient. I would definitely consider staying here again, especially since my dad really values convenient parking! Please note that the ironing facilities are shared, and the iron may not get very hot. Additionally, the toiletries provided are quite basic, so remember to bring your own toothpaste and toothbrush.

We arrived at about 11am and managed to check in immediately which was a pleasant surprise! The room was really spacious and we loved that there is a filtered water tap within the room so we could refill our bottles easily and save money on buying bottled water. The only bummer was that on our second day, there was a power shutdown from 10am to 2:30pm (which they informed us beforehand), but at the same time, the lifts were having maintenance (not informed on this) and we were stuck at our level (20 floors up) for about 20 to 30 mins. We were not able to take the stairs down as well which was abit frustrating as we were running late. So they could have better planned or better coordinated the schedules for the maintenance work. But other than that, the rooms were really clean and the pool and gym were nice as well. The breakfast didn’t have many selection but it was decent. We loved that the hotel was just opposite the esplanade park too! Will stay here again!

This was my first solo trip abroad, and I chose Penang, a city known for its overseas Chinese community and abundant durians. About 70% of the population here is Chinese, mostly originating from Chaoshan and Fujian, which gives it a strong Southern Min and Chaoshan vibe, much like Thailand in the movie 'The Letter to A-ma'. The Eastern & Oriental Hotel (E&O) in Penang, along with Singapore's Raffles and Angkor's Raffles, is considered one of the world's three grand heritage hotels. Established in 1885, it has hosted many celebrities, so it was a must-experience for me. The hotel is divided into two parts: the Heritage Wing, which is the original older building, and the Victory Annexe, a high-rise built just over a decade ago. To experience the authentic charm, choose the Heritage Wing. If you prefer better sea views and relatively newer facilities, the Victory Annexe might be a better option. However, the hotel's most iconic pool is exclusively accessible to guests staying in the Heritage Wing. When I was researching the hotel, I read some rumors about the Heritage Wing being a bit spooky. Perhaps it's due to its age; such tales are not uncommon in old hotels. But objectively, the Heritage Wing maintains its overall character beautifully. From the preserved first elevator in Malaysia located in the lobby to the various artworks displayed in the corridors, and even the doormen in old colonial-era uniforms, everything conveys the ambiance of the South Seas from a century ago. Three positives: First, the E&O is probably the closest hotel to the sea in Penang. Taking a walk by the ocean in the evening or early morning sounds wonderful, even if Penang's sea isn't particularly spectacular. Second, guests in the Heritage Wing receive a complimentary bottle of red wine, and all snacks and treats in the room are free. Additionally, the Char Kway Teow at Palm Court for breakfast in the Heritage Wing is incredibly flavorful – I think it's even better than many so-called Michelin-starred dishes. Third, sitting by the window in the morning, watching the sunrise and the coast, was quite therapeutic. As for negatives, overall, the hotel's service felt a bit indifferent. Compared to other places in Southeast Asia, there was a certain aloofness. This might, of course, be a remnant of its early British hotel traditions.

It was a nice experience to stay at 23 Love Lane Hotel, which is filled with Peranakan Heritage. Hotel staffs are nice and very friendly. Also, the location is close to any famous tourist spots. However, we would like to share a few points that could be improved. - Despite hotel room being clean, sheets and towels are quite old, which made us very uncomfortable. We saw some stains on towels and most of them had already turned yellow. As for sheets, we still believe they were clean since we didn’t see any previous residents’ hairs, but sheets and pillow covers had also yellowed. They could consider to change them to new ones. - Breakfast was not as good as we expected. The buffet only had few menu(salad, fruits and crackers) and the main courses are also limited. The taste was okay, but we would recommend future residents to consider eating outside in order to maximize their stay. - We noticed one of the amenities was already opened by our previous residents(not used), but still there. Hope housekeepers had checked before. - Our cutlery weren’t washed and changed at our second night. Even after we asked them for another new cutlery, the guy only washed it with water and used sponge. Since there’re original stains as well, we decided not to use the cutlery anymore. Although we found there were some spaces to improve, we still think it worths living there if you want unique experience to live in Peranakan Heritage Mansion We’re expecting future improvements so that this heritage will be preserved in the future.

