The hotel est vast, and very modern, situated on a ”restoroute” on the highway. It is extremely well isolated (I could barely hear the cars with the window open, and not at all with the window closed) As it is on a hill, the view is very open There are two restaurants at the basement. Their quality is good for highway restaurants (there are unfortunately no reduction for restaurant customers). There are also a few shops. It is possible to take a breakfast, but I didn't try it The access with bikes is very easy, and there is a dedicated room where to leave them for the night

La chambre était équipée pour 1 personne au lieu de 2 (serviettes de toilette, verre) Chambre TRES propre Douche très spacieuse digne d'hotel plus étoilés Petit déjeuné correct Lors de la réservation avec Trip, la taxe de séjour était payé. L'hotel nous a refait payer sans chercher à comprendre la situation parce que ”la taxe de séjour se paye toujours sur place”. Après contact du service après vente Trip, confirmation que l'hotel nous a fait payé 2 fois la taxe. Merci a Trip qui s'est chargé de résoudre la problème et m'a remboursé :). La récéptioniste de l'hotel aurait pu être plus aimable et faire quelques recherches (surtout que l'hotel était vide a ce moment)

Super Hotel für eine Nacht. War mit meinem Vater. Hatte das Doppelzimmer zur Alleinbenutzung. Sehr bequeme Betten. Sehr sauber. Und überraschend rihig. Sehr gute Fenster. Frühstück im Ibis drüben war ansprechend inkl. Eierspeisen, verschiedenen Broten, guter Kaffee. Alles besser als erwartet.

We stayed two nights end of November and booked spacious quadruple room on the 3rd floor, which had a Mountain view and side view on the castle. Everything was perfect: 1) Very close to the center of the village (there are only 2-3 hotels in such proximity to Gruyeres); 2) hotel is located on the hill, so you do not have to go up from public parking P1, P2 or P3; 3) private parking with 9 places and a couple of places for motorbikes (free of charge); 4) if private parking is full, the car can be parked on P1, P2 or P3 for 10 CHF per day or free of charge between 18:00 and 8:00; 5) room is equipped with a fridge, kettle, safe; 6) fabulous fresh breakfast with a lot of choices; 7) very friendly ladies on reception; 8) wellness center with sauna and hammam (can be booked and ready for use in one hour of heating) and small gym (well equipped); 9) restaurant with a terrace outside with an amazing view; 10) 5 min to the cheese factory and 15 min to chocolate factory by car. I would say the restaurant with limited selection of dishes but you get 10% discount at the reception.

Nice hotel located in the center. The first night we were very satisfied. After that we got a room with separate beds even though we didn't ask for it. It wasn't as much of a problem as not being able to change the temperature, we got cold during our stay, the radiator was warm, barely turned on. During the cleaning of the rooms they changed the towels but they didn’t supply us with shampoo and shower gel which were finished the day before. For the rest it is a recommendable hotel.

Incredible staff, from reception to restaurant waiters. This was my birthday and a little gift was waiting for me in my room I definitely recommend this hotel which is the essence of what Swiss hospitality is truly about! Bravo team Hotel Cailler and thank you for everything!
