Everything you need for dining, shopping, and entertainment is available in one stop! The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. All the staff were super friendly, especially Freya, who was exceptionally thoughtful. Every request was handled with care, and she even asked about our stay experience during check-out. That feeling of being valued was truly heartwarming! The overall experience was top-notch—definitely my first choice next time I visit Shenzhen!

Getting to Futian Station by taxi is also very easy. The guest rooms are spacious, and the Four Points' signature comfortable beds provide a great night's sleep. The rooms are clean and tidy, with complete bathroom facilities and stable internet. Some room types even offer river views. The soundproofing is good, ensuring a peaceful rest. Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and the service attitude was attentive. The breakfast buffet offers a rich variety of options, a good mix of Western and Chinese cuisine, including freshly made Cantonese dim sum like Chee Cheong Fun and Koay Teow. The food quality is consistently good, and the dining environment is comfortable. Hotel amenities include an outdoor swimming pool, a 24-hour gym, and ample parking space in the underground car park, including charging spots, which is very convenient for those traveling by car. As a Marriott five-star hotel, it offers good value for money overall. It's suitable for both business trips and travelers commuting between Shenzhen and Hong Kong. My stay was very satisfying, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Shenzhen.

We stayed at this Hilton for a short weekend family trip with our little one. Check-in at the front desk was quick and efficient. Seeing that we had a child with us, the staff were exceptionally warm and friendly, proactively providing children's slippers and extra bottles of water. The room was impeccably clean with no dust to be found, and the power outlets were all fitted with safety covers—a very kid-friendly touch that gave us great peace of mind. Breakfast featured yogurt and steamed dim sum, which are favorites for kids, and the flavors were light rather than heavy. The hotel's security was well-managed, with proper access control making us feel at ease letting our child play in the lobby. The location is very convenient for getting around, with the subway right next door, making it quick and easy to reach nearby shopping malls. Housekeeping came every day to tidy up, organizing the clutter on the counters and taking all the trash away. The entire stay went smoothly and was thoroughly enjoyable with no unexpected hiccups. Staying here with a child made things so much easier and worry-free.

First off, the hotel's location is excellent, right in the heart of Futian CBD. It's incredibly convenient for transportation, with Futian High-Speed Rail Station and multiple (5!) subway lines right next to the hotel. There are also plenty of dining and shopping options nearby, like Link CentralWalk, Star River COCO Park, and Shopping Park. The room itself was very spacious, and it even had a walk-in closet, which I haven't seen in the same room type at Shangri-La hotels I've stayed at in Beijing, Xi'an, Xiamen, Nanchang, Chengdu, Sanya, or Guangzhou. The only downside is that the price is quite a bit higher than those other Shangri-La properties, but overall, it's still a great stay.

I know this hotel is undergoing renovations, and some packages for the new room types even include lounge access and five meals a day, which offers excellent value for money! First, regarding the room, the newly renovated style is minimalist and refined. The room feels very spacious and has excellent natural light. The bathroom amenities include Diptyque shampoo, shower gel, and lotion, which was a very pleasant touch. Next, concerning the dining, the five meals included afternoon tea, happy hour, evening dessert and drinks after check-in, and breakfast and lunch on the second day. The afternoon tea was a pleasant surprise. Although the food selection for happy hour wasn't extensive, it focused on quality over quantity. I didn't get to enjoy the late-night dessert session, but I learned that it was a chocolate-themed dessert night, and the themes are updated regularly. It's worth noting that no matter when you dine, you can enjoy unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Finally, I'd like to commend the hotel's service. All the staff I encountered during this stay were extremely polite and friendly. Especially Miss Sahar at the front desk, the check-in process was very smooth and efficient, and she even followed up afterward to see if I needed any assistance. A male staff member in the lounge also provided very professional service, always greeting us with a warm smile every time we entered the lounge for a meal. Overall, my experience during this stay was excellent, and I look forward to visiting again after the full renovation!

This time, my Trip.com booking was a bit odd, split into two parts, so I guess I'll write a bit more. The executive lounge service was excellent, and the coffee was great! As for the room, after the upgrade, it was incredibly spacious! From one direction, you could even see the Ping An Finance Centre, Shenzhen's tallest landmark. A small detail, it seems the hair dryer has been upgraded to a Dyson, which is quite good. One evening, I got back late, so I just had a quick bite at the Japanese restaurant on the 6th floor, which was surprisingly good. The ingredients seemed very fresh, and I didn't feel heavy after eating. Breakfast at the 29th-floor executive lounge lasts a bit longer than the 6th-floor, until 11 AM. After my morning workout, I went up at exactly 11 AM, which was a bit late, but Ms. Carrie was very patient and asked the chef to make me an omelette, which was very kind. Check-out was also very smooth. Looking forward to my next stay!

