西安咸阳国际机场其实不在西安市中心，而是在咸阳那一带，不过距离不算太远，正常情况下去市区大概 40 分钟到 1 小时左右，看你选什么交通方式还有当天塞不塞车。

而且西安整体交通其实比很多人想象中方便，机场出来后的指示牌也蛮清楚，不太容易迷路。尤其现在很多地方都能直接刷支付宝、微信，搭车买票都很方便。不过有一点真的要注意：西安机场距离市区还是有一段路，所以如果你是凌晨抵达、带大件行李，或者冬天去西安，我真的会比较建议直接打车或预约接送服务，会舒服很多 😂
🚇 地铁：最省钱！
如果你问我哪一种方式最适合 “Budget 型旅游”，那我觉得一定就是地铁 😂 因为从西安咸阳国际机场搭地铁进市区，真的便宜很多，而且现在也越来越方便。其实机场本身就有地铁站，跟着机场里的 “Metro / 地铁” 指示牌走基本不会迷路。我那时候第一次到西安，也是直接拖着行李去搭地铁，整体其实比想象中顺很多✅。

如果你第一次来西安，又不想研究地铁怎么转线，那机场大巴对你来说其实会轻松很多✅。从西安咸阳国际机场出来后，就可以直接看到机场大巴的柜台和指示牌，而且很多路线都会直接去市区热门地点，像是：

🚕 打车：最方便！
如果你是那种 “我只想快点到酒店、不想研究任何路线，想一上车就睡觉” 的人，那打车叫滴滴基本就是最省心的选择 😆！从西安咸阳国际机场出来后，直接跟着指示去网约车/出租车上车点就可以了，不需要转车、不需要拖着行李找站牌，基本上上车就能直接睡一觉到你要去的地方啦✌️。像我如果现在的话，其实也会倾向直接打车叫滴滴，因为真的很累，不想再转来转去😭。

First, the good points: The hotel's location is excellent, right by the Bell and Drum Towers, which is very lively and convenient, especially being near the H exit of the subway. The service is definitely the highlight; everyone is incredibly polite, enthusiastic, and attentive to every request. The daily mini-bar drinks and afternoon tea are lovely touches that deserve high praise. Now for the room: it's advertised as 35 square meters, but it honestly doesn't feel that big; it's a bit small, typical for a Huazhu property. The bathroom and toilet doors are semi-transparent, which could be a bit awkward if you're staying for a business trip. The toilet flush is incredibly loud, even more so at night. As for breakfast, the variety is decent, but many of the dishes and bowls were not clean – I even took photos, and this really shouldn't be happening every day. The restaurant service was good, but the staff tend to speak quite loudly, which feels a bit inappropriate. I won't comment on the airport pick-up service as there were many restrictions. Overall, if you don't have high expectations for the facilities, it's definitely a place worth staying, because the location and service are genuinely excellent. I would still recommend it.DariCAD 98

This hotel is absolutely worth a special mention! First off, the location is excellent, with convenient transport links. The accompanying garden is truly unique in Xi'an. The public areas are grand and spacious, and even though it's not a tall building, it has four elevators. Our room itself was fantastic – great size, layout, natural light, and a lovely view, truly feeling like a suite.
But the most outstanding highlight is their service. From the doormen and front desk to housekeeping, everyone was incredibly polite and helpful. Any request we had was addressed immediately. We had arranged for a twin bed setup beforehand, and it was all ready when we arrived, which was very thoughtful!
Specifically, on our last day, our museum plans changed, and we couldn't get back to the hotel in time for checkout. We spoke to the front desk, and they graciously extended our checkout time on two separate occasions.
As an extra touch, the hotel breakfast offers small bowls of *paomo* (a local specialty), which was a nice little bonus.DariCAD 84

