On our second day in Tokyo, we experienced a typhoon with strong winds and heavy rain, but the soundproofing in the room was so good we couldn't hear a thing – it was incredibly quiet. Getting around was also very convenient, as it's close to the subway station, making it easy to reach popular areas like Shinjuku, Shibuya, and Ginza.

Although it's right next to the railway tracks, the soundproofing was surprisingly excellent. With the subway stopping at night, our sleep was completely undisturbed. Compared to most hotels in Tokyo, the room size was very generous, so two people didn't feel cramped at all. The shower experience in the bathroom was particularly good, with a three-function rain shower head and ample water pressure, making showering a real treat. The hotel doesn't have self-service laundry, and the laundry service isn't cheap, but it's a reasonable price compared to hotels of a similar caliber. The hotel is quite large, with several restaurants and shops inside, art installations everywhere, and carpets throughout, creating a wonderfully atmospheric place to wander around. The large fresh flower arrangement and chandelier at the main entrance, which might not look as stunning in photos, were still breathtaking to see in person. The breakfast was very good. While the variety wasn't extensive, the quality was consistent and the taste was excellent. The service level was very high, with staff being both elegant and enthusiastic. The location is a major highlight: a side exit leads directly to a lively food street, and it's just a 3-minute walk to Ginza for shopping. The main entrance faces Hibiya Park, with no shops obstructing the view around, making it very convenient for taxis. Overall, it's highly recommended for family trips.

The room offered a view of Tokyo Tower, which I was very pleased with! Since it was my birthday, I had mentioned it in advance, and the hotel emailed me about a surprise. Upon checking in, I found they had left a few small cookies, which was a lovely touch. However, upon entering the room, there was an old, hard-to-describe smell. This smell wasn't present near the bed. (I had read reviews upon checking in and noticed this wasn't an isolated incident.) Check-in was at 3 PM, and I arrived around 3:10 PM. There was a huge line for check-in, and I didn't get into my room until after 4 PM. This service was very poor; it's the first time I've encountered such a situation, and I hope the hotel improves. Personally, I felt the overall service attitude of the hotel wasn't particularly enthusiastic, and all the staff seemed to treat guests differently. The toilet in the bathroom was also old. It's hard to imagine this is a hotel renovated in 2018?

Room and bed were very comfortable, immaculately clean and modern. 2 mins walk from train station, if you need lift access to train then a 6 mins walk, we had a stroller. Breakfast was a bit of a zoo, we went during Christmas, very busy! But tables were spacious so even though there were so many people you don’t feel cramped. Good variety of food selection. We had dinner at the Japanese teppanyaki restaurant. Delicious, especially the tuna salad. I found the lobby staff a little lack of personality, at check in, no mentioning of where breakfast will be, what time check out is. Just checked you in and that’s it, no personal notes in the room. When I expressed I’ve lost my phone at the shop in Tokyo, no sign of empathy (it was a western male staff) no gesture of helpfulness, very cold and robotic. This goes for concierge also, he is an older western gentleman, he needs to use Google translate also which is frustrating cause I could do exactly the same research with Google translate. Overall, hardware is solid, need to fine tune the staff, sprinkle a little bit of personality in them.

It was definitely bigger, and we could easily spread out three 28-inch suitcases, which was really handy. The only downside was that the facilities felt a bit old. Even though it had been renovated, there was still an unpleasant smell from the sink drain in the bathroom.

Given its prime location, you can't expect both spaciousness and a cheap price. The value for money is decent. However, the room felt stuffy and relied solely on the air conditioning, which created a stale smell, as if it had been closed up for a long time. I had to keep the AC on low. I'm unsure about the cleanliness of the duvet; my legs were incredibly itchy for the first half of the night. It only got better after I turned the AC much lower in the latter half. One of the pillows had a strong, hard-to-describe oily head smell. There was also a noticeable accumulation of dust in some corners. The service throughout was genuinely cold. Despite my fluent Japanese, there wasn't a single smile, which is quite unusual for Japan. Perhaps working in Ginza is truly exhausting. They didn't mention the complimentary beer and coffee that was advertised on Ctrip. Ms. Akiko at the front desk, this kind of service really isn't acceptable in the hospitality industry. If you feel so wronged by your job, maybe you should find a different one.

We stayed for 5 days and it was the exact same every morning. Besides some toast and salad, there were no fried eggs or pastries. There was hardly anything else edible. It would have been better not to book a room with breakfast. There's a 7-Eleven and Lawson downstairs, which offer much better value for money!

From the station's third floor, there's a direct walkway leading to an elevator that takes you straight to the hotel's 4th-floor front desk. It's incredibly convenient. Nearby, you'll find the Apple Factory and the Nebuta Museum, and downstairs there's a department store for shopping and dining. A highlight of the hotel is its hot springs, and they also offer some yoga activities, though we didn't participate as we don't speak Japanese. Guests can enjoy the hot springs for free, and female guests are personally escorted into the bathing area by staff, which feels very safe. After a soak, you can grab an ice cream or head to the observation deck to enjoy the view with some crackers and apple juice – a truly leisurely holiday experience. The room was comfortable and quiet with ample space for luggage, offering city views and a glimpse of the ocean bridge. The scenery at sunset was particularly beautiful. The staff were all very pleasant, especially the restaurant staff during breakfast, who were absolutely outstanding!

[HOSHINOYA Tokyo: A Vertical Ryokan Experience] HOSHINOYA Tokyo offers a truly unique concept. It is a traditional Japanese ryokan built vertically within a modern skyscraper, located in the prestigious Otemachi district. It provides a serene, luxurious escape right in the middle of the bustling city, perfectly blending classic ryokan hospitality with world-class modern design. We enjoyed a wonderful three-day, two-night stay at the property from 29 May to 31 May. We chose not to make any meal reservations, which gave us the flexibility to simply relax and explore the surrounding city. [Getting There] We travelled from Fufu Hakone via a day trip to Enoshima and Kamakura. We took a direct train from Kamakura to Tokyo Station, followed by a short walk to the hotel, and arrived at around 8:00 PM. To make the transit completely effortless, our luggage was picked up and delivered directly to the hotel by LuggAgent on the same day. [Arrival and Check-In] The hotel is situated in the central business district and distinctly stands out from the surrounding buildings. The discreet entrance completely shields you from the busy streets. Upon entering, staff immediately store your shoes, as the entire tatami-matted building operates on a barefoot or socks-only policy. We were incredibly lucky to catch a traditional jap instrument performance, which is usually reserved for weekends. A designated staff member managed our check-in with welcome snack & tea and escorted us to level 15. A major highlight is the exclusive lounge on each floor, shared by only 6 suites. It functions as a private living room, fully stocked with complimentary seasonal teas, coffees, and traditional snacks. [The Suite] We stayed in the Sakura suite. Rather than trying to describe the beautiful layout in words, I will let my photos speak for themselves. The beds are low to the floor with a mid-level hardness that we found quite comfortable, and each bed comes with two soft pillows. There is also a television cleverly hidden behind a mirror, though it is worth noting that it only broadcasts Japanese channels. We kept it switched off to maintain the consistent traditional ryokan feel. The provided yukata is absolutely superb. It comes as a full set complete with an inner layer, an outer layer, socks, and a small handbag. The material is soft, stretchy, and incredibly comfortable for lounging and walking around the property. [The Top-Floor Onsen] Having a natural hot spring in central Tokyo is a rare luxury. The onsen is located on the 17th floor and features a stunning design where the roof is open to the sky. As cameras are strictly prohibited, you will have to visualise it or check the hotel website for gallery photos. I understand that the bath is a salty hot spring containing a high concentration of seawater and seaweed minerals trapped deep in the ground. Soaking in this soothing water gently embraces the skin and helps alleviate fatigue in both body and mind. The onsen is open daily from 3:00 PM to 11:30 AM. It was the absolute perfect way to warm up and recharge before we headed out for a busy day. [Areas for Improvement] Toothbrush Set: The provided toothbrush is far too small and takes ages to use. I strongly recommend bringing your own.