Strictly speaking, it's just a villa converted into a hotel. Although it boasts over 100 years of history, century-old buildings are common throughout the city. The hotel's location is a bit out of the way. Compared to other hotels I've recently stayed at, like Dongjia and George Hotel, this one is flanked by residential buildings on both sides, and there are plans to build more behind it. It feels like it's being surrounded by tall buildings, which really takes away from the experience. Furthermore, the windows aren't very soundproof, and it's really close to the road, making it quite noisy during the day. It truly bears no resemblance to a manor. There were also a lot of mosquitoes; we didn't even open the windows, yet somehow had four or five mosquitoes in the room overnight. The room decor is decent, but honestly, many hotels in China can achieve this level of design. Also, this hotel doesn't have a gym. During check-in, the manager (I couldn't tell if they were Indian or Malaysian) had a very strong accent, and I really struggled to understand every word they said. The bar also offered two complimentary drinks in the evening, but they were very simple and tasted mediocre. If you're going to offer free drinks, do it properly, or don't offer them at all. The room's mini-bar was okay, and the complimentary snacks made the kids happy. The toiletries were Bvlgari. Breakfast was served in the hotel's ground-floor restaurant, which supposedly has been recognized by Michelin for two consecutive years. However, the breakfast was quite perfunctory. The apples and melon served were completely unsweetened and very stale; they clearly looked pre-cut, frozen for a long time, discolored, and had a terrible texture. When I ordered English breakfast tea, I wasn't asked if I wanted milk. The pepper in the pepper shaker wouldn't come out because the grains were too large. A salmon bagel was decent. Overall, the breakfast portions were average, and the taste was just so-so. After checking out, we immediately went to another restaurant to eat again. All in all, this hotel's price was not cheap compared to other hotels on this trip, but the overall experience was just average. Of course, there were some positives, such as every staff member being very enthusiastic. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, which I really appreciate.

New from Ascot group. Took over a UNESO Heritage building where I guess the structure can't be demolished or hack which makes the rooms small. For the price I pay for the garden patio, it is not worth the price. There are many properties surrounding that matches this price. For example G Hotel Kelawi or Prestige Hotel. Location is good no doubt but wanted to emphasise on the car park that is located left side of the building which no access to the rooms directly where you need to walk back out to the lobby to enter your rooms. Lobby main door entrance doesn't have any luggage friendly ramp to push up to the lobby. Something the property needs to consider as well as for wheel chair. Also, I had 2 crickets visiting my room when I was showering. LOL. Overall, the property is new, nice deco and good location. Just few suggestions above for the property to take into consideration.

I was upgraded to a Deluxe room but it was at the extreme corner next to the service staircase. Grateful for the upgraded but the room conditions were not up to par . Hair in shower room , the shower holder fell when I was taking it out and it dropped on my toe . Hence the blue black toe shown ( hehe ) . I could not sleep the whole night as the air con was very very noisy even when I lower the adjustment. The day curtain was torn . I sound it out to reception the next morning to see whether they can change my room as I was staying for another 2 nights . They did and I reckoned it was another up grade as now the room has a standing shower room . In the other previous room , you have to stand in the bath tub to shower and for a man of 65 , it is a bit tricky . The hotel really needs an up grade too . It is in a good location and CAT bus is nearby . The CAT shuttle is a complimentary bus that moves around the town area . The saving grace for my trip was that the staff was up to par and reacted quickly . Well done on this . Now , I wait for my toe to heal .

The hotel was near to eateries and some malls but the malls are not the ‘high end’ type. Almost all the food options in the mall are Muslim friendly. Hotel service was good but we didn’t make use of their facilities such as the swimming pool and gym. The breakfast buffet was not really fantastic as the food is almost the same daily and not very tasty.. quite disappointing for a 4-star hotel under Shangri-La group. The room is quite spacious but toilet is a bit small. Water pressure from toilet bowl flushing was strong and noisy and water will start splashing around if we don’t close the toilet seat. The journey to hotel from airport is about 25-30 minutes depending on traffic conditions. Overall I would suggest staying at Gurney area instead of this area as the food options are better at Gurney.

I book family room for 4 adults. The day we check in at 4pm there is no water supply around the area. There is only water at the sink. No water for flush and shower. Acceptable. When we want to use the toilet, have to go diwn to the toilet near lobby only.. Still acceptable because not the hotel fault. The thong that i'm not satisfied is the fridge. I wrnt to the counter twice to report the fridge is not cold. Ut u til i check out the next day, nobody comes to the room to fix the problem. The counter just apologize. It is not professional for me

The Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion (also known as The Blue Mansion) boasts an excellent location in George Town's historic district. Right across the street are the Clan Jetties, and there are countless historical buildings nearby, making it incredibly convenient for exploring. What truly stands out is the hotel staff; they are exceptionally polite and attentive. The hotel itself is an old heritage building, so the facilities are a little dated, but they are very well-maintained. The rooms are cleaned immaculately every day, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of choices to suit most tastes. For this area, it offers fantastic value for money.

The hotel's location is great, within walking distance to all attractions in the center of Georgetown. The rooms are clean and tidy, but the breakfast selection isn't very rich. The front desk staff could be a bit more enthusiastic. Parking can be a bit tight; if you come back late, you might struggle to find a spot. Otherwise, everything else was quite good.