Our overall stay was very pleasant, and I'd like to extend a special thanks to the front desk staff and Auntie Yan, the housekeeper on the 6th floor. With the continuous high temperatures in Xi'an, our room's daily supplies were used up quickly. After I briefly mentioned needing more bath towels to Auntie Yan, she quietly and proactively added two fresh towels to our room every day. When we ran into her before checking out, she greeted us warmly, offered us pre-prepared ice water, and reminded us to keep the air conditioning on. Her attention to detail and genuine sincerity made her service incredibly heartwarming, truly reflecting the warmth of the East House Hotel.
However, the hotel's breakfast restaurant experience could use some improvement. The auntie at the noodle station seemed to have a poor sense of hygiene; she used gloves that had handled raw eggs to directly touch the serving bowls. After receiving our bowls, we could clearly see residual raw egg whites. Her service attitude was also cold, even a bit impatient. I hope for a better experience on my next stay.DariCAD 86

Didn't expect to have a choice of both soft and firm pillows! The shower pressure was fantastic too, washing away all the day's fatigue. My stay at Le Méridien Xi'an Chanba was, overall, a standard five-star hotel experience. Being a Marriott property, it has a certain youthful and vibrant energy. The hotel has been open for some years, and some of the facilities show signs of age, feeling a bit dated, but this doesn't detract from the overall quality of the stay.
During check-in, the smile of one front desk staff member left a deep impression; their attitude was friendly and gentle, making for a very pleasant service experience. Upon entering the room, the overall comfort was excellent. The biggest surprise was the Chanba River view outside the window. The large floor-to-ceiling windows offered expansive views, providing a fantastic ambiance whether it was the green riverbanks during the day or the city nightscape in the evening. Sitting by the window enjoying the view was incredibly therapeutic.
The room was fully equipped, and the bedding was very comfortable. There's one minor design flaw I'd like to mention: when taking a bath in the tub, the shampoo and shower gel dispensers are fixed on the vanity side, quite a distance from the bathtub, making them hard to reach while bathing. This was a slight inconvenience. Apart from that, all other details were very well executed. The pool is quite small.
Overall, it was a very comfortable stay. The view is the biggest plus for this hotel, making it suitable for travelers looking to quietly enjoy river views and relax. It would be even more perfect if the placement of amenities could be optimized in the future.DariCAD 100

After much deliberation for this trip, I chose The Westin Hotel. It's conveniently located next to the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, and the Grand Tang Dynasty Everbright City is within walking distance. The overall design features Tang Dynasty-style courtyards, with a grand lobby exuding ancient charm. The guest rooms are spacious and comfortable, and some even offer views of the pagoda's night scenery. The hotel boasts a full range of facilities, including a swimming pool and a gym. Breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, with many local Xi'an flavors to sample. During the summer, it was noticeable that the hotel was quite busy, with the restaurant usually full between 8:00 AM and 9:30 AM. Since the hotel opened quite a while ago, some facilities show their age slightly, but overall, it's clean and well-maintained.
Upon check-in, the hotel provided complimentary tickets to the Qujiang Art Museum, which is directly accessible via an elevator from the hotel lobby. The main exhibition hall showcases exquisite gold and jade artifacts, with dazzling Ming and Qing dynasty gold jewelry and jade pieces. There are also ceramic exhibition halls and a Picasso exhibition. You can scan QR codes to listen to audio guides, and a thorough visit takes about an hour and a half. Staying here allows you to leisurely visit the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda in the evening and explore the Everbright City at night, saving you the hassle of commuting. The nearby Joy City offers convenient shopping and dining options. During my stay, coffee and milk tea ordered were promptly delivered to my room by robots.DariCAD 154