I visited Tokyo with my 88-year-old father. The hotel’s location is arguably the absolute best, making it incredibly convenient to visit Tokyo’s major attractions. The hotel facilities were also highly satisfying. First and foremost, the amenities in the guest room were excellent, and the thoughtful accessibility considerations for the elderly or infirm gave us great peace of mind. For instance, the provision of a bath chair with a backrest was very impressive. The hygiene and meticulous housekeeping were of the highest standard. Furthermore, the non-slip mat provided in the bathroom clearly reflected a deep consideration for the guests' specific needs. All of this, of course, is a testament to the staff’s proactive service and attentive care. If there was one minor disappointment, I wish a wider variety of pillows had been available in the room. In this regard, I felt it fell slightly short of meeting guests' diverse preferences. Additionally, as a helpful suggestion for safety, designing bathroom doors to open outward to facilitate emergency access in case of an accident inside is a fundamental design principle for luxury hotels. While preventing accidents altogether is ideal, being fully prepared for emergencies is what sets the highest standard of excellence. On another note, despite the hotel being located within a major railway station, there was absolutely no noise. The soundproofing was truly remarkable. The breakfast offered a rich and diverse selection, beautifully balancing traditional Japanese cuisine with Western options. While ordering a more unique or specialized beverage took a bit of time, the quality and taste were highly satisfying. The other facilities, particularly the restaurants and cafes, were exceptionally calm, elegant, and quiet, providing a very pleasant experience. The food, of course, tasted excellent. However, you must ensure you have ample time to enjoy it; it can require a significant amount of time and patience before the food is served in front of you. Overall, our experience was exceptionally satisfying and wonderful. With its rich historical background and narrative, the hotel offered a deeply engaging and far from boring stay.

The hotel's location is excellent; you can see it right after exiting Odaiba Station on the Yurikamome Line. You can even wheel your luggage directly from the platform to the hotel lobby. The rooms offer fantastic views, either facing the Odaiba Rainbow Bridge or the ocean. Iconic landmarks and attractions like the Gundam statue, Statue of Liberty, and Rainbow Bridge are all within walking distance, and Fuji TV is right across the street. For dining, you have three restaurant choices. The sushi restaurant on the 30th floor offers a set menu, not a buffet, and there are no self-service soft drinks. For getting around, the Yurikamome Line is your best bet. If you head out early and return late, you'll be traveling against the peak hour traffic, and since the hotel is at the line's terminus, you'll almost always get a seat, which is a huge plus.

I’d wanted to stay at this hotel for a long time and loved the idea of a traditional-style hotel right in the heart of Tokyo. The staff were very friendly, and I was happy to get a room on a higher floor as I had requested. The room itself was very small and felt a bit outdated. For this price range, I expected a little more. However, the window — definitely the highlight of the room — offered an incredible view of the city. The onsen was quite small, but wow. Being able to relax in an outdoor bath right in the center of Tokyo while looking out at the city was an amazing experience. The breakfast was also very good.

This is our second time staying here. The hotel is right next to the Ariake Garden mall, practically seamlessly connected. There are plenty of dining options upstairs and shopping is very convenient. Downstairs, there's a large Aeon supermarket, and right outside its exit, at platform 1, you can catch the bus to Haneda Airport. There's also a big Muji store nearby. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus to Ginza from its basement level. While the hotel is situated between two subway lines, neither is too far away, making this location excellent value for money. We booked a family room for two adults and two children, which had four beds. The bathroom and toilet were separate (wet and dry areas), and the room layout was quite good.

Like all Japanese hotels, the cleanliness was impeccable. Although the room wasn't large, it was well-designed and cozy. For facilities, the self-check-in at the front desk really boosted efficiency. As for service, I called for an extra towel and it was delivered very quickly, and the breakfast hostess was also extremely polite. I would definitely choose this hotel again if I have another layover at Haneda.

I've stayed at several luxury/5 star hotels in Tokyo and Four Seasons at Marunouchi is a very rare hotel that impressed me with their service. 10/10 would recommend this to friends visiting Tokyo for a holiday. I filled up the arrival details form before my flight. I was arriving in Tokyo on a red-eyed flight and was planning to reach the hotel at about 10am to deposit my luggage and walk around before I could check in. But when I was at the airport at 8am I received an email informing me that my room was ready. I wondered if it really was as this is the first time I ever received this personalised notification. But true enough when I arrived I was brought to the lobby sofa to have a seat and was offered a glass of wine. Thereafter a staff brought me to my room to do my check in in the room itself which I thought was nice since I wouldn't need to stand at the counter. The staff also showed me around the room during check in which also included some mandarin oranges and a handwritten card which I appreciate. I was also introduced to the hotel's various message apps with the staff which I used to enquire about breakfast, spa and taxis - I found this really convenient, other hotels do not have this service. The staff who checked me in also offered to add to my personalized profile about my usual request for extra bathroom towels. He also asked whether he could recommend any itineraries for me which I appreciate. The staff at the lobby secured taxis for me to nearby attractions and also my dinner restaurant at the exact timing I needed - the taxi was already waiting when I arrived downstairs, I really appreciated that. The hotel room was excellent - very modern furnishings and clean room with everything you'd need. The breakfast was good quality though I wished the buffet had more options, it was quite limited considering the price. There were main dishes that you could add but they were at an extra charge. The hotel was also at a very good location in Ginza near the shopping district and also Tokyo station. But too bad the views were nothing special. Overall the best hotel in terms of service in Tokyo. Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends. I wish I had gotten the names of the staff to compliment them.