Everything of this hotel is all good, the location, the environment. In the radius of one kilometer you can get anything all kind of food either morning or at night, convenient store, the shopping mall, souvenir shop. There is only one thing that I have problem with. The double bed that I have is a little bit of shaky and making sound every time I flip my body .. you know especially at night, it makes things uncomfortable. The hotel should have to do something about this. Over all things are excellent, I recommend this hotel and would come back again.

The hotel's location is really convenient. Hongyuan offers plenty of dining options and live performances, which are quite good. Even though it's a food street, the hygiene is perfectly fine. A few days ago, I even saw a spectacular fireworks show right from my room. It's also very close to Zhangyuan, and nearby Hongmao Road used to be the first affluent street. The only downside was one night around 11:00 PM, I could hear someone singing, but the soundproofing was decent enough that it wasn't a major issue.

We stayed two nights at Summer Tree Hotel Penang during our trip to Penang. One of the main reasons I chose this hotel was its location — right in the heart of Georgetown near Komtar, which makes it very convenient for getting around. It also offers parking, which is a big plus in this area. Another reason was the late check-in option, as I was having dinner with a friend in Nibong Tebal, which is quite a distance away. The pricing was also reasonable, making it an attractive choice overall. Upon arrival, however, parking was already full. I had to park at a space right in front of the hotel where delivery trucks usually arrive in the morning. This made me slightly anxious, as I was worried I might be asked to move my car early the next day. The lobby is simple but modern, with a creative, slightly hipster and artistic vibe — almost like a small modern art space. There are vending machines offering snacks, drinks, and essentials for travelers. At the back, there are toilets and also a laundry area with washing machines. A small coffee corner and even an old-school arcade game machine add a nice nostalgic touch, which was a pleasant surprise. However, the room itself was quite disappointing. While the room is basic and small — which I don’t mind — the flooring under the carpet felt severely damaged. Walking on it felt uneven and almost “soft,” as if the ground beneath had deteriorated. It gave a very uncomfortable and unsettling feeling, possibly due to moisture or termite damage underneath. Another concern was the bathroom design. There is an elevated step at the entrance, which becomes a clear trip hazard. I actually tripped once when entering. Even after that, I had to be very cautious because the floor just outside the bathroom is extremely slippery. Every entry and exit required full attention. There is also no proper shelf or platform inside the shower area to place shampoo or shower gel. We had to repeatedly open and close the glass door just to access toiletries during showering, which was inconvenient. Only basic amenities like shower gel and liquid hand soap were provided. The room was also advertised with a decent view, but the window was covered with a mesh, and since we were on the first floor, there was very little to see. On the positive side, the water dispenser outside the room was very convenient. The next day, parking was still full, so we had to park at a private area nearby. Since it was raining, the walk back to the hotel was quite inconvenient as well. Overall, while the location and concept of the hotel are strong, the room condition and safety design issues need serious attention. I would strongly recommend replacing the carpet flooring with vinyl wood flooring for durability and hygiene. As for the bathroom layout, improvements may be limited due to structure, but safety enhancements like anti-slip flooring would make a big difference.

This loft in the city center is relatively decent. It's perfectly located for all the attractions. The airport bus stop is just a 10-minute walk from the hotel. There are two large shopping malls nearby. A big thank you to the staff for letting us check in early. The bed linen was soft and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Shampoo and shower gel were provided for free. There's a water cooler (hot/cold) on the floor. The fridge worked great, and there was also a kettle and toaster in the room. As for the downsides: The cleanliness of the room was so-so – dusty, with a somewhat worn-out renovation, and some noticeable dirt stains in places. The shower only had lukewarm water. There were no face towels. One of the bath towels had a stain. There were ants running around near the fridge, seemingly knowing where the food was, so make sure to put all your food straight into the fridge. I left a biscuit on the table and ants swarmed it. There are no double-glazed windows, and since our room faced the street, we could hear passing cars perfectly. It's tolerable for a night or two, but not for any longer.

Visiting Georgetown on my first trip to Malaysia was absolutely the right decision!🇲🇾 Since the entire city is a World Heritage site, most people spoke English, and the Chuya Heritage Hotel where I stayed, while facing a main street, was set back slightly, so it wasn't noisy at all!😃✨ On top of that, all the staff were incredibly kind and gave me very detailed recommendations for restaurants and how to get around the city! It's a perfect location for walks, sightseeing, and dining out. 😊 If I have the chance again, I would love to stay at this hotel again! ✨ Thank you so much to all the staff! 🇲🇾 Georgetown! I m first time stay at this hotel , i saw there is 3.5 star reviews in Google review after i booked hotel. My expectations not so high ,before i check in . While , after i stay here for 3 night , there is a good experience for me as a solo travelers for the price. Well, u must prepare your own blanket and bedsheet , hair blower , ear plug , hair shampoo and conditioner , then u will enjoy yourself at here. The building is a nice build outside . For me , i definitely will come back next time ! Thanks for serve me well for the 3 night stay , and of coz a good room service . Thank you