This is the most satisfying hotel I stayed at during my trip to Xi'an! It's in a prime downtown location, covering all the attractions and shopping districts. The room was spotless, with plenty of hot water, and excellent soundproofing. The breakfast buffet was diverse and featured local flavors. The self-service laundry was a lifesaver for travel laundry needs, and the front desk service was patient and thoughtful. My first time trying this place, and I thought it was great! I booked the cheapest room, which I think was a 16-person dorm, but the front desk lady upgraded me to a 12-person one. I even extended my stay for another night.
The environment inside is quite peaceful. Everyone in the common areas is pretty respectful, except for a few loud shouts during billiards sometimes!
Oh, and there were a lot of foreigners, couples mostly, chatting among themselves – it had a nice vibe.
Since it was my first time, I wasn't familiar with everything and didn't prepare toiletries. When I went to shower, I even saw two guys coming out of the same stall, which honestly stunned me a bit.
However, the privacy in the restrooms and shower rooms is excellent; they're all enclosed. The hot water comes on quickly, the water pressure is strong, and everything is clean.
Everyone seemed pretty well-behaved. I mostly kept to myself, though, and didn't really interact with anyone. At one point, a foreigner asked me in English if he could use a stool. I honestly didn't understand anything he said, but I got his meaning and just waved my hand. He must have thought I was refusing him because he started to leave. I was so flustered I couldn't speak, just waving my hands around like fans, trying to convey my meaning. He must have seen my panic and understood, so he moved the stool. Only then could I relax and continue drinking my hot water alone. (I saw the front desk staff, both a guy and a lady, speaking English with the foreigners, and I was so envious! Ugh, I can only read English; I can't understand or speak it. I really need to practice my listening and speaking skills. I'll try my luck again next time.)
Overall, I think it's a pretty good place.
Oh, and its location is fantastic, right by the Bell Tower. But make sure you exit the correct subway station, or else a directionally challenged person like me will spend almost an hour wandering around trying to find it!DariCAD 9

Love love love this hotel!!! I stayed with my friend in a 2 bed 2 bath room for 8 nights and it was extremely spacious and comfortable. The rooms were very clean and the beds super super super comfy ( I could sleep it in all day but my itinerary was super full). The photos online are quite true to the actual room. They had extremely good service too, starting from the airport pickup, where they were on time and the car was spacious and luxurious! We did the 5 seater sedan at RMB100, the price is comparable to a didi premium but the difference is that they would track your flight and made sure to you were taken care of. The hotel even had Butler service and was very attentive, I could even get them to help store my friend's birthday cake sent from the local cake shop and send it up to us when we were back. The laundry service was handy for a long stay, it was easy to use (and we were on the same floor so it felt like home to just go to and from our room to the laundry room). This was the first hotel where I stayed for five consecutive nights. I'd go to Mount Hua and Xianyang during the day and return here in the evenings. Even though the hotel has been open for over ten years, the black mahogany decor in the rooms is still very well maintained. The huge lobby is incredibly grand; the only other hotel I've stayed in that can compare is the Zhongwu Hotel. The hotel's breakfast truly deserves a mention – it's incredibly varied, and the quality is excellent. They offer local specialties like 'Youpo Mian' (oil-splashed noodles) and 'Roujiamo' (Chinese hamburger), which taste just as good as what you'd find in a specialized restaurant. The attached Spanish restaurant is also authentically styled. The hotel service was great too; a minor issue upon check-in was resolved quickly, and they even gave me an extra breakfast. The hotel environment is also fantastic, with a resort-style garden. The back exit leads directly to the Furong Xintiandi commercial complex, and the front exit opens to Qujiang Relic Park, which is lovely for an morning stroll. It's also not far from the Tang Paradise and the Grand Tang Everbright City. For other destinations, there are subway and bus stations near the hotel. The only downside was that the TV signal wasn't great, with only a few channels working properly. However, since I was out late and back late every day, I didn't have much time to watch TV anyway, but I still hope they can improve it.DariCAD 132

We chose Grand Barony Hotel Xi'an 🏨 for our trip, and overall it was good.
The location is excellent, right next to the subway 🚇, making transportation very convenient. The scenic rooms offer views of Yongning Gate City Wall, and downstairs are famous shopping areas like Hopson One and Wangfujing.
Upon check-in, the room wasn't ready at 3 PM and required another 40-minute wait. The hotel kindly upgraded our room, but I suggest the front desk adds more staff 🙎 during peak weekend check-in times.
The hotel's design features a corridor-style architecture, which I heard won a Luban Award. While some people like this layout, I personally found the dimly lit public areas in the evening a bit depressing.
The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, a blend of Chinese and Western dishes with a wide variety. The coffee ☕️ was good, and there were many Xi'an local specialties, with the Roujiamo 🥙 being particularly delicious 😋.
The service was also good. It's an older hotel, but it was kept quite clean. The soundproofing was average.