The service was excellent, and for a Japanese hotel, the room was quite spacious. They even added an extra bed for my child, who slept very comfortably! My only minor complaint is that it's a bit of a walk to the subway, but exploring the Japanese neighborhood in the morning was actually quite pleasant. Taxis are also readily available.

Service: Extremely satisfied. First off, this isn't a hotel that offers Chinese-speaking services, but the Japanese staff were incredibly kind. Even with my broken middle school English and a translation app, we managed to communicate. When I entered, the handsome guy at the front desk immediately hoisted my large suitcase onto his shoulder and carried it up to the second floor for me, and another young man helped me with check-in. Of course, as I mentioned at the beginning, this isn't a hotel with Chinese service. Initially, I couldn't find the entrance, and there was no front desk on the first floor. When I called, the staff only spoke Japanese. I asked, 'Can you speak English?' and the front desk replied, 'No, I can't speak English...' 😂 Being in a new country for the first time almost worried me to death. However, once check-in was sorted, it was all wonderful experiences. Food: Absolutely fantastic. The main reason I booked this hotel was its reputation for high-standard and authentic Japanese buffets. Staying here meant I didn't have to stress about finding different local specialties every day. The breakfast buffet filled me up so much that I wasn't hungry at lunchtime 😂, and there were even late-night ramen noodles, which was excellent! I highly recommend booking the breakfast-inclusive package. Facilities: The room was too small. As soon as I entered, I felt a bit unlucky. There wasn't enough space to turn around once my suitcase was in, and the shower room was tiny too. My child bumped their head while showering and started crying. Everything else was fine though; it was clean, and the toilet was a smart one. I want to thank this hotel and all the ordinary Japanese people I met on this trip for making me feel welcomed and happy.

The location of this hotel is simply unbeatable, right next to Tokyo Station. You don't even need to go above ground; there's a dedicated hotel elevator in the Otemachi exit underground, which is incredibly convenient. However, if you're transferring to other subway lines, expect about an 8-minute walk for most of them. Also, a heads-up: the front desk is on the 7th floor, but there's a hotel sign on the ground floor for taxi drop-offs. Since the hotel is right by Tokyo Station, you have easy access to all sorts of food, drinks, and shopping, which is why I didn't bother with the hotel breakfast. I could sleep in every day and try different local delicacies. Even the FamilyMart convenience store had amazing food options. It's an older hotel that was renovated last year, but the facilities are complete, clean, and comfortable. What I particularly liked was the shower setup; unlike some hotels where you shower inside the tub, here they have a separate shower space next to the tub. This design makes the bathroom feel quite spacious, even if the room itself is on the smaller side. I've seen this kind of bathroom design in other Japanese hotels too, so I wonder if it's a common feature in local accommodations. The front desk staff spoke good English, and I was very satisfied with their luggage storage and early check-in services. Plus, you need your room card to operate the elevators, which adds to the security. I was out and about from morning till night, so I didn't get a chance to experience the restaurant or bar, but overall, the value for money is high. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Tokyo! It's perfect for anyone who values convenience, loves shopping, and isn't too particular about room size.

It's advisable to be cautious if you're out late at night. There are three convenience stores within 200 meters downstairs, Don Quijote is a 3-minute walk away, and there's also the popular Chikyu ramen shop. On the downside, the room facilities are mediocre, and the hairdryer isn't very good. This hotel is highly recommended if your main activities are around Roppongi, Azabudai, Daikanyama, Omotesando, Harajuku, and Shibuya. However, if you primarily plan to visit Ginza or Asakusa, you might want to consider other options.

Excellent location — just next to Shijo (四条) and beside the Kamo River (鸭川). I did my morning run along the river and easily completed a 10km round trip. Across the bridge is Gion, and on the opposite main road is Kyoto Takashimaya. All the shopping areas are within easy walking distance. The staff were very friendly, and the hotel is beautifully built on the site of a former primary school, which gives it a unique character. There are two cafés on Level 1 — one of them is the popular Blue Bottle Coffee. There are also two Western dining options on Level 1. Level 8 offers a lovely view and features the front desk, bar, and hotel restaurant, making it a great place to relax. Will definitely come back again!!

Coming to Tokyo without knowing much about the city, I couldn't have picked a better location. The room was a bit old but reasonably well-maintained, and the cleanliness was okay. However, the automatic flush on the bidet toilet was very dirty, so I didn't use it. Also, I stayed for 4 nights, and while my child's bed didn't have bugs, on my first night, I felt something like dust mites jumping on me. After 4 nights, I had about 8-9 bites around my waist and stomach. I was really unhappy about this; I suspect it was bed bugs due to the old age of the mattress and duvet inserts. The picture is after applying mosquito balm, so the redness has gone down a bit; originally, they were red and raised. On the plus side, the toiletries were L'Occitane, and the airport bus stop for the return journey is just a 3-minute walk across what I assume is the southern road to the main bus terminal. There's a new Lawson across the street, and a 7-Eleven just a few steps away. Two drugstores are within a 5-minute walk. The subway entrance downstairs is convenient for going to Disneyland. For other places, you generally have to walk about 8 minutes to another Hibiya Line station to get to Shibuya, Akihabara, and other areas.

