这个真的不用多说，泰国的灵魂之一🔥 一上桌那个酸辣香气直接冲出来，超开胃。我每次喝第一口都会有一种感觉：“对，这才是泰国的味道！”酸辣很够、香料味很重，而且还带一点海鲜甜味，超上头。🤤

很经典、但不会腻的那种👍 甜甜咸咸，还有一点酸，加上花生碎的口感，很加分。属于“不会踩雷”的安全牌，但在泰国吃真的还是比较香😂

这个真的很“泰国标志”🧡 甜、浓、茶味重，还有那个橙色真的很有记忆点！除了橙色也有绿色的，我本身比较爱喝绿奶茶！因为感觉绿奶茶的茶香味会比普通奶茶来得更醇厚~ 基本上去泰国一天可以喝两杯🤣

其实讲到泰国餐，不用飞去泰国，在马来西亚也很容易找到不错的选择👍 尤其是 KL 和 Penang，这两个地方可以说是泰国餐的“重灾区”🤣，选择多到你会纠结要吃哪一间。虽然跟在泰国街头吃的那种感觉还是有点不一样，但有些餐厅的味道真的做得蛮接近，酸辣香料该有的都有🔥

📍 吉隆坡（Kuala Lumpur）

KL 的泰国餐选择很多，从 shopping mall 里面的连锁店，到隐藏在住宅区的小店都有。

👉整体来说 KL 的泰国餐比较偏：

环境舒服一点（偏餐厅 feel）
口味有调整过，更符合大众接受度
选择很多，适合约朋友一起吃

It's okay hotel but old fashion, I will not recommend this hotel to my friends. I found ants 🐜 on the bathroom, don't know what was going on. It's walking away to Petronas twin tower, perhaps 5 minutes walk. Restaurant in front of hotel, muslim cemetery behind the hotel, parking lot beside the hotel on the left side, on going construction on the right side of the hotel. I will not staying in this hotel anymore. Perhaps it's 5 star 15 years ago, not now.

The hairdryer is very weak; I recommend bringing your own. Unfortunately, the Twin Towers are not visible from the pool, which was a major disappointment as that was my main reason for choosing this hotel. There were also no instructions on how to use the pool.

Oops, I wrote the last review incorrectly 😂 How do I delete it? I got this hotel mixed up with one in Malacca! 🤣 Overall, this hotel is pretty good. There's a mall right downstairs, making it convenient for dining. The breakfast selection is quite extensive, but it can get crowded. The swimming pool is outdoors and offers views of both the Petronas Towers and KL Tower. The hotel's cleanliness is excellent throughout. My only minor complaint is that we booked two rooms, and on the first night, one was 1842, right next to the elevator. We heard the elevator going up and down all night. Luckily, they moved us to adjacent rooms for the second night.

Our family of 4 stayed at the 3 bedroom suite which was actually big enough to house 6 people. The rooms were spacious, the living room was comfy for the family to hang out and the kitchen was well equipped with cutleries and all things we needed. Cleanliness was acceptable, no complains. The pool and gym is great! The location is around all the bars, so the streets may be abit sleazy at night. But it doesnt really bother us. Only takes about 8-10min walk to Bukit Bintang shopping belt and mrt so its good. But because of the popular location, many GRAB cars dont want to pick us up due to the heavy traffic. Hotel breakfast is not very good, better to eat outside. Other than that, very enjoyable stay. Recommended for families or big groups.

Overall my stay at Pacific Express Hotel Central Market was perfect.(except the water heater is not function well, water flow hot for a while then cold again rm8521), other than that the room is spacious, with small refrigerator, nothing to compare with such nice room and reasonable price. The unrivaled location, convenient dining choices combine to create a truly wonderful living experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kuala Lumpur, and I will definitely choose to stay here again. Room is perfect clean, with a large lobby, good security. Must try!

I already sent an email for confirmation of the extra bed along with other few questions to the hotel on the same week i booked on trip which was 3 weeks prior to the date i check in. But on the day itself, the receptionist told me they will check with the housekeeping team. When i got into the room, no extra bed installed so i saw that the sofa is a sofa bed & tried to install it. It was dusty & definitely not an extra bed i paid for so i called the front office for confirmation, they replied again with “we’ll check with housekeeping “. I waited for more than 20mins still no callback. Got tired of waiting, i told my mum to call them again then i went to the bathroom. I turned on the water in the bathtub because there was debris & hair in it. Guess what, the water didn’t go down the drain hole, i tried pressing the lid a few times to create a pressure only then the water slowly started to flow. There’s more but in conclusion it was not an enjoyable stay as i expected from the mouth say from other people & other reviews.