The hotel environment is really great, with lots of greenery and trees everywhere, making for a very comfortable stay. This time I stayed for quite a while, and the butler was wonderfully attentive throughout my stay, always responding promptly to any requests and handling them with incredible patience. They even helped me find something I accidentally left behind right away, which was a huge relief when traveling with kids. This is definitely a family-friendly hotel, and choosing a package for a long stay offers great value for money.

The Xi'an specialties at breakfast were delicious.
I tried the Orange Blossom and Tequila Sunrise at the bar; both were unexpectedly good and well-made. Highly recommend! For dessert, I had the Kumquat Pistachio, Orange Mousse, and a sparkling wine flavored one. They were all great value and very tasty.

This hotel is absolutely divine! If you're coming to Xi'an, I'd even say it's a must-visit in itself. First off, it's right by the Huaqing Palace, with a private entrance for free and unlimited access. Every room also has its own hot spring pool. They include complimentary tickets for two to Baoji Pool. The complimentary travel photoshoot is super popular; we couldn't book it when we arrived, so definitely reserve in advance.
The staff are incredibly enthusiastic. For a room costing just over 1000, it felt like an absolute steal. The service is miles better than a certain hotel in West Lake where I paid over 3000 before.
In the evening, they even have staff escort you to see the 'Song of Everlasting Sorrow' performance, with a hotel-exclusive通道 (access), so no need to queue up early. At this time of year, the first show at 8 PM is already completely dark, allowing you to fully experience the lighting effects.
The complimentary sweet soup in the evening was delicious too.
Honestly, with all these value-added services, it felt like the room itself was free, haha.

In the stream, around twenty fluffy, super cute ducklings swam playfully, even hiding under lily pads when the sun grew strong. Two brown goats contentedly grazed on the lush green grass. The 'Eight-Point Black' rabbits were a constant favorite with the kids, and a proud white fox enjoyed its spacious cage – perhaps not its ideal home, but certainly one where its neighbors posed no challenge! Then there were the flocks of big white geese, honking away with gusto. There's also a vegetable garden, still growing. I hope to taste its fresh produce when I return – what a lovely thought! The evening scenery was enchanting, with countless small lights twinkling like stars in the sky. If you're feeling musical, you can even grab a microphone and sing a few songs. Bad review. This hotel definitely doesn't meet five-star standards. The facilities are outdated, and the overall experience wasn't great. There were several areas that left me dissatisfied, a far cry from other five-star hotels I've stayed in. After just one day, I had eight complaints. If it had been just one small issue, I wouldn't have left a negative review. Here's a chronological breakdown:
1. The hotel lobby is on the 4th floor. This was a first for me – you have to take an elevator up to the 4th floor just to reach the lobby.
2. After checking in at the lobby, I had to walk right and then take an escalator up. The escalator going up was broken, while the one going down was working. I had to carry two suitcases and a large backpack up the stairs to the 5th floor.
3. From the 5th floor, I took an elevator to the 14th floor. When the elevator doors opened, it hadn't fully leveled. There was a noticeable 20 cm step between the elevator and the floor. I had to wait a few seconds for it to align, which seemed quite dangerous.
4. Upon entering the room, it felt quite small and cramped. The most unbearable part was that the bathroom had no door! When using the toilet, you could be seen from outside. My child kept asking why the toilet didn't have a door.
5. After showering, I tried to dry my hair but there was no airflow. I thought the hairdryer was broken, so I called a staff member. We eventually discovered that out of the two outlets in the bathroom, one was 110V and the other was 230V. I had plugged it into the 110V outlet, which wasn't strong enough, hence no airflow.
6. When I went to brush my teeth, I couldn't find any disposable toothbrushes or toothpaste. By this point, I was already disappointed and too frustrated to call for service, so I ended up not brushing my teeth.
7. The next morning for breakfast, there was no one at the entrance to check for room cards. Guests just walked straight in. While I was getting food, a staff member came up and asked if I was a guest, if my room included breakfast, and asked for my room number. This felt very unpleasant. I suggest they implement a card-swiping system at the entrance in the future.
8. When driving out, the barrier wouldn't lift. I drove quite far forward but it still didn't lift. I had to reverse back to the hotel entrance to ask the security guard. He told me to drive a bit further forward. The second time, I drove very far forward before the barrier finally lifted. The automatic license plate recognition camera was very small. On my first visit, I thought there wasn't a camera at all and assumed it was manually operated, as there was no one nearby.DariCAD 39