I come to Tokyo several times a year, staying a fortnight or more each time. This time I spent seven nights at The Capitol Hotel Tokyu. The room faced Hie Shrine. Through the floor-to-ceiling windows I could see the shrine's copper roof and half of Tokyo's skyline. The décor was modern without excess; the layout flowed easily, Bose speakers hidden in the walls, another set in the bathroom ceiling, connected by a 3.5mm jack. The curtains were motorized, though you hardly needed to close them. The turndown service. I would leave in the evening and return late to find the room changed: only the hallway light and bedside lamp left on, a bottle of water and a glass on the nightstand, two chocolates beside them. The evening tea and teacup, previously stored in the cabinet, had been moved next to the coffee machine. These changes were so slight you had to think back carefully to confirm they had happened at all. The temperature and humidity had been adjusted. As if the room itself remembered your habits. Room service fell short of the ryokan in Hakone or Lake Toya, but well above the ordinary hotel. Each day I made two or three cups of complimentary coffee, played music, read, wrote. In seven days I finished three books. The research ahead began to take shape. There were drawbacks. No washing machine, but a decent laundromat ten minutes' walk away—a chance to wander the streets of Akasaka. The room provided HDMI and ethernet ports but no cables; for those who came to rest, perhaps a mercy. The minibar fridge was mostly occupied by drinks for purchase, same as the Imperial, though there was still room for my sparkling water. The day I left it was half past five and fully dark. I could barely make out the faces of the bellhop and the taxi driver. Together they loaded my luggage into the boot. I wished the bellhop a happy new year in Japanese and told her I liked her hat. She smiled and returned the greeting. As the taxi pulled out of the underground drive, I thought of the inns Kawabata once wrote about: what had to be sought in the mountains of snow country can now be reached by elevator from the B2 exit of a metro station. However, it's clean and tidy, equipped with a bathtub, shower, refrigerator, and an electric kettle. Our room had a window, but there was no view – just a very close-up wall of the adjacent building. The air conditioning unit seemed a bit old, as even on the lowest setting, it made a noticeable sound. The staff were very friendly. While it was convenient, we felt JP¥14,800 was quite expensive for just a few extra hours. It wasn't until we got to the room after checking in that we realized he had upgraded us for free, which was such a pleasant surprise. It was late by then, and when I went back to the front desk to look for him, he was already gone. I really wanted to thank him for giving us the most beautiful room on this trip. We had a wonderful stay at Dhawa Yura Kyoto and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. The location is excellent, right next to Sanjo Station and within easy walking distance of Gion, Yasaka Shrine, Nishiki Market and many of Kyoto's main attractions. It made getting around the city incredibly easy. The hotel itself is modern, stylish and immaculately clean. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, quiet and a welcome place to relax after long days exploring Kyoto in the summer heat. One of the highlights was the breakfast. There was an excellent selection of both Japanese and Western dishes, with fresh fruit, eggs, rice, grilled fish, noodles, miso soup, vegetables, pastries, juices and good coffee and English breakfast tea. Everything was fresh and well presented, and it gave us a great start before our early morning adventures. The staff were consistently warm, welcoming and professional throughout our stay. We particularly appreciated being able to hire bicycles from the hotel, which allowed us to cycle to Kiyomizu-dera at sunrise before the crowds arrived. It became one of the highlights of our entire Japan trip. Overall, Dhawa Yura offered the perfect combination of comfort, service and location. If you're looking for a boutique hotel in Kyoto that's close to everything while still feeling peaceful and relaxing, this is an excellent choice. Highly recommended.

Excellent location in Central Kyoto, right in the heart of shopping district, plenty of food options, and a short walk to Gion on the East. Very near to Hankyu train station that goes to Osaka Umeda. Staff were so friendly, always smiling and ready to assist. Rooms on the smaller side, not sure if it's the layout that made it feel more cramped, but Japan hotel rooms are generally like that. Best thing about this hotel is the open air natural hot spring! Amazing view of the mountains and you can even see Kiyomizu Dera temple in the distance. The water temperature was also not burning hot like some other public baths. There are complimentary drinks (including alcohol) on the rooftop terrace everyday from 4.30 to 6pm. Also free drinks from coffee machine all day in the lounge. I did not take hotel breakfast as I saw it is only simple bento box instead of buffet, so you can get better food outside.

The room's cleanliness was, as always, excellent, and it was quite spacious. We booked a twin room, and the beds could be pushed together. However, the bathroom was exceptionally small, making it difficult to place toiletries, including cups and razors, freely. There's a self-service laundry room and an ice machine. The room only provides two bottles of water, and there's no water purifier. Although the bathroom sign indicates the water is drinkable, it actually has a strong chlorine smell, which persists even after boiling. This isn't very practical for those accustomed to bottled mineral water or water purifiers in their home country. All toiletries were provided, but I have two main complaints: the toothpaste came in a tiny 2x1 cm paper sachet, which was incredibly inconvenient – small, hard to tear open, and difficult to squeeze out. It was quite an experience! Secondly, unlike the first hotel we stayed at, there were no bath salts provided. Transportation is extremely convenient, with Kyoto Station directly across the street. Check-in was also easy, and our luggage was automatically stored by the front desk upon arrival.

There's a 7-Eleven and a 24-hour Fresco supermarket just steps from the hotel, which is a huge plus. The front desk service was fantastic and super friendly, and communication in English was incredibly smooth. I needed to change a restaurant reservation, but the restaurant only spoke Japanese, making it difficult to communicate. The front desk staff were very patient and efficiently helped me sort it out—much appreciated!. The lobby offers complimentary coffee and tea, along with a co-working area. Overall, it's great value for money and a very comfortable stay. Highly recommended!

Extremely satisfied with this hotel. Traveling with elderly parents and children, we landed in Osaka and headed straight to Kyoto, so we chose a hotel within walking distance from the station, making it easy to manage our luggage. It's only a three-minute walk from the train station (you can see it right after exiting and turning right). The room, while not huge, was incredibly cozy and didn't feel cheap like some budget hotels. The staff were very friendly; my partner loves tea and would ask for extra water daily, which they always provided for free. During our stay, we rarely saw other Chinese guests; it was mostly Western and local guests, and breakfast was always quiet. There are tons of restaurants near the hotel (a sushi place within a five-minute walk was super delicious and great value for money). Plus, there's Isetan department store right next to the station for shopping – it couldn't be more convenient! A taxi from the hotel to Kiyomizu-dera Temple cost about 1800 JPY, and to Takashimaya, it was roughly the same price. At 9 PM, you can enter the station and take the escalator to the top for a free panoramic view of Kyoto's nightscape. All in all, I'm very satisfied and would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

I booked this hotel near Kyoto Station, about a 15-minute train ride from the venue, to watch the fireworks show at Lake Biwa! Needless to say, it's in a superb location, right across from the central ticket gate, past the bus terminal. It was a huge relief not to have to drag my suitcase around in the hot Kyoto summer! After the fireworks, I got a bit lost in the crowded Kyoto Station trying to find the hotel. I asked a volunteer who was helping with crowd control, and they immediately pointed me in the right direction, telling me it was near Kyoto Tower! The room was a bit small, but it had enough depth that I could still open my suitcase without a problem. Plus, there are lockers to store your luggage even after check-out, so you can leave your bags there, enjoy your sightseeing comfortably, and pick them up before heading home. This branded hotel in Kyoto offers great value for money. Kyoto is home to many luxury hotels like Aman, Capella, and Park Hyatt, which can be quite pricey and are better suited for a staycation to truly immerse oneself in Kyoto's culture. For this one-night stay, I chose the Westin. It's a large, established five-star hotel. Although it's older, all the details are still very well-maintained. The hotel is within walking distance of Nanzen-ji Temple, and a short taxi ride to Kawaramachi Shijo and Kiyomizu-dera Temple. There's also a shuttle bus to Kyoto Station every hour at 10 and 40 minutes past, which is very convenient. I booked two rooms and they were assigned next to each other. They even gave us the rooms at 12 PM, and the rooms had balconies. The breakfast was plentiful and excellent, with many freshly prepared dishes. For a hotel of this caliber in Kyoto, the price is truly remarkable.