I could clearly hear the doorbell ringing several times from the room next door, which was very disruptive to my rest. Overall, it didn't meet the service standards of a five-star hotel. The pool wasn't anything special either; at best, it's just a regular hotel offering basic facilities. The upside is that the double bed was indeed very large.

I'm very satisfied with everything and will choose this hotel again next time. Five-star rating!

The only downside was that I forgot to press the 'do not disturb' button during our nap, and a cleaning lady rang the doorbell to ask about cleaning satisfaction, which woke up our family of three.

Opened in 2009, the Grand Hyatt Shenzhen is already 17 years old, making it a truly 'old' hotel in China. When you talk about old hotels, there's always the sentiment of 'new over old' and a dismissive scorn for outdated decor. However, my impression of the Grand Hyatt Shenzhen is 'old on the outside, young at heart.' The hotel's decor undeniably feels dated and old-fashioned by today's standards. Yet, the presence of new bidet toilets and sturdy, well-maintained bathroom fixtures prevents the hardware from feeling run-down. Furthermore, the meticulous and neat bed-making clearly demonstrates the hotel's housekeeping department is on top of their game. I'm not sure if all rooms are like this, but in the corner king room I stayed in, there was a palpable sense that even the air felt clean. This is thanks to the meticulously clean windows, which at one point gave me the impression of being in a Japanese hotel. The hotel is very close to Luohu Port, and from the guestroom, you can take in panoramic views of Luohu landmarks such as Kingkey 100 and Diwang Building. Luohu must be considered an older district in Shenzhen, and it certainly lives up to its reputation with plenty of dining, drinking, and entertainment options! The sky lobby offers stunning views. The twin room in the Club Lounge was spacious and comfortable, the bedding provided a very restful sleep, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The service was attentive and courteous. The food selection at the Club Lounge was diverse and delicious. It was an excellent stay! The Club Lounge twin room was spacious and clean, with meticulous service, and the executive lounge was a great place to eat and relax. The location is absolutely unbeatable, making it perfect for friends traveling together. Highly recommended!

Honestly, the service team was so inconsistent it was speechless, with too many frustrating examples to list 😅. The concierge downstairs was excellent, and the lobby front desk staff were professional and good. However, the room attendants seemed quite young, possibly untrained, and their compensation might be average. They were completely clueless about the binoculars, laundry service, and minibar 😅. The male staff at the fitness center were very enthusiastic and provided professional and thorough guidance. But the changing room cleaner, an old man, would work right next to you, silently trying to shoo you away, and when asked a question, his tone was sarcastic… My companion mentioned that the female attendants were bad, ignoring her and chatting/playing on their phones nearby. I also observed the same situation during my visit 😅. The afternoon tea at the lounge was quite sparse (though it seemed better for foreigners**), but the evening service and food quality were excellent and attentive. Overall, if I hadn't been unable to book at Dongwan, I wouldn't have bothered going here. Every staff member at breakfast was professional, thumbs up. Some facilities in the executive room were showing their age; the minibar had a rusty smell 😂, likely due to prolonged disuse without replacement, but the room attendant was still enthusiastic. The hallway carpet was old, and the air freshener had an unsettling, somewhat rancid smell. Overall, for 5k a night, it felt worse than some 2k-3k-a-night hotels. To an NPC, this is the most disappointing fan I've ever stayed at. Now I understand why my boss specifically said not to sign a contract with this place.

We had a two-bedroom suite, very comfortable. The beds were large and quite spacious. There was a balcony with a table and chairs. The weather wasn't perfect for swimming, but we walked along the beach, which is nearby. They replenished the water daily, changed the towels, and cleaned the room. We thought we needed hooks for coats and bags in the hallway, and at least a small table in the room for a computer or for the family to have tea. Nearby there's a pizzeria, a fruit market, and an ancient fortress with beautiful streets, goods, and food. Overall, we loved everything, thank you!