We want to give a special thank you to ”Sir Nomi at the front desk for his excellent assistance in upgrading us to this room. Exceptional service💯❤️ The location is perfect for us since Lalaport is right nearby , and there's connecting bridge from the hotel. Personally, i think Lalaport offers the best view of Merdeka 118, especially if you go up to the rooftop garden.The views there are highly Instagrammable 📸 👌 The food in the executive lounge was great, with many selections available and unlimited coffee. It was also less crowded during the breakfast buffet. The two staff members, Sir Rahman and Mam Selvi, were very helpful and prompt in assisting us during breakfast. Sir Tafo, who worked on the evening refreshments , was very friendly and pleasant with our special son. I really appreciate him being so patient and accommodating. I will definitely book the Executive Club again for our next visit in your hotel. It was a superb experience😍

It is also located near the Pasar Seni LRT/MRT station and Pasar Seni Bus Hub, very easy to get around. The only issue was the bathroom water pressure. Sometimes the water flow would suddenly become very weak. The selection for breakfast buffet is limited, although it did offer both local and international dishes.

There are two towers, North and South, with the pool located in the South tower. They also have a coin laundry. The only downsides are the high price and that they don't explain how to use the facilities to foreign guests. Overall, I recommend this hotel.

This was my 4th or 5th time staying at Momo's Hotel, but standards have seriously dropped. I booked a Queen bed but was given two single beds pushed together. To make matters worse, the signature body wash felt diluted with water compared to my previous stays. The most unacceptable part was a severe privacy breach: I requested a toothbrush in the morning, but I think id due to a staff communication error, housekeeping opened our door without knocking the door while my girlfriend and I were barely dressed, however the housekeeper got apologised immediately to me. When I reported this unauthorised entry during checkout, the receptionist not really take it seriously without any real apology. As a loyal customer, this poor service and lack of respect for privacy is deeply disappointing.

The shophouses are cute and spacious (we stayed in Indian Shophouse and our parents stayed in another king’s size bedroom), the aesthetics inside the room and especially in the lobby/ afternoon tea area/ breakfast cafe is incredible and nostalgic. Strictly speaking, it's just a villa converted into a hotel. Although it boasts over 100 years of history, century-old buildings are common throughout the city. The hotel's location is a bit out of the way. Compared to other hotels I've recently stayed at, like Dongjia and George Hotel, this one is flanked by residential buildings on both sides, and there are plans to build more behind it. It feels like it's being surrounded by tall buildings, which really takes away from the experience. Furthermore, the windows aren't very soundproof, and it's really close to the road, making it quite noisy during the day. It truly bears no resemblance to a manor. There were also a lot of mosquitoes; we didn't even open the windows, yet somehow had four or five mosquitoes in the room overnight. The room decor is decent, but honestly, many hotels in China can achieve this level of design. Also, this hotel doesn't have a gym. During check-in, the manager (I couldn't tell if they were Indian or Malaysian) had a very strong accent, and I really struggled to understand every word they said. The bar also offered two complimentary drinks in the evening, but they were very simple and tasted mediocre. If you're going to offer free drinks, do it properly, or don't offer them at all. The room's mini-bar was okay, and the complimentary snacks made the kids happy. The toiletries were Bvlgari. Breakfast was served in the hotel's ground-floor restaurant, which supposedly has been recognized by Michelin for two consecutive years. However, the breakfast was quite perfunctory. The apples and melon served were completely unsweetened and very stale; they clearly looked pre-cut, frozen for a long time, discolored, and had a terrible texture. When I ordered English breakfast tea, I wasn't asked if I wanted milk. The pepper in the pepper shaker wouldn't come out because the grains were too large. A salmon bagel was decent. Overall, the breakfast portions were average, and the taste was just so-so. After checking out, we immediately went to another restaurant to eat again. All in all, this hotel's price was not cheap compared to other hotels on this trip, but the overall experience was just average. Of course, there were some positives, such as every staff member being very enthusiastic. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, which I really appreciate.

I had specifically requested a clean room as I am sensitive to dust and easily develop allergies. Unfortunately, there were hairs underneath the pillow, stains on the towels, and even ants inside one of the cups provided. The floor was also noticeably dusty with hairs in several areas. That said, the staff were friendly and responsive. When I requested a change of bedsheets and pillowcases, they attended to it very quickly and were helpful throughout. I hope the hotel can improve its housekeeping standards, as the room itself has great potential.

After much thought, I still believe that a well-established five-star hotel is the most reliable choice. This Jen hotel is incredibly close to all the attractions, and you can even walk to the street art murals. There's a decent-sized shopping mall nearby, along with a supermarket and Starbucks. Although the hotel facilities are a bit dated, the service is still excellent. The breakfast, in particular, offers a great variety, including freshly stir-fried kway teow and freshly cooked noodle soup. I'd definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Penang!

However, if the weather is hot, it's better to call a Grab. The room we stayed in had a living room, but the air conditioning there was faulty and kept turning off automatically. We informed the staff, and they quickly arranged for maintenance personnel to attempt an immediate repair. It seemed like they couldn't fix it right away because they told us to request a room change if the same issue occurred again. But since we mostly stayed in the bedroom, we didn't bother changing rooms.