Because our flight arrived late at Kansai, I chose the Almont Hotel which is close to Kyoto Station, and it turned out to be a very wise decision. We arrived at 1 AM, and the underpass from the bus stop through Kyoto Station was already closed, so we had to walk around from outside, which took about ten minutes. There was a young man at the front desk who spoke Chinese, making check-in very easy. The lobby is spacious and comfortable, and the self-service amenities downstairs are very comprehensive – you could say they have everything you need. Compared to the hotel we stayed at later in Osaka, this one was such great value. It might not be the most convenient if you're heading to downtown shopping malls, but I think taking public transport is also very quick. The bus stop for Sanzen-in Temple is less than a ten-minute walk away, and Yodobashi Camera is also super close and walkable. There's a convenience store right opposite, making it super easy to grab double skin milk.

This is a budget hotel aiming for something more—and they’ve genuinely succeeded. The room was probably the smallest we’ve ever stayed in (think sleeping on a boat or in an RV), but it was spotless and well designed. Every afternoon from 3:30 to 5:30 the hotel offers a complimentary sake bar in the lobby. They also offer an impressive selection of amenities: toothbrushes, razors, face masks, serums, bath salts, and more. Breakfast is excellent, with plenty of variety. The onsen is O.K. and alternates between men’s and women’s use. We used the laundry and it is conveniently located and inexpensive. It rained while we were there and they offered us umbrellas. The staff are friendly and helpful, without exception. The location is fantastic—just steps from Teramachi and Nishiki Markets, an easy walk to multiple train stations, and close to both the Gion and Pontocho districts. There are countless restaurants in every direction. On one of the afternoons during our four‑night stay, the hotel even hosted a free maiko (apprentice geisha) performance in the lobby, which was beautifully done.

Facilities: You have to walk through an alley to find the hotel entrance. Upon entering, you pass by the staff area. The lobby environment, facing a small courtyard, is quite pleasant. However, the quality of the Otowa Hall is mediocre. They claim to offer complimentary soft drinks and snacks, but in reality, there isn't much choice. The coffee machine area was cluttered with used coffee cups, making it look a bit dirty. Service: Hotel check-in time is 3 PM, but I arrived at 2:30 PM after some early shopping. The staff brought out some snacks and even knelt down to meticulously explain the hotel's layout and check-in procedures. Hygiene: I stayed in a Japanese-style room with a tatami mat. Overall, I was quite satisfied with the environment, but the bed sheets had a strong, stale odor. It felt like they weren't changed between guests... even perfume couldn't cover the smell. Overall, I felt this hotel prioritizes formality. The internal quality still has room for improvement!

The room we stayed in had more of a western fee to it (a chaise lounge and a single seat instead of the traditional Japanese table). Regardless, the room was very pretty with traditional Japanese wall paper, blinds and bathroom. The blinds were a tiny bit spotted with stains especially near the furniture which we overlooked, but the amenities were plentiful and offered in the room. The beds were extremely comfortable and chargers for phones were made readily available. Very nice to melt away in bed after a long day without needing to unpack chargers. The shared baths were also beautiful, large frosted glass surrounded the bath with an outdoor section that offered more of a nature environment. Since this is exclusive to guests there were times where I was there all by myself for a few minutes which brought deep appreciation. I did not indulge in the hotels food offerings, and nearby places closed around 11pm so nothing to eat until the morning when we stayed. We found delicious bites and a fair at a nearby temple/park in the morning and indulged in fresh sushi quick bites before heading to our next destination.

Traveling to Kyoto, I opted for convenience and booked two rooms at a hotel near Kyoto Station. The hotel seems quite new, having recently opened. It's only a 5-minute walk from Kyoto Station, and there's a 7-Eleven right outside, which is very handy. The lobby has a great design, and there are staff at the front desk who speak Chinese; the English proficiency of the other staff is generally good, so communication was seamless. The rooms are a bit small but I absolutely loved the modern hotel style. The bathroom is a compact, modular unit. You can open a suitcase in the room, and the beds are very comfortable; I slept wonderfully for both nights. The air conditioning vents are thoughtfully designed, so you barely hear any fan noise and the temperature feels very pleasant. My only complaint was the check-in speed at the front desk – it was incredibly slow, so slow...

I noticed this hotel's location on my last visit to Kyoto. It's incredibly convenient for Eikando, Philosopher's Path, Ginkakuji, Honen-in, Anrakuji, Shinnyodo, Eishoin, Chion-in, and Shoren-in – absolutely the best choice for autumn leaf viewing. The hotel is small yet exquisite, offering excellent tea sets and tea. It boasts a beautiful garden shared with Okazaki Shrine's別邸 (detached residence). The hotel facilities are also good (though unfortunately, no buckwheat pillows, and the air conditioning temperature was a bit uncomfortable and hard to adjust). The lounge has a nice view, serving only alcohol, coffee, and tea. I ordered a chestnut cake. The restaurant service was polite but lacked warmth. There's a large supermarket and a bus stop nearby, but restaurants are a bit further away, so I didn't go out in the evenings.

It's been a while since I last visited Kyoto, and this time I stayed at the Park Hyatt. I was initially worried it might be too 'influencer-hyped,' but I ended up being extremely satisfied. The location, decor, cleanliness, and service were all impeccable. I was particularly impressed by the design and material choices – truly ingenious. Online reviews often recommended room 308 for the Ninen-zaka Suite, and I had requested it in advance. However, I was given 208 upon arrival, which was a bit disappointing at first. But after staying there, I actually felt 208 might be better for summer, offering more privacy and a balcony with pleasant greenery that was easy on the eyes. The teppanyaki was decent, nothing exceptional but perfectly fine. The Ninen-zaka Suite itself was a bit on the small side, but the comfort level was outstanding.

I am from Yangzhou, Jiangsu. Although Yangzhou is a garden city, there are many such style escape hotels in Jiangsu and Zhejiang, Hongxi Noya of Hoshino Group is definitely worth living. The overall health is very good, the facilities are well maintained and there is no musty smell. That is, all the windows can be wiped clean. This time I checked in in the evening. When I took a taxi, I saw the sunset of Lushan, which was a value-added item. The reception staff was very polite and welcoming. At night, the girl was invited to drive us to the hotel entrance. This road was too standard, almost standing on the mountain, and there was a feeling of adventure. When I checked out, I felt the ship of Hoshino. By the way, I recommend the dyeing workshop and Zhai Pavilion are diagonally opposite. If you like the scenery, it is worth seeing.