Came here solo to escape to the mountains for Children's Day, haha! 😄 This villa guesthouse is nestled halfway up the mountain in Overseas Chinese Town East. It's incredibly quiet, the air is great, and it's surrounded by lush greenery – exactly my style! 😍 I rarely stay in guesthouses because I always worry about cleanliness. But this place is fantastic, super clean! The bedding was really comfortable too, I actually had a rare night of high-quality sleep. ☺️ My room also had a large balcony with a view. As for facilities, there's a hot tub and a pool. There weren weren't many people, so I practically had the place to myself. Breakfast is served individually, and you get amazing mountain views. You can also head up to Tea Stream Valley on the mountaintop to ride the small train. They offer shuttle service to Dameisha Metro Station and the mountaintop. Overall, a pretty good experience!

I had an excellent stay at the JW Marriott Shenzhen. The hotel met my expectations, but what really stood out was the level of service provided by Faye. From check-in to check-out, Faye was consistently attentive and professional. She regularly followed up to make sure everything was going well, asked if I needed anything, and made sure my stay was comfortable. I travel quite a bit and have stayed at many five-star hotels, so I know the difference between standard service and someone who genuinely takes pride in their work. Faye is definitely one of those people who goes the extra mile without being asked. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to guest satisfaction made a real difference throughout my stay. Management should recognize Faye for the excellent job she does. Employees like her are what set a five-star hotel apart from the competition. Overall, a great experience. I would gladly stay here again. Special thanks to Faye for the outstanding service.

This is Shenzhen, where you can stay at the St. Regis at the ultimate value for money(?). Putting everything else aside, just being in the 92nd-floor lobby is healing. Make sure to visit the bar at night. I definitely want to visit Shenzhen again at least once—just because of the hotel. However, they always insist on speaking Chinese to you first—maybe I look too much like a local haha. Even when they can clearly tell from the context that I'm not, unless you act completely clueless, they keep speaking Chinese to you until the end. Kind of like how the French won't speak English first even if they know it... It's a bit awkward to complain about, but it doesn't leave the best feeling. That kind of vibe.

The hotel boasts a prime location within walking distance of Sea World, and is very close to K11 and the Shekou Cruise Center. After finishing work in the evening, I enjoyed taking leisurely walks along the seaside boardwalk. The surrounding area offers a complete range of dining, shopping, and entertainment options, yet the environment remains quiet and peaceful. Highly recommended for both business trips and vacations!

I had a truly satisfying stay. I'd mentioned to customer service beforehand that I was celebrating my birthday, and the front desk staff even upgraded my room and decorated it, plus they gave me a small cake. The room view was fantastic, with the entire ocean and Yantian Port visible. The hotel's Chinese restaurant had great food and presentation. Breakfast was also delicious with plenty of choices. Let's start with the check-in. The very first impression upon entering the room was that it was both freezing cold and stinky. Why? The AC was set extremely low. Why? To mask a strong musty smell. Plus, there was an air freshener running in the room. What does this indicate? It shows the hotel was well aware of the terrible odor in the room. I called the front desk to request a room change. Within a few minutes, a young female staff member brought me a new room key, and her exact words were, ”Why is the smell this strong?” Now it's breakfast time, I'll just leave a few photos here for you to judge: Photo 1: Hot milk. May I ask if we're supposed to drink milk out of a dinner plate? I searched everywhere and couldn't find a single cup. Photo 2: Taken around 7:42, and now it's 8:14, still no staff in sight. Are they expecting guests to DIY their own jianbing guozi (breakfast pancakes)? Photo 3: Also unattended at 7:42. Ten minutes or so later, I finally spotted the chef. I ordered a plate of leafy greens and came back to pick it up five minutes later. The chef asked me, ”Did you order beef offal???” I asked for greens! He couldn't find my order and said, ”Let me make you another portion.” I'll let you all judge the management and service for yourselves.