Stayed here recently and had a very pleasant experience. We arrived around 9:00 PM and were given a spacious corner room, which was a nice surprise. The hotel thoughtfully provided a prayer mat which was very convenient for Muslim guests. The bathroom was large, clean, and comfortable. One of the highlights was the excellent location — there is a spa and massage centre nearby that operates until 1:00 AM, perfect for late-night relaxation. There are also great food options within walking distance, including Sup Hameed and Chow Rasta. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices, and the overall service was warm and attentive. Special thanks to Mr. Bani for his friendly hospitality and outstanding service throughout our stay. Overall, a comfortable stay with spacious rooms, convenient facilities, great food nearby, and excellent customer service. Highly recommended and would definitely stay here again.

It's clear this hotel was once a grand establishment, but it's lost its former glory, as the renovation probably dates back to the 90s. The doormen at the entrance were a pleasant surprise; since there's quite a steep staircase leading into the hotel, someone to help is super helpful (they helped me carry my suitcase up and then down when I checked out). I had a room on the 17th floor with two single beds. If you're tall, your feet might hang off the beds; I'm 163 cm and even I felt they were a bit short. The room is cleaned daily – even though I didn't use the toiletries (shower gel, shampoo, lotion, toothbrushes), they conscientiously replenished them every time after cleaning. They provide two bottles of water per day, but I didn't see a water cooler. There's a hairdryer, fridge, safe, and wardrobe. The pool on the 8th floor seemed a bit small to me, but you can still swim. Towels are provided there, and next to it, there's even a small gym with a treadmill. The buffet-style cafe on the 1st floor doesn't have any meat, but there are fruits, lots of local pasta dishes, pastries, juices, coffee, and tea – you definitely won't go hungry if you order breakfast. And the location is excellent – very close to key malls. I definitely recommend it.

The hotel's location is excellent. It's within walking distance to the Queen Victoria Memorial Clock Tower, City Hall, and the waterfront. You can also walk to the tourist area's mural streets and the Peranakan Museum. The cleanliness and service are both above average. Although the breakfast offers a good variety, the taste is just okay, but it was still the most palatable among the three hotels I stayed at this trip. They offer congee and pickled vegetables. The hotel provides large umbrellas for guests to borrow. However, it's really not necessary as rain in Penang usually comes in short bursts, so there's no need for such a big umbrella. The room is old, and the bathroom leaks, as shown in the picture. I wouldn't recommend booking breakfast at any hotel in Malaysia. Breakfast at local restaurants is much cheaper and tastier. The only thing you'll need to worry about in Penang is your appetite being too small!

The hotel's location is really convenient. Hongyuan offers plenty of dining options and live performances, which are quite good. Even though it's a food street, the hygiene is perfectly fine. A few days ago, I even saw a spectacular fireworks show right from my room. It's also very close to Zhangyuan, and nearby Hongmao Road used to be the first affluent street. The only downside was one night around 11:00 PM, I could hear someone singing, but the soundproofing was decent enough that it wasn't a major issue.

We stayed two nights at Summer Tree Hotel Penang during our trip to Penang. One of the main reasons I chose this hotel was its location — right in the heart of Georgetown near Komtar, which makes it very convenient for getting around. It also offers parking, which is a big plus in this area. Another reason was the late check-in option, as I was having dinner with a friend in Nibong Tebal, which is quite a distance away. The pricing was also reasonable, making it an attractive choice overall. Upon arrival, however, parking was already full. I had to park at a space right in front of the hotel where delivery trucks usually arrive in the morning. This made me slightly anxious, as I was worried I might be asked to move my car early the next day. The lobby is simple but modern, with a creative, slightly hipster and artistic vibe — almost like a small modern art space. There are vending machines offering snacks, drinks, and essentials for travelers. At the back, there are toilets and also a laundry area with washing machines. A small coffee corner and even an old-school arcade game machine add a nice nostalgic touch, which was a pleasant surprise. However, the room itself was quite disappointing. While the room is basic and small — which I don’t mind — the flooring under the carpet felt severely damaged. Walking on it felt uneven and almost “soft,” as if the ground beneath had deteriorated. It gave a very uncomfortable and unsettling feeling, possibly due to moisture or termite damage underneath. Another concern was the bathroom design. There is an elevated step at the entrance, which becomes a clear trip hazard. I actually tripped once when entering. Even after that, I had to be very cautious because the floor just outside the bathroom is extremely slippery. Every entry and exit required full attention. There is also no proper shelf or platform inside the shower area to place shampoo or shower gel. We had to repeatedly open and close the glass door just to access toiletries during showering, which was inconvenient. Only basic amenities like shower gel and liquid hand soap were provided. The room was also advertised with a decent view, but the window was covered with a mesh, and since we were on the first floor, there was very little to see. On the positive side, the water dispenser outside the room was very convenient. The next day, parking was still full, so we had to park at a private area nearby. Since it was raining, the walk back to the hotel was quite inconvenient as well. Overall, while the location and concept of the hotel are strong, the room condition and safety design issues need serious attention. I would strongly recommend replacing the carpet flooring with vinyl wood flooring for durability and hygiene. As for the bathroom layout, improvements may be limited due to structure, but safety enhancements like anti-slip flooring would make a big difference.

Suitable for those who wants to choose a casual lodging to explore the city. The service is responsive and super friendly.