We also made use of the self-service laundry 👚 every day, which was incredibly convenient and saved us a lot of hassle. As for transportation, it's closer to Yodoyabashi (than Honmachi), about a 5-minute walk, making it easy to get anywhere. All in all, it was a very, very, very satisfying travel experience ☺️

It's located in Namba which is one of the busiest and exciting neighborhoods in Osaka. Direct train to KIX in the same building is the biggest plus. Dotonbori is only 10 min walk away. We had an amazing sushi dinner a few mins from the hotel. You never get hungry staying there. Front desk staff speak very good English. If you opt out of breakfast, the cafe on 3rd floor facing express train station is an excellent choice for coffee and pastries. A few min walk there an excellent brunch cafe that opens at 8 am. If you arrive by train from Kyoto/Nara, it's a little past to n navigate to the hotel. Just get to the 3rd floor first around Takashimaya. Signage is mucus easier from there. Rooms are spacious. We picked the renovated room Swiss Select. It's absolutely worth paying a little bit more. I'll definitely stay there again should I be visiting Osaka in the future.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic. Daimaru department store and Shinsaibashi shopping street are just across the road, making it incredibly convenient for dining and shopping. There are tons of delicious food options nearby. The teppanyaki restaurant on the third floor of the hotel is good. While the buffet breakfast on the second floor doesn't have a huge variety, the quality is excellent. Guests can ask the front desk for breakfast coupons, which cost 3600 JPY per person. All the restaurants on the B2 level are also delicious, and the service is great. My room had a good view, facing Daimaru directly. There were always Chinese-speaking staff at the front desk, and you can buy airport bus tickets in the lobby. The room itself was a bit dated, possibly because I booked a lower-grade room, but it was functional. The shower in the bathroom had excellent water pressure, which was very refreshing – a crucial detail when traveling. The downsides were that the toilet flush button was too small and required a lot of force to press. Also, either the duvet insert or the mattress in the room had a slight, but not overwhelming, odor, perhaps due to age. For the first two days of my stay, I felt itchy while sleeping, and woke up one morning with a very itchy bite on my ankle. The fabric chairs and sofa also looked a bit dirty. I hope the hotel can improve on these aspects. I wonder if staying in a higher-grade room next time would be better.

I genuinely think the Osaka Marriott is the best value-for-money Marriott I've ever stayed at, from the 6000+ won Jeju Marriott to Marriotts in China and Europe. Not only is it incredibly clean, but everything is also so user-friendly and convenient. The room cleaning was very timely, amenities were well-stocked, and it was a very comfortable stay. The Tennoji location is also excellent; you don't need to transfer trains to get anywhere. I used the Kansai Thru Pass, taking the JR Osaka Loop Line for nearby places and the Kuroshio express for further destinations like Kii-Katsuura – it was very useful. I booked a connecting room and requested a high floor, which they accommodated by giving me a room on the 52nd floor, though it faced south. Next time, it would be even better if I could get a north-facing room. Before going, I read some reviews and was concerned about a potential smell in the room. When we checked in, there was no smell at all. However, after going out one day and returning, I noticed a slight odor. I cranked the air conditioning to max and lowered the temperature, and after a while, the smell was gone. Others might want to try this if they encounter the same issue. Oh, and the breakfast is pretty good; at least they have Udon noodles and curry rice. You can also make your own dorayaki. Overall, I give it a five-star recommendation.

The hotel's location is superb. It's a convenient 3-5 minute walk to Osakajokoen JR Station, making it easy to get anywhere. There's an elevator inside the station that goes directly to the exit. After exiting, you walk about a hundred meters along a corridor to another elevator that takes you to ground level. Cross a small bridge and an intersection, and you're at the hotel. This is incredibly convenient if you have large luggage. The hotel is situated on the northeast side of Osaka Castle Park, by a small bridge, so you can easily stroll along the castle moat anytime. Shopping and dining are also very convenient. Cross the overpass from the park's south exit, and you'll find Q's Mall. There are also countless restaurants if you walk to Kyobashi Station (and along the way). For airport transfers, take the JR line to Tennoji, then transfer to the JR Loop Line (red), and it's just six stops to Osakajokoen Station. The hotel's cleanliness and facilities are excellent, especially the soundproofing – it's very quiet. The mattress and pillows are just right, providing a great sleeping environment. The hotel service is highly professional, from the front desk and restaurant to the lobby and concierge. The breakfast is a rich blend of Western and Japanese styles (though the coffee was a bit weak). I stayed for seven nights in total and had a fantastic experience.

Rooms are surprisingly spacious and beautifully designed, amenities are out of this world. Some people have mentioned that it may not be the best fit if you are traveling with a family since both the shower and the toilet have windows, but for a young couple that was a great experience. The whole place has a very nice smell and you can sense it even from the street connected to the main entrance. One thing that threw us off a little when checking-in was the request from the staff to give them our credit card that we used when booking so that they can charge us in case we break something. Yes, once I informed the staff that I do not have it on me, they said ”Okay” and the issue went away completely, but it did leave a bad aftertaste and I ended up feeling uneasy during the whole stay.

Staying at Hotel Granvia Osaka was such a pleasant experience! Location: If you're coming from Kansai Airport, taking the Nankai Rapid Express to Namba and then dragging your luggage to the hotel is a bit of a trek, about 1km I'd say? I heard taking the bus is better. But the hotel's location is absolutely fantastic. Just 100 meters outside, you're in the busiest area of Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi. Every day after exploring, you can just step downstairs and enjoy all sorts of delicious food. Room: The room isn't huge, but I could half-open my 28-inch suitcase. Although it's a bit older, it's very clean! The only issue is that the curtains don't block out the light completely, so I was woken up by the sunlight in the morning. I should have worn an eye mask. Breakfast: It's alright, enough to fill you up. If you're rushing out to explore every day, it's worth booking. The restaurant isn't very big and can get crowded sometimes. A big plus is that children under 12 eat for free! Service: My room was right opposite the linen room, but I stayed for 3 nights and didn't hear a single sound from the staff, which was impressive! I couldn't use WeChat Pay for the washing machine, so I called the front desk to complain. To my surprise, a staff member proactively came to my room to help me operate it. When it still didn't work, they went back and forth to help me resolve the issue. Surroundings: Many reviews mentioned the red-light district at night. I also brought my 12-year-old daughter, and we came back very late every night, but we found it to be fine. This area is very lively; there are still many people out and about at midnight. You can find places like a century-old oden stand and the popular white chicken broth ramen, as well as convenience stores and Don Quijote. I'm very satisfied! Downside: There are too few washing machines.