The entire hotel staff is highly professional, and their excellent service is evident at every step of your stay. While waiting for a ride-hailing car in the lobby, staff members would proactively approach me to ask about my destination and offer guidance for travel if I had questions. When I was taking photos in the lobby, staff members would also come over to help me find good angles and assist with the pictures. Whether it was checking in, having breakfast, or being at the hotel's pool or bar... in every scenario during my stay, I felt meticulous and thoughtful service, with many proactive and attentive touches that made for a very comfortable experience.
I especially want to thank Flora Qiu Jianyue from the concierge team. We had three suitcases with us, and the booked car couldn't fit all of them, so we needed to move luggage back and forth. It was the scorching midday sun in Xi'an, and I was waiting in the shade with my three children. I called her over to avoid the sun, but she insisted on staying in the scorching sun to look after our luggage, helped us move it back and forth, and arranged for a different car. This small detail was truly heartwarming.
The hotel's predecessor was the historic People's Grand Hotel, now part of the Sofitel Legend brand. The building itself boasts a rich historical heritage, but it's impeccably maintained. The furniture and public areas are kept in pristine condition, appearing new and polished, and everything is meticulously cared for, striking a perfect balance between old and new.
The breakfast selection is abundant, and the taste is excellent. The toiletries provided in the room are Maison Caulières 'L'Aube des Sens,' with a sophisticated and gentle fragrance that I really enjoyed.

The hotel was generally very nice and convenient, not far from the highway exit and very close to the Olympic Sports Center (about a ten-minute drive). Even the river-view rooms had great views, and the rooms were quite spacious. The environment was really nice, but it's a prime location. I went on New Year's Eve, and it was incredibly crowded. I wanted to try the breakfast, but unfortunately, I was too late to get up, so I won't comment on that (I think a small open-air balcony would be nice; I highly recommend it). The only drawback was that the facilities had some minor issues. I drove there right after work, already exhausted, and wanted to rest before going out for dinner and entertainment. However, the bedside socket was faulty, and it took about 40-50 minutes to check and repair it. It was really frustrating. This is the bare minimum for a hotel; any room problems should be addressed beforehand. I don't know if the previous guests didn't report it or what, but this kind of basic mistake shouldn't be made. Furthermore, no staff member apologized at all. The only apology was from the repairman who said something like ”sorry to bother you.” No one from the front desk or the housekeeper inquired about our well-being. I just wanted to ask, ”Where is the apology?” My first stay wasn't great. When checking in, I asked if I could have a late check-out. The receptionist, Ms. Zheng, was very kind and let us check out at 2 PM. Considering it was New Year's Day, being able to check out at 2 PM was still a huge relief. The concierge was also very helpful; he even helped me with my luggage, although I only had two backpacks, and explained how to use the lighting controls.
In short, the price wasn't really good value for money. Without the receptionist and concierge, I would have given this hotel a bad review. It's unbelievable that such a large hotel isn't as good value as hotels costing 200-300 yuan these days; it's ridiculous.DariCAD 86