As a first-time guest, I felt that clearer directional signs would have been very helpful—specifically regarding how to get to the hotel from Exit 16 at the airport, and how to access Exit 18 to enter the airport when leaving. Also, the lobby is on the 1st floor, while airport transfers are on the 3rd floor. It would be great if they could add a check-out counter on the 3rd floor as well. When checking in at the lobby, please speak a bit slower for guests who aren't familiar with the process; at the time, my husband and I were the only guests there. Maybe a rather ”cool” attitude is just your style, but I didn't quite get it. As a guest, I really didn't want to listen to a detailed explanation of why overseas credit cards can be tricky to use. Our card failed when paying for dinner at the 3rd-floor Chinese restaurant, and at the lobby check-in, we had to try several different machines before the payment finally went through. Fine! Every Hyatt might have slightly different payment processing details, but honestly, I just wanted reassurance that I could use my overseas credit card, rather than having staff assume the guest was at fault. We stood there with our heavy backpacks, looking foolish while the front desk staff processed things expressionlessly, until my husband decided to put our luggage aside and come back to continue standing there like we were being punished. Fortunately, a staff member in a light blue uniform eventually took the initiative to guide us to the elevators, and that was when we finally started to feel welcomed. On the hardware side, the soundproofing deserves high praise. I couldn't hear any outside airplane or street traffic noise at all, which made for a great night's sleep, and even the entry-level room felt spacious and comfortable. The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of good quality food, though it would be a nice touch to have labels indicating the specific type of meat.

This is probably the most comfortable Hilton I've ever stayed at, and specifically the Nanhai Wing. It's the renovated old-school Shenzhen's first five-star Nanhai Hotel, and it even has a small garden downstairs, giving it a full retro resort vibe. The Wanghai Wing, on the other hand, is more postmodern in style. The front desk staff thoughtfully gave us an extra breakfast. The kids' toiletries, slippers, and bathrobes were also adorable. Room service was excellent. The Nanhai pool is 2 meters deep, perfect for a comfortable swim, and it wasn't crowded even during the National Day holiday. The public areas also have a sauna, hot tubs, and relaxation areas. The Wanghai side has a shallower outdoor pool suitable for kids and a dedicated children's pool, which tends to be a bit busier. There's also an indoor pool and a jacuzzi. The shuttle service between the two hotels is frequent, but they're actually very close, just a 3-minute walk apart. The suite in the Nanhai Wing offers excellent value for money compared to equivalent room types in the Wanghai Wing. It has two large balconies and a sofa bed that can be opened up, easily accommodating a family of four. The room design is great, with the bathroom, shower, toilet, and walk-in closet each being independent spaces that can be separated by sliding doors. Getting around from the Nanhai Wing is also very convenient; the elevator is very close to the lobby entrance, and you don't need to go up and down hills within the hotel. It's a 10-minute walk to the Sea World commercial area nearby. I'd definitely recommend the Nanhai Wing for a super chill holiday next time.

Traveling in Shenzhen, I stumbled upon the InterContinental Shenzhen by chance and it was a pleasant surprise! The hotel is surrounded by the Folk Culture Village, Happy Valley, Window of the World, and vast greenery. The rooms are spacious and quiet, and the transportation is very convenient with the subway station right outside the door. There is a great variety of breakfast options, both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and a bustling, popular gym. Had a wonderful three-night stay, highly recommended! Special thanks to the butler Amelia and other staff members for their 5-star service!

We live in Hong Kong and decided to have a family weekend at Shenzhen Marriott. I read many positive reviews about it before arrival. And it appeared to be a lovely place indeed. We arrived around noon and the room was already available for check-in. Receptionists speak English or use a translator, so if you don't speak Chinese you can still communicate with the staff 😊 the room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was amazing. We also tried a dinner buffet and the seafood choices were amazing too + free flow of wine and beer, worth its price. The fun zoo was lovely too - there are many animals, cats, rabbits, lama, parrots, guinea pigs, horse, reptiles, all looked clean and healthy, so you won't be worried about your child playing with them. The territory is beautiful and a nice place for photo taking. We will consider coming again for some future celebrations. 🥳 P.s. you don't need a swimming cap for the outdoor swimming pool but need it for the indoor pool. The showers were clean and had shampoo, conditioner, body wash same as the room showers, so if you check in early or check out late you can use that facility, very practical.

We stayed in the Deluxe sea view king room with a balcony. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by a friendly smile from Zoe and Jessica who were always really thoughtful, attentive and ready to help. The front house staff are an asset to the hotel. The apartment features an open-plan design that feels larger than a standard hotel room, complete with home-like comforts including a washer/dryer machine which allowed us to refresh our clothes. A clothes hanger along with detergent is provided by the hotel again providing ease. The views from the balcony were stunning. Large windows across the rooms and the hotel offer fantastic, sweeping views of the surrounding area and waterfront. The sleeping and living spaces are kept spotless and hygienic by the housekeeping team. Situated close to 2 metro stations and local shopping options and residential conveniences, making daily errands simple. This was our first time in Shenzhen and will most definitely won’t be our last a special thank you to all at Hampton :)