The reception area is huge, with a simple yet elegant design, highlighted by a beautiful staircase that creates a welcoming atmosphere. The dining area is also quite simple, but the food selection was sufficient to give us enough energy for a fun and exciting day at Universal Studios Japan (USJ). The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, making it easy to rest after a long day. The toilet and shower area were very clean, although there was a slight odor whenever the water was turned on or the toilet was flushed. I'm not sure what caused it, but we experienced the same issue at our previous hotel as well. Fortunately, Keihan provided a toilet deodorizing spray, which was a thoughtful touch. One of my favorite features was the hair dryer and hair straightener provided in the room. They were of excellent quality and very convenient to use. The hotel's location is fantastic. It has its own direct access to Universal CityWalk and is also very convenient for reaching USJ. I absolutely loved staying at this hotel! The staff were easy to communicate with, friendly, and all spoke English, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The only downside was the steam bath on the 31st floor, which requires an additional fee. Personally, I think this should be included as part of the hotel's amenities and made complimentary for all guests. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its comfort, convenience, excellent facilities, and outstanding location near USJ.

I stayed here in mid-August. You can take the JR from Kansai Airport directly to Bentencho Station without any transfers. After exiting the station at the north exit, follow the signs and walk up a slope through a long corridor to reach the commercial street. Continue walking until you see the FamilyMart convenience store directly opposite the hotel's second floor. You can check in on the first floor. The lady at the check-in counter was very nice. There were complimentary DHC makeup remover and skincare samples at the counter, so it's fine even if you don't bring your own. I stayed on the 47th floor. It was a slight disappointment that the Japanese-style bathroom didn't have a separate wet and dry area (the bathroom was quite small, and personally, I found the toilet door uncomfortable, and the hairdryer wasn't very powerful). The room size was adequate, and the bed was very comfortable and clean. There was a mini-fridge, a coffee machine with capsule coffee and tea, and also tea bags. The view from the window was absolutely stunning! It was very quiet, and the room was cleaned daily. I stayed for 4 days, and check-out was very convenient at 11 AM; just returning the room card was all that was needed. The hotel price was very reasonable, and it was great. I would definitely stay here again! Directly below the hotel is Solaniwa Onsen. Very close by are the Lopia supermarket, Daiso, a drug store, and a bookstore. You don't need to go far to shop for anything, making it a great place for last-minute purchases, though they close quite early; the supermarket closes at 8 PM. There's a Life supermarket about an 8-minute walk from the hotel that's open until midnight. About a 15-minute walk from the hotel, there's also a large Don Quijote, which even has a Book Off bookstore. The only thing is, when going to take the JR and walking through that corridor, it felt a bit challenging to drag a heavy, full 28-inch suitcase... even though there are ramps, you still have to go up and down.

I deliberated for a long time over which hotel to book and finally settled on Hanshin. After checking in, I completely forgot that my booking included breakfast. It would have cost over 100 RMB per person for breakfast if I'd had to pay at the hotel, so getting two breakfasts included with a 600 RMB per night room felt like a huge saving! Although the breakfast didn't have a massive selection, everything I tried was perfectly to my taste. On the first day, I ate breakfast around 7 AM and didn't feel hungry again until my second meal at 6 PM. The room, though small, was clean, tidy, and incredibly quiet. On the second day, when the staff asked if I needed room cleaning, I declined and instead asked for a bottle of hand soap. It was POLA hand soap, which is exclusive to hotels and not available for purchase elsewhere. The hotel is super convenient from Kansai Airport; you can take the JR rapid express directly to Fukushima Station for 1180 JPY per person. From the station, it's just about 50 meters across the road. It's also within walking distance of Yodobashi Camera and Hankyu Department Store. I highly recommend this hotel – it's excellent value for money!

I had good experience at Royal Park Canvas Hotel in Sapporo last year. Therefore this time in Osaka, I chose the same brand again. This Osaka Royal Park Canvas hotel’s standard remains high. Overall cleanliness, room upkeep and location are ideal. I like the idea that this hotel is in business district which makes it less crowded and quiet. Yet there’s a family mart right next to our hotel entrance. We enjoyed visiting it every night during our stay. I highly recommend Royal Park Canvas hotel’s chain. The little setback I experienced was one of the front desk staff is not friendly and showed me a frustrated face.

The location is conveniently located between shinsaibashi and namba station. It is not too noisy and crowded in the area. Location was amazing for shopping, whenever we had too much to carry we would head back to drop everything off and take a quick rest. There are many great food options nearby like ichiran, okonomiyaki ajinoya hoten, onigiri gorichan, gyukatsu motomura and idaten. The room had ample space for our 4 huge luggages and 3 cabin luggages. The room might be slightly dark but there is sunlight in the morning. The toilet bowl, bathtub/shower area and sink is in individual rooms. It may be convenient or inconvenient for some. However for the room we stayed in, we struggled to find areas to hang our clothes while showering as there was no hooks to hang them in the shower area. The soundproofing is not the best but not too noisy. The hotel breakfast is great! I loved the corn soup, rice, curry and their eggs. Their croissant is fragrant and tasty too. They had a wide spread of salad that rotates. They had salmon avocado salad, wagyu beef salad and pork with carrot sauce salad (my favourite). They had yogurt and fruits too. They also had a small gym and a lounge with a pool table.

Facilities: The room was quite spacious for Japan, with a minimalist design, yet fully equipped. It had a large bathtub, and on the 12th floor, there was a microwave, washing machine, and gym. Cleanliness: Extremely clean, no strange odors whatsoever. Environment: Located right outside Exit 13 of Honmachi Station, very close to Shinsaibashi, with plenty of restaurants nearby. It's very convenient. I saw some reviews mentioning noisy street racers downstairs, but we didn't encounter any during our stay; in fact, we found it very quiet. Service: Excellent! The front desk staff were enthusiastic and always greeted us when we came and went. When the Wi-Fi wouldn't connect, they personally came to our room to help us set it up. Breakfast: Although the variety wasn't extensive, everything was exquisite and tasted delicious. We ate it for four days without getting tired of it – it was our daily source of fruit! The panoramic night view of Osaka from the 16th-floor lobby is stunning.

Pros: 1. Exceptionally clean. 2. The room has an transom window that can be opened for ventilation (it's rare for high-end city hotels to offer openable windows; I hope they retain this feature when they renovate). Fresh air is definitely better than a ventilation system, as ventilation ducts can also accumulate pollutants. 3. High-quality ingredients used for breakfast. 4. Room service food is delicious; I ordered it multiple times (mainly because there aren't many dining options nearby). 5. Plenty of convenience stores in the vicinity. 6. Excellent water pressure in the bathroom, very refreshing. 7. The toilet light brightness is adjustable, allowing you to see clearly at night without being fully woken up. 8. Great location. It's actually quite close to Umeda. A taxi to Shinsaibashi cost 125 yen, and back from Umeda was between 70-80 yen. A taxi to Universal Studios Japan (USJ) was 365 yen. The airport is less than an hour away. 9. All staff members greet you with a bow, giving a very 'old money' imperial vibe. 10. The rooms are spacious. I recommend booking a 40 square meter room for a very comfortable stay. Cons: 1. The adjacent shopping mall is struggling, and all the restaurants inside have closed down, leaving very few dining options nearby. Only McDonald's is open; otherwise, you have to walk at least 700-800 meters to find a decent restaurant. Also, the hotel doesn't offer a buffet dinner for lunch or dinner, which meant I had to rely on room service. 2. The hotel provides very few toiletries; there wasn't even body lotion. Who doesn't moisturize after a shower? Hotels like Okura at least provide a small sample pack with a tiny packet of makeup remover, face wash, toner, and lotion – that can't cost much. 3. The room service menu could be more diverse. 4. The buffet breakfast variety is exactly the same every day. After eating it for five days, it was hard to keep going. Couldn't they introduce a little variety?

The location is also excellent, right next to Nankai Namba Station, making it incredibly easy to get to the airport. It's also super convenient for getting to Shinsaibashi and other areas. There are plenty of dining options nearby too: McDonald's, Ippudo, Marugame Seimen, 551... basically everything you could want, and the bustling downtown area is just a short walk away. I'm very satisfied and will definitely stay here again next time.

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve stayed here. This might just be my favorite hotel in the world. It’s true, it might not be everyone’s cup of tea. But once you pass through the entrance tunnel, you’re transported to another world, even though you’re still in Osaka. This time, I was on a blue floor. Despite the heat outside, it felt like the temperature dropped by 5°C. The elevator was neon pink. I was greeted with a warm “Welcome back.” And I replied, “I’m home.” I was on the top floor, the 27th, on the Midosuji side, my favorite pink floor. Odd-numbered floors are pink, even-numbered are blue. Soon after, Jack brought my luggage. As always, he pulled my stopper from his breast pocket. Thank you. “Midosuji is all mine!” I declared, and then it was bath time. I headed to WET on the 4th floor. I read a book by the poolside, then soaked in the jacuzzi, repeating the cycle. Later, I had a French 75 at LIVING ROOM, served by Mr. Yajima. The Mexican dish I often order had been slightly revamped and was even more delicious. Back in my room, it was bath time again. Oh? Extra towels, bath salts, skincare, and a chair! Ah, I remember mentioning it last time. The chair wasn't quite what I had in mind, though. After that, I fell into a deep sleep, so no turndown service this time. Oh! Their laundry service is excellent here. I always have my high-end brand T-shirts cleaned here. It costs almost 10,000 yen locally, which is a bit much. They even managed to remove a stain from a skirt that H Nagoya couldn't get out. It’s not cheap, there’s no lounge, and no gym. But I absolutely love it. Thank you always, see you again.

The hotel location is great and easy to walk around exploring right in the middle of the city and you will find this gem ramen store open 24/7! The only disappointment was with the butler service or more the non existent butler service. For the price we are paying, I expected much much more from St Regis as I have been accustomed to at other St Regis Hotels. The hotel is beginning to show its age and hence the cleanliness part is coming into question when our rooms were being cleaned, I mean I am again nit picking here but it isn’t up to St Regis usual standards. The gym room is adequate but there isn’t a pool in a 5 star hotel 🙃.

It's just a 3-minute walk to Nakafuto Subway Station, and there's a free shuttle bus service to and from JR Osaka Station. Plus, it's super close to Universal Studios Japan. 🍽️ Diverse Dining, Delicious Offerings Multiple restaurants provide a variety of choices. The comprehensive breakfast is light yet features Japanese specialties, with fresh and sweet fruits. The seafood salad and other dishes in the executive lounge were also quite outstanding. Whether for a romantic getaway, a family trip, or solo travel, this hotel is simply perfect. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Osaka! Excellent! 👍 It might be a bit tricky to find for first-time visitors to Osaka, but it's no problem if you use navigation. It's very close to Tanimachi Line, Higashi-Umeda Exit 4, and also near the Nishi-Tenma 36 bus stop. Facilities: Comprehensive, and there's even a hot spring pool to soak in. However, please note ⚠️, no tattoos allowed 🙅‍♂️. Hygiene: The cleanliness of this hotel is superb! 👍 Extremely clean. Environment: The breakfast quality is high, and the ingredients are excellent. But you need to eat early, around 9 AM, as they stop replenishing food by 9:45 AM. Service: The front desk staff are also very friendly. For friends who smoke, remember to use the smoking room on the first floor to light up! 😄 The second picture shows the smoking room.

The location is fantastic, right outside the JR station and a 5-minute walk from Universal Studios Japan's entrance. There's a convenience store and shops downstairs – a perfect choice. We even went back to the hotel to rest when it got too hot at Universal Studios, then re-entered in the evening to continue the fun. After a long day of walking, a relaxing bath and soak at the top floor spa in the evening was exactly what we needed to unwind. Everything was perfect, except for the crowds – too many people at breakfast and in the showers.

The hotel's location is excellent. Get off at M14 station on the Red Line, take exit 2 from the subway, and walk past the convenience store for another five minutes, and you'll be there. Remember to return your key to the front desk when you leave the hotel and ask for it back when you return. Toothbrushes, toothpaste, and other amenities are in the basket in the lobby for you to pick up yourself. The hotel room isn't huge, but it's clean and tidy, the towels are fluffy, and the air conditioning works great. The only downside was a dripping sound in the bathroom of my room, 703.

Right next to Shin-Imamiya subway station, so getting around is incredibly convenient. The front desk staff rotate, with two people on duty at a time, including locals, Chinese, Koreans, and Indians. There's a women's shower on the 4th floor, men's showers on the 6th, and a men's bathhouse and microwave on the 10th. Downstairs, there are convenience stores, pharmacies, and places to eat nearby. The room was super small, but quite clean, and they provided towels and plastic slippers. Because it's close to the train tracks, there's a bit of noise. Plus, there's some noise from motorbikes speeding by. I stayed for 3 days, and there was hardly any noise from other guests.

Check-in was done via a self-service machine. The hotel's location is great, within a 10-minute walk to both Kitahama Station and Yodoyabashi Station. The room isn't large but it's well-equipped with a retractable small chair and a refrigerator, and it's also quite clean. There are washing machines and vending machines on the 2nd floor. The only downside is that the washing machines take a long time, so I spent a lot of time queuing to do laundry when I returned to the hotel at night. Also, the default wash + dry cycle isn't very effective, especially the drying. Other than that, there were no complaints, and overall, it was a comfortable experience!

There's also a microwave and oven in the lobby for heating food. Plus, there are free snacks, drinks, and even alcohol available at various times throughout the day.
